What happened to Napoli? have they risen from their ashes? Did they wake up from lethargy? Did the new coach give him a magical potion? Incredibly they are winning 1-6 against Sassuolo who unfortunately is not going through a good moment and fight not to retreat in Serie B
Looks like a new Napoli is here, The Magic of Calzona...
It's great to have a team back with a high-scoring mentality.
Napoli has rediscovered its form and returned to competitive
and winning ways since the return of Osimhen from AFCON.  No Victor, No Napoli.
Sadly, he has no interest in this team and he already wants to leave at the end of the year.
Wow, incredible. Really, it's incredible.
I couldn't even believe that this was Napoli.
Is this just luck?? No, of course not.
This is how Napoli should be.
Can we hope even further so that Napoli can get better and continue like this?
Of course you can, and you can, but even if your expectations are not fulfilled then it's normal again.

But apart from all that, Napoli this time is truly extraordinary. Osimhen looks like Napoli's star again last season. And these 6 goals are the result of a very significant difference. This is one of Napoli's best match results this season. Thanks Calzona, at least you've got this off to a great start.

I was really surprised to see Napoli win Sassuolo with that high score margin considering the fact that Sassuolo scored first but it was as if the goal triggered Napoli to hammer Sassuolo more goals and kudos to Victor Osimhen for scoring hat trick in this game and now it seems that he has scored in all Napoli's game ever since he returned from the AFCON competition if I'm not mistaken and with his current performance now i think he would be a very hot cake for clubs that are targeting to sign him to their squad and the more his improving that's how his market value would also increase.
302  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Human capital development over infrastructural development. on: February 28, 2024, 08:25:12 AM
One of the major issue we have as a nation is that we rely more on building roads, bridges, fly overs and lots of infrastructural projects while neglecting the human that are the most important factor that if giving the needed attention will drive development to the nation better than these roads and bridges.

Most governor's will come in and one of the top agenda in thier plan is to link roads and build fly overs while neglecting  training of the citizens and thereby depending on external personal for most of the jobs that we should have been doing for ourselves.

Communities that play host to most oil companies prefer to get peanuts from these company rather than making it a major demand that thier citizens be trained and employed into meaningful positions in the firm. They will prefer to work as security personnel or handle a casual position while the company employs and pay huge amount of money to an external person to do the job we would have been trained to do.

If we fucose more on developing ourselves and depending more on ourselves for jobs in our nation, it will go a long way in reducing the rate of unemployment and dependence on external workforce to a very large extent.
brother Wetin you dy talk no be lie, our government no just reason that human development side, dem dy more concern with infrastructural development and mostly their pockets, but as an individual wey dy reason well, you no sopos wait for government for you to put your life in other, because if you wait for them, before you go realize, na poverty go dy knock on your door, so to me, wetin I go advice na for you to invest more in yourself, because no knowledge and investment in yourself is a waste, so anything wey you dy do, no forget say the best investment for this life, na the ones you do on yourself, so no go wait for government wey no get ur time oo.

Already me I dey always talk say no be disintegration wey we need for this country as the best way to make things right in this country is to invest in human capital development and resource control like make every state control wetin dey come out for the state den give revenue to the federal government I believe say if the states dem dey autonomous e go help each state develop on their own without depending on the federal government for it's development and e go bring dividends of democracy come closer to the people.

Wetin dey pain me for this country be say our government go say Dem wan invest on infrastructure but na those medium wey Dem dey use dey embezzle public funds all in the name say Dem dey build infrastructure.

Wetin you talk na true o about every individual sorting out ways to survive for we country but you also need to understand say if government no create a favourable and enabling ground for her citizen you go see say nothing wey person go do wey go get better head like that because if the government they give people loans to get capital to involve themselves for businesses wey go help Dem you go see say so many jobless people wey dey d street for don reduce and better still dey create platform wey go dey teach people about some business ideas wey go help and afterwards give Dem some capital to develop such business you go see say the economy go dey grow.
303  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Nigeria board sprint on: February 28, 2024, 08:00:43 AM
The activeness of the Nigerian local board can vividly be seen by all in the local board post race by @Rikafip and indeed I commend the efforts of Nigerian board members for the efforts they put together in achieving this result.

As the Nigeria local board is increasing rapidly, I solicit for more quality posters and users that can be more productive in the local board so that we can have a respectable and reputable recognition from the forum leaders better known as administrators.

I also want to use this medium to also thank the OP for giving us this recognition. One love my Naija people as together we will change the Narrative that we are not trustworthy people.
304  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2023/24 on: February 27, 2024, 10:56:05 PM
However great Girona was, including their win against Rayo Vallecano, it didn't make me change my mind to think that they would be the team that would win La Liga. Even at the start of the season I thought that Girona would not be able to finish in 2nd place. Because this season is still ongoing, I will see in what position Girona will end the season.

For this season, Girona's performance is extraordinary when compared to previous seasons as a team that easily takes points from its opponents. This season is 180 degrees different. Almost all teams were unable to take points from him except Real Madrid.
Looking at the current LaLiga standings up to Jornada 26, Real Madrid is still leading with a difference of six points from Girona, Girona managed to climb to second place after a landslide win against Rayo and Barcelona dropped to third place after second place was taken over by Girona again. Girona has indeed made a big surprise this season, no one expected to be in second place so far.

Whatever happens at the end of the season, what Michel does at Girona is worthy of applause. He deserves to qualify for the Champions League and even deserves to be in second place until the end of the season. Even though the match is still long and Girona will still meet Barcelona and Atletico Madrid, with the game and enthusiasm that Girona currently has, they will definitely be able to get through it perfectly.

Though the 6 points gap Real Madrid is topping the league with ahead of Girona looks far considering the fact that Real Madrid have been very resilient and determined in most of their matches but I feel Girona can still bounce back if they can forget about the flops they got in some of their recent past matches and be more focused and put in more energy in their upcoming matches so that they won't lose more matches again because regardless of the fact that Real Madrid have maintained a consistent form for quite some time now I feel there would come a time when fatigue will be affecting some of their key players as they still have some other competitions to attend to unlike Girona that doesn't have too many matches to play.
305  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling Wins: Your Money Was Returned to You. on: February 27, 2024, 10:24:14 PM
OP it actually depends how deep one has been in gambling and most gamblers doesn't keep records of their winnings and losses to know if actually the money they won is part of the ones they have lost in previous attempts to win but however, to me I feel that a consistent gambler who have been losing conspicuously may be recovering part of his losses although it depends on the amount that's being won because there is an amount that one would win that can actually supersede one's losses but inasmuch as most gamblers doesn't keep records of winnings and losses it would be very difficult to know whether your winnings are part of recovery of your losses.

The only thing I would believe is if casinos or gambling companies pay from people losses because there are some winnings that they normally pend so if they are paying from their pockets they would have done that immediately but instead some of them waits for people losses in the following weeks in other for them to pay winners with losers money.
306  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2023/24 Season on: February 27, 2024, 07:20:21 PM
For me personally, Bayern Munich still has a chance of qualifying for the quarter-finals, although in the second leg Bayern Munich must be able to turn things around . But ya, because Bayer Munich will also be playing at home in the second leg later, then I think Bayern Munich will be able to maximize theirchances to beating Lazio. After all, as long as Kane can still play then I think Bayern Munich is still in its best form because ya, Kane is Bayern Munich's goal machine this season . So ya, as long as Kane can still play from the starting lineup, I personally still believe that Bayern Munich will be able to score several goals in the second leg later and of course, the first leg is material for them to be even better in the second leg match.
In theory, Bayern Munich has a chance to catch up with Lazio goal deficit, with several advantages they have, including acting as hosts. I also think that Thomas Tuchel squad can score two goals, as a condition for qualifying for the quarter finals. In terms of squad depth, Bayern Munich has much better players than Lazio, if you could say Lazio was lucky in the first leg match at home. Thomas Tuchel has certainly learned from experience, and will change his game strategy to be able to beat the Serie A representatives.

Thomas Tuchel will certainly maximize the services of his expensive striker Harry Kane. If the ball supply flows smoothly, Harry Kane can ensure that every opportunity can be converted into a goal. Bayern Munich defense line is an area that Thomas Tuchel must pay close attention to, when Harry Kane scores a goal those guarding the back line must be able to maintain their lead. In my opinion, Lazio will play with a defensive strategy and rely on counter attacks, while Bayern Munich will play openly and attack, to pursue a safe point first.

I feel that Bayern Munich losing to Lazio in the first leg was just as a result of overconfidence from Bayern Munich because Bayern know quite well that they are stronger than Lazio so they just didn't apply much effort like that and considering the fact that Lazio was at home also gave them more confidence but I believe that Bayern Munich will retaliate the defeat when they meet in the returning leg at Bayern Munich home ground.

Basically, Harry Kane have been the goal scoring machine for Bayern Munich so it wouldn't be a surprise if he scores in their returning match against Lazio. If Lazio would have a chance of withstanding Bayern Munich's pressure then they have to play defensive attack because if they focus only in the defense alone they might be giving Bayern Munich the opportunity to always have the ball in their possession at their own half so being defensive and forward would help Lazio a little bit but obviously, I don't see Lazio having any chance of standing Bayern Munich.
307  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: February 27, 2024, 02:11:34 PM
Yet this game got started with quite a headstart, a 2 goals lead for West Ham after 7 minutes to then see Brentford close the gap with 1 goal. Quite an entertaining game and I wonder whether this is one of those matches that goes on like that and ends in a goalfest or whether this was it. I remember several games when it started as if it were to have like 10 goals, but then the result remained like that for the rest of the game.
I expect more goals in the game too. West Ham are under the pressure to score more goals because the game look very far from won for them and then Brentford coming from a goal behind are looking dangerous, and also know that the chances of the equalizing and winning this game is high for them with the confidence they have developed. If Westham loses this game after starting so well, even at home, it will be a big disgrace for the team that started very well, and for the coach.

I believed all this analysis was done during the first half but however, Westham showed resilience and determination to win Brentford and indeed they achieved their goals by winning 4:2 and it was really a fantastic night for J. Bowen as he scored a hat trick for his team Westham united.

Football is just somewhat very funny as to see that Brentford really dominated Westham and it looked as if they gonna be of advantage but it was obvious that Brentford was taking the possession while Westham was scoring the goals.

Brentford has now lost 3 matches consecutively and it doesn't go down well with the club though they are about 5 points above the relegation zone but if they will escape relegation then they need to work harder and try winning some of their upcoming matches in other for them to have a safe spot in the league table.
308  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: February 26, 2024, 09:04:47 PM
Aside from PSG, another club I think would be good for Osimhen is Arsenal. The kind of football Arsenal plays will favor Osimhen.
Arsenal play from both flanks and also from the middle. One thing strikers love is getting so much support from the flanks and the midfield. That means he's covered. All he needs to do is position properly and be able to build up play with the midfielders and wingers.

Though Arsenal is a world class team that any player would be glad to play for but I feel Arsenal isn't gonna go well for Victor Osimhen because his pattern of play and Arsenal doesn't match because Osimhen plays with too much energy whereas Arsenal pattern of play is just gradually and achieve their result so Victor Osimhen may not really adapt easily to Arsenal's play nature thereby he might be finding things difficult. Victor Osimhen deserves to play for teams like Manchester city or Liverpool as those are the clubs that would match up with the kind of energy he has and he can do very well in those clubs.
309  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is the highest amount of money you've ever bet in a single game? on: February 26, 2024, 04:53:09 PM
Hi guys, I don't know if something like this have been discussed here in the past, a thread a I previously commented on made me curious about this, so I decided to ask here.

It's a pretty forward and simple question, which is...
1. What is the highest amount of money you've bet on a single game in the past?
2. Did you win or lose that game?
3. Was it an amount you were actually ready to comfortably lose?

The highest amount I've played in a single bet is $150 and it was after I received a huge amount of money as pay-off for a construction company I worked for after the project was over and I lost the money but I didn't feel it as at that time because I had about $1000 in my account but it was when I almost exhausted the $1000 and I couldn't get any other job after then I started feeling so stupid for staking$150 at a single bet though I can't try that now as I've corrected some mistakes I made in the past because I normally play with the mentality that if I lose I would just take it like taking friends out for a drink and spend some whole lots of money.

You know sometimes, due to huge amount we have in our account some persons do use because of that and start staking huge with the mindset that they still have enough money left but as time goes on and you are losing conspicuously that's when you would know that staking huge is very bad especially when nothing is generating income for you as even if you have millions in your account you might finish everything while trying to win and cover up.
310  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Microstrategy’s X account gets hacked, $400k stolen through phishing scam on: February 26, 2024, 07:15:36 AM

2. Do not trust any information from social media even if it is from an influencer account or an official account, verify, verify and verify your information.

Just like what you said here about not trusting information from social media, I think you need to check a reliable source to back up this information you've just given and moreover, you can add up a link for people to access the information.

Edited:
This is the link to the story OP is talking about, for those who are yet to see or read it:
https://cointelegraph.com/news/microstrategy-x-account-hacked-phishing-scam

It's really unfortunate, that's the more reason why we need to verify information we see on social media thoroughly and don't be too desperate about any information from influencial people in the society because scammers can easily hack their accounts and defraud a large number of people.
X is becoming a reoccurring platform for scammers to use in defrauding people and this doesn't go down well with it's owner Elon musk.
311  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: The power of consistency, patience and perseverance . on: February 26, 2024, 06:37:23 AM
sometimes they might criticize your post , don't panic or feel bad just have it mind that it is a way to make you grow like them because when you are criticized you learn more.
When I was a newbie or didnt have a high rank, I am indeed always criticized and Ive got some bad mood about that but as time pass by, I realize that they helped me shape my posting habit to a more better approach. People should always accept if theres a mistake and learn from it cause it help you grow.

If a newbie lose his patience thats when he got some misdirection.

Of a truth there are times in life when the best time to learn is to receive criticism, disrespect and insults from people who are more knowledgeable and experienced than you because that's actually the time when you would know that you ain't doing things the right way and it would shape your mind to make more meaningful contributions.

In life, if people don't condemn you or say nasty things about you when you are going the wrong direction then you may not learn so quickly, however it is important for us to know that not all criticisms are meant to demean or underrate someone as most times, it makes one think more deeply and enhance their knowledge more towards bringing productive ideas.

"Patience is a stepping stone to Wisdom" so being patient enough at a time when you are not going the right direction is very important rather than feeling bad and hated by people. Being patient helps one to be at ease and eager to be open minded to more positive reality.
312  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: What if the naira currency takes its shape again on: February 25, 2024, 03:49:59 PM
I would be very happy if the naira normalize because their is no gain in it's devaluation in the first place because the more the naira devalues that's how inflation rises as the price of goods, commodities and services also tends to skyrocket so what's the need of earning in foreign currencies when we know quite well that we will still come back home to buy things at a higher price so there's actually no value in it so if I see that the naira have normalized today, I would be very happy.

Moreover, the poor people in the society are the one's feeling the great impact of this economic challenges we are facing because they earn very little and purchase things at a very high price.
313  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How will you feel if it happens to you just like this? on: February 24, 2024, 02:26:05 PM
People like those (me) who don't gamble for fun have this question to answer: how will you feel when you don't have money to stake a game that you predicted and better winning games you predicted played the way you predicted it and when you checked the winning was something that could have changed your life for ever if you didn't gambled again after such winning?

You see, I have found myself in this kind of situation before in sports betting when I predicted some games using my mobile phone though my own was that I was still booking the games when the events started and the matches I predicted where not listed on live betting and funny enough all the options I choosed for each event was first half outcome. Did you know that all played accordingly and I almost ran into emotional trauma and depression because this was literally a time when I needed this winning the most because I was going through financial constraints during that period and each day it kept appearing in my memory as through out that period I was so weak and always emotional but as time goes on it began to go off my mind but I have never forgotten that day till now and anytime I want to book sports betting I normally look at the time the events would start.

314  Other / Meta / Re: Demand for non-Telegram forum notifications? on: February 24, 2024, 06:42:34 AM
The Bitcointalk super notifier bot created by @ TryNinja have been of great help to forum members over the years as it has made navigating the forum very easy for users because most people ain't too stable or always online to monitor activities in the forum but through the help of the super notifier, it has made the forum more accessible to users over the years.

Just like the OP said, not every one uses telegram simply because some persons doesn't like the use of telegram or maybe their devices doesn't support the installation of telegram just like me, my mobile device doesn't support installation of telegram though I do get notifications through my email address but I think the telegram super notifier bot by TryNinja updates informations about the forum as quick as possible more than the use of email address so creating a website for users that doesn't use telegram to also be a beneficiary of this enhanced method of navigating the Bitcointalk forum would be a welcome development.

This news says chelsea was ready to targeting osimhen and kounde from barcelona.

https://www.goal.com/en/news/live/transfer-news-and-rumours-live/blt1ccfda38eda06d5a

I think that is a very nice movement for chelsea to target those guys. Chelsea has good midfielders but it has no good striker in the squad. It is true that the performance of two strikers, who are owned by Chelsea, fell short in terms of maximizing their potential and contributing to the club's scoring efforts.
There is also another problem that needs to be sorted out like selfishness owned by some players. I saw that how strikers were rarely getting the ball from the midfielders.

The key point from this transfer is now napoli is not yet performing so good in the serie a, this may also push osimhen t leave from the club in the summer transfer season. I dos upport him to join in the chelsea instead of stay much longer in the napoli.
Napoli needs to try even harder in keeping osimhen in the club. Chelsea may be coming with various offers for osimhen and i hope he will continue his career in the EPL next season.

I prefer to see osimhen to join in the english premier league instead of stay in napoli. Osimhen has reached his peak last season but consiscency is the main problem for him. Let him to develop his performance even further by joining in the stronger team than napoli.

With the current performance of victor Osimhen now, it is possible that a lot of big teams would be hunting for the player but sometimes, a players best performance can be in a particular club so if he still chooses to remain at Napoli then it's fine then if he decides to move to the premier league side it would also be a very good development because the premier league is open to any player to explore their potentials regardless of any club he chooses to go however, it's not yet certain as to the club that Victor Osimhen would choose to continue his football career but whichever decision he takes it should be respected. Chelsea isn't yet a stable team as if they want to start making a difference they should sign good and tactical players more especially in their midfield and Victor Osimhen moving to Chelsea may not really go down well with the player because he need a compatible midfield in other for it to be easy for him to do the finishing.
316  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Solar systems will be the way out on: February 23, 2024, 04:55:20 AM
The continuous blackout in the country have made businesses both online and offline become difficult for people because a lot of business now requires steady light before success can be achieved and we all are aware of the high cost of petroleum products now and even sometimes, the sellers do hoard this products thereby making it difficult for people to get access to it and it causes scarcity. Now, I begin to think that since we are heading towards a digitized system now, it would be very important that we have light to power our online accessing systems always in other to get updated to the internet all the time and considering our hot weather here in Nigeria, I think the use of solar systems would be preferable though it's very costly but at least there are some solar systems that are still affordable and inasmuch as it can power our laptops, phones, gadgets and any other devices we can use to gain access to the Internet at least it would be a welcome development because even if one decides to use generators, there are times when your generator would just fail you unannounced then it would become a big disappointment in a case where you have something very important to do on the internet.
317  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Owning several accounts and bypassing proxiban. on: February 22, 2024, 06:27:09 PM
Though the forum allows the use of alt accounts but however I don't think building a new account is necessary inasmuch as you keep a good reputation and get reliable trust from users in the forum. Sometimes, I do imagine how some persons manage two accounts like isn't it obvious that you would find it stressful to be using multiple accounts? Well, since the forum allows it and you feel you can get alt account without breaking the rules of the forum then it may be okay but for me, I would build my account to the legendary level and become a DT member.

There was a time a tried opening account for a friend and I was asked to pay an evil fee then I was like what? So opening account for someone using my device means an committing evil? Then I got to know that inasmuch as I've used my device to open my account that I can't open another except I pay the evil fee and I just declined that I don't want to commit any evil in the first place; lol though I don't really know if there is a way to bypass paying the evil fee.
318  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: HODL bitcoins, you can do it! Look at HODL camp map to build up strong hands on: February 22, 2024, 02:18:49 PM
I appreciate any comments, feedback and/or criticisms of those hypos.. so yeah, thanks for looking through them.

Yesterday when I went back to them, I was having a little bit of difficulty remembering why I had created them in the first place, and I had thought that they had some other information in them, so I was a bit frustrated when I needed to add a summary regarding the results of each of the categories.

I believe that my initial idea in creating the categories in the way that I did was because once the frameworks were established, then guys should be able to extrapolate other kinds of results.. but the main points were being made that involve showing how various investment approaches would vary over time, and of course, I wanted to be able to mostly emphasize ongoing DCA into each of the models because historically it has remained an important constant in bitcoin that can be measured in terms of its historical results, and I still believe that historical results does not guarantee future results, even though we can see through the various hypotheticals where guys would currently be based on varying timelines and perhaps whether they might have had some abilities to lump sum invest and/or DCA.. and most people should be able to employ some version of DCA as long as they have some discretionary/disposable income.

There surely are going to be some guys who would have had been able to beat strict variations of DCA, even within the timelines of the given hypotheticals, and so I don't have any problems with that, but I do have some problems with guys making arguments that proclaim some kind of generally applicable system that involves suggestions that they are able to beat DCA.. or they have it all figured out when to buy and when not to buy, and to suggest that newbie normies should follow such systems that they are likely not even able to articulate with any kind of clarity, and likely more than 90% of people are not even capable of developing some kind of a BTC trading system that would match or beat some variation of ongoing consistent buying that involves DCA, especially over longer periods of time such as when we are getting into 5-10 year timelines.

Sure there are ways to trade and even be profitable and even to be able to consistently beat the market or to beat some kind of a strict DCA approach, but those tend to be both specialized people and also not applicable to around 90% of the population who might not have time and/or abilities to engage in such tactics or to learn such tactics.

I find it remarkable that you paid attention to the emotional side of investing. This is very significant, yet I believe it is frequently ignored. DCA can help you control your emotions and make more logical decisions during the sometimes difficult and emotional process of investing. I think that fostering discipline is another way that DCA may assist with the emotional side of investing. It can assist you in staying true to your goal and preventing hasty decisions because you're investing a fixed sum of money on a regular basis.

The way you addressed the issue of those who believe they can "time the market" with Bitcoin or any other investment is also very impressive. These assertions contain a great deal of survivorship bias: individuals who timed the market well will talk about it a lot, while those who didn't will probably say less. Since most people are unable to time the market effectively, DCA can help reduce the risk associated with attempting to do so. I really appreciate how you make the point that it's not reasonable to anticipate that beginners will create a profitable trading method. DCA is a considerably more approachable and controllable tactic.

Basically, investment ought not to be done with emotions that's why beginners are always adviced to go for a long time investment rather than short term investments or trading because long-term investments gives one the ease to make investments and watch it grow as time goes on whereas a short term investor is just after the short term peanut (profit) that would be gotten forgetting to understand the high risk that is associated with it and they always get acquainted to monitor the activities of their investments thereby not giving them time for other things rather always watching the activities of the market.

JayJuanGee have been a good motivator of long term investment in this forum and has made few who are interested in the buying and hodling process to understand the basics of being a long term hodler. With the use of the DCA have also made it easier for everyone to be involved in buying and hodling at regular intervals unlike some persons that only wants to buy and hodl at ones and maybe stop buying again and the consistency in this DCA method have even helped a lot of Bitcoin investors to acquire as much Bitcoin even more than their expectations.
319  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Recovering gambling addict stories on: February 22, 2024, 11:13:34 AM
Gambling should just be for fun and not a way of looking for money. If they can not gamble for fun, they should stop gambling.

I dispute your facts because like I don't see where are normal human would deliberately stake his hard earned money just because you are seeking for fun without seeking for a possible return. Gambling for sure is a risky game that involves two things which is either to win or to lose and majority of people who plays gamble does that in other to win and make some profits from it. It's obvious that our sole reason for seeing gambling as fun it's just in other for us not to become addicted because anything one is doing in life and you focus all your attention and energy towards it, as time goes on you would find out that it would be difficult for you to stop or quit so gambling should be played with caution and that the possibility of winning is not guaranteed therefore anyone who wish to get involved in gambling should do away with emotions. Saying that gambling should be played for fun and not to make money is a kind of ironical because majority gambles for the money so if money isn't involved then i don't know the kind of fun we are talking about here.

320  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2023/24 Season on: February 22, 2024, 10:15:45 AM
I missed out on the game but this was a crucial game, though I settled for highlights, Arsenal dominated the game fulltime but got unlucky when it comes to goals scoring.
You could also say they got a bit lucky since Porto failed to score more because they had more threatening chances. If their player quality is a bit better and they have more composure, I believe Arsenal can be 1-0 down earlier. That's just football, if you fail to score or create any chances then it means nothing, even if you have 70% possession. Kind of weird Arsenal suddenly failed to score after they battered teams in the PL.

Basically, regardless of the fact that Arsenal looks like a big name in football, Porto have more champions experience more than them because i have already stated it earlier before the match that despite the fact that Arsenal have been in a very good form in their domestic league that FC Porto have kept a record in champions league that Arsenal is yet to achieve and considering the fact Porto was playing at home made them very familiar with their play nature that's why it looked like all the efforts Arsenal were making was all in vain because normally, Arsenal dominated the game but their inability to make good attempts towards their opponents goal post made them felt very weak and tired thereby making FC Porto easy to take advantage of their weaknesses and were able to score Arsenal at the die minutes.

Arsenal needs to perform more better when FC Porto comes to the Emirate stadium otherwise Arsenal may find it so difficult just like they did in this 1:0 defeat they suffered to FC Porto so the duty of the coach now is to identify the areas that didn't work out in this first leg and probably change formation and make sure he makes the right features for their returning leg.
