301  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][CrowdSale Ended] NVO Decentralized Exchange | MultiWallet on: December 27, 2017, 04:36:55 PM

What is that saying Cool4y? Game, set and match?

From two weeks ago...

https://steemit.com/dex/@cool4y/introducing-nvo-cross-platform-modular-decentralized-exchange-could-it-be-the-next-big-thing

(not sure how to embed on here or if its even possible)

You're insane. You can't make up your mind. Your article on steemit shows it. No one should take you seriously.

Once again, you avoid the real and legit questions: ETA for fixing the bugs? - None. ETA for wallet improvements? -None. ETA for listing on normal exchange? - No. How many people work for NVO and who are they? - Nobody knows. Improved communication, PR guy, marketing? - NO. When Dex? Even devs said they don't know and can't provide deadlines. You wonder why? Because they messed up dozen times when deadline was set. Every investor has the right to get an updated roadmap rather than the typical "soon" right? This is could take forever, as i said they are amateurs.

Why would you put an ETA when you have no idea when it'll be complete? Seems counter productive and only ends up making the general public think that there are 'delays' just like with the (very early) wallet release.
302  Economy / Economics / Re: Still Buying Bitcoin at $100K? on: December 22, 2017, 03:15:12 AM
Lol good idea. This thread will seem normal in a little while. Look at that dip though, wow. That's really showing those newbies what bitcoin is all about. Volatility is it's middle name.

I'd suggest earning rather than buying, but that's just too difficult for people it seems.
303  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][CrowdSale Ended]🌟🌟🌟🌟 NVO Decentralized Exchange | MultiWallet 🌟🌟🌟🌟 on: December 19, 2017, 12:44:57 AM
Personally, I didn't have any issues buying NVST multiple times from counterparty, It took a little time for the transaction to be completed each time, but It also worked perfectly each time.

It's just very cumbersome, as you first have to buy BTC, then XCP and then NVST.
cumbersome, really ? it only takes a few clicks  Grin
To be fair, crypto is usually pretty much instant. Meanwhile having to three exchanges almost reminds one of traditional bank transfers. Cheesy

It's cumbersome, but if you want to take the cumbersome route you'll end up making out a lot better in the end. Now would be the time to buy, before it's easier for people to invest. Once that floodgate opens there will be many people that where on the sidelines waiting, that will want to buy up what's available. I'm in for the long term, just like a lot of investors.
304  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ★★DigiByte|极特币★★[DGB]✔ DigiSync v6.14.2 - DigiSpeed - Segwit -DiguSign on: December 17, 2017, 09:49:33 PM
Undoubtedly it will cost next year more than $ 1, I have a network of insider information from developers that DGB will cost more than $ 20 next year!

DGB is on fire today  Grin
Is 10$ per coin possible for dgb?

Comments like this are why I'm a bagholder ffs. Delusional newbies that don't have a clue.

You do know that the supply of digibyte is 21 billion right? You think it's going to be worth more than all of the top 14 currencies excluding Bitcoin? That's beyond delusional. I'm all for it, but I don't see that ever happening.
305  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][CrowdSale Ended]🌟🌟🌟🌟 NVO Decentralized Exchange | MultiWallet 🌟🌟🌟🌟 on: December 17, 2017, 09:40:35 PM
Does anyone know if the temporary exchange will have altcoin v NVST pairs or will it just be bitcoin v NVST?Congrats on the wallet release which looks very professional.

They haven't given many details, but my understanding is that it'll be bitcoin. I could be wrong on that.

So, I can't import my NVST from my bitcoin address to the wallet yet ? Right ? Just for sure... I did a research on that and couldn't find a way to do it.

If you know how, please let me know.

Thanks !

No, you can't. It should be in the next update from my understanding though.
306  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BITCOIN HOLDERS AND SLEEPLESS NIGHTS on: December 17, 2017, 07:00:33 PM
Goodness. If you've loosened your bitcoins I would suggest tightening up security again. This sounds like a travesty.

I sleep like much better than a baby knowing that I'm not trusting a bank with my money and I'll never have to again.

If you can't handle your own security then that's a pretty sad life you live, relying on others to hold your own money. Should I hang onto the feed to your house for safekeepings too?

What happens when we have the tipping point where everyone is using cryptocurrency and the banks start to go bankrupt 1 by 1? Will you still be sleeping alright then, knowing that your bank is next on the shopping block? Oh no wait, big daddy government will just print more money and bail them out over and over until the hyperinflation makes your currency worthless. Good luck with that!
307  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How is your investment percentage in crypto on: December 17, 2017, 06:54:41 PM
As of right this moment, 95%. If you asked me a year ago it would have been <20%. I just never saw the need to rebalanced my portfolio. I'm okay with taking on more risk as time goes on.

I'm up 445% since August 14th. That's when I started adding info all in one spot to see how my investments where doing. I've only earned bitcoin and sold it, only bought a couple $100 or $20 here and there, so my investment is basically 0 and I'm very happy with where I am now.
308  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The hacks just keep on coming on: December 17, 2017, 05:41:09 PM
"NiceHash, a well-known cloud mining Ponzi Scheme, experienced this risk firsthand when about 4,700 Bitcoins were stolen* from the site’s account. The platform’s CEO, Marko Kobal, had this to say in a video statement on Thursday: "Hehehe idk it's all gone. Oopsy daisy."

* Internally moved to a different wallet.

309  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin will reach 20k price point before Christmas on: December 16, 2017, 04:21:00 PM
Christmas? Why so conservative? I'd say in the next couple of days according to the surge we're seeing right now! There's no better time to HODL!
310  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Over 500 Billion dollars market cap, what if big investors cashes out on: December 16, 2017, 04:18:13 PM
If a big investor cash out then it'll be even less noticeable than ever. The market will gobble it up like it's nothing.
311  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do you Measure Profit on: December 16, 2017, 03:43:02 PM
I'm a bitcoin HODLer. If I invest in something else, I've invested with my bitcoin, expecting (or hoping) that I'll end up with more bitcoin in the end, or at least that my investment is rising faster than Bitcoin. Seeing the overall fiat value is helpful for my whole portfolio, but I don't know what each coin is worth in fiat. People think litecoin and ethereum are doing great because they hit all time highs in fiat. I think they're doing the same as usual because they're nowhere close to the bitcoin value ATH.

If you have fiat you're definitely losing buying power each and every year, so why not take a risk and put it into crypto?
312  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][CrowdSale Ended]🌟🌟🌟🌟 NVO Decentralized Exchange | MultiWallet 🌟🌟🌟🌟 on: December 11, 2017, 04:00:39 AM
This project used to dispense coins according to BTC address? May be issued in about months? My friend told me that this coin has great potential and should exist in my wallet

It's not an airdrop. You'll need to buy tokens if you didn't participate in the ICO. They can be purchased on the Counterparty DEX.
313  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][CrowdSale Ended]🌟🌟🌟🌟 NVO Decentralized Exchange | MultiWallet 🌟🌟🌟🌟 on: December 10, 2017, 04:28:20 PM
So if I understand right: the ones who are in slack group can try wallet already? Rest of us...when? Any ETA?

Hi guys. This was one of my first ico's. Actually bought by mistake. Can anybody tell me the ico price. I can't recall anymore. Thanks!

Lol.

"Oops I sent 1 bitcoin to a random address I found on bitcointalk. Oh good it's an ICO!"

Well that's just pure luck.

The ICO price was about:

$0.51

Or

4859.37028672 = 1BTC

Or

0.00020578BTC each.

ICOs are Securities: Token Based Offerings Poised for a Rude Awakening as US Regulators May Soon Act.How will this affect nvo and it's hodlrs?

Well in case you didn't realize, NVO is a Decentralized Exchange. It's literally impossible to stop something decentralized, asking you have enough people using it.

It means zilch. They can try all they want but in the end, no one will own or run NVO. So there's no one to go after.

Arg Windows only so far! I hate using my Windows machine lol. I may just hold off. Ah who am I kidding I'm sure I'll try it out. Can't wait for this on Linux (or better yet android some day.)

What a happy surprise just as the weekend was coming up. Awesome!
317  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Steam is no longer supporting Bitcoin on: December 07, 2017, 02:10:31 AM
Lol maybe if you spent like 20k on games. If you did that's really sad either way.

Steam only just start accepting bitcoin last year! I forget when, but it really wasn't that long ago.

You're right. I'm talking out my arse.

It was introduced in April 2016 when the price was around $450. If you'd splurged on a few top ten games that day you'd certainly be out a nice car right now. Houses will follow some day.

Okay if you spent enough to buy a nice car now that would be much more realistic haha. We can agree on that. Spending $500 on games would be completely normal.
318  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Steam is no longer supporting Bitcoin on: December 07, 2017, 01:55:04 AM

There must be Steam game collections now worth more than a nice house if you could get the BTC spent on them back.

319  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Hits $14,000! on: December 07, 2017, 01:03:43 AM
$2000 a day. What is going on, everybody is HODLing?

Who let crazy into our cozy playground?

If this continues, I am going to take my toys and go play someplace else. LOL

Ah no you won't. You're hooked and we'll see you around here forever now. Welcome to the crazy world of cryptocurrency.
320  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Altcoins are dying !!! on: December 07, 2017, 01:01:41 AM
Overall my blockfolio is up. That's all I look for month over month. These short term rises and drops don't mean a thing.
