I honestly have no idea what those names mean or what they are.

They seem like 2 peoples names.

Maybe im behind on some information.   

A suggestion would be to invest and HODL onto Bitcoin, Ethereum, Ripple, NEO and Stellar.

All these are good for investing long term.

This is true but i would like to add that out of the 300 coins, 200 of them have no real use or potential, so that leaves you with only 100 coins to think about investing in. But only the top 50 really have good potential.

I suggest watching the following altcoins, because they do have potential to be higher in the new year to come.

Ethereum
Ripple
NEO
Stellar

These coins have great potential, and have show that they give out good profit too.

What a fun thread, when Bitcoin price was still $450 and no one really cared much, now it's reached $17K and everyone is like "woah, i should of invested back then"

That would be something amazing if you could see the future for real. But no one can actually predict what the market will be, especially in Cryptoworld because it's manipulated mostly by high rollers.
It would be nice to see Ethereum at $1k by 2018 but even if it does reach that height, i recommend you divide your investments into a few altcoins and not just one.

It will be nice to see Ethereum jump over $500 and stay there for a few good weeks and possibly go higher.
I'm confident that it has the capability to do so in the near future.

I too recommend Ethereum for long term, but if you want to make faster profits look at other altcoins too, like Dash, IOTA, Stellar and Siacoin.

These tend to be profitable coins.

If you have a large capital invest in Bitcoin, if you have less and feel you cannot invest in that, then look at coins like Ethereum, Ripple, IOTA or Stellar.

These are long term investments and have potential to give good profit too.

Ethereum has proven time and time again that it's a strong coin, its most definitely the less volatile of the lot. Something to remember is that every other Altcoin came from Ethereum.

Ethereum is a great Alt hence why most investors and traders have Ethereum in their wallets.
