301  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Trying to buy a massive amount of hardware!!! on: July 22, 2015, 12:01:00 PM
You can't reason with the Chinese, not Avalon and not Bitmaintech. If it's above $1M you could ask Bitfury - also waiting for Spondoolies might be an option...

I dont think it's really fair to blame a entire race.....

I think getting so close to next gen is part of it.  Hopefully lketc, bitmain, SP, SFards, etc will all have some consumer gear once we hit next gen.
Hopefully only SP to have some gear. Speaking of blaming entire race I will vote for AVALON  Despite of the hate here against them. In tech terms they are the only ones who know what they are doing - exelenT hardware and a TRULY OPENED SOURCED CODE including PCB layout and PIC part - nobody (had done) is doing this at the moment. In business terms avalon learned their lesson with Yufo involvement stollen chips drama and so on and I do REALY hope that they have closed that chapter and have no business relations with comrades if this is possible at all in China .
302  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: ANTMINER S5: 1155GH(+OverClock Potential), In Stock $0.319/GH & 0.51W/GH on: July 22, 2015, 10:07:49 AM
0.2 w/gh is a big step! If they can do this, there will change the market for sure!  Grin
No shit Grin
They will do nothing until next bubble  Grin
And do remember to remove 30% from advertised hash rate and double w/GH in order to face real world from China specs Grin
Finaly be prepared for a battle with bright and shiny Chinese web and closed source shitty software...
How nice a?
303  Other / Archival / Re: How (and why) to use the Relay Network on: July 21, 2015, 08:03:18 PM
The real problem is not that your btcd is overloaded. Every btcd will reach max peer count sooner or later. Just make sure that there is always a room for relay client
Can I say that my btcd with 150 peers is overloaded - no of course. I just want it to work that way but I do always have a room for relay client always
304  Other / Archival / Re: How (and why) to use the Relay Network on: July 21, 2015, 07:19:28 PM
Super  Wink
Listen to Mat advise ...
You need to hack your Bitcoin or to restart it while relay is running as temporally solution and pray to good it will connect Tongue
Note if relay client disconnects from btcd for some reason other peer will take it's place and same shit will happen again
305  Other / Archival / Re: How (and why) to use the Relay Network on: July 21, 2015, 07:03:37 PM
p3yot33at3r,

What is your isp connection?
My impressions are that you are using some kind of DSL with PPPoE or dhcp.
You need a static Routable ip in order to play this game. If you are behind nat your router gw is a private ip or your Routable ip changes too often that will kill your tcp connections for sure Wink

If your ip is public and static you can try kano tcp6 sock hack
.

The above is a BULSHIT Forget it

Back to your problem
I do not think that dropped connections have anything in common with bitcoin rpc max threads at all.
Relay client is not using RPC at all. It talks raw to btcd and relay servers
Other thing to check is your BTC max peer count. I had this problem when I reached max peer connections and I have restarted relay client it would never connect.
So one of the hacks to  my btcd deamon is to use peer -1 and always to have a room for relay client  Wink
I am running btcd 0.11 and relay with kano hack (because it never worked without it-thanks kano) and after block downloading again after mats incident it works just fine no issues

did fried cat apear or is dead?Smiley)

I wondered this aswell.  If he now lives on a island enjoying life, or if hes back in bitcoin somewhere.

Would be interesting to know.
you wish Wink
Despite of us who can be robbed scammed from companies all over the world CHINESE comrades never forget Grin
I guess he missed to pay to someone and who knows what happend...
Same will happen with bitmain sooner or later. Comrades do not care if btc Is 1k or 1 euro. They want their money and unfortunately there are no chances comrades to be scamed Grin
307  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Trying to buy a massive amount of hardware!!! on: July 21, 2015, 12:43:36 PM
Trying to buy a large amount of hardware. If anyone has any advice and can connect a large deal, we can cut a portion for a finders fee. I am completely unsatisfied with the current options on the market...
Pm Guy from spondtech.
Good luck

309  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: BITMAIN announces Antpool on: July 21, 2015, 11:05:09 AM
Maybe isnt only one user (i didnt say that 20ph is one person)
There are so many newcomer in bitcoin mining in every countries.
They always search pool that give high payout and less fee.
Or maybe bitmain moved 20 ph somwhere else to keep decentralization propaganda allive   Grin
310  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: BITMAIN announces Antpool on: July 21, 2015, 10:34:14 AM
justice is harsh for bad luck - 25% cut in hash rate from 80 - 60 PH/s

or is it just bad luck?

Antpool please fix your issues this time before you dwindle to 6PH/sec like GHash.io

UPDATE: OH..... dear - the night AntPool fell from grace - 52 PH/s now

They will go down to 0 as long the communists start to charge for electricity. As long as they pay the ransom to people with power they will rule the BTC world. They have it all free chips a lot of men power to assamble and cheap components also. The only thing that may go wrong is BTC price to fall or to start paying for electrycity as all of us do!
I do hope that second will happen very soon if BTC price stays same Wink
What happend to ghash.io is not because we unpuged our 20g 1k eur miners, but because THEY unplugged their farms and went out of the game ....
BTC is still very risky business with zero or loss short term return. Bitmain took the wave on top of the bubble, made good money. I am damn sure that most of them were taken from the party but life sucks sometimes Grin As long as he is making 1cent per miner ant pool will stay allive  Grin
The comrades are the ones to decide how long pool will stay allive!
311  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [ANN] TBDice.org solo pool for Technobit DICE owners/testnet.tbdice.org pool on: July 20, 2015, 05:47:03 PM
Bellnick,
Please do read once again pool home page. In order to solo mine and get block reward if you find it, you need to use your BTC adress as user name

Does no one use it any more?
Does it still work?

I've not been able to get it working since upgrading to Bitcoind v11 a few days ago.......... Sad
I'm on 0.11 as of recently as well. Perhaps that's the common issue...
I am on 0.11 also

My relay said
Code:
Relay network is using a later version (PLEASE UPGRADE)

So I obediently upgraded. I can't see any blocks being propagated in the messages any more.
That is odd. I upgraded this morning and commented out some TX printf's

I see blocks but i am wandering why do i see

???Relay network is using a later version (PLEASE UPGRADE) Huh??

As long as people keep pointing hash to this pool, there is no incentive for a change.  Since they've still got over 70PH/s, it doesn't seem too many people are doing much complaining about their practices.

Which is why I point my actual miners here.  My friend provided his office and 1.5 kwatts at 3 cents  a kwatt and I  provided the miners.

Pointing them here gives us simple easy predictability of income.  No other pool does it as well.

REALY?
Having in mind that net diff stays more or less same each pool operated by honest people shal give same predictable income. The only thing you need is patience....and you can be sure that 100% avarage luck is not a science fiction...

Yeah it is very hard to explain to Chinese "engineers" that something is totally wrong. As long as it is working "somehow" they will do nothing about it and there is no force on earth that will make them think the opposite  Wink
They are just copy pasting from each other and that is all.
And they do not care..
The usual excuse is please do understand...we will put more men's power.
You need to put more brain power folks and make things right!

Did anyone else notice that Antpool got block # 363894

https://blockchain.info/block/00000000000000000ce42ddb0d4033f6462d1070b6f3dc0078610605793f4965

but that its not recorded in their Stats/block history or payout - and its a valid block?

www.antpool.com/poolStats.htm
Using a certain pool is meter of trust. Do not count on pool stats or that blockchain will show you all blocks mined by pool. If in doubt just CHANGE POOL.

My intentions are not to argue with you. But for me each valid TX which contains fee is not a spam.

Sending money to yourself constantly is spam.  I don't care what fees you pay.  It is spam.  Period.  You are filling the network and everybody's hard drives with JUNK data that serves absolutely no purpose.  The "stress test" transactions were spam by any rational definition.

Arguing that because a fee is paid it's not spam is simply wrong.  I get a ton of junk mail in my post office box that companies pay to have delivered to everybody.  Doesn't change the fact that it is junk mail.
Oki let us not fight because of it. everybody has own oppinion yours and mat is spam my is opposite
Peace...
