301  Economy / Reputation / Re: What Sort of Signature is "FUCK Royse777"? on: February 23, 2024, 03:03:35 AM
It is obvious someone is trying  to use you troll, AB de Royse777 here. As far as I am concerned, he is among the reputable managers here, and possibly that could be a competitor who is not happy with the success he has achieved so far on this platform. I will only advise you to be careful not to be used as bait to cause misunderstandings here by attacking someone's hard-earned reputation.
302  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have you won a bet with your last cash? on: February 23, 2024, 02:34:10 AM
Sometimes it can be very disappointing when you have put hope in your gamble to yield positive results and you just end up losing more than you bargained for. It is very frustrating and demands that you immediately cut down, take a break, and also do well to have a gambling budget. I have not had the experience of using my last cash to gamble. I always make sure I have cash that  can get me to my house, irrespective  of the situation. I always make sure my transport fare is on standby, and I do well to have that consciousness and not reach out for it in gambling joints or sports.
303  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can Anyone +18 Play Gamble? on: February 23, 2024, 01:36:14 AM
When it comes to gambling, age and experience are two different things. The law does not look at experience but rather the age factor to determine if someone is truly of age to gamble or not. This means that before one gambles, one must be of the age described by the law of being a mature adult above the age of becoming self-dependent and reliant, but experience can be gained when one constantly engages in exercise regularly before they become perfect in the act. So therefore, experience can not be a barrier to gambling because if one feels they are inexperienced, constantly visits the gambling house to gamble, they will gradually get the experience, as the gambling house has no issues with whether you are experienced or not. All they are after is their money, as there is no sign of it written on the faces of the individuals. So everyone is free to access the casino as long as they are of age to do so.
304  Economy / Gambling / Re: Responsible gambling on: February 22, 2024, 11:24:51 PM
For me, I think responsible gambling is any gambling you do when you consider the money gone. If you can place a bet and be happy knowing you have just SPENT your money, then you are gambling responsibly. If you place a bet and are worried whether or not you win, then you are gambling for the wrong reasons and should check yourself.

I agree with your point, as you have said. Responsible gambling is absolutely playing with a budget you have made and can afford to lose, irrespective of how much it costs. When you gamble without any pressure or must win or earn from  a game played, you can say that you have gambled responsibly, and, as such, one must be happy and filled with satisfaction after having gambled, just like when one attends a party and returns home happy and satisfied with the fun achieved from the party.
305  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why mega threads always be kept open on: February 22, 2024, 10:45:50 PM
OP, I think mega threads are meant to be like that because from my little observations, it does not necessarily means that some of.the conversations on such thread as invalid. In most cases, some words or quoted and the replies are based on the quoted comments or replies which keeps prolonging and some of those quotes might not be inline with the sole purpose of the thread but people are reading it and quoting it and it keeps extending and so on and so forth.

I believe each thread has something to learn from. So therefore non of them is a waste  as they are educative and entertaining. But however, only the OP has the ability to lock such thread followed by moderators and that can only be done if the admin and moderators finds it unwanted on the platform.
306  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Who's winning more casinos or gamblers? on: February 22, 2024, 09:04:36 PM
Casinos operates just like the sayings that says " Rob Peter to pay Paul" that is all about gambling. You know one thing that gamblers fail to understand is that the odd always ends in favor of house  which is always a norm in the casino space. This is amongst the reasons why gamblers are advised to gamble with what they can afford to lose.

Casino are always in the winning side of it all because they are a running venture and would need gamblers loses to fund the house so I that case, the odds goes majorly in favour of the casino as it was designed in that way.
307  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Invest in Bitcoin, for long time Holding on: February 22, 2024, 08:30:46 PM
OP there is nothing bad about holding bitcoin for a short and long term. It all depends on your investment plans and budget.  Shirt term holders are mostly traders who take advantage of the market situations on daily basis to trade and take profit. In some cases, they make good cash from their trading on daily basis and in some cases, they make loses that is how it is and as for long term holders, they also make big profit as long as they have a long term plans and also have good holding position in the market.

It is good to invest in a long term basis because that would not bother you irrespective of how the market condition is at that very moment. If you are holding for a long term, your investment is guaranteed because the price or amount at which you bought the bitcoin might do like 10x bigger than what you envisaged for. So therefore a long term investment plan is a good idea for anyone who plan holding bitcoin for the time being.
308  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gamble with what you can afford to lose can actually make a good investment on: February 22, 2024, 07:58:40 PM
Because someone is gambling, does not mean the person is not investing. If truly you are gambling with what you can afford to lose, you will have savings and also plan your future. But the problem is when you are gambling with what you can not afford to lose. And that is the addiction that people are talking about if frequent.

If someone sees that he is not able to control himself or herself while gambling and if gambling is taking too much from the person, the person should stop gambling. The money that should be spent on gambling should be peanuts money.
Of a truth, before one can be able to make a budget for gambling, then that one is up and doing to sustain themselves. As it is that gambling is just for fun, one can do a  gamble as much as they want since it does not avoid their budget and they can afford investment in other aspects of the economy to make profit.
I was looking at what op meant in the sense that the budget used for gambling if compiled together would be enough to have invested into other business that could generate huge amount of money for the gambler rather than using it for gambling and losing it everyday.
However, if one can as well do it this way by saving the same amount one uses for gambling and also gambling and see how much they spend gambling in a whole year compared to what they could or would have used that same amount to do in a year. This is just like one doing a comparative advantage in both ways to see what they could achieve within the period of time either ways.
309  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Bitcointalk accounts available on: February 22, 2024, 07:33:41 AM

It seems spamming of local boards for sales of account is just what you are interested in doing here. Already you got your account tagged for being a scammer. With your tag alone, I do not think any reasonable individual would think of transacting with you.
With your rank and activities here I believe you already know how things are done here which should have made you to be of good conduct but it is unfortunate that you choose to take this path which is not in line with the forum standards and possibly that must have resulted to your account being flagged.

Be warned do not trade with this account holder. Look at his trust score and post history before dealing with him but if you ignore what ever the outcome is, you will have yourself to blame. Be warned !!
310  Economy / Services / Re: Seeking Experienced Gambling Industry Advisors/Players for Campaigns on: February 22, 2024, 02:36:03 AM
Hhampuz, yahoo62278, icopress, efialtis, Royse777... CryptopreneurBrainBoss, Julerz12
Good luck
Thanks for the mention, I have been in talks with blackjack.fun for a couple days now. Not sure what all they have planned but they seem to want to have multiple managers.

@ Examplens please forgive my ignorance. I could not imagine skipping the almighty Yahoo62278. It just dawned on me  after I received the notification. I strongly can not dispute the fact that he is a reputable manager here, and as a matter of fact, he is among the top recommended managers to deal with on this platform as his field of experience is very vast. I have been opportuned to work with him, and I must say the experience was worth it. He is good at his work and would add more value to the  blackjack.fun casino if taken as a managerial team member.
311  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How safe is it letting the bank know that you are a BTC Investor? on: February 22, 2024, 02:17:11 AM
OP, it is normal that the bank would ask you questions about your finances, as they have a questionnaire to fill out, which they would add to your file. They must do so and would need you to cooperate with them while filling it out. It is part of their duty, and they have been trained to do so.

I would say that what you did by revealing your source of income to them was not safe. You, in person, do not know who the customer care representative is, nor do you have any relationship with them. You could have just schemed
something for them to divert their attention. You went too far. Do you know that your account is currently under observation by the bank and government agencies? These are the things one would need to know before encountering such an event next time.

You undermined your safety here. while answering that question in the bank I believe you had no idea who was listening to your conversation, taking a record of you, and possibly thinking of what to do, which you might have no idea about. You need to be security-conscious next time, as you have said.
312  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Don’t play gambling with drugs or in half sleep on: February 21, 2024, 10:25:29 PM
I know nothing about drugs but I could imagine how it could be because if you have watched movies of those nature, then you would understand how it is. You have done well advising your friend to do away with drug while gambling because it is not ideal at that state of mind gambling. It is just like one sleeping and eating and you know sometimes while doing that you might mistaken your nose for your mouth and put the food you are eating at the wrong location that is how it is when you are drunk as well. I was just imagining it and how the the results of what ever one is doing under the influence of drug could be. One could make series of mistakes if they are intoxicated while gambling and just as you have said that he has recorded series of loses which I believe is true. You can not change him. He has to do the needful by examining himself very well to know the loses and benefits as a result of his behaviour then he would know the next step to take but you should also make yourself available to guide him through when he has made up his mind to do so.
Weldone OP, I commend your efforts in trying to help your friend. You are really a good friend indeed.
313  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: OKX Exchange Verification Update. on: February 21, 2024, 08:36:58 PM
Does this implies to all users or only those that participated for an airdrop reward or what?
Although I can't recall if I have made account there before maybe I have to search through my mails to know if have already created an account over there. Sometimes the way these exchange operates it's a bit tiring why would they want to impose kyc on their users, does it mean if I create an account over there and refused to make used of it would they force me to come make kyc or they will block my account.

I think this possibly applies to all Nigerians on their platform because if you read the content of the message you will notice that they made a comment which is in compliance to the local laws of the land which invariably means that Nigerians registered with okx exchange must undergo or update their identity verification within the stipulated time given otherwise they face the risks of losing everything they have with them.

If you are not an active user of the platform and you have nothing with them, you should not bother about it as you have nothing to lose but if you have token or coin with then, I would advise you do your KYC so as to claim or retain your coin.

I think this is not fair they should allow their customers carry's out their kyc when they are in need of it not by imposing it on them to come do kyc. Then lastly, na so our country tins dey be for us any small opportunity wey people wan carry survive dem go wan use their own take block am for the poor masses why because dem no wan people survive at all, this con make me tire for 9ja tins bicus dem always look for wetin to carry suffocate their citizens.

Possibly since it is inline with the local laws as they have said, maybe the government must have written to them to conduct the exercise on all Nigerians registered on their platform which they would need to comply so as to avoid any further issues with the government. The best thing to do is just to avoid them if you feel you are not interested in their services. But anyhow them do, there is always an alternative and that is plan B for real.
314  Economy / Services / Re: Seeking Experienced Gambling Industry Advisors/Players for Campaigns on: February 21, 2024, 05:49:28 PM
Your offer is quite elaborate and self explanatory to begin with. I think when it comes to advertising, there are lots of reputable managers here which you can contact to assist you like; CryptopreneurBrainboss, AB de Royse777, Julerz12, Icopress, Hhampuz and lots of them too numerous to mention here. I think they could assist you in a good advertising campaign management if you don't mind contacting them for your offer.. I believe they would give you guidelines on as the are very vast in the management of casinos campaigns and lots more. You can as well reach out to efialtis as earlier advised to help you with ideas from his experience as it relates to casinos and management.
315  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Bank in dollar is more safer than naira on: February 21, 2024, 05:25:25 PM
It is obvious now that the naira is in a free fall state and has no support or anything to back it up. Our government is bereft of ideas to sustain the economy.  The price of goods and commodities are on the rise owing to the fact that the naira is devaluing. At this point, people who are well schooled, learned and exposed would always opt for options to secure their assets and funds from depreciating. Every right thinking individual would always make a fast move to secure their assets and finance from loosing value and as such, some would go for dollar hodling against the naira so they could get more profit as the case may be. In times like this, people would prefer Savings or holding in dollars to avoid losing assets values. I have no doubt that our leaders re doing this as well.
316  Local / Off-topic (Naija) / Re: It's over 4 months and you no wan leave? on: February 21, 2024, 05:03:20 PM
Things dey really happen for this country. People are really going through lots of experience now so any where them see comfort, that is where they will hide their head for the time being just to survive. My brother I understand say currently things are really going haywire and for the fact that you are one of them hence their comfort in staying with you which you would not blame them.  I will advise you discuss with your aunt to sought things out so as to avoid having misunderstanding with her and this should be done very fast so it doesn't result to something else in the future.
317  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / OKX Exchange Verification Update. on: February 21, 2024, 04:44:59 PM

Fellow countrymen and women I bring you update with respect to the okx exchange verification exercise. If you have an account with okx exchange kindly do well to go conclude your verification exercise otherwise after seven days as automated by the okx management without you concluding your verification exercise, your account would be suspended as any token present in your account would be seized by the okx exchange. I believe majority of us here did the avive mining and airdrop of which we have linked our various accounts and have started receiving or coin on okx exchange. So therefore I will urge us to look into this and give it the utmost attention it deserves so you do not get your account restricted as you do not know what the coin in your exchange wallet holds tomorrow for you.

Lastly, something caught my attention while reading through the mail. I got to a particular sentence which states local laws. I remember vividly clear early this year or so when placed emphasis on the Nigeria government possibly engaging with all the Crypto exchange which Nigerians are likely patronising possibly demanding for KYC details to get records of Crypto transactions for further actions or engagements and here it I playing. Who knows what the government is up to this time around. There is every possibility that the government is doing this to start taxing crypto transactions. Onset from the very first day the federal government lifted ban on Bitcoin transaction, I knew they were up to something this time around and gradually it has started unveiling itself. Let us watch and see how it goes.
318  Economy / Gambling / Re: kekw.bet - No KYC No sign up Prediction market gambling on: February 21, 2024, 04:17:57 PM
Welcome to bitcointalk platform. I see you will have to do a good work on your announcement thread as it does not connote any signs of professionalism. Just as you have already been advised, you will have to do the need because first approach matters here as that would be the face you get from members here.
Lastly, I visited your website and discovered that you only focused on accepting other coin leaving Bitcoin out of your plans. Well I would like you to know that majority of the gamblers here mostly prefer to use Bitcoin so in that case if you can, do well to include Bitcoin in your list of acceptable currencies for payment otherwise you would likely lose out as members would likely not think of your project or casino because nobody wants to waste their time these days.
319  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you feel excited while gambling on: February 21, 2024, 01:18:27 PM
This is a very good point you have raised OP. Most times, my friend do complains to me about something of this nature and the  experience  sometimes is just not worth it. He tells me sometimes he  begin to feel that he waste his time, energy and Money just to gamble and in some cases, he feels luck is something one should appeal to work in their favour before they win but I had to tell him that it is not as he thinks but however he has to follow the basic gambling principles so as not to get worried wether he wins or not. I advised him to see gambling as a thing of fun and do away with the reasoning of gambling to earn or make profit. It is true that in such case, one would like to win a game but in gambling, it is not so you either have your budget for gambling, gamble with the mindset of having fun and forget about the rest so that you do not get worried about winning and how much you have spent in the course of gambling.

I guess you should see it that way too so that you do not get yourself too worried about you winning a gamble or not. Just see it as fun and also gamble with funds you can afford to lose or make a budget for your gambling. I believe this settles it.
320  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Couple won the jackpot but split soon after! on: February 21, 2024, 12:55:58 PM
I was wondering if they are truly in love with each other because if they do, money can not separate both of them just like that. This is why it is advised you marry who you Love so that nothing can come in between you and your partner no matter what happens, there would always be a peaceful resolve amongst both partners as long as they love each other.

This victory should be a thing worth the celebration for the couple's as far as it is concerned with victory. This should be a thing of joy for both of them as the money involved is worth it. In my country, that amount of money is so much big that you can live a luxurious life with investment scattered throughout while you relax and make your money as an your investment does the work for you. This should have been a merry moment for this coup but it has gone south for them.

Possibly, what must have caused this issue is as a result of one's input being bigger than the other which they might likely be having misunderstanding in the sharing formula and as such resulted to their splitting but that aside, there are possibly some issues which they must have been going through and have failed to address it properly before the win. Sometimes things just happens this way and both of them should accept it in fate and move on as they are likely not meant for each other.
