301  Economy / Reputation / Re: What happens if someone sells an account on a neighboring forum? on: February 05, 2024, 01:56:34 AM
People sell their accounts either to be used for fraud or to join signature campaigns. The campaign manager monitors the quality of signatures, and if he notices that the account has been sold, he may not include it in the signature campaign. The same applies to trust. It is true that in the other forum there is no trust system, but your gaining trust there is because They trust you here. If you are no longer trusted here, they will not trust you there, and therefore everyone who wants to do business with you there will send a message to you here to verify that you are the same person.
302  Economy / Marketplace / Re: need flash btc for legal work on: February 02, 2024, 02:10:17 AM
By flash BTC, do you mean sending transactions with zero confirmations in an attempt to defraud someone? Withdrawing from Binance comes with high fees that are often confirmed quickly, so this cannot be done and no one should accept Bitcoin transactions with zero confirmations.
303  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Beware of Crypto.com (difficulties cancelling debit card) on: February 02, 2024, 02:00:14 AM
These services try to save money by using AI in the support team and hiring fewer people, which results in a bad experience that ends up leading to long waits and duplicate responses. It seems that they do not want you to cancel the card, so stop using it and it will expire soon.
If you read some responses to similar problems, you will find that some of them were solved after more than 8 months.
https://www.reddit.com/r/Crypto_com/comments/182jht0/support_not_answering/

Pressure on Reddit about the support team's delay may force them to hire more, especially if they receive a lot of complaints.
304  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: I created BitMan, gifting it to those who have contributed to Bitcoin. on: February 02, 2024, 01:12:23 AM
The advantage of NFTs is that some developers may prefer to remain anonymous, so physical collectibles may lead to revealing even a small part of their identity. NFTs will be a good alternative, but some may not like the idea.

Choose a list where the community can vote on it, or do you just go through the requests and have an internal selection?
305  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: No KYC Crypto Trading Platforms on: February 02, 2024, 01:04:26 AM
I’ve asked this question countless times and so have other members – how do you guys come across sites that are barely even up to a month old?
Most likely, part of the fraud will be either directly (the scammer) or indirectly, as these services promise profits if you promote the service.
The promises that services make in exchange for what users will receive are what determine whether they are a scam or not.

Also could you explain how someone could be scammed on this website? While there's no minimum deposit and you can deposit 1$ even to try ?

You do not need to make a deposit to prove that the service is a scam. If the service looks scam and acts like scammers, it is a scam.
There is no incentive to force anyone to try the service. Even if it is not a scam, the site is not attractive for deposits.
306  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do You know trading style that's named - Social trading ? on: February 02, 2024, 12:43:25 AM
There are many names, but the concept is the same, which is to trust the analysis of a third party and take it as a basis for trading, so that it is copied, repeated, or modified consistently and without change by the trader, so that instead of the trader using a robot to automate trading, he turns into a robot that repeats a specific shape according to a specific rule.

This type of trading will not succeed in achieving profits in the long term, and its data cannot be available to everyone, because in short, it is like finding a site, deposit one dollar and we will return it to you for two dollars, and it is all fraud.
If you do not modify and customize your trading experience, then most likely trading is not for you.
307  Economy / Services / Re: Exodus Add-On for Privacy Lovers on: February 02, 2024, 12:34:04 AM
In addition, using exchange for privacy can't be categorized as CoinJoin or mixer.
Although this is true, the forum definition of a mixer does not say that. The service above can be considered a mixer because it falls under this condition.

    d. If the site internally converts your deposit into other things as part of its mixing, but ultimately the point of the product is to get your original type of property back, then that's a mixer, not an exchanger.

That’s true and you’re completely right. I will update the post, thanks.
I have a question why Exodus specifically, the wallet is closed source, but I assume it works similarly to most cryptocurrencies wallets, so why doesn't your Add-On work with all wallets?
If you do something with Electrum, the result will be good and you may get good downloads.
308  Economy / Services / Re: Exodus Add-On for Privacy Lovers on: February 01, 2024, 05:21:57 AM
I have used ChangeNow for 2 years but I didn't noticed it was marked as a scam, FixedFloat can require KYC but for fraudulent transactions also known as Blacklisted on EtherScan/BscScan/PolygonScan but if it's a problem I can change the platform to one that doesn't require KYC.

The Add-on has been made for Privacy & being anonymous while using crypto, I am selling it but I am willing to offer a trial so if anyone is interested on it or just want to test how is the feeling of being anonymous on crypto world are welcome

Your experience with them may be good, but this does not negate the fact that they are doing Selective scammimg, claims to be anonymous, and asks for KYC. BTT trust here is bad, and if you dig deeper, you will find more topics.

[SCAM EXCHANGE] CHANGENOW.IO trying to steal my 3 BTC
ChangeNOW is a SCAM exchange that has been illegally holding my 1.38M Zilliqa
ChangeNow.io (Evercode Lab) - Scam. Illegally holding of 100 BCH (11 bitcoins).

I know this, but since you depend on third-party services, it is better to explain this to customers or use the API for other exchange services.
309  Other / Meta / Re: If I'm Satoshi Nakamoto How do I prove it? on: February 01, 2024, 05:14:58 AM
What is your motivation for these questions? This is the fourth time you asking about something related to Satoshi and you have not responded to the answers. You will not be able to know anything about Satoshi with information available to everyone, and hidden information will be paid. If anyone was able to determine Satoshi's identity, he would be famous.
310  Economy / Exchanges / Re: 🟦BitChanger - The best place to exchange Crypto on: February 01, 2024, 04:58:51 AM

I also tried to search for these two founders in any SERP available but it showed different faces. This means these two founders are fake or are we looking for two ghosts that can't be found here on the internet?

These photos have been modified to make it difficult to find their identity. If the project was for Anonymous developers, they would use avatars. They use them to hide the fact that they are fake photos.

Also, what's the difference between fixed and floating? And why can't I opt for a fixed exchange rate? It seems your platform is still under construction. You might want to finish it first before launching it.
They try to make everyone happy by using as many terms as possible.
311  Economy / Services / Re: Exodus Add-On for Privacy Lovers on: February 01, 2024, 04:12:04 AM
Personally, I think the crypto must be decentralized, anonymous and not-tracked as Bitcoin Core,

BitcoinCore is Not a cryptocurrency but a wallet.

No, we only create the order from FixedFloat and ChangeNow (Which Order ID, can be verified on respectives sites) and show you the input address, amount and output address.

ChangeNOW have a history of forum scam topics and cannot be trusted.
What you are trying to advertise is a mixing service, and instead of a website, it is Add-On. If you include a link to the add-on, the topic will be deleted and you may be banned.

FixedFloat and ChangeNow can freeze transactions and request KYC.
312  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Any Genuine Arbitrage Bot ? on: February 01, 2024, 03:56:35 AM

Again, you should not believe so much in what you see on social media. Many had been deceived by that, money has been wasted too. It was not as much as this when I started but even then, that is how they will be making mouth, but the programs will still not work.
If you search for trading bots or Bitcoin profit strategies, thousands of videos will appear to you with some Python links or applications and make you think that arbitrage trading is a simple and profitable thing, but the truth is that they are scamming you.
Most bots are not real and some of them modify the UI to make you think they are making profits.
313  Economy / Economics / Re: Tech Layoffs on: February 01, 2024, 03:48:17 AM
I guess it's normal.

Although I never own a startup, but my assumption is when the startup got bigger and bigger until it become really popular and can sustain without need to take care the micro task, it's when the entry level jobs aren't important anymore.

In that level, a big company needs senior research and development, marketing and sales.
In the past, establishing companies was difficult and unsuccessful on average, and it still is so, but social media highlighted success to the point that everyone thought it was easy, and financing policies, buying back shares, and manipulating the number of employees are all things that helped accelerate the growth of companies in a short period.

however whats been seen now is those in remote working, outsource their own work tasks to freelancers in lower paid countries. and the domestic employee then requests more work tasks to then outsource more work to lower income countries to be freelancers of the employee.
meaning the domestic employment of remote workers drop because managers see one worker achieving multiples of work tasks
thus taking work away from the domestic remote working market, due to outsourcing work to AI or lower paid countries

This may include tasks that anyone, even with little experience, can perform, but outsourcing may not be appropriate for most remote work sources and will not significantly change employment numbers.
314  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Google Updates policy allowing bitcoin and crypto assets trust to be advertised. on: January 31, 2024, 03:46:51 AM

Hasn't google lifted the crypto ban on their ads couple of years ago? and from what it looks like, this policy update seems to be about "Cryptocurrency Coin Trust".

I also thought so. Advertisements have been allowed since 2021. Google lifts crypto advertising ban since that time, but reading the details of that news, the permission is related to the United States.

Quote
In a long-awaited reversal of a 2018 policy decision, Google will allow crypto exchanges and wallets to advertise on its platform in the U.S. But not everyone’s happy.

https://forkast.news/google-lifts-crypto-advertising-ban/

I see Crypto ads in search results even though my IP address is not in the United States, so the ban may be lifted gradually and now globally.
315  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Any Genuine Arbitrage Bot ? on: January 31, 2024, 03:37:50 AM
Without customizing things like available crypto exchanges in your country, deposit & withdrawal fees and trading volumes, choosing a trading bot will not increase your profits and may be impossible to achieve manually.

Try using https://gunthy.org with gunbot, but instead of trading BTC / USDT BTC, arbitrage on altcoins pairs. This method is dangerous and high-risk, but it can provide better results compared to BTC / USDT BTC. You just need to have sufficient experience.
316  Economy / Economics / Re: Tech Layoffs on: January 31, 2024, 02:56:00 AM
Tech Layoffs linked to the significant expansion of these services after the Corona pandemic and the return of life to normal, we can return to the data of 2020 and 2021 to know the size of the growth.

These companies try to reduce non-core workers because they can be easily hired, but it is rare for them to fire core developers and security staff.

Looking at the layoffs data is wrong, in contrast, these companies expanded in hiring more.

317  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Always Make use of notepad app before posting on: January 31, 2024, 02:45:26 AM
with Auto-Save posts to drafts Userscript, you do not need to use the Notepad app, as you will return to find all the past edits fortunately, unless you decide to write a long thread with a detailed explanation of some concepts, then you can rely on some third-party applications for formatting, but remember that some bbcode may not work in the forum, so it is better to click on Preview before posting.
318  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Seeking a Partner for the Project on: January 31, 2024, 01:45:36 AM
Talkethereum.org
It is bad that I see “You can advertise here” at the top of the list and the number of topics is 86 at best and the views are less than 1000. You need to create content first before thinking about selling advertising space.
First, add https://. It is not possible for a professional forum to be http://.
Develop content, invite popular accounts to join, find a team to promote your site, or sell that domain name.
319  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Rate at which p2p merchant are frauding people are high - always be vigillant on: January 30, 2024, 06:04:01 PM
Give that scammer negative trust and send a screenshot of the conversation to the support team, and I am sure that they will stand with you and may ban the account if it violates their terms of use. I focus on negative trust and how the seller deals with it more than positive trust. If he has 100 positives and 5 negatives but responds to them well is better than 1000 with 5 negative reviews without responding to them.
320  Economy / Speculation / Re: Was Bitcoin ETF really a good thing for growth of crypto and Bitcoin prices? on: January 30, 2024, 05:54:39 PM
With or without an ETF, Bitcoin adoption will increase at a good pace, but with an ETF, that pace will be accelerated. We already have ETFs that have been approved in the past, but everything has negative aspects, the most important of which is that more Bitcoin will be transferred to institutional funds, which are central authorities, and some will view Bitcoin as an investment and stock instead of a means. Payments eliminate the need for a third party. ETFs are bad in terms of Bitcoin's philosophy but could push adoption and prices higher.
