Milan have a young and fast forward like Rafael Leao. Giroud is a good backup player for them, Ibrahimovic is a prestige tool for them. I don't think they just need the performance of these two old wolves. After Milan manage to extend Rafael Leao's contract, they can sign a few more young talents next to him, but I think they already have a young and quality forward. Of course I'm sure they wouldn't say no to a few more of them.  The great thing about Ibrahimovic is that he is one of the few players we know who never gets old like other players do. When other players reach the age of 32-33 years, they usually can't perform as well as they once could. Ibrahimovic is 41 and he runs on the field like a boy. AC Milan could invest in young players if they wanted to avoid spending a lot of money and even have the young player back up Rafael Leao instead of Giroud, who is no longer in his prime. Well italian teams loves old players , but still zlatan is the one with the most special one who makes a club like ac milan can count on him in certain conditions include his service in develop young talents , he played a long side his son which it's a rare thing. Lazio were actually really effective in the first half. But still they couldn't score a goal. And now there is more balance in the game. Sampdoria shouldn't be a team that Lazio have difficulties against normally. But somehow they are still struggling to find the goal to get ahead. Sampdoria stole one point from Inter not much time ago as well and they might do the same to Lazio too.
I just don't understand big teams in the league sometimes. Sampdoria are literally one of the worst teams in the league now.

It is remarkable that Totthenem won two consecutive wins, yes, they actually started to play a good game. In the teams they played, they were the hardest teams in the league, in fact, they lost to the easiest team in the last four games. Bayern Munich are still too powerful of course. Their huge win over Union Berlin is a proof for that as well. The score wasn't that huge maybe but the domination was really like that.
I'm curious about their game against Dortmund in Allianz Arena as well. Dortmund have been in great shape for so many weeks you know. They look really unstoppable however Bayern Munich could be the only team to stop them these days. I don't feel like Dortmund can get any point from them there. Of course it depends on how much Bayern Munich players will be focused on that game. But they would care about that game the most among all the league games. It is important for the title race eventually.
This win should be considered a 6 points win, because the other team is a competitor for the title. Actually, as we get closer to the end of the season, the competition will get tighter, and as we can see, Dortmund seems the only team that can threaten Bayern's position. However, there will be many matches before the match between both teams, so they might lose points to other teams and break the points tie before the waited match. Bayern will always be favorited and even the gap between dortmund and bayern is only 3 points away ... the odds for bayern to win bundesliga is very low ... that's understandable as bayern have the track record of being too strong for any other bundesliga teams in the last 10 years. He's currently 15 years old, but the contract he will join Chelsea after he's already 18 years old, so Chelsea is really looking for long term journey since they have no problem to wait for next 3 years. I didn't think the game would end in a draw as I bet the handicap (-0.25) on Fulham to win but that's ok at least I only lost half of the multibet result. Wolves seem to be on a losing streak after this match, as you said their opponents are a strong EPL team I think their chances of winning are very slim and it's a draw to get.
Wolves played well and the draw was pretty good for them because Fulham is a strong team at the moment even Fulham is the team at the top of the standings, even Wolves had excelled in the first half before Fulham finally managed to score an equalizer in the second half. the game of these two teams is quite even and that is quite surprising because Wolves are not really counted on to be able to get points at home to Fulham. many people lost their bets in this match because a draw was indeed beyond many people's expectations. The match between Valencia vs Sociedad previously has been ended with draw results 4 times in a row i think this proven Valencia is the team who hard to be defeated by Sociedad but currently Valencia were very weak that they cannot wins in the last 12 matches in all competitions so i think it's very difficult for them to at least stole point from Sociedad

Boehly is backing Potter for now maybe but I don't think this will go on for a very long time. I think a similar scenario to Barcelona had between Laporta and Koeman can happen in the summer. You might remember that Laporta also supported Koeman despite the bad results. But not much time later he decided to part ways with him and brought Xavi in his place. I think Potter will also be sacked by Chelsea if the results don't improve too much in the remaining matches.
Potter made a statement like he wasn't the real problem in this. But if we still don't see any improvement until the end of the season then I'm afraid he will also have a big contribution to this mess.
He is explaining things always in general , nothing specific and keep clapping even embarassingly lost. I can't see a great attitude come from potter , he cannot deliver what the fans wanted not even once , nothing special even worse the players looks confused with his strategy and often losing ball easily in a game. It was quite surprising to see Chelsea lost to the team that being on the last position of the table. Before the game, I favored Chelsea to win even could score at least 2 goals, which I'm sure most of football fans would do the same. Because of that, I bet on Joao Felix to score as his performance wasn't so bad and I believe that his ambition to score first EPL goal is so high. But yeah, it went not as expected lol. Though, I made another bet which I was so sure, The Saints captain, Ward-Prowse, would score. And damn his beautiful goal! He is the second player who scored most direct-freekick goal in Premier League now, just one goal away from Beckham. Sick.  Well , that's a nice one on ward-prowse ... everyone knows how dangerous he is whenever trying to shoot even from the long range and it's proven in the match that he scored through the freekick and pretty sharp making kepa hard to stop it. Barcelona players has displayed what made people to believed that they are in a good position to win this la Liga league title, because they were able to achieved two goals in the first half to weak the strength of Cadiz players, which they did by not allowed them to score goal through out the match. Robert Lewandowski and Sergi Roberto used their opportunities well to help the team to embrace the goals that brought them victory and to help them to be ahead of Real Madrid in the la Liga league table. I think, Barcelona will definitely break record in this season by achieving the title, because they keep displaying wonders in this la Liga league competition.
That's my first time seeing sergi roberto play since the early match in la liga. Glad to see that due to the injury that happened with some players of barcleona and that gives him a chance to show his performance to the xavi. he is really worthy to be included as the main starter. Xavi was also giving applause to him. I remember when many culez were always blaming him due to the his bad performance. It seems like this time he is playing differently than before. that's why xavi was trying to trust him in the upcoming game against manchester united yet sergi roberto was just playing against cadiz which a team that placed at the bottom of la liga. The big exam will come once sergi roberto will be facing manchester united. Barcelona has had a better performance this season than any other season. The team is giving great performances to the fans. After this kind of performance, if the team is not able to win the Laliga title, then the team will be broken in a big way. The mental fitness was apparently not right at Union Berlin. I did not think they would play so tense. Apparently they are not yet ready to take the initiative.

Well, now we see the top 3 rankings with the same points as you said, meaning, this time the Bundesliga is not the same as the usual Bundesliga, which continues to be filled by Bayern Munich with a large difference in points. We'll be more interested to see how the matchweeks in the Bundesliga will go. Bayern could still haunted union berlin or any other club who way too comfortable at the top 3 or takeover the 1st place in just a couple matches , bayern still overpower compared to such clubs ... not even prime dortmund can really stop bayern munich for beaing too dominating. 15 games to go and napoli lost once only + 2 draw the whole season ... could be their best record in a season plust high points earned by the end of the season , they are the least club to concede as well as the highest goal scored , a lot of achievement they could get all at once in single season.
Impossible for them to wasted the chances in these last 15 serie a games .
The record is from Conte's Juventus in 2015 and it will be hard for them to beat it. Keep also in mind that Napoli is under investigation and they can be penalized with points deduction. You mean 2013/2014 ? Where juventus got 33 wins out of 38 matches. I can only remember in 2015 where juventus won 33 matches at home consecutively till 2016 , that's a tough record to beat indeed. From the look of things, I think chelsea, Liverpool, PSG, are out of the champion league predicted winners picture. Its not too bad for PSG since they still lead the league one title race, and still has the hope of competing in the next year champion league competition, but I so much feel pity for chelsea and Liverpool who shall have nothing to fight for if kicked out of champion league, it will be so bad to see two top England clubs end the season like this.
From my perspective It's too early to conclude that Liverpool, Chelsea and PSG are already out of the Champions League despite the their first results and when we still have 2nd leg games to be played, You forgot this is football and Champions League for that matter, First leg game results don't usually predict what would be the outcome of the overall matches. it's not yet over until it's over, therefore anything can still happen during the second leg game, espect suprises too. Big mistake if you think that way for sure , everyone at champions league has a chance to qualify despite even losing big at the first leg , things could be really unpredictable in this kind of competitive european league , the low odds on them can't be a solid parameter , the next 90 minutes for sure uncertain. I even see it as a big opportunity to earn big in a huge multiplier , game still on till next week. |

It's a shame last year that the previous owner Abramovich had to leave England and of course the previous coach Thomas Tuchel should have given him more opportunities to improve Chelsea. However, it seems that the club's management did not want to waste time and seemed to be in a hurry in making decisions, so that finally it has had an impact like this on Chelsea's performance.
Indeed, I also think this is too much for Graham Potter, even in the last 10 matches in all competitions they have only managed to win once, even when they were against Crystal Palace. Barcelona vs Cádiz. Barcelona scored two goals in the first half. Sergi Roberto scored the first goal in the 43' minute of the game and Robert Lewandowski scored the second goal. Barcelona had 73% possession of the first half. Cádiz tried hard but could not turn the tide of the game. I am hopeful that Barcelona will be able to score more goals in the second half of the game.
It has become a natural thing when Barcelona won this match because in terms of strength it is also superior to Barcelona, At least Cádiz has tried to keep their defense but still easily broken down by attackers from Barcelona. So far Cádiz has never won a victory from Barcelona. I was trying to bet against the odds ... as cadiz battling the relegation and i was thinking that barcelona might be slipped and cadiz gained points with extra power to save themselves from the relegation ... but barcelona managed to get all the three points easily. Finally a competitive Bundesliga and seeing three teams with the same amount of points in the top is great.Of course for me the big outsider here is Union Berlin who were not able to beat the last place of the standings which is Schalke and even if Schalke is 4 games now that they don't concede any goal this is no justification for a team that supposedly fights for the title like Union Berlin does.
What I am happy about is seeing Dortmund in such an awesome form and for me they are the strongest contender to the title,their recent form is simply marvelous going from win to win which makes me think they to be the winners of the Bundesliga in the end of this season.
With the draw against union berlin .. schalke now is 6 points away only to get out if the relegation position ... they need to keep up the good work and making these cleansheet momentum in the last 4 matches to collect 4 precious points and even more to improve the game. Having 0-0 4 times in a row is not enough , but yeah it's better a bit for schalke , huge blow for union berlin themselves. |
