RussiaCoin – RC blockexplorer is up!

http://rc.explorer.bitnodes.net/

Cheers!

Thanks for the heads up.  Had quite a few hits on Facebook / Twitter the last few days.

What is a strange coin - there is no announcements in Russian language boards here and official site is down atm.

Have just checked - http://www.russiacoin.info/ is up and running.

Don't forget russiacoin, 0.99% premine of 144 M total coin with a pow phase of 7 M coins. Premine dumped and coin is already dead!
How long ago was it released? I'm only adding the new coins. Old ones, especially dead, should not be our concern.

My bad, end of May so no point posting about it.

RussiaCoin Bounty Hunters TM Wink

Our first bounty for 2018 is to work out exactly which exchanges either list RC or have them on their voting roster?

100 RC will be given to any person posting here on BCT a link to an exchange that we don't already know about that is listing RussiaCoin.  An additional 50 RC for each additional altcoin / fiat on the same exchange eg

Today RussiaCoin is trading at BTC 0.00001329 which would yield 0.001329 for one link, BTC 0.0019935 for two and BTC 0.002658 for three URL's etc from the one exchange. (these BitCoin prices are only a guide, you will be paid in RussiaCoin only - no exceptions).

Stipulations:  The exchange cannot be one already identified, and, must be actively trading already.  IE Cryptopia and Crypto DAO will not earn a bounty.  We are led to believe that RussiaCoin will be listed at AltCoin.IO, but will have to wait like everyone else, so it also does not earn a bounty.

If an exchange does not trade RC for any other crypto or Fiat Currency, but is listed in a "Vote for this coin" style method, we will pay 50 RC once only per exchange.

*Note* if we can deposit RussiaCoin into the exchange and then successfully withdraw them, we will double any bounty offered.

This bounty remains in place until 23:59 GMT on Monday, the 31st December, 2018.

I've had that happen which left me scratching my head as it was a wallet address I'd created, but hadn't used (different send wallet to one you've got listed).

Very puzzling.

Dude its not even a joke, we need to lose the BTC tag on every single exchange NOW, the amount of 0.0000's is scaring people away.

Hmm, yes, I see your point - RussiaCoins any-one? get them while they are sub-bits http://www.RussiaCoin.Info/  Grin

314  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: proposal for currency symbol for 'bits' (=1/1000000 BTC) on: September 16, 2014, 12:41:07 AM
I've read the entire thread and I can see clearly where your thinking is coming from in that with eight zeros the last two are the cents and the third zero column becomes the dollar (and one whole bit coin *could*be* interpreted as a "million dollars").

There's already a function to trade in milli and micro (my interpretation or names might be wrong there, feel free to correct) If you divide the number of people on the planet by the final number of whole bitcoins there is one bitcoin for every 312.7 people http://www.census.gov/popclock/ (Or inverse BTC0.00319785 per person on the planet at today's population count.

If feel in time as alt coins gain momentum, coins like bitcoin will end up becoming a device to move (the value contained in) other coins or currencies around with. In the above some one would be saying they have three thousand one hundred and ninety seven "bit's" and eighty five Satoshi's.

It may or may not work, Nice symbol btw.

Good luck with your launch but be wary of Bittrex. They will abruptly drop a coin even when there are coin/BTC on offer to trade.

Do you mean if there is no trade volume?

I've seen both little and no trade in a coin for a very short period of time which prompted Bittrex to remove the coins from their books. (and they make no bones about low/no volume coins being flagged for deletion)
316  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New and cheap coins with potenial? on: September 14, 2014, 02:16:24 AM
What new coins that are still cheap at the moment exist? What kind of potential do they have?

RussiaCoin RC has concluded it's PoW mining and is now in PoS.  With 7.7 Million coins mined at 23 sats 1% of the total will set you back 0.01771 BTC at BleuTrade exchange. ( https://bleutrade.com/exchange/2129 )

318  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Litecoin is officially dead on: September 08, 2014, 05:43:37 PM
Litecoin and Dogecoin fill a niche market for purchasing coins with small values - Like a silver and bronze (copper?) to Bitcoin's gold.

I'd hardly call that a niche, there are thousands of coins that you can get cheaper than BTC.  You've just described every altcoin in existence, heh.  Rather than just being cheap, why not look for a coin that serves an actual purpose?  Lots of coins now have, or will soon have, features like asset exchange AND are still cheaper than Bitcoin.  What new features does Litecoin have in the development pipeline?  Does it even have a development pipeline?

interesting point of view.

From one hand,I agree that if altcoin would like to live long term it's better to serve a purpose, now there a plenty of altcoins that are cheap and good only in a manner to mine it asap and sell it to BTC. And from another hand, it's really difficult to create a coin with features that would make it popular and liquid. There are disputes about features that good coin should have and probably this dispute will never end

You could also have a case where a coin become region-centric (with or without a country name). Already there are reports that China is gobbling up BTC's - Imagine if BTC disappeared from Western use.
319  Economy / Speculation / Re: buy bitcoin by cost avraging it for the next 2 years on: September 05, 2014, 11:49:03 PM
If you anticipate there will be a spike in 2016, why not set aside a certain amount each month (say $20 - 24 X $20 = $480 - close enough to 1 BTC at the going rate)  into a wallet on a computer or device you won't touch and in two years time when the chain of events are right, you can strike while the iron is hot.
