301  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin can fall up to $9k or rise up to $17k - which one will happen. on: August 24, 2020, 04:04:31 PM

The previous resistance is usually going to be the strongest support after the breakout, this $12k I think is a strong resistance for now. If it really will go up to $17K soon and drop. It might just be on the $9500-9700.

That's a huge gap, I'd probably expect the higher leap also when it goes back up when it once again break the $12K resistance but this is always going to be speculation that will condition our minds.
302  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Virtual trading before actual one - pros and cons on: August 24, 2020, 03:45:49 PM
Demo trading account will be good for training. There will be no pressure for you if you are just trying to experiment with an indicator that you are not used to. Its however very different when there is risk involve already like the real coins you have. Spot trading will just have the slightest risk.

The best that I did was to learn identifying the bottom in the weekly chart and start from there I guess there will be less risk in starting to trade from there and then move to a daily time frame.
303  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Oikos,Tron DeFi,Synthetic assets & trustless token exchange, alpha launch on: August 22, 2020, 04:51:56 PM

Polo still is a good exchange for TRON tokens, its one of the best for TRON tokens IMO because its been around for years and now has tons of improvements to it already.
Poloniex also doesn't ask KYC which makes it best for traders. It could be just me but there is more to Polo than hoo, biki and mxc combined because the yare agressively advertising this time than the ones that added OKS.
304  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: looking to the future of crypto on: August 21, 2020, 04:13:09 PM

Nothing has changed so far. There are still projects that's out to get every penny you have in your wallet including defi projects. But there is just one that is very special that could make it better even if you are a bounty hunter who will normally dump the tokens you get. This project is Uniswap.  Its like heaven for all whether you are a scammer or not. Defi projects though are pushing the prices up and with the halving effect, I guess we may be seeing good prices.
305  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Oikos,Tron DeFi,Synthetic assets & trustless token exchange, alpha launch on: August 20, 2020, 05:14:02 PM
as we know OKS is a TRC20 token. OKS is built on tron with good volume and is already listed on several famous exchanges but I am a little wonder? why OKS token is not listed on https://tronscan.io/#/exchange/trc20

can anyone explain this Huh
If oikos wants to be listed on polonidex, oikos must register it first, because not all TRC20 tokens will automatically go to the exchange. The system is the same as Binance DEX not all BEP tokens will be directly traded on Binance DEX.
It is not too difficult for Oikos to register there, because the support for Oikos is very extraordinary in the community, and I am sure Oikos will enter it easily, it's just that we wait a little patiently, definitely slowly climb up and the missions will slowly progress to success.

The problem is that Polo is owned by Justin Sun who was turned down by the OKS team upon the deal of doing the IEO on Polo. Justin spread information on twitter about OKS and not suported OKS when it launched its platform.

Today we can see Defi projects listed on Polo and the exchange did a good advetitsing on facebook. Polo is becoming good actually so i hope Oikos team can do something.
306  Economy / Economics / Re: What Role Will Crypto Play During ‘The Great Reset?’ on: August 20, 2020, 04:50:28 PM

Don't you think the article will lead to concluding that Bitcoin is created by the government for the purpose of this Great Reset you are talking about?
I haven't really thought that far enough that there will be reset and new format and a new nation will be dominant but whatever this reset is. The future will be bright for those who have crypto assets on their wallets.

307  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin ETF by 2nd quarter of 2021? on: August 19, 2020, 06:39:09 PM
The consideration in the past years and during the bear market just died and now the talks about ETF have again resurfaced while its now almost in the bull trend. While its will be great to have ETF approved, its best not to expect or just be disappointed over again. If it's going to be reconsidered, I think they will just approve a lot of crypto ETFs at once.
308  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Stablecoin Halving on: August 19, 2020, 05:53:40 PM

Stablecoins are not generated through mining. I wonder though if there are. I'm not familiar with all the projects in blockchain.

Havling is done to manage the coins economy. Stablecoin doesn't need economy management since its already stable no matter how much is its supply is, the price of stablecoin like USDT will still be $1.

309  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How long does it take for an order to complete? on: August 18, 2020, 07:02:49 PM

Since the trend of exchange native tokens bittrex has lost its popularity because people started going to binance due to the transaction fee reason. Most of the traders want to save satoshis. If they can pay BNB for the transaction fee and keep the satoshis instead the better for the traders.

For OP, I think you should just pick an order, market order to fill it all. At least you can just set a sell order for the next spike.
310  Economy / Economics / Re: What brings economy of a country down. on: August 18, 2020, 04:42:41 PM

The kind of government has a lot to do when the economy succeeds or fails. When your government asks too much taxes from the companies doing business in the country and the labor cost is higher than of China, these companies will move to China or any other country like Indonesia or India where labor cost will be much lower and the taxes are enough for the companies to profit.

311  Economy / Economics / Re: Fixed amount vs. infinite coins on: August 17, 2020, 09:02:45 PM

The number of cryptocurrencies listed on CMC and the supply they have must have been more than enough for the 8B people in the world though. There are tokens thats more than 100B and there are infinite supply like ETH. Not all of these tokens are going to be used widely though. Fixed amount however isn't a problem. In the case of BTC is that 1BTC has 8 decimals which we can send by a fraction.
312  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: blockchain sending limit ? on: August 17, 2020, 08:49:28 PM
Of course, this happens because of the fees. When you transfer, you have to pay some fees, which are automatically deducted from the amount. You have to use the fees button in order to reduce the fees to a minimum, it may be about $ 1, but you have to be careful not to reduce the fees too much because this will make your transaction stuck in the network due to the low fees.

The transaction fee seems low than other wallets actually. It's an online wallet though that many will not try using for its safety. The monent I learned that people are not using this wallet because of its security and we have no control over our funds, I then move to another wallet.
I have used a blockchain.com wallet in the past which I completely forgot the password. But I didn't know we can adjust its fees.
313  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [Curve DAO Token] Be careful with this project lost ~0.17BTC ~ $2000 trading it. on: August 16, 2020, 04:31:07 PM

Its stil the first 3 days of its trading though, I guess there will really be a big dump, it normally happen but I don't see this CRV token to be really risky in times where the market is getting good. But sionce you already have exited, you may wanna buy back when you think its hitting the bottom.
We can't set up forecast yet since its not listed on tradingview yet  Grin
314  Economy / Economics / Re: Are there any investment websites that accept bitcoin? on: August 14, 2020, 05:10:04 PM

Stocks are regulated by the SEC, its definitely required to submit your details to the broker. There are people who uses dummy when it comes to stocks, I'm not sure if its going to be an option for you but will be risky. I have seen rich people caught doing it on the news.

But since you are so concern about privacy, crypto is sure for you. Why intend to go invest on stocks when you can invest on crypto projects which you can completely skip KYC.
315  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: (DEFI) YAM! YAM! YAM! a scam? on: August 13, 2020, 03:18:56 PM

You can just see how cruel the market is when a project use to have a price of more than $160+ then suddenly dips down to $0.99.  How much loss you'd have if you invested fro mthe beginning of it.

Not sure if this is a scam but its going to be difficult to recover back even if the team solves the bug is short time. There is the need for trust rebuilding before it could happen.
316  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [Defi] Vesta Protocol - UniSwap Liquidity Solution on: August 13, 2020, 01:58:18 PM

You still can't be sure of those Vesta team names there in their AMA but the partnership seem good to watch out. I wouldn't really mind if they are anon as long as they can provide positive partnership with legit projects. Blocktalks and Blockchain Infinity I guess will be part of this AMA. I was also skeptical with DIA Data when they first appear here but with thier AMA clearing up the air, it did help investors see the potentials.
317  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I have Good advice for investors on: August 12, 2020, 04:11:16 PM

A piece of advice I got from someone who also experienced the same thing is that, if you are not learning to trade well then just invest and hold. You don't need to do anything else but wait. But at least try investing to a project that had been proven to be rising up such as Bitcoin. You don't have to participate in accumulating thru the spot nor margin trading.
318  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it the new crypto scam hiding in wait? on: August 12, 2020, 03:28:06 PM
right now most hype project is defi project. it's new so maybe there will be a scam soon. I will suggest people before they get into any project verified it so you don't lose money.

New concept in the crypto wil lalways be abused by the scammers. There are already defi projects that was stopped in the altcoin threads because of their suspicious activity and plagairism. There could be a defi project that is right now already gaining trust but will eventually turn scam in the end.

Wow, this is a pretty good theory about whales manipulation right now. I am also wondering about the new trends in the crypto market. Now the financial markets in many places are in chaos and do not know where to go, while the crypto market is constantly creating new trends to attract investors' capital. Besides, Defi is only one solution in borrowing and in fact it does not have a good impact on the economy. We also have banks that reduce lending rates, so why do people need Defi? I think this is just the fomo and the whales are doing the trick there. be careful.

Defi is not just for lending. ITs also for trading, its where Margin trading is possible without KYC.
319  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Russia plan to use untested vaccine against the coronavirus on: August 12, 2020, 02:58:37 PM
Vaccines are the pipe dream. They kill and maim people just to enrich the pharma companies. Anyone who injects poison and disease into a healthy kid under the age of 5 should be locked up. Kids need to be exposed to millions of viruses and germs to build strong immune systems. We've evolved to handle it, so don't screw it up to give Bill Gates a few more billions.

How can a baby without an immune system benefit from having disease injected into it?

Somehow I believe kids are to be expose to bacterias for immune system to know how to protect the body but there are just vaccines that works and very needed for a person like the polio vaccine so a person won't end up with disabilities. We can't just put our trust to the quack doctors we use to believe. There are no shamans in new generations and they are just not familiar with what the shamans know centuries ago.
320  Economy / Economics / Re: Are people losing faith from centralized organizations? on: August 11, 2020, 06:52:44 PM

People need money to support their needs, they'd be withdrawing their funds but if its the big savers who are withdrawing their funds, its going to be a different story. There are banks already saying they are filing bankruptcy and then their clients are now withdrawing their funds.

The ones who are not losing faith the centralize are often the big savers who felt like their government had stolen money from them after printing trillions.
