It's actually a great thing when the price finds somewhat of a stable point at a certain level. I think for this month we'll see the price sit in the range of $450 where it can go up or down like $10-20 at most. I think the real action will start in the month Juli.

A boring year? I think it will be a very amazing year instead!, I have no doubt that halving will mean a significant turning point that will definitely change the history of altcurrencies. And this great expectation will increase as the date approaches.

I don't understand how anyone that has any knowledge would have said this. Everyone knew that 2016 would be fantastic year for bitcoin, lots of technical improvements and a guaranteed price rise. Only the biggest FUDsters and in general idiots would think 2016 will not be a fantastic bitcoin year.
Which technical improvements you have particularly in mind? It is end of April and for now nothing happened in that regard. The SegWit software update will happen in the next few months. It will increase the block size slightly. |

I think it's a great opportunity. not always the coin will fall and disappear instantly. there will be time also a coin upward. I still believe there will be time for you to buy all the coins and then a big profit from this transaction. If we buy the bitcoin for the long term, the price will always rise. But if you buy the altcoin, you might lose money. |

I think they are both good but I also think you cannot compare them together because one is a currency and payment method and the other one(paypal) is only for payments(transactions).
Bitcoin is a becoming a real currency and wants to become a currency, with paypal this is not the point at all.
I disagree, you can still pay with them both and they are both used for transactions and payments so I think you can compare them with each other. Overall I think the bitcoin is much better because the lack of security at PayPal is clearly visible and its also that PayPal indeed limits accounts very fast because of suspicious behavior... As you can see now you see that Bitcoin is getting more popular and that is because the value is going to rise and that is quite nice for the currency itself. But users from paypal are also going to stop using paypal and they will now use Bitcoin more and that would be perfect for Bitcoin. I think the users of paypal will keep on using the paypal if bitcoin is adopted by paypal. The fee will be lower. |

We are going to break that value soon and that is perfect for the people that is already waiting for a price increase because now we can maybe earn some profit soon.
But the bad thing of Bitcoin is that nobody will know when it is going to stop rising or start.

Maybe it is time to reload on ETH: Btw, I think a double-top for ETH at $15 is likely. Too much bad news has come out, sentiment is negative, and I had always said it would bounce at $7. There needs to be a GPU mineable alternative to Bitcoin, same as the role Litecoin provided. It doesn't matter that ETH has no adoption. It is purely a store-of-value arbitrage/speculation proposition.
So we should buy now, when the price reaches $15, we will sell. That is quite easy profit to make for us. |

If it hasn't reached $500 before the halving it will surely pop over $500 afterwards. It may not stay there long, but the hype will push it over for a while.
We still have around 3 months before the block halving takes place, so there is plenty of time to build up enough support to get the price over $500. Even we have a time to build a walls at the price $499 it's not easy to try push up the price if all trader try to dropping a price as deep as they can. The bitcoin price has reversed, it is less than $440 now. So it is still in the correction stage. We will see. |

The price of Etehreum has risen over 10% from recent low. Is that the turn around or just a dead cat bounce?
It hit the 0.382 fib line (of the low last year to the peak) on the nose, so it's certainly a good candidate for a reversal. I do think it's a bull trap myself, as BTC still looks like it will break 500 USD, but each to their own. But the bitcoin just crashed to below $440. The Ethereum did not rise much. So the Ethereum is still directionless. |

My personal opinion is that we will go back to the 300-400 range. However, I don't think we will go under 300$. How about you guys  already done...  the next step is 600$ and we wiil reach them in 2-3Months, i think... Sure price won't go below $400, as quoted above the next step is $600 and again great increase during the time of halving. I think the $600 price could happen just before the halving or during the halving. Then the price will rise further after halving. If the current trend of price rise continues, the $600 price can be reached with a few weeks. However, I do not want price to rise too fast. The current trend did not continue. The price of bticoin dropped below $440. For the believers, it is buy time. |

The bitcoin price is around $460 now. It is just 40 dollars away from the 500 level. If big whale wish, it could be achieved in a week.
Even if whales don't wish the price rise of these days will surely take it towards $500 within weeks. Even if the growth is stopped right now by whales, halving will give the break. In a few weeks, even the big whales will not be able to suppress the price any more. Bitcoin are becoming popular. |

I prefer bitcoin above all currency's because I think its much safer, not a lot phishing websites and also the fact that you cannot get robbed.
Plus its also that the bitcoin is a real currency, paypal is not a real currency its more a pay method that you can use.
Why do you say tehre are fewer phishing website in bitcoin related business. When it becomes popular, there will be scam sites as well. |

&Too many hungry miners Need to sell
I am a miner. I will not sell below $10. In fact, I am also buying. The price will be $50 later this year. There are few things I am confident of when it comes to crypto, but Eth not reaching $50 this year is one of them. Depens on what Vitalik still has in store... Any big announcements could push the price easily. As long as we cannot tell, everything's just speculation. I think ETH has the resources to build connections among the big players, the question is if they can deliver on time (which should be possible with regard to their funds for development)... The Ethereum projects have delayed many times. But it still deliver. So I have some confidence in it. |
