I am still having problems with the new wallet and win7. Task monitor shows it as "not responding" and with a cpu usage of 0%.
Is there a log i can post? or something in the console to type to generate a log? its hung for over an hour now so Im gonna have to reset the machine again (Which btw is a fresh install with all updates applied and the only thing i have installed is the wallet.

Im experiencing some weirdness too with the new wallet. (Win7) It looks on the surface that my wallet was fine and still staking, but on closer inspection it had kind of gone offline and wouldn't respond to the point that i had to reboot the machine….. turns out i thought it was staking away in the background but it had in fact died……. don't know if it lost internet connection or not, but no stakey for me  |

Navajocoin.org is intermittently down. So either the guys are preparing for something or there is a problem with the website.

Where did you download? Sure you have the new downloaded? Strange because when I started it says 2.04 i downloaded from the link posted here:https://www.dropbox.com/s/7kaoipph7yp2ima/Navajocoin-Qt.dmg?dl=0 . the wallet changed sligtly and is working flawlessly, but shows in the "about" segment the following: NavajoCoin Version v2.0.3.0-UT-ZAH hope everything is how it should Mine is NavajoCoin Version v2.0.4.0-UT-ZAH Same here 2.0.4.0 UT ZAH Downloaded from link in this thread (Not website) |

The exchanges are updating their clients with the new update mates , the markets should be up soon.
Also there's a quick fix coming fixing the sync issues some are experiencing.

Im toying with the idea of releasing my next album of music and only accepting Nav as the only payment option….. Thoughts please...
A brave move, my best wish. This recall me a message of some time ago, in that message was announced the near launch of a new coin, created by an artist to be used for advertise and sell its album, based on the anonymity model of NavajoCoin. Now I don't want to revamp the old polemics, I would just know if the coin has been succesful launched, and possibly its name. Just curious. I just figured as I am heavily invested in this coin any publicity is helpful. Its a fact that the music business is f*cked - the likes of YouTube and Spotify etc. pay peanuts and as such a new model must be born. Its not helped when you upload a new tune to Youtube and the shitty algorithm they use tags "fresh air" as owned by one of the majors and as such independents get nothing unless you want to take on YouTubes lawyers. Seriously if you upload a track and it has silence in it it says that they tagged "hard days night by the Beatles" - WTF! Its beyond a joke. I digress. The more people talking about (and therefore trading) Nav can only be a good thing. |

I thought about how after NavajoCoin be popularized will reflect the name and undoubtedly criticism of the name, and that it already had the urge to change. And you might want to change?
I have a proposal to change the name to NavajosCoin.
Only implementation of one "s" to Navajos, it already means that the coin is to Navajos people?
What do you think? Good, bad or no change from before!
3 reasons why not: As far as copyright issues go (if there actually exist any) there is no change It flows better to say in the mouth without the s, and it also sounds bad with the s included A second rebrand, even a minor one would not look good either. when you do ./navajoicoind on its own, its trying to start the daemon, i think it does nothing if already running.
if you do a ./navajocoind getinfo , you should be able to see all blockchain info including what block your wallet is on, compare with the block explorer to see if your in sync.
Thanks bocyaj! the block count is going up as is the connections so it appears to be syncing….. I copied my wallet.dat from a pc and pasted over the blank one but it says my wallet has 000000. is that because it needs to fully sync first or do i need to do something else? The win wallet was locked with a pass code does it need to be unlocked on the pi somehow? Thanks again. Hi Yes the balance is rebuilding in process of sync! You have to unlock your wallet to start staking! If you want a gui, you have to install all the qt stuff and aftter that compile all the GUI things. But as said, perhaps first try to get common to the command line! As said you can get alls command line options by ./navajocoind help and than like this: ./navajocoind getinfo and so on.
