Previously, Atletico and Girona were the teams with very good defenses, but now everything has changed, especially in Girona, they concede too much. Although Girona is still a very difficult opponent when it comes to home matches. Therefore, Atletico will be the favorite, but Girona will not give up points so easily. Atletico are likely to score because Girona's defense looks like it's full of holes right now.
The performance of each player in each season has differences in terms of stamina and performance, currently, Atlético still has a pretty good performance because it is proven that they are still in the top three at the top of the standings and are able to not lose in their last five matches, while Girona is not as good as imagined because their position fell in the top 12. So I'm sure that in this match, Atletico will have it easy against Girona.
On the paper it's clear that atletico win in everything.

But they have to watch it closely , girona always score big in the last three matches ... they always scored at least two goals as well as atletico who scored and past sevilla 6 in the last match so yeah i expect there might a lot of goals scored in the match , over 2.5 goals for me.

according to the english newspaper 'the independent' real madrid wants to sign the two world stars Erling Haaland (man city) and Jude Bellingham (borussia dortmund) and reunite the former dortmund pair from next season onwards

https://www.independent.co.uk/sport/football/erling-haaland-real-madrid-man-city-jude-bellingham-b2297384.html

If this happens it would probably be the best foundation Real Madrid could build for the future right now. Perhaps they can add Mbappe to that as a left winger! Cheesy But why would Manchster City let Haaland go even for 170 million? It doesn't make a lot of sense to me because Manchester City doesn't care about money. They would have spent 170 million themselves if Haaland didn't have that clause at Borussia Dortmund.

Then when I read those numbers I am puzzled again how this is supposed to work out considering the financial fair play rules. Barcelona can't even keep Messi because of the high salary back then and Real Madrid is able to spend almost 300 million just on transfer fees alone and the salary isn't even included yet? How is anyone supposed to understand how all of that works out?

Nobody knows though whether there are agreements between Haaland and City that we just don't know anything about. Haaland has had some very smart contracts and it wouldn't be a surprise if that is the case again here.
Well yeah but as per reported by fabrizio romano that haaland happy with pep and manchester city so yeah there is no way for haaland to leave even if real madrid ready to splash a lot of money , would be useless if the player and the club don't want to release him.

Not sure where all these wild rumor come from. Independent well known a big liar though.
263  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: March 11, 2023, 10:52:53 PM
I'm sure they're already regretting their performance today, as they failed to win the Premier League game against a less competitive Bournemouth. You can't say who is to blame, from the coach to the players. Every opportunity they have lost cannot be reclaimed. They must modify their formation and style of play in order to win games and, hopefully, finish in the top four of the table.
Many thought that Liverpool recovered when they won with 7 goals vs ManU and I warned that doesn't mean anything since ManU made a lot of mistakes and they aren't performing as usual. Liverpool fast forward lost vs Bournemouth, a team in the relegation zone.. Incredible how dysfunctional Liverpool is.. Obviously the Champions League match vs Real Real might end with a disaster if they didn't fix themselves..

Or not , i mean look on how liverpool performance feel like a rollercoaster , last week they won with 7 goals and now lost embarassingly 1-0 to a bottom club like bournemouth , this midweek going to be extraordinary in champions league , liverpool might win but won't qualified.

Liverpool going down on the table if brentford, newcastle and brighton all wins the 2 advantage matches . Dragged back to 9th.
264  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2022/23 on: March 09, 2023, 11:26:33 PM
Real Madrid got draws in both of their last two games in the league. I think it is time for them to start winning again. Their next game is a home one against Espanyol. This is a very comfortable game for Real Madrid on paper. Benzema isn't expected to play due to ankle injury but I still expect them to be comfortable in this one. They need to start making up for their recent mistakes in the league.

Even if they struggle to get close to Barcelona from now on they should still try their best in the remaining games. Because Ancelotti would be criticized if they don't win either of the La Liga and Champions League titles.
Real Madrid will find it difficult to win when Benzema does not contribute on the field because Real Madrid is the spearhead for Real Madrid. If the game against Espanyol ends in a draw again, then it is certain that they cannot approach or overtake Barcelona. Real Madrid needs a win to take first place.
Despite Espanyol not doing good in the recent matches , real madrid must be aware that they held atletico madrid draw and barcelona as well , the result could be the same ... even more worse , having 9 points gap to the league leader barcelona actually is still competitive to catch.

But you know that things could get worse for real madrid especially if they keep on playing really bad just like when they held draw by betis , lost to barcelona and draw to atletico in the last of their three matches.

Tottenham are out of the Champions League from now on so they have only the Premier League to focus on. Their main goal must be to finish the season by getting a spot for the Champions League group stage. But their job won't be easy at all while Liverpool are right behind them. Tottenham have just lost so many points because being out-of-form. Liverpool still caught up with them despite their bad look as well.

If Liverpool continue to show a high level of performance in the remaining time period of the season then Tottenham will be under a big threat.
Moreover if chelsea successfully won the champions league (again) the 4th spot as the last ticket gonna be meaningless though , so yeah the situation pretty much similar to the 2011-2012 season where chelsea finished 6th but qualified for the CL due they won the champions league that season.

Tottenham could possibly kicked out of the CL qualification for one more time again despite finished 4th or whoever finished 4th.

Osimhen seems to be a target for Arsenal also now. Him and Declan Rice are both Arsenal's transfer targets for the summer actually.

About Rice their chance is not low that's for sure. Maybe there would be some other big Premier League teams like Chelsea and Manchester United also in a race to sign him. But still Arsenal's hand would be stronger than theirs as long as they finish the season as the champions in the Premier League. But as for Osimhen their job is really difficult. Because Osimhen is a target for some other big teams also. I mean not only teams from the Premier League but also from other big leagues. If a more prestigious team intervene this deal then Arsenal might have big difficulties.
With all these stats that currently he have ... would be perfect for arsenal to keep themselves on top form if they could get osimhen service , psg .. manchester united and even chelsea are interested to sign him as he is in the sharpest beast mode this season with napoli.

Would be pricy as well as napoli invested a lot of money back in 2020.
267  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2022/23 Season on: March 07, 2023, 03:05:01 PM
I checked the odds in my country for next champions league matches:
Chelsea 1.55, X Draw 3.42, Borussia Dortmund 3.78
Our betting company in Türkiye sees its as guaranteed Chelsea win although I think that Dortmund is pretty steady and strong and can resist in this match. Draw odd which is 3.42 is pretty beneficial in my opinion.
For Benfica match its pretty obvious. Benfica has better/stronger squad. I am sure Brugge players are gonna be pretty much demotivated in next match. I would say win for Benfica BUT Brugge scoring at least 1 goal to compensate situation. So sad for them to play this match after 2-0 loss.
Many says that chelsea might win 1-1 and force a penalty shootout.

The fact that dortmund much in better form while chelsea get their winless month broken last week that must be a great factor for dortmund to have an absolute winning but the odds often confusing us . Chelsea had no choice but to fight to win champions league in order to have themselves in next season CL as in domestic league no way they could finish top 4 for a CL guaranteed ticket.

Newcastle have two midfielders on their radar now as it seems. These players are Maddison and McTominay.

If they are planning on signing one of these players then I think they should concentrate on reaching an agreement with Leicester for Maddison. Because Maddison would be a big addition for improving their productivity of scoring goals. McTominay isn't a bad midfielder of course but I don't think he can be compared to Maddison right now. Maddison definitely deserves to play for a big team. He is very qualified for a team like Leicester.
It's a shame that a player like Maddison is still at Leicester, who have been in such a slump this season, and if he wants to leave, maybe there's a chance next summer. I think Maddison is the attacking midfielder that Newcastle needs and that will definitely help a lot with goals and assists. Whereas McTominay is more of a central midfielder or defensive midfielder and I think for now Newcastle still doesn't need McTominay's services.
Both players needed for newcastle especially they are going to play in european competition next season , squad depth pretty much required to get through a long and tight journey , next transfer window would become a great time for them to shop big as they have got a big achievement as well .

Arab money ready to spend this time.
269  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: March 07, 2023, 01:38:17 AM
When it comes to the Napoli - Atalanta game I just expect Napoli not to lose once again. It was indeed not expected to see them losing to Lazio in a home game. But this one against Atalanta should be a game to make up for that loss. Atalanta are a pretty unstable team this season. I can't say they are consistent at all. They have struggled a lot about getting a win recently.

Considering all of this, I think Napoli will take advantage of their inconsistent look and get the win. I know they are comfortable already for the title but I don't expect any complacency.
13 matches to go and napoli leading the title race with quite big gap of 15 points , that's not something you can compete with as a title contender , not inter milan , lazio, as roma nor ac milan ... all of them surrender already with napoli perfect superb season till they beaten up last week by lazio.

Despite the winning , lazio would still hard to maintain the top 5 though.
270  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [POLL] Using AI to predict outcomes on: March 06, 2023, 07:56:39 PM
I tried to force ChatGPT to make a prediction about the past, or, a retrodiction, if you speak scientifically. Here's the result:

I think it kinda gives us an impression on how ChatGPT would be predicting the future events if it were connected to the internet today and its database was updating on a daily basis.
Included the bookmakers database which make things a lot more complicated predicting the odds prediction owned by a bookmakers on how they determine the price , prediction is just a prediction not even an AI platform such chatGPT can do this all perfectly.

Can't imagine if the football mafia database leaked & connected as well , must be hilarious.
271  Economy / Speculation / Re: Mt. Gox will release bitcoin in march - what's next? on: March 06, 2023, 07:49:04 PM
Can anyone who is a MtGox creditor can confirm if they are actually going to get their coins in March? I’ve been hearing this for years and it almost always gets pushed back.

Obviously it’s not bullish. Will be a big dump when the first transaction from the MtGox trustee wallet is moved since there are some people that probably need to sell the bitcoins because they need the funds.

What I know is that payments will be possible in Bitcoin, FIAT, and for some reason an altcoin whose name I don't want to mention at all. In other words, some will certainly decide on a bank transfer because it is a much easier option for them if they are already planning to sell BTC, and let's assume that the trustee will sell BTC through OTC.

Regarding confirmation, there is an official document that confirms that date, but as a deadline for submitting applications and correcting existing ones - while payments will start as soon as possible after that date. Maybe finally, after 10 years, the creditors will wait for their moment, and maybe not - after all, these are "super-efficient" Japanese people.

https://www.mtgox.com/img/pdf/20230106_announcement_en.pdf
I have seen these kind super tricky announcement.

And it never end well , changing the plan on how they going to pay the creditors time after time just to make them a bit more calm , relax and silent ... but then it never coming , smells like a cheap trick to gain a couple bucks while the market hit by a pretty big correction due this a-well made up boombastic news .
272  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2022/23 Season on: March 06, 2023, 07:33:08 PM
Manchester City surprised people by drawing with Leipzig in the first leg. I'm pretty sure there were so many people who lost their bet on Manchester City there. But I won't be expecting a similar scenario for Manchester City this time. In my opinion Leipzig won't stand a chance in Etihad. Guardiola must be able to motivate his players fully to destroy their opponent with their usual game plan. They made a big mistake in the previous match which led to a draw at the end actually.

They tried to secure a 1-0 win instead of trying to opening the goal gap more. But this time I won't expect to see the same mistake. I think they will win by a goal gap of two or three in the rematch.
Sure thing that manchester city on the paper statistically must win the match against leipzig next week but you know what ? Manchester city under pep guardiola since 2016 well known as a mr failure in champions league , he even blow the biggest chance to win this prestigious title back in 2021 beaten by chelsea at the final.

Poor pep , the chance for him to fail this time still there await at their own home etihad stadium, we'll just see.
273  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: March 06, 2023, 06:46:51 PM
The Dortmund team is consistently playing well. I would say their performance is stable due to their good match strategy. Not that they can dominate every match. However, their overall performance has been pretty consistent, and has earned points in almost every match. I can't remember the last time I saw a Dortmund team lose. And if this performance continues, there is no doubt that they will compete with Bayern Munich for the title. I will be happy if Dortmund can break Munich's dominance and win the title.
That took a while though, I know it is not something everyone wants to hear but Dortmund started terribly to this season. I guess that it was definitely just an issue for the short term and they got much better and right now they are playing much better, which is a good thing for them and definitely something I can see myself and agree with.

However, we are not guaranteed to never see that bad Dortmund ever again, they may go back to how they were at the start of the year and start to lose some points as well, it is not a sure thing. I hope that they won't and I hope that they would do a lot better in the long run but I do not know if they could or not.
They had this great momentum to break bayern munich record for winning the bundesliga consecutively since 2013 , everyone sick of it already and dortmund failed multiple times since then to steal the title , bayern simply too strong and consistent but this time there is some vulnerabilities in bayern munich.

Dortmund should take that advantage by breaking bayern mentality in the next meet in april 1st and not to losing points until then. Though job but now or never.
274  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Europa League 2022/23 Season on: March 06, 2023, 06:31:25 PM
I don't think United's defeat against Liverpool will affect Manchester United's upcoming matches. It was a totally unexpected defeat. No one imagined that Manchester United could be beaten so badly. It was like a nightmare. However, Ten Hag will surely learn from the mistakes made by United's players in this match and try to rectify the mistakes. And if he can correct the mistakes, Manchester United will become even stronger.

But I'm sure it will have a negative effect on how Manchester United in the upcoming matches in both Europa League and Premier League. If we think positively this game could show Manchester United they are they should b more careful they are not that strong to be sure about their victory in any team, but the negative in this team can be a bad atmosphere in the team after the match against Liverpool and the three important points they lost during this game.
Manchester united can still do better in their next game, I don't think their last game will weaken their performance for their next game. Manchester United will just learn lessons from what they experienced from Liverpool not to take any struggling team for granted.
Manchester united lost to Liverpool shouldn't affect their matches, especially that against Real Betis. Instead I believe that it should be able to strengthen the team more, so that they can be very careful when playing their other matches, and it is also a notification for Manchester united players to know that even if their team is strong that they can still be defeated.

Real Betis played a draw game with Real Madrid, this shows that they are capable to play and win Manchester united if they don't take the match very important. Though,EPL is different from Europa and the two clubs involved are from different leagues. Eric Hag needs to come up with how to lock his defense to avoid easy penetration of Real Betis. Football is unpredictable, that is the fun in it.
Or .... the team morale at united get down and beaten really hard for one more time by real betis at europa league that successfully held real madrid draw recently , right? This is a tricky one and i won't go placing any kind bet at this ipcoming match , could be really unexpected as well.

This thursday at the old trafford will never be easy for both.
275  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: French Soccer League Predictions and Discussion Thread (Ligue 1) on: March 06, 2023, 05:44:29 PM
It looks like Rennes will not be able to maintain its position in the top five, because Lille, which is under Rennes now, only has one point gap. So, with a very close point gap like this, Lille, which can basically be said to be a team that has better quality than Rennes, then of course this will allow Lille to take over the top five positions.

But yes, apart from their position in the Ligue 1 standings, I personally can still admit that Rennes has had a good performance. But unfortunately, Rennes was not lucky enough, because Rennes basically had more goal attempts compared to Marseille in yesterday's match, but Rennes still couldn't convert them into goals as expected.
In the last ten years ... rennes & lille always in competition on how who's above who in the final ligue 1 table ... both have similar statistics , sometimes lille finished at the better position and sometimes lille , so do with this season ... the different is that lille successfully win the league at 2020/2021 while rennes not.

At this point we can see the quality of lille a bit better than rennes so yeah , there is a bigger chance for lille to take over the 5th spot.
276  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: March 06, 2023, 05:34:43 PM
I would rather say they are all bad beside Napoli. The top teams have lost so many points in small games like never in recant times. Juventus being penalized with 15points made things even worse for them.
Yes, the top teams beside Napoli, they are all bad this season you didn't say wrong. Not the same like the previous season Napoli, Inter and Milan were so competitive in winning the Scudetto, but for Juventus I'm really disappointed in this team. Previously I predicted that Juventus would win against Roma, but in reality it was difficult for them, even got a red card from referee at the end of that match.
Juventus received a red card at the last moment of the game after Moise Kean committed a major foul at 99+1'. Juventus is very good at football game but they lost today's match with Roma because Roma is smarter than before. Roma is still in the number 4 position in the Italian league points table and Juventus is in the 8th position. Roma beating Juventus 1-0 is not a big achievement for Roma.  The score of the game should have been at least 2-0 or 3-1
It's true, I agree, that AS Roma played smart football from what they showed before this match. Even though Juventus tried hard to equalize, AS Roma was always able to block every attack they launched. AS Roma still have problems with their ability to score goals, so it is very difficult for them to score 2 or 3 goals in every game. This is the main job for Jose Mourinho, he must immediately find a way to make the abilities of his attackers even sharper.
It's not a problem for as roma under mourinho to score a lot of goals.

That is the way mourinho manage a team and play against big clubs ... to score for once and then defend it till die , it happens pretty often in 4 different clubs .. inter milan, real madrid , chelsea and now as roma , if you look at the statistics ... there is a lot 1-0 or 2-1 where his team has less ball possesion but win the match.

They are all against the american centralized monetary system and found a glitch then make crypto as a safe haven to defend themselves from the western evil weakening their national currency , they know and feel already the benefit ... no wonder they are into crypto in the recent year pretty fast growth.

We will see a chaotic africa or a winning one in africa depends on how they maintain these growth.

Heard about there is a lot of people can do make a living through a professional poker player as a career , well i cannot denied it but a lot more suffering than make a living for sure from what i know and experienced around my place , that is the fact and most people would agree about this.

Delusional if you think you have that chance , statsitically it's too tiny to take as a chance.
279  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: March 06, 2023, 04:22:43 PM
Bernardo Silva wouldn't really worth the money Barcelona could pay him though, that is the issue. Not because he is bad or anything like that, he is a good player but they do not need someone in that position to make this a possibility.

I feel like it would be a lot more likely and better for them if they could get some good defenders instead. Sure the money is also another reason why they shouldn't, but they shouldn't have bought these players they have last year too and found a way, so if the yare going to spend that much money, at least get someone more decent on defense, not midfield because their midfield doesn't look to be that bad to me.
Someone need to replace busquets indeed but not bernardo silva as an option , the 28 years old has his contract renewed until 2025 which it's a closed one to make the deal. A lot more option out there such as declan rice 21 y.o or manuel ugarte 18 y.o much more worth to invest in the long term.

Despite back on the radar after man city statement , the price will never fit to barcelona i believe.
280  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2022/23 on: March 06, 2023, 04:11:53 PM
Automatically, like it or not, Don Carlo's attention is more focused on the Champions League and he also shouldn't underestimate Liverpool. so let's look forward to when Real Madrid host Liverpool in the second leg later.
although the opportunity to catch Barcelona in La Liga is still open for Madrid. It's true, with a fairly busy schedule of matches, Madrid must be really careful with the rotation of players in their squad. or Madrid must focus on the UCL which still has a bigger chance of getting Madrid than La Liga.
Liverpool did look to rise by slaughtering United, but that will not reduce Madrid's strength when facing them in the second leg. I still support Madrid to qualify for the next round.
Big blow for real madrid with that draw .

They are playing like no vision with modric missing in the middle despite there is toni kroos it's like something big missing in real madrid squad as in the recent matches they are in awful form after held draw by atletico , losing to barcelona and now draw to real betis , the gap getting bigger again and barcelona fling high at the moment.
