301  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2023/24 Season on: February 18, 2024, 09:29:06 PM
For me, I feel like Inter has been doing amazing recently and I think they could beat ATM as well. I know that this isn't some new information and everyone thinks so, but we have seen upsets in UCL just recently. Like how Bayern ended up losing to Lazio.

I concur with your point, having a single loss in 24 round of a game in a season is a green flag for them to remove Atletico Madrid from this knockout face, not only that, the last match the had was in favour of Inter and that was when they were even struggling in the top 4 in Seria A but as it is right now, they don't look like a team that is struggling because they are now sitting at the top of the tree looking like elephant that can smash any animal that comes under their toes.

Quote
I do not think that the gap is that big ,and yet Bayern still lost, so if Bayern is much better than Lazio compared to how much better Inter is than Athletico Madrid, then it is decent to say that another upset is possible. But, even with that in mind I still think that Inter will win this one, it is not going to be all that possible. The best thing to do at this moment would be something that could benefit everyone, that should be what we could possibly bet on.

Beyerm deserve to win that game but they weren't quick as Lazio did. Having a goal sometime in a match is a very good advantage, score a goal and then make your midfielders communicate perfectly with Defense and forward, you will win that without struggling because your opponent don't get the chance to convert their ball to chance, that was what favour Lazio. As we are thinking that a single goal is little, let's see if they don't concede another goal in the second leg because the come back might not even happen.
302  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A student investing in bitcoin? on: February 15, 2024, 05:54:58 PM
I first came to know about cryptocurrency in 2019. Back then some of my friends were discussing Bitcoin but I didn't understand much. After that, they were not even researched. Then in 2022, when I passed college and entered university, I heard new friends discussing Bitcoin investment again. They have benefited from this. Then thinking about making profit in bitcoin investment I want to invest in bitcoin. I also want to know how it works. Currently I am a part time teacher in a private college along with my studies, I work very hard to support my university life and my own expenses. I deposit some money at the end of the month. Now having interest to invest in this bitcoin I want to invest here. Should I invest my savings in Bitcoin?

Your image is motivating but you don't need it to be that large, you can reduce the size by including the width of the image by 200, skip the height it will adjust itself.

At tbe bolded part of your statement, you are working hard you say to fund your university studies and personal experiences, then I'm afraid to say that you are not financially strong to buy Bitcoin because you know what, you will sell that coin later in the future when you run into any financial problems later.

It's difficult to buy and hold Bitcoin if you are not financially stable, if you use your paycheck to buy Bitcoin, you didn't think of how to pay your university school fees, the textbook, the feeding bills, other unforeseen expenses you don't plan for in school such as assignment and group work. No way, you will only put yourself in a tight situation because you will hardly make much buying and holding Bitcoin for short period of time.

My little advice is this, focus on your studies and come out with good grades, by the time you are done school, you can continue your teaching job and be buying the amount of Bitcoin you can afford to buy and also be looking for more opportunities to increase your paycheck.
303  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: I want to know more about Wallet address poisoning on: February 15, 2024, 05:38:57 PM
Don't say because I am senior member, I should know better, well I don't and I am willing to know now, so as to improve my wallet security every day if possible.

This is why here is a forum, we all learn everyday because learning is continues process. I have learn new things today from a full member account, sometimes I just think rank doesn't define who we are by knowledge. Here are my answers to your questions.

Quote
My question is about crypto wallet address poisoning.

1. How are scammers poisoning a wallet address?

2. Is it true that scammers only need to send a fake transaction or fake NFT to your wallet address to get it poisoned?

Wallet can be poison when by anyone but what really makes scammers to poison a wallet is when they notice that you have funds on your wallet. Now, what they do is that they send you spammy tokens, this is done most often on BSC wallet addresses, Ethereum wallet addresses and other EVM compatible wallets, they sent you fake tokens like already listed coins but the one they are going to send you will be fake. For example.

You have an EVM wallet address as: 0xvbgd................hgyhh and you have 500 $USDT on the wallet and when the scammer search expler and saw that you have such amount. He will construct a smart contract token similar to what has been created already. He can create a fake TWT ticker name  and send you some amount that is very similar to the original Trust wallet token which is also TWT but from smart contract address, they can never be the same.

On seeing that sent to your wallet, the first thing that will come to your mind is to swap it because you are unaware and might thought it's airdrop. The moment you try to swap that fake TWT to USDT, your wallet will be drained, your balance of $500 will be wipe out from your wallet because you just communicated with the smart contracts that was written to sweep your wallet to another destination wallet address. This is how scammers use wallet poisoning to scam people.

Quote

4. Can address poisoning affect Bitcoin wallet too, like Electrum?

I have not seen Bitcoin wallet been attacked of wallet poisoning but to be at safer side, don't accept any ordinals token sent you, they are mostly trap to track your UTXO and knows your other remaining wallet so they can target you or possibly hack you.

304  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Preventive measures not to lose your btc on: February 15, 2024, 05:22:35 PM
One of the things that i have discovered os that, scammers will only use the information you allow them to, so concealing your vital information is what makes the difference in the whole hack/scam incidences.
At some level, scammers are the most gullible and the only victims are ate greedy will always fail victim to, sometimes, if you look closely you can easily detect their schemes and easily avoid them as soon as you discover them.
So for that, I agree with almost all the points that you outline in this write-up, most importantly the part where you said, you should not entertain strangers so much most especially those that make offers.

You can be extra careful and wrongly be a victim of what you don't know. I have seen and read threads here how wallet were been swept of all the Bitcoin they have in their wallet and not because they didn't follow all these information, they were downloading a file they think they need but on the process, the software application has an embedded malware that you don't see with a naked eye, even during installation you don't see it, when using it you don't see it but it's there in your computer. Sometimes, even your anti-virus don't detect this things because the hackers are smart to drive tested this malware with different anti-virus so people don't get notifications when they signal any malware.

With all what OP has discuss, even if you are been careful, you need hardware wallet as possible so you don't get any access to the internet. As long as your Bitcoin wallet don't hit the internet, the possibility of hack attempt will be very low, you don't need to worry about malware, you don't need to worry about Ads vulnerability, you don't need to worry about seed phrase attempt because you are not connected to the internet. The only thing you need to worry is the wallet and seed outside the internet which shouldn't be a problem if you handle it with care.
305  Economy / Economics / Re: Some persons lacks financial sensibilities on: February 15, 2024, 05:12:26 PM
The guys (men) are most expected to play this gifting role but here at this edge, my guy thought of having his girlfriend the sum of $50 cash believing she has more of financial issues to tackle than acquiring materialistic items (gifts). This is so she can utilize the money and add up to her educational fees or otherwise.
Now, she said the guy is not being caring and romantic simply because other persons to her notice are being gifted of materialistic items instead of money. She expected me to purchase her items with the gifted money.

This is just how awkward and lack of financial sensibilities some women could be who just sits, makes demands and gets what they wanted without having the compassions of how hard it is to make the money's they spends so carelessly.

Lol. I don't blame her though, I blame the society she lives for believing women has to expect gifts from men. Normally, a gift doesn't have to be that expensive, a flower is enough and at most going for a date and hangout to spice up the relationship is enough to show love to anyone, you don't have to break the bank to do that, I think even that $50 was a mistake, you don't gift money but item and doesn't have to be expensive. The next time he decided to gift her money less than that amount might not be enough to her.

Now, the fact that she was so entitled and belittle what was given to her makes me irk, she is ungrateful and probably a gold differ or these girls that compare their relationship with other girls, they always see life as competitive, because my friend has expensive Gucci shoes as gift, my boyfriend has to gift me Versace or something better than what their friends has gotten, typical bullcrap behavior.

He is even financial unstable, instead of him to focus on his life and look for a way to be financially buoyant enough, he is chasing rubbish relationship that might not lead to nothing and later when he calculated all he has spent on the babe, he will now be regretting his actions and by that time, it will be late.
306  Economy / Economics / Re: Surviving the economy with creative thinking. on: February 15, 2024, 05:01:54 PM
It has come to a point where humans can’t just seat and watch things happen for themselves. As humans leaving in this kind of economy where things are not getting easier, we have to employ the art of creative thinking skills. It is clearly seen that to survive in today’s world. You must be creative in your thinking. The world is a global village that is changing rapidly. Humans must be innovative in their ideas and should produce different techniques. Which can be implemented in order to develop commodities and create a competitive edge.this is to say creative thinking plays a prominent role in today’s world.

The system is no longer working like before and that's because even the humans are evolving. Between 60s and 90s, schools and education are regarded are the bridge between making a future for yourself or become a menace to the society, people were encourage to go to school because you dream of becoming an engineer and after spending the time and struggle, the dream comes true for many people. However, today reverse is the case for many of people, going to school to get a good life doesn't work like before, so many people don't even become what they study in school.

The jobs are not even encouraging where your salary is not enough to get you a dream house and average house, you have to add a hustle with an additional skills to survive the economy. Some professions still pay well but they are limited and even before you get to that level where you will be paid so much money, you must have done many years of services with white beards everywhere, no wonder we have a lot of Musicians, Tiktokers, Youtubers and Content creators and all are because to earn a good living, the world is rapidly changing from what we use to know.
307  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Have you met this kind of investors? on: February 14, 2024, 09:38:06 PM
Common quote from Robin Jones Gunn, you may or may not have heard about it, but is "You go alone, you go fast, you go with people, you go far". Have you met anyone who knows about bitcoins, and then you tried to introduce them to this forum to come join this community, but they refused? I like to see what maybe their reasons where.
I am just over relating that quote to bitcoins; do you have the opinion that lone investors who are not members of any kind of forum or community about bitcoins or cryptocurrency can still be very successful investors?

You really think so many people that we have on this forum really has Bitcoin in their wallets? This must be a joke because stop it already. You can be outside in this forum and still be a bitcoin whale. I know some Nigerians that have Bitcoin and are very popular in bitcoin but have they no idea about this forum, they don't know anything about some technical aspect of Bitcoin and they are successful as you can ever imagine. Forum doesn't define a good bitcoin holder or have Bitcoin because they are good with basic safety precautions abouts Bitcoin and this is why many of them lose Bitcoin daily.

Th forum is just an additional ingredients to a holder, not necessary it must be a a bitcoin, it can be any type of coin, the forum can also makes you relater with other people, you even get to meet your local board community where you can find other crypto enthusiast but just know that it's not all of them that hold Bitcoin, many of them are just looking for a way to earn one or two sats to balance their way of life.
308  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Reminder of possible fake app download on application stores on: February 14, 2024, 08:58:03 PM
I could remember when Electrum fake wallets were common on Google Playstore. There were many other wallets with fake apps on Android. People offen report it of which I guess most many reports are from people on this forum because they can easily know the right and the fake app.

Have you noticed that App Store is bombarded with Apple fake apps now and these fake apps are common than before. I saw another one on Cointelegraph just not long ago but which is about Curve Financial which is a decentralized finance protocol.

https://cointelegraph.com/news/fake-curve-finance-app-listed-apple-store

Any app can be cloned and fake in order to scam some people. Use the official site to download a software or just make sure the app you are about to download have been downloaded by many people like above 100000 people before you proceed to download it.

I used to think Apps upload on Appstore are been thoroughly and carefully review before they are been accepted to be upload and allow for people to access it, it seems they have no idea about how these wallets even work, the just check some basic requirements which the scammers must have study and gave them what they want and hide the big bug that will do the dirty job for them. I think they need to investigate this, learned from what they missed out or better still employ a good crypto enthusiast who have experience in open source code review and understand how to spot line of code that can harm people.

As for we that used to think apple phone are superior because android are thrash with Google play store, we need to be careful and observed well before we download app that might harm us with any sort of malware or just buy a hardware wallet to avoid all this kind of problems, your hardware wallet or air gap device will save you from been a victim of these scammers.
309  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Africa Football Discussion || Current Topic: AFCON 2023 on: February 14, 2024, 08:33:25 PM
The cyberbullying of Iwobi is just because Nigeria lost the competition.  Nobody would have talked about his performance if Nigeria had won the trophy. Iwobi played the role he was assigned to by the coach and that was why he was featured always. Jose Peseiro forced the Nigerian side to play mainly defensive football and used just counter-attacks and this style made Iwobi less productive. He was practically relegated to play as a defender which led to less connectivity with the attack.

You remembered when Aina loss a penalty during the PK shootout between South Africa and Nigeria, they would have roasted him that night with abusive words but Nwabali saved him by saving some penalty and that was how Ihenacho scored the last PK. He posted on his time line that his friends save his ass and he was right about that, Nigerians are bully and have the habit of attacking people online when they are not happy and I guess that's because there is no law that protect people online, if like 20 people have been arrested and charge for doing that, cyber bully will reduce.

Quote
Cyberbullying is not strange in football, especially in very passionate countries like Nigeria. He should see this attack as a challenge to improve his game and contribute more to the Super Eagles. I was happy that he was among the players that visited the president, some players would have departed to their clubs in anger.

I still don't like the fact that Nigerians take it too extreme, they threatened lives and other sort of abusive words that can make one depress, it's really really bad that even Jose Pesero has to mute his replies so that people don't come for him but yet, a lot of people were quoting his posts with attacks for losing the Afcon, for playing defensive game after scoring a goal. We need to do better as fans in Nigeria.
310  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2023/24 Season on: February 14, 2024, 08:15:25 PM
Do you think there would be any surprise result today? Honestly I hope to see PSG and Bayern Munich both winning just as Real Madrid and Manchester City did yesterday. But the odds just look really interesting on the other hand.  Huh  PSG and Bayern Munich both have way higher odds than my expectations. I checked out the missing players to see if there are crucial players missing.

Odds are just way of following the current state of a team, if they are not in good form even if they win the Champions League last season, expect them to have bigger odds because the bookmarkers expect them to lose that match but that doesn't mean anything, things change in the process of the game. Look at Real Madrid, I didn't expect them to give a clean sheet against Leipzig despite having some patch on the center back, they use Carvajal that is a midfielder and Tchouameni for center back and they did extra ordinarily.

Quote
But as far as I can see there isn't such situation. PSG have been very good in home matches so far. Maybe Bayern Munich have looked unstable about performance in the Champions League but they are still way better than Lazio.

No doubt, PSG is coming out of that knockout with any problem, they have what it takes to trash Real Sociedad and Bayern are also in good shape despite not doing good recently, they can still do much more for the team. They have good possession so far in the 15 minutes of time that has been played and with such an offensive style of match, I have no doubt that they will not win this match today.
311  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling addiction causes loss on: February 14, 2024, 08:01:58 PM
He said that he had nearly 64k dollars as a loss in the gambling site.In order to recover that 64k dollars,he keeps on betting from all his economic resources.I had advice him to use only 20 percentage of salary to get away from entire gambling loss. But he is now repeating the same 100 percentage of income from weekly, biweekly and monthly. So he was in the big loan problem.Still he is arranging funds from loan to play gambling, because he think that the recovery was possible at the place where he lost his money. What will be your suggestion for my friend to recover from the gambling addiction.

People are really rich because if I have $64k in dollars, I will not use a single dollar bills from that money, I will use it for another investment and throw some change into gambling, if I win fine and if I don't, everything will be fine but if I use that money to gamble, I will be sick. I trust myself and my instincts not to try any rubbish that will bring me harm because I know that there is no way I will have such amount of money and I will win, even if I have been winning, I will lose on sighting such amount of money.

Addiction is not a good thing, either in gambling or any other non gambling a activity, they are bad for anyone state of health, they are not good for your financial stability, they are not good for your relationship with others, the earlier you guys help him out the better for him before he sold his house and other valuable things to gamble. I will advice you guys confiscate his betting platforms all through, that alone is a great way to start helping him out from addiction.
312  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTC to Bitcoin ETFs - The ownership are shifting to centralized ownership on: February 13, 2024, 06:24:01 PM
Let's not forget that more and more coins are going from individuals to centralized platforms. Private ownership and equal distribution of coins are being reduced.

Now for many people this is not a problem, because they are making good profits from the coins that are being gobbled up by the ETFs. I have no problem with that, because ownership of coins should not be restricted, but it is sad to see our coins going into centralized platforms, where people do not have control over the private keys. (The private key are controlled by the trading platform)

It feels to me, like we are selling the keys to our soul and the legacy of Satoshi Nakamoto.  Sad

I have accepted one thing about trying to let people understand decentralization, just accept that people are going to do anything that will make them happy irrespective of what you said to them, your option doesn't matter and that's why you see people selling their bitcoin, it's their by the way and they do what they like with it on exchanges they warned them about.

ETF has money, they know it's what many wana be investors of Bitcoin want and that's why the are buying and stocking anyone they got their hands own and you can't blame them, money rules the world. Institutional investors are just clown who want bitcoin but feel native bitcoin isn't something they want to have thier hands own, they prefer to have it inform of ETF, they supply the money because they have it and ETF keep pilling up.

I have learned that what is mine is mine and no one can take that from me and I will hold mine because nobody will have access to it, if the new investors can't keep the Satoshi legacy, we can and it will remain solid if we keep it the conventional way of Bitcoin.
313  Economy / Economics / Re: Is increase in minimum wage a good method to fight inflation? on: February 13, 2024, 05:52:43 PM
Over time, I've heard discussions about inflation and the rising cost of goods and services across almost every sector on the world economy.
However, suggestions have been made in various ways on how best to tackle the menace called Inflation. Recently I have personally thought that one of the ways to fight inflation in an economy is to increase minimum wage. More so there has been a back and forth argument on these, as some persons argue that the increase in minimum wage will rise the bar on commodities, because they feel hence you increase the purchasing powers, it will have a multiplier effect on the economy which might be challenging.

So guys, is increase in minimum wage not a good measure to fight inflation. Let's have your opinion.

Check the countries with mostly high numbers of inflation, there importation is greater than their exportation and because they depend on foreign currency for importation, it gives it more demand than their own local currency and that weakened their economy, their purchasing power, and the currency

You don't increase a minimum wage when an economy is faced with inflation, there will be excess supy of money that will be chasing the less available commodities and thereby increased the price of commodities rapidly, the economy will only suffer more from inflation to hyper inflation.

When an economy is not stable and inflation is high, what the government need to tackle isn't increasing the minimum wage, they need to look for what exactly is causing the inflation to increase and make sure they fight it and bring it down. For example, 8 months ago, the United state was dealing with inflation of 9% increment, everyone was feeling the heat but today, it has been reduce drastically to 3%, China has an inflation of 2% currently and that's why things are good there and if they want to increase minimum wage, now is the right time but that most also be manage properly to avoid excess supply of currency.

314  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: February 13, 2024, 05:19:14 PM
Mbappe has not yet made any decision about his future with PSG, Nasser Al Khelaifi is the first person Mbappe will notify when he has made a decision, whether to stay or leave. So that's the reason why so far no club has made an offer to Mbappe or PSG management, maybe before the season ends Mbappe future will be clear. So far, Madrid is still the leading club that wants Mbappe services, and the media almost always associates Mbappe name with Madrid, where in fact there has not been any agreement or offer.

So Nasser Al Khelaifi is now a father to Mbape that he need his approval before he can leave PSG? If there is nothing official in the club, I don't think there will be any meeting between the CEO of the club and Mbape, the agents are the ones to do the talk with the managers or coaches and some few board directors of the clun since he is one of the most sort out player right now. There is one thing you need to know about Mbape, if he want to leave and he makes his mind, not even his mother can manipulate him to stay this time but I guess he enjoy the club more than we think.

Quote
Mbappe will clearly demand a large salary if he chooses to stay or leave. If Madrid is unable to provide a higher salary than that given by PSG, then Mbappe has the potential to extend his contract again. There are some concerns if Mbappe goes to Madrid, I mean Ancelotti will again have to overhaul their current solid attack line, and Joselu will most likely be returned to Espanyol. If Madrid succeeds in winning the Champions League and La Liga trophies, Ancelotti will certainly be happier with the available squad, which may no longer be chasing Mbappe signature.

Why large salary when they haven't bring something new to the table? The last contract increased his salary to pasuade him to stay because of what Real Madrid was offering him but since then he hasn't win anything serious for the club, do you really think he deserve a salary increase. I'm not even sure Real Madrid are eager to have him like they did in 21/22, they have great players already doing greatly for the club, he is the one who need Real Madrid than they need him.
315  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Premier League 2023/2024 Discussion Thread ⚽ on: February 13, 2024, 04:38:46 PM
Onana was really amazing against Aston Villa which made me ask "Why isn't he like that most of the time?"  Smiley  If he wasn't an inconsistent goalkeeper during the most part of the season he wouldn't have been highly criticized. But because of having a tough season people even started to create various memes about Onana's performance.

Maybe the bad look of the team this season caused Onana's concentration to be shaky as well. But he is actually a quite decent goalkeeper which he proved by this match too.  Smiley  If he completes the season by minimum amount of mistakes from now on I don't think Manchester United would be in search of a new goalkeeper.

Blud did well this month and it seems the whole pack are liking him for that spectacular performance but let him do a small mistake, they will fry him, criticize him, fry him, mock him and meme his picture littered everywhere on social midea. One thing I know about Onana, the guy is good during his time in Inter, he hasn't impress me like he did in Seria A but it could be because of the pressure because it's not everyone that can handle high pressure, look how he is doing well when he doesn't have the attention of the fans but let's him do a small mistake, they will fry the hell out of him and sprinkle it with small racism.

Manchester United are scrolling back to the top gradually, they have a good record this month, if they keep the conceding goals to minimal and increase thier goals from Garbacho and Rasmus, they will break the gate of top 4 and climb back with high hopes of returning to the Champions League next season. It will be a plus for them to even make it quick as the Champions League knockout is starting this week, all attention will be there and they focus on here since they have been eliminated in the group stage.
316  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can Anyone +18 Play Gamble? on: February 13, 2024, 04:26:38 PM
Does gambling needs experience or anyone +18, even the inexperienced one can also play? Though playing gamble has a limited age grade or age bracket and the accepted is from  +18 years and there are some casinos hall at the door post, it is written clearly that it is only people of +18 can play. But what about the inexperienced ones, are they allowed to play gamble as well? Or they are also restricted to have the fun? In my observation, there are two elements to participate in gambling. One, you must above 18 years in my country and secondly you must have an experience to play, so I want to know if inexperienced people can also play gamble.

When they say someone has to be 18 plus, it's not because they want the person to be 18 years old to before he or she can play but because it's  the recommended age bracket for adolescents stage, an age where you can be called an adult, an age where you can take full responsibility of your actions, an age where no one can take full advantage of you, the stage where you can differentiate between what's good for you and what is bad for you, an age bracket where you can make your own decision without your parent opinions.

Even if you have experience and you understand how to gamble and you are not upto 18, then by law it's prohibited, the casino must forbid you from playing and have to stop your account from engaging in any form of gambling. However, in some countries it's less than that age, we have some countries that have 16+ and they are good to go but I think most casinos don't really care about this age of thing, they prefer the money than all these requirements.

I am not financially stable yet, so I am very much grateful for the appreciative increments in the Bitcoin market (bull-run) on going, I decided to cancel our marriage anniversary celebration because I insighted that there is more to gain In my continues hodling while the markets skyrockets than selling off my hodled coins just for ceremonial pleasures which can not profer me financial returns other than consuming the ones saved.
Now, my wife seized not to understand what my logical points about this are because she is not the one providing for the family.
As a woman she is, I clearly understood that they are attracted to pleasures especially on activities that attracts public attentions. These species of humans (women) fails to understand that it is money that afford those pleasury materials and activities they craves for which one has to utilize himself logically in economical situations so as to create financial balanced system before chasing after those financial consuming activities without the potentials of yielding incomes.

This is a very sensitive discussion and I'm going to share my humble opinion because as they say, what lord has joined together, let's no man put asunder, be careful of some advices here because not everyone here is married, some of them has not even dated, doesn't have a girlfriend and will give you advice that will crash your home.

Did you buy the coin early or you bought just recent? I'm asking just to confirm if you have just get the normal opium of new investors that always think that the market will continue to rise forever, honeymoon might be a liability but there will be nothing as painful as not going for honeymoon and also not having profits later because crypto investment is very volatile, I hope you are putting caution as you are anticipating for greater profits.

On your wife issues, I'm sure you guys understand each other better, you have seen some quality in her before going to the alter, if you have promised her of honeymoon before now, then I will say you are wrong for denying her that life of honeymoon but if you can persuade her and promise her later, it will make sense to surprise her later when you sell your investment and take her to where she want, she will enjoy that even better when there is even more money I think. I was reading about some cases of people who had many BTC at a time when it has low or no value at all, and didn't care about it, so they eventually lost their security phrases, or hard wallets and now it is lost probably forever.

You are missing up some words, it's called "seed phrase" and not security phrase, and it's called hardware wallet and not hard wallet. I hope you understand.
Once theee are loss, the bitcoin in that wallet is as good as gone, it will be there but you can't have access to it again because you can't spend them.

I've read that the amount that is considered lost can be up to 5 million BTC. That is about 1/4 of the total amount available.

Knowing that BTC has a limit, and we're getting there soon, isn't it possible to have some compensation for those lost BTC?

When you said compensate? Where do you get the bitcoins to compensate them from? Charity? Exchange or you want to give them your bitcoin?

First, you need to know that nobody can know if private keys or seed phrase to a wallet address has been loss because the bitcoin will remain unspent in that wallet address forever until someone who have the private keys, so you and I can't tell and the Bitcoin community cannot tell if a wallet is unaccessible.
You should have seen some wallet of 10 years ago been move, how do you even tell if some of those wallets are inaccessible by the owners.

Something like adding more BTC in an equivalent amount for those lost BTC, or something similar.

Would it be positive for the currency or could bring some caos?

Even Shitcoins with foundations that knows about their investors losses and wallets hacks don't compensate their investors, it's bitcoin that depend on miners reward before the circulating supply can be increase that you want them to compensate? Bitcoin is not some banks that can help you recover money or compensate you when you make mistakes, always remember that not your keys not your coins.

This discussion came out when a friend told me that he planned to move out of the country if he happened to win the biggest post in the lottery at that time the lottery pot was almost $2 million in our currency, he then asked me where is the best place in the world to moved in case he wins a lottery,

So I check the internet for the best place and I stumble this article

I prefer to stay in my country, because the living cost is very cheap here in my country, $2 million is very much enough for all my family up to three generations and I can even help my country by setting up businesses.

The only I will leave my country for another country is if I see another opportunity bigger than the one I'm having right now, I wouldn't leave my country for anything but I will travel out for Tourism and enjoy other beautiful life and culture of other people. As for the lottery money, I will happily stay in my country because such amount can give me the best life I will not even see in some other countries, that amount if manage well can change my life, my family and kids to have a good foundation as upper class level in my country.

If you want to break it down and you want to move to another countr, it should be plan because after billings, you might have to start looking for work over there. Let's say you bought a house in another country, thst will suck 1/3 of the money, obtaining citizenship is another money, what about furniture's and others, you will find out that at the end of the day, you wouldn't have anything left again and because some environment limit you as entrepreneur, you will have to start looking for another job. I will happily stay in my country.

But Napoli is currently even worse in Serie A, ranking 9th. So we also can't expect Napoli to beat Barcelona. But after seeing Barcelona held to a draw by Granada, now we also can't hope that Barcelona will succeed in beating Napoli. This is very funny because the Barcelona vs Napoli match will be a match that brings together two teams that have experienced inconsistencies this season. It's just that in terms of rankings, Barcelona is still ahead in 4th place in the league. This is different from Napoli which was thrown all the way to 9th place. Last season these two teams were champions in their respective domestic leagues. But this season, both of them are having difficulty getting close to first place.  Cheesy

Not like Barcelona are also in good shape. They played one of their domestic round yesterday with Granada, a relegated team for that matter and yet the match ended in 3-3 as draw, if not that they have perform very well in the beginning of the season, they will be in the same spot like Napoli right now. Napoli also are suffering from their own mistake for pushing conflicts between there players, now the two players don't blend well again, Osimhen just finished Afcon yesterday, he has not been around and I'm not sure if he is going to be around for this game because he is having injury.

If I'm to bet against this two teams, I wouldn't bet for win or loss, I bet for goals and I will pick over 1.5 for Napoli and Barcelona but since Barcelona will be home for the first leg, it's possible for Xavi to improve the boys to give a lead against Napoli in the coming matche, that's if Osimhen isn't around but if he doesn't play, Napoli risk losing this match for sure.
