301  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I found the meme coins SEC they review projects before it will get posted on: April 18, 2024, 08:57:35 AM
My 2 cent avoid any telegram channel that act as if they are guiding their user to be come millionaire in crypto. You have 43 members in that channel and only admin is posting about new meme coins. Almost everyone that are listed in that channel lacks liquidity which is a red flag. If I need to search meme coins I would prefer X.com than a telegram channel.
302  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Problems with BRC-20 Tokens on Trust Wallet on: April 18, 2024, 08:48:32 AM
If Trust wallet supports BRC 20 tokens and as you say you can see them on the blockchain then definitely you have not added the token details correctly on your trust wallet. There cannot be anything other than not being able to add custom token in the wallet. If you have added it correctly according to you then I would recommend that you ask your question from the trust wallet community //t.me/trustwallet
303  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Our project is about to release an app, and a naming event is in progress. on: April 18, 2024, 07:46:37 AM
Okay, you created an app to streamline the donation process but why would anyone use your app for donation or raising money? Anyone who wants to donate to an organization can do it by using their website. To raise money for any noble cause, many trusted platforms can be used to do it. Above all, I hardly understand that after creating the app you want us to name your app, and you would like to reward us. This sounds so much not right and I suspect that it is a way to gather information from users for something big which I suspect is a scam.
304  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Market seems in correction mood on: April 18, 2024, 04:04:00 AM
Start of this year, makes people happy cause crypto market started non-stop pumping where altcoins also goes expensive and some altcoins were out of range to buy. But from today, it seems market enter into correction mood where altcoins dump 15% to 40% including Bitcoin. This is a heavy dump of market and we don't know where it'll stopped.
Is it natural Or it could be cause of bitcoin having which is going to start a week later. What's your opinion?? Some people mark Iran attack isreal issue as responsible of this current market situation
Correction is always good for the market and it does help the market reach new high. Bitcoin dues to ETF created a new ATH earlier this year after that it was expected that a correction will happen. Before halving you can check the historic data that Bitcoin does goes through a major correction but this big dip is also due to the sudden war like situation between Israel and Iran. If Israel now retaliate then another major dip can happen.
305  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum Price Predictions? Predict the new ATH! on: April 18, 2024, 03:59:14 AM
Hong Kong's Securities and Futures Commission (SFC) approved spot exchange-traded funds (ETFs) for Bitcoin and Ethereum on April 15, approving applications from three major players: China Asset Management, Bosera Capital and HashKey Capital Limited. Details of the listing of these ETFs will be finalized with Hong Kong's HKEX and the products are expected to be launched by the end of this month. While the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has not approved similar funds for Ethereum, Hong Kong has taken a step forward by approving both products simultaneously. Therefore, the chances of spot exchange-traded funds being approved on Ethereum have increased significantly.
If this happens in the US, then according to forecasts, the price of Ethereum could well rise to $12,000.

But even on such positive news, the price of ETH continues to decline following Bitcoin. This once again confirms the fact that a coin with such a large capitalization as ETH cannot move against the market.

Ethereum did go below $3000 earlier today which doesn't show that the news had any positive impact on it. As Bitcoin keeps on bleeding so does the entire crypto market and Ethereum is no exception. I think after halving event Bitcoin might go into the green zone, if the tensions in the Middle East do not escalate.
306  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: WIF was a good memecoin, any other about to go up? on: April 17, 2024, 08:53:06 AM
If everyone knew which meme coin could have done better then everyone would have been rich. Meme coins are currently ruling the market and the narrative might not end anytime soon. I think $WIF for now has out performed itself this year and should start falling in the current market as all coins are falling. I think if anyone is okay with the risk then it is right time to get your bags full of it.
307  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 100% percent scam airdrop don't get involved. on: April 17, 2024, 07:39:48 AM
With Bull season such scams are common as everyone wants a piece of the pie. Only very few airdrops are legit and those which are legit will need the user to do some activities. Airdrops are not free anymore as a user needs to invest both money and time to be part of it. There was a time when they used to be free but users were asked to do a few task for getting a $5 airdrop and sometime less than that amount.
308  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Israel vs Iran - Will this limit the coming bull run? on: April 17, 2024, 07:34:47 AM
For me I think both halving and the escalation of the war are the reason why Bitcoin price dip. If Israel hits back then we will see another big dip because that region is crucial for energy for many countries. The halving event is going to happen most probably by the 20th after that we might see a recovery if the war doesn't escalate otherwise we might see Bitcoin going to 50k level.
309  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Solana Shatters Records: Over 2000 TPS Achieved! on: April 17, 2024, 07:20:44 AM
I think Solana should work on network congestion as it has now become quite common. I was trying to transfer USDT from my Binance account to another exchange and I saw that Solana network was congested. I checked today again and found it is still showing congested. TPS in such a scenario won't be helpful and would not come as a USP for the network.

311  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading is not a lifetime job. on: April 14, 2024, 10:34:40 AM

 3. Trust issue due to Scam growth - traders never find it safe to use exchanges, even big exchanges.

What do you mean by trust issue? Are you referring to an exchange or a scam crypto project. I agree trading is stressful but there are many applications to help trader reduce that stress. Crypto exchanges work 24/7 unlike stock exchange that is why a crypto trader can make trade for certain duration as it is not possible for anyone to sit infront of the terminal 24 hours.
312  Local / India / Re: KuCoin becomes first FIU compliant global crypto exchange on: April 14, 2024, 09:04:01 AM
This will be good until and unless you are trading in smaller funds and once you start using huge funds then you will be in trouble because now the government can ask the exchanges to furnish details like the source of fund and all. Bitcoin was created to avoid all these government and third party intervention but we are going back against the logic and I think people need to understand it's the government which has won not us. Be ready for more troubles and letters by the IT department and get ready to justify your source of income which you have invested or traded.

It shouldn't be an issue justifying the source of income as long as you haven't done anything wrong and you are paying taxes on your profits.
I know bitcoin was mean to be used for P2P transactions and not involve any banks or governments but things have taken a turn.
Now that the government is allowing to trade cryptocurrencies, we should do our due diligence to pay the taxes for it and not get involved in any illicit activities.

I have come across a few post where local exchanges are now sending letters asking for the source of the crypto. This kind of fiddling can be expected by Kucoin. Another issue is that TDS has to be calculated & paid by the user as the Kucoin exchange doesn't provide it like local exchanges do whenever a trade is initiated.
313  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Have you tried Pre-Market Trading? on: April 14, 2024, 08:59:39 AM
Which exchange is offering pre market trading? I haven't come across one. Pre market trading will be only beneficial if the token has the hype in the market. Buying at your set price will give good returns after the token gets listed. But, it can be high risky as there have been instances in the past where hype was created falsely and as soon as the token is listed it gets dump.
314  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Simple practices to improve trading (2). on: April 14, 2024, 08:53:13 AM
Stop day trading, it may look opposite of what you are trying to accomplish but this is the fact that most day traders end up making no profits or being in net loss over the period of time so they did all for nothing while doing long term trading can help them to realise the importance of taking advantage of market dips.

Day trading is risky but it doesn't mean every day trader end up making loss. The simple rule is everyone who trades will not always make profits they will suffer loss. With experience and understanding of charts day traders do make profit and sometimes it is more than they expected.
315  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is Solana still Worth buying?? on: April 14, 2024, 07:48:09 AM
As Bitcoin continues to fall so does the altcoins. Solana like other altcoins have been in red and today it is price is hovering around $143. Yesterday it was around $150 and looking at the other altcoins it hasn't gone down so much. It is still at a price point which is good for anyone to take a position. Current global situation might drag its price to go further down but as always it will recover as soon as Bitcoin starts recovering.
316  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Solana - worth it in 2024? on: April 14, 2024, 06:58:38 AM
Before these airdrops and meme coins came in Solana, the coin is already popular because it has a good background. They are like a bonus only for those who believe on the coin's potential, especially during their darkest times. Not all loves airdrops because they are not lucky to get rewarded and even if they do, they are not satisfied with it.

Also, airdops are from tokens under Solana and not the coin itself, so it's not the one that they will be buying. Meme coins on the other hand, have no real direction, so it's kinda odd if we call them successful. Solana already proved its worth over the years, so it's definitely one of those cryptos which are a must-buy.

For the whole of 2023, SOL price hovered around $16 to $26.  Everything changed when a couple of projects within its ecosystem announced airdrop and after that, there were a few meme coins that took off which caused the hype. This is not the first time they got such hype it happened before 2021 due to which in 2021 it got a new ATH. I am not against SOL but I think it is now an overhyped project and since the hype is due to the projects that are using its ecosystem that is why the price went up. Just a reminder the SOL token is the fuel that is required to use its blockchain.
317  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is LTC dead? on: April 14, 2024, 06:40:31 AM
Once, Litecoin was a very famous coin and it was called "Digital Silver".
But nowadays, very few people talk about Litecoin anymore.

Is Litecoin dead in your opinion?
Ranked 20th coin on CMC, how can you conclude that Litecoin is dead? If people are not talking about it that doesn't mean it is losing its big community. People still prefer using it for payments as it has good speed and fewer transaction fees. With the speculation of a Litecoin ETF getting approved, we recently saw a surge in its price also due to the short bull run. For now, it is one of the cryptocurrencies that should be on the list of any intelligent investors.
318  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Rethinking Memecoins: A Potential Gateway for New Investors? on: April 14, 2024, 06:17:17 AM
While I haven’t personally tried investing in Memecoins, my friends often ask me for advice on where to put their money in the crypto world. I usually suggest sticking to popular ones like BTC, ETH, and ETC. But some friends still go for Memecoins, even though many people think they’re not worth much.

Why suggest ETC? It is no more a crypto to invest and wait for a good return. In place of it you could ask them to look into LTC or BNB, the choice is still yours. The meme coin phase is here to stay and investment in meme coins can get you rekt.

After a few weeks, I started receiving messages and calls from these friends, sharing their successes with Memecoins. One friend even made a nice sum of money trading ROOST, experiencing what seemed like beginner's luck. He then wisely diversified his investments, putting some money into more serious projects and continuing to dabble in other Memecoins. Despite my initial skepticism, I've seen some progress.

Be open to new market narratives and try to use them for your benefit like your friend did. Do remember that the whole crypto industry is full of risk and investment in the wrong crypto can lead to loss. Do your research before investing.

319  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to Approach Alt-Coins in This Israel-Iran Pretended War News? on: April 14, 2024, 06:09:11 AM
So everyone is apparently freaking out, selling their bags over a potential conflict between Israel and Iran. Been around long enough in life to know that these two countries always do a lot of chest beating and always come out from the other end with whimpers. In the meantime, the markets, even outside of crypto, react like idiots, and there lies opportunities for the rest of us.

Iran has attacked Israel and this time there is no chest beating. Iran launches hundreds of missiles, drones in first direct attack on Israel

I am a bit shock to see how poorly Alt-coins are reacting today (last 6 hours) with this news. I get it that the crypto community acts on their emotional instincts but holy cow! I entered crypto during the last crypto winter, so I have a better understanding of what it's like and how to react next time around, but given that we are going into the bull market, I am experimenting how crypto market reacts to events like this too.

Altcoins always react poorly whenever Bitcoin goes into the red zone. This is nothing new as this has happened in the past but this might be the first time that the crypto market is reacting to this war like the global stock market.

MATIC Polygon: -50% down from the recent high; close to the bottom since last Oct. I had high hopes for MATIC, but it's just not pumping like Alt-coins, so not super excited about shifting my account to MATIC anymore.
ALGO Algorand: -100% down from the recent high; around the lows hit in Feb; this looks promising but not a huge fan; still considering it
ATOM Cosmo: -80% down from the recent high; in par with the lows in Nov, but 20% to go since the lows in last Oct; good long wavy formation. I might consider it
AVAX Avalanche: -90% down from the recent high; close to lows from Jan; needs another 25% from Nov lows; Avalanche has never been good to me. I think I'll pass for this round too.
DOT Polkadot: -85% down from the recent high; almost passed from Jan lows; 15% to go to reach the lows in Nov; like Avalanche all of a sudden it became a rising giant. Not too sure about it, but it looks like a safer bet than others.
AAVE Aave: -84% down from the recent high; almost passing the lows set back in Oct; lots of saw pattern with no discernible pump
GRT Graph: -100% down from the recent high; still 30% north of the most recent support back in Jan-Feb; I am considering Graph as my top choice due to the last run being too good to me
AXS Axis Infinity: -85% down from the recent high; 10% to go to reach the lows back in Feb; don't know much about it.
COMP Compound: -87% down from the recent high; 5% left to hit the support reached back in Jan; a lot of steady side way movement... I need volatility
CRV Curve: -105% down from the recent high; has reached the support hit back in Oct; love the volatility of Curve, so this is one of my top choices for this round.
DOGE Dogecoin: -50% down from the recent high; 10% to the lows in March; 40% left to the lows in Feb; Dogecoin didn't dip too much recently, and I am wondering why?
FLOW Flow: -88% down from the recent high; 20% left to hit the support reached back in Feb; just don't know much about it to make the decision
GALA Gala: -105% down from the recent high; reached the support hit back in March; 47% left to reach the lows hit back in Feb; this one was super depressed for a long time, and only showed signs of life just recently, so not too sure about it
HBAR Hedera: -77% down from the recent high; 10% left to the lows hit in Feb
MANA Decentraland: -85% down from the recent high; has reached the support hit back in Feb; don't know much about it, so I think I'll stay away from it for now.
SAND Sandbox: -90% down from the recent high; surpassed Feb or Dec lows; 10% to hit Nov lows; don't know much about it, so I think I'll stay away from it for now.
SHIB Shiba: -77% down from the recent high; 50% left to reach the lows in Feb
SOL Solana: -50% down from the recent high; 25% left to reach the lows in Feb; Solana has performed beautifully, but how much gas does it left in its tank for short term pump? Not too sure.
SUSHI Sushi: -125% down from the recent high; hitting the support reached back in Nov; what is up with SUSHI? Lots of steady side ways, then a pump, then another steady side way movement, then a pump. I am considering it.
UNI Uniswap: -132% down from the recent high; 10% left to reach the lows in Feb; with the recent U.S. government going after them, I don't think I want to risk it with them

Wait for more bloodshed in the crypto market, this situation will escalate and we might be seeing a big war in the making. I do not think you should presume that the market will recover soon.
