Napoli fell behind early but reacted in such a way that the game changed in an instant. After scoring 3 goals in the first half, they scored 3 more in the second half. It is a pretty long time ago that Napoli was able to play such a dominant game like this. I guess this is the first game that is legit a reminder of how they played last season. Their whole game is so determined that one must be shaking the head why they are in the middle of the standings these days. But I have seen quite often that they have the chances to win their games dominantly and yet they can't score the goals. Maybe this was the game that was missing to finally bring back their self-esteem. If they can maintain this form then it might be the perfect preparation for the second leg in the Champions League against Barcelona.

They become more fierce when playing against the home team, thrashing every hurdles and coming out winning with huge goals. This tremendous winning is a direct message to Xavi Hernandez and Barcelona. Napoli have incredible players to pin their names on the scorelists. A big win that hasn't taken them anywhere, I mean Napoli is still ranked 9th in the Serie A standings at the moment. Osimhen and Kvaratskhelia performed impressively, where in my opinion they were too late in helping Napoli to break into the top four of the standings, I know Osimhen was injured. In fact, this was Calzona first win since replacing Mazzarri, where Napoli previous two matches were draws.

However, there is hope that Calzona can bring Napoli back up and finish in the Europa League zone, because the point difference is still realistic to catch up, Considering that there are still 12 matches remaining. Who knows, Napoli could get lucky when the end of the season approaches. This big victory certainly means a lot, the Confidence of the Napoli players will improve when they face Juventus next Week.

On the other hand, Osimhen number of goals now stands at 11, where he can surpass Dybala, Giroud, in the future if he continues to perform well. I predict Osimhen will be the second top scorer in Serie A this season, and Martinez will be in first place. meanwhile, Sassuolo is now languishing in the degradation zone, along with Cagliari and Salernitana.

Sassuolo often give surprises when facing big teams in the league, but for some reason I don't think this will apply when facing Napoli later, currently Sassuolo performance is too bad for us to try to bet money for Sassuolo win and we can see in the last few weeks that even they only achieved 1 draw, 5 defeats from 6 matches and it will probably get worse when they face Napoli, which on paper is certainly still better than Sassuolo at the moment, even though Sassuolo acts as the home team, it doesn't seem like it will have a bigger impact for them and my prediction, the match will end with Napoli winning 1-3.

 They ought to cover up their lapses but they aren't having what it takes. It'll only cost them a lot if care isn't taking to repair these losses. There's no time left and their contests on the league tables are shaky, Mazarri only had to find a way around his team to cushion the drastic effects of their recent performances but since he couldn't they had to get a replacement that'll be able to place them rightly. Well the new coach hasn't really made any big impact but so far, the team's performance have been better, they're even far more competitive and aggressive on the pitch as they used to and kudos to their forward man and the team in general who have been striving to remain at the peak of their performances.

 One would hope that this tempo is maintained till the end of the season because it's only that way that the team would finish at a meaningful spot in the Serie A table. Their forth coming games hopefully will derive a better results for them at the end of the season too but if they can successfully conquer this season to some reasonable extent, it'll be advisable that they work generally on the management aspect of the squad as positive changes would need to be made by next season.

I was not expecting many goals from Napoli against Sassuolo because Napoli hasn't been performing well lately. So, when they scored 6 goals, it was a huge surprise for me. The results obtained by Napoli today also break the assumptions of many people who doubt Calzona capacity to train Napoli, it is indeed too early for us to aplaus Calzona achievements but from Napoli last two matches I actually see that Napoli  game is starting to improve, the big victory obtained today is at the same time breaking the negative trend without a win in Napoli last 4 matches in all competitions, the big victory over Sassoulo was at least able to revive the confidence of the Napoli players to be able to focus again on winning in the remaining league matches this season, although it is a little difficult to end the season in the European zone but at least now there is a chance they are starting to open up again to achieve it.

It was magical for Napoli to win that match 1:6 even when Sassuolo scored first goal 17 minutes into the game. Seems Victor Osimhen transferred the anger of losing the AFCON championship to them that was why he score his first hat trick after the international duties. What I so much cherished about Napoli in that match was the fact that they not only win with good margin, they outplayed Sassuolo. So it was a good victory that can not be associated with luck. Since Osimhen returned, Napoli has miraculously improved, this is what a key player should look like in a team.

Everyone must have been surprised by Napoli's landslide victory today. Lol
For me, it's natural that many people are surprised because recently Napoli have been performing poorly and have never won a landslide, but the match against Sassuolo was like rising from the grave.

Napoli just needs a great coach who will put the reigning champions in their rightful place and very good for Napoli. Now it seems that Napoli has found a suitable coach to improve the standings. Calzona cannot have made such a difference to the team in a week. Today was very good for the players and they used this advantage in the best way. This 6-1 victory also extinguishes Sassuolo's hopes of staying in the league because they do not want to fall too far behind in terms of goal difference. Napoli performance on the game they played today against Sassuolo was such an incredible performance. Actually, many people will definitely be surprised by the results of the game, including me. I was so sucked when I saw they were just busy putting more goals in the net of Sassuolo, but some will say that it is a payback or revenge that Napoli is trying to do to Sassuolo because they were the ones that got the first goal of the game, so some will say that is because they first scored them, that is why they intend to surprise them with the goals no stop.

Atalanta goal was disallowed hence the game was still a draw up to the 26th minutes when Matteo Darmian scored the first goal of the match. As I am typing now, Inter Milan is leading by two goals to nil with a 45th+2 minute goal scored by Lautaro Martinez. It is obvious that Inter Milan is not a team no one can take for granted. Their consistency is simply outstanding. This bring to mind the Inter Milan of Jose Mourihno that were strong and resolute, defeating the high and mighty with Samuel Eto at the peak of his career. Now that it is obvious that they have won Serie A title, their focus should be on the champions league title that they have a chance at winning.
