can you give me more info about that 40MB blocksize? is that the big blocksize proposed by bitcoin chief scientist Gavin Anderson? For BitTorrent, the biggest blocksize is 32M, how can we ensure that 40M blocksize? how can let people use this coin? in the darknet? Thanks! 2x the 20mb original proposed for btc. Gavin's proposal was for a sliding range/dynamic block size that increases over time.

Any reason why my coins that are over 8 hours old aren't staking?
Network weight going up, you may have to wait for more coin weight to accumulate. Hover mouse over staking icon shows your coin weight vs. network weight.

Added address index and updated windows wallet d/l links. Optional update, adds the address index feature from sipa in latest bitcoin core.
Run with -reindexaddr option first time to build the address index database. Will take 10-15 minutes.
After can use searchrawtransactions rpc call from console & return all transactions for given address. Can do paging, give starting spot and # of tx's to return, get them 20 at a time, or 100 at a time, or other.

I've added a hidden service node on virtual port 30108:
d5jxp6ajbjbrpdhd.onion
If you have TOR you can either connect only to tor nodes:
./crave-qt -onlynet=Tor -listen=0 -irc=0 -proxy=127.0.0.1:9050 -addnode=d5jxp6ajbjbrpdhd.onion:30108
Or connect to it as well as normal nodes:
./crave-qt -proxy=127.0.0.1:9050 -tor=127.0.0.1:9050 -addnode=d5jxp6ajbjbrpdhd.onion:30108

When I try to open the wallet on Win 7 x64 or Win 8.1 x64, I receive the following error: "The program can't start because libwinpthread-1.dll is missing from your computer. Try reinstalling the program to fix this problem." Any advice or is anyone else experiencing the same issue?
Try this one (added another static flag): https://anonfiles.com/file/2f3bb13f412a57544e21650ddbd8fad9sha: a5b832fb3baba285955da38b711bf4bfbc17e6ef If solves let me know, will update OP.
|
|
|
Is this a madatory update?
No, not mandatory. Only if you want to send/receive with stealth addresses. Added some alt d/l links & shasums in OP.
|
|
|
I might have missed something, but any chance we could get a compiled wallet for windows in the OP? (mega link is broken)
Thanks
Yeah, it looks like mega is down for me right now too... I'll put an alternate up.

Added stealth, port from SDC w./ lot of tweaks to work with the newer code. There is small 1 cravoshi fee when you send to stealth address, needed as network does not accept 0 value outputs as standard transaction. This way no hardfork that upsets our reptilian overlords. Updated d/l link in the OP.

static const int64_t MAX_MONEY = 2000000000 * COIN; // 1M PoW coins
?
Do you have a question? Is 2000000000 the total number of coins in the long run? There is 1M coins possible to make from POW (up to block 10,000). POS is flat 1 coin per block. That is 1440 coins per day. It will take 3,803 years to hit the 2B cap. In 3,803 years the reptilian colonists could then bump it up again so people can keep on staking.

?
Do you have a question?
|
|
|
can i put it elsewhere in the code?
Yes...if you want....
|
|
|
Looks like staking is already happening. So less than 1 million coins once PoS kicks in.
Any plans for this coin?
Before we tell our plans/concept for this coin, maybe would be interesting to hear some brainstorm from the community, without any pre-conceived ideas yet - what is "hot" for you guys, and what kinds of features or services would you want to see that will really get you excited (while also keeping unique niche)? We can then pull together with our plan and see what is possible. Have some days of mining so have time to finalize roadmap.
