Next resistance will be around 1800-1900 sat (I have a lot of large orders around that point as a result of pushing clevermining below 50%).

When Sushichef is back in town we will reach that in a whimp, I guess. He brought in Wijnpakhuis.nl isn't it?

.. sold some to invest else were so I can go ×5 - ×10 and bring in more

Still am a millionaire haha

Let him come. I need the BTC to sustain the hash rate to keep clevermining down.

Is this something you are doing until the algorithm change takes place?

A lot of us are doing it, but BioMike buys a lot of hashpower for us, at least as far as I know correct me if I am wrong Wink, maybe more do it on a larger scale. I heard something about LTEX and the 1680's doing the same. Smiley Check and read http://www.projectgulden.nl/237/hoe-mine-je-guldencoin/

You guys should really push the team for a time frame on this project so you know what your in for.

Until /GeertJohan comes on here and tells us he's actively working on the simulator I am allowed to speculate on timings as much as the next person. My bet is not on the algorithm change but a open source version of the simulator being ready within 3 months. The simulator will be a great milestone for the coin but I am saying to cut down the algorithm change date to under 3 months I would suggest the dev does a simulator tailor made for Guldencoin first, test it against our blockchain, roll out the changes needed and afterwards if successful can worry about a open source product.

He doesn't have to come on here to tell us he's working on it.  He's posted the Twitch feed twice so we could watch him work on it.  Sure that was only 2 times, but I know for a fact that he's been more involved than that.  You've said on 2 occasions already that an algorithm change would be 6 months out.  Again... wrong, as I have pointed out in a previous post.  You said the simulator would take 3-6 months:

The developer /GeertJohan is working on a simulator at least once a week for about 3 hrs a week according to the live feeds , so it wil  take another 3-6 months before it's completed at this rate as people are saying it will be a first for cryptos. So expect the development changes for the new algorithm to be done middle of next year.

Now you're saying a solid 3 months with a 20k bet on it.  You're back-peddling because you know you're talking out your ass.  You have no idea how long anything will take, but you come into the thread... the only thread you've ever posted in on BCT... and you make it seem like progress isn't happening.  Just because /GJ doesn't stream all his work doesn't mean he isn't working.  I can vouch for his commitment to this simulator, and the algorithm change.  He's working a lot harder than you assume.

90% of your posts in this forum are questioning the completing dates of the IOS wallet, simulator, algo change, etc.  So instead of throwing out estimated completion dates for something you're not even helping with, why don't you volunteer your time to do something to better the situation instead of shitting on the timeline?

It would be nice if you could stop calling names and insulting everybody that says something you do not like. An adult discussion based on arguments should be enough.

I have Team lead a development team in 2 companies and all that will end up happening is the project will keep getting bigger and more will be needed.

My plan would be the following.

1.Create Simulator that will work for Guldencoin, it doesn't need to be a complete workable open source product to cater for all scrypt coins needs. Focus on Guldencoin first.
2. Test against Guldencoin blockchain
3. Update Guldencoin algorithm SO OTHER WORK CAN CONTINUE (iOS)
4. If change is successful then you should finish the simulator into a complete package to make it open source.

These 4 steps will cause less delay for us.

I will keep the bet @20k and when I win you can give Bram_vnl the 20 000. I know how the dev world works and /GeertJohan will do the algorithm change long before this simulator is complete. No one is this fast and if he had to complete it within 3 months with algo change then I will add /GeertJohan is best developer in the world to my signature.

You seem to know a lot about the development cycle here, considering you just started shilling here recently.  Sure you had a couple posts asking about when things were going to be done with the IOS wallet, but your posts were mostly shill FUD.

What makes you think that it is seriously going to take 6 months to do an algorithm change?  What makes you think the simulator is going to take 3?  Do you even understand what the simulator does?  It's a little advanced, but not that complicated.  The algorithm testing could be done now on the testnet, but does anyone have that kind of BTC laying around to throw at cloud mining for testing purposes only?  I know I don't.  I'd rather test with the simulator.  So let /GJ do what he's doing and it will get done.... and I'm sure it will be faster than 3 months.

Just stop with the FUD already.

Yep, i was typing when you posted Wink. bram_vnl, sniffing and hijacking somebody's facebook account with a man in the Middle attack like SSL-strip , with an app like Zanti and Dsploit on you mobile phone is no different, and a piece of cake. You can now practically use your phone to crack and spy on your neighbors. So hacking has become more easy to do, but methods to easily securing your wallets has stayed behind. Maybe when the dev team are finished with the algorithm, they can pay some attention to increasing wallet security.

The algorithm change will only happen in 6 months as /GeertJohan is building a simulator first.
How do you know that?, did i miss an announcement?. I have not heard anything when it will be finished. I guess that that is a speculation because we are not seeing allot right now, but 6 months is over exaggerated.

Want it done in 3 months or less, build the simulator just for use against Guldencoin network and not open source, sort out Guldencoins demons first before worrying about the rest of the world by providing open source product.

I will bet anyone here 20k NLG that a working open source simulator will take more then 3 months to build and we already 2-3 weeks in since /GeertJohan started his first live dev session.

Let me take you up on this, but let's also increase the bet to 200K. If I win, I'll give it to Bram_vnl  Smiley

Guldencoin Crossroads

The way I see things right now is that guldencoin devs doing work on something that is not going to benefit the coin against other coins who have more stable network. It has to be new algorithm to make
it all worth it because it take too long to fix. I know it need to be done but it also prevents other advancements in guldencoin as devs keep all focus on algorithm change.

On positive side this last 2 month has shown how strong this community is who have added to Guldencoin, Don't get me wrong the updates still come fast but not from dev team and more from the users which is better as coin does not rely on team so much.

Mate you talk about morals and bad energy while supporting a scam like it's the second coming.  You are essentially giving credit to the developer who did not have your vision when creating efl. I would actually believe the above as sincere if you started your own coin.

I'm glad you got that out of your system. Can we move on now?

While Brito is correct I do agree with AmazingDreams. Let them be. I have also said my piece and everyone just needs to make up there own minds now and in the future.

................
I think it goes without saying the survival of countries coins relies on the success of Guldencoin, Aurora failed badly , if Guldencoin gets into top 20 then all other country coins will get more investment. I am currently supporting Sterlingcoin and with all the effort and dev that has gone into that coin the price is terrible compared to what it should be.

I have purchased some Guldencoin as all country coin fans need to support it so other good country coins get more support.

How can you say Aurora failed badly ?? It just does not follow your short-term expectations. I expect you agree with me that Aurora is a great alternative for the icelandic krona, just as the e-Gulden we are talking about here. People just need to be educated. Not just by us who believe in the e-Gulden but also by YOU. Start by understanding Aurora did not fail.  "This democracy is thoroughly ill-informed", “We all practice psychic numbing. We are lemmings. We are all into manic denial,” (Quote from Dr. Helen Caldicott, Nobel Peace price 1985)

Hi Anonylz,

For those of us with a IQ over 80 it is very unfortunate that the EFL distribution structure is setup in such a way that if by some miracle it became successful it would become the worst form of
Oligarchy (A form of power structure in which power effectively rests with a small number of people.)

I would rather have the current fiat system then this, but hey what do I know.

Guldencoin is een goede introductie voor Nederlands Crypto , Er was geen scam bij de start.

315  Local / Alt Coins (Nederlands) / Re: De E-Gulden propaganda on: September 21, 2014, 02:36:19 PM

The E-Gulden is much better. The E-Gulden has a bigger community and a bigger market cap.
The halve reward of the E-Gulden will be this year in November.
The E-Gulden has been in all the Dutch media.
The current hashrate is 20 times bigger from the start of the Foundation.
The value has also increased from the start of the Foundation.
The E-Gulden has also some other advantages.
On the long run the E-Gulden will beat Guldencoin!!

Kijk altijd naar de reden waarom.

I have sent NLG from bittrex to my wallet. It has not come through yet, how long do these transactions normally take? It's stuck on unconfirmed for quite awhile now.

don't worry. Some time ago I send a support ticket and got an answer quick. almost same time my coins walk in ;-)
Patience is the key word in this.

Sometimes it take 1-2 minutes, sometimes ~30 minutes - 1 hour....

Looks like they just came in. Thanks for the feedback.

I am just going to say everyone involved in Cryptos now is very lucky, it was my son that introduced me to bitcoin. It won't be my generation using this as much as our kids. Everything is virtual now, even socializing. Banks have a bad reputation and people want more control of there own finances. What you get with virtual currencies is honest representation of true value. In the banking world the amount of liquid capital vs debt will make you have sleepless nights. This is why you have to have Virtual Currencies in your portfolio.

Hi,

When will iOS be released?

Hi Investeerder,

can't exactly say yet. We're in the process of testing the app. Everything seems pretty good and I think it will be send to Apple sometime around 16th - 17th of sept. It usually takes a couple of days for Apple to approve apps.

Cookie.

i hope not that apple wil block again coin app's

I will be taking the coins off bittrex when my order completes. How safe will iOS wallet be or should i keep most of them on my Mac Wallet?
