Nice to see this thing already pumping away...

Hollywood should also tell you the chance of being hit once by a trained squad of goons with guns is about 1%.

Especially if you're white, handsome, and are holding a girl's hand.

EDIT: I'm really surprised at how hard movies make it look to shoot. I have like 99.5% accuracy at long range with a pistol at the hip. It's harder NOT to hit someone when you're trying. The only thing that causes misses is nature and the jitters imo.

Or else my ex used to say "looking through the wrong thingy"

I am confused...is this a joke? If you can throw a quarter in the air and shoot it, then you can probably hit someone running at 50 meters.

Has bfl sent you any revised firmware?  I don't see any active links to software or firmware on their website.

No, they are too busy working on their medical imaging branch...

I just sent you email to support@bitinstant.com , my paypal email is same and you can check that I am verified.

It's just to prove you that you get off my back, I dont want to make any deal with you, sorry. if you wasnt so ironic and fragile against my person then we would surely had a deal.

You are refusing to deal with one of the most trusted and reputable businessmen on this forum. That alone is enough to say to you, "Fuck off, scammer".

waiting for more offers!

Add your dodgy responses and refusal to interact with respected members who are merely asking what any customer should and I say, "Fuck off, you unskilled scammer."

This is no way to built rapport.

So, Matthew, do Americans pull it down in Asia? Or have we made everyone there hate us too? Since the advent of Jersey Shore, I just don't know anymore.

I'm in for lefty...

Has inaba posted pictures of the chips yet? Remember, we've only had proof of 1 unit that wasn't frying itself...though that is debatable atm. Couldn't they have used really expensive chips to get those numbers?
308  Other / CPU/GPU Bitcoin mining hardware / Re: Thermaltake 1350w PSU troubles... on: February 21, 2012, 03:54:54 AM
No, and it runs like a champ as far as stability. I don't really know what else to go by...
309  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Different level of members. on: February 21, 2012, 03:48:39 AM
Don't put too much stock in the levels...it's just a number when it comes down to it, and doesn't really reflect on the quality of the content. Hell, I bet 85% of my posts are trolling or joking.

e: But do give props to the donator and vip status...they are kicking it down to keep the wheels turning.
310  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Gold vs Bitcoin - The Threat of Bitcoin Value Manipulation on: February 21, 2012, 03:43:43 AM
Right now, the market is ridiculously thin. Anyone with a million dollars could puppet string the hell out of the bitcoin market, no derivatives needed. Search 'manipulator' from the home screen (search is local) and be amused.

e: after a look at www.mtgoxlive.com, you could drop the price by about 20% with $500,000...
311  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Have I been scammed? on: February 21, 2012, 03:41:00 AM
It's a holiday in the US, and yesterday was sunday...give it some time.

Bit-pay is one of the most solid, trusted bitcoin payment platforms. You certainly weren't scammed by them.

I can't find anything bad about the VPS provider. That is a good sign. People are pretty vocal about scammin' here.
312  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Wanted: A few good hackers on: February 21, 2012, 03:34:37 AM
Read the Alt Coin threads...the ponzi market is saturated. Why not contribute to bitcoin development instead of creating another bastardized scamcoin?

If you don't disclose your ideas, you will have a hard time gaining support around here. I am not trying to troll the newbie forum, but shit...another useless altcoin to compliment the other 20 abominations?
313  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: I cant own a gun? No judge no jury. Guilty until proven slave on: February 21, 2012, 03:27:12 AM
why'd it get revoked? you curiously neglect that.

I am tagging along to watch the progress on this beast. Someone's datacenter is gonna get a lot louder...
315  Other / CPU/GPU Bitcoin mining hardware / Re: Thermaltake 1350w PSU troubles... on: February 21, 2012, 02:38:49 AM
NP, i had 600W ultra from 2003 that i thought i could mine with. Big mistake. i was getting behavior like you where it wouldn't boot with that psu but the newer 420W booted fine. Turns out it was bad after i tested a few leads with a multimeter. "Wow, i'm not getting the 12V that i need." Not really the same thing but the multimeter confirmed it was time to toss the 600

The 1350w is pretty new, and thermaltake makes a decent PSU. I never drew more than 800w at the wall, so it's not like I was beating the hell out of it. It was running stable until I disconnected it, so I am stumped as to what could have gone awry while it was just sitting.
316  Other / CPU/GPU Bitcoin mining hardware / Re: Thermaltake 1350w PSU troubles... on: February 21, 2012, 02:07:24 AM
I would RMA it and see if it fits in any of the flat rate boxes. Or use a multimeter and test the voltage of the 24 pin and 8 - 4 pins.

I haven't found my multimeter since moving recently, but I'll do some digging and give it a shot. It's in one of those boxes somewhere...

Good call on the flat rate...I guess I can just cram it in and let the PO worry about it ripping through the box.

Thanks.

I've mainly stopped using online forums - especially those that allowed posters to hide behind the anonymity of nicks. They invariably decline into a huge circle jerk as denizens try to out-do each other in whatever passes for plumage displays.

5 pages of posts and only one offer that met the OP's stated minimum terms (and that offer states an intent to scam him). Allow 1 page to establish those terms.

I'm not saying the OP is legit, but this topic is anti-LOL, it's a frustrating pubescent wank.

You all gang up making unwelcome offers and then tease the OP that he should accept your out-of-spec deals. Finally you "nyah-nyah-nyah" him about ignoring time-wasting crap.

You want to impress me or save other bitcoiners? Make 5 concise in-spec offers that he ignores, then you can claim he's fishing for fools.

Better yet if you are so smart - state you'll do the deal and review the process. You don't have to reveal his secret sauce, but if you think it's flawed and the service wont last, say so after you've seen it.

If it all smells too fishy, say that and stop trolling the damn topic.

/lurk mode resumed

Seems like you are new here. There is a good year's worth of precedent where EVERYONE gets fucked by paypal. So suddenly some guy with no rep and very poor grammar has solved what thousands of brilliant minds have failed to conquer, and refuses to share his method? Must be santa...must be santa...must be santa, santa clause...
318  Other / Off-topic / Re: Does anyone else here love DUBSTEP? on: February 21, 2012, 01:46:02 AM
I seriously can't believe anyone without brain damage takes pleasure from dubstep.

Maybe I don't do enough ketamine.

You don't eat enough magic mushrooms  Tongue

I just like music, not the sound your hear as you're getting choked out.

Explain to me how this sounds anything like "the sound your hear as you're getting choked out"

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=brcTRA9HHgQ

However good the quality of the equipment, there is still massive loss from an instrument to digitization. A $30,000 Gibson guitar in person is always going to sound better than that same guitar on a million dollars worth of gear, because there is always a bottleneck...not true of the analog world.

Very true.... however most of the sounds of dubstep are generated by electronic equipment not instruments

Have you ever been choked out? Throw in a beat and it sounds pretty similar to the stretch just before you slip into unconsciousness.
319  Other / CPU/GPU Bitcoin mining hardware / Thermaltake 1350w PSU troubles... on: February 21, 2012, 01:41:37 AM
I tried to pop my 1350w PSU into a rig and now the computer won't boot. It was working when I boxed it up, and hasn't been subject to any drops or anything other than sitting. When I short the green and black leads, the fan fires up, and when I have it installed, it is supplying power to at least the mobo, as some LEDs light up when I hit the soft-touch power switch on the mobo. When I hooked up my Antec 750w that was originally on the system, everything works fine.

Anyone have ideas as to how I can troubleshoot it, or should I just RMA it? It weighs a ton, so I'd like to avoid shipping it if possible, and I just can't imagine how it broke itself sitting in a closet. I don't have another system to test it on right now, but I can't imagine it would be any different if the original PSU is working fine.

TIA
