whats the diffrence with copper members ?? maybe dumb question haha  Copper member has some advantages. It will let a legit newbie has a signature again in addition to letting him add an image to his posts... Many of these limitations can be eliminated with a copper membership. In particular, you can set a signature at Member level if you wear a copper membership. |

This is for the better, if you ask me. There were just too many fake accounts and bot accounts. The only problem is that it is very hard to acquire merit. I am stuck at 10 merit for almost a year now lol how come?
Don't expect gettin' merit in the alternate cryptocurrency board especially in the token & bounties sub...

A couple of days ago I went through the thread of an ICO that had been busted as a scam, and reported all the "Great project", "Nice team", "Looks good" type posts.
Looking at my report list today, it seems the entire thread was trashed for offering an incentive to bump. The first 20 or so reports were marked as good, but the last 9 were marked as bad.
If a thread is trashed, are all outstanding reports in it marked as bad?
Normally it should be handled and marked as good unless the patroller can't access the trashed topic maybe? Anyway, the problem is that the marked reported as bad cannot be switched to good  |

Why are you guys keep stay stilll if the campaign already 9 week that unable to make the payment.
For me personally if the campaign already not paid for week 1 or 2, better to stay away.

If the participants of this compaign wants to collect as much money as possible they will simply switch to another compaign since 777 and bitvest aren't paying that much comparing to the others in addition to the frequent delays. Personally, I am just posting as usual and I don't mind getting a reward for that. The reward will come soon or later and I am not on hurry, in case the compaign will shut down, I believe lightlord and Lutpin will inform us. I think many users share same thoughts. Cheers. |

I still believe that the press section needs to be separated from Bitcoin discussion and it should include sources that proved to report correctly and in time not reporting what others said 10 days ago...
I think we need to move the press section to "other" for example and let it exclusively contains all the articles for both Bitcoin and altcoins in the whole forums.
For the moment, i always find duplicated topics inside it, news posted in bitcoin discussion (or rarely other boards) then reposted in the press section which isn't relevant and spammy.
People should visit bitcointalk-press to get various news

google search results could be rigged to give boost to google adsense websites or google results are bad and unreliable. I agree, Google has some limit and even some censorship but this isn't the spirit of what Trump is seeking. Somebody over in the Wall Observer thread said CNBC ran a documentary on Bitcoin tonight about a half hour before the rise.
I really doubt this documentary helped by a way or another the rise of the price. The recent move upward was progressive from around $6,300 to $6,600-6,700 then +$7,000 People not involved in cryptocurrencies and watched the documentary will take a time thinking before start buying BTC. |
