The only thing about supply which can be implemented in the new release is the reduce of mining rewards. The community discussed inflation and mining rewards after this message: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1733963.msg18478598#msg18478598The consensus was to reduce block rewards. Currently it's INT(19697202017/(INT(nHeight/100000)*100000)) 17906 MOON per block atm. If blocks are fast (90 s) there will be 515 million MOON, produced by miners every month (till next halving). The dev of Mooncoin (barrysty1e) was advised to reduce block rewards, according to the consensus of the community. In my opinion the rewards can be reduced now to let MOON rise, currently due to the rise of BTC, MOON is below 1 Satoshi, which is not good psychologically. Reducing of mining rewards could help decrease mining pressure and help MOON enter the BTC markets again. However, as you understand, it's not me who decides that. You may want to try to convince the Mooncoin dev to implement this feature in the release. Good afternoon again. I agree about the reduction of mining reward. Moon BTC isn't dead. BTC is in the midst of multiple forks or potential forks. Reply protection is not in place so currently many BTC to altcoin markets are currently slowed or depressed in price. Things should pickup in late November again. Assuming thing get sorted and people are confident they are not exposed to a replay attack.

Also people ask the questions about the upcoming fork, which aims to solve problems with pauses between blocks, to add Segwit and other improvements. First of all, the developer who is solely developing the new wallet is barrysty1e. He will post an update in this ANN thread and will publish a new code and binaries at https://github.com/mooncoindev. If you have coins at exchanges or in paper wallets, nothing to do. Exchanges will update the wallet. Paper wallets are just pairs private key-address which are stable and don't depend on a version of Mooncoin wallet. If you use a desktop wallet, then you have to download and run a new wallet when it's ready (to backup your wallet.dat is always a good idea though).
