Opened my DGB wallet after two weeks and now I need to do a synch that apparently takes two weeks to complete... Did I miss something? Is there a bootstrap that would fix this extra synch?

Nevertheless DGB is slowly rising up again.

I can see that this could change by next year since a lot of upcoming development of DGB will start. It could reach not more than the range of $1 value.

Expect a higher volume before this year end and starts by next year.

The estimated time left isn't accurate in all cases. It should go much much faster.

It seems frozen, so I'll just empty my roaming folder (except wallet.dat of course) and do a resynch.

Today DGB price is going up together with BTC, just like happened back in the run up to 2600. Seems good things are happening.
Wonder if any of it was to do with the John McAfee interview.

And if I may add in all honesty , what is BTC to cost 20k? There was a bit of free cash sharing via forks + publicity on CNN etc + wider distribution network which all together gave that rise but DGB is almost a coin that works like the lightning network without the need for it . This one should be at 100 bln market cap because it's genuinely the cryptocash people need right now. Anyway we ll see how wise is the market in the next 6-12 months which I believe we'll be decisive for the cryptos in terms of who are the winners to stay and who will go.

Undoubtedly it will cost next year more than $ 1, I have a network of insider information from developers that DGB will cost more than $ 20 next year!

Based on these comments, I think I'll see what luck I have solo mining for a bit.

Comments like this are why I'm a bagholder ffs. Delusional newbies that don't have a clue.

You do know that the supply of digibyte is 21 billion right? You think it's going to be worth more than all of the top 14 currencies excluding Bitcoin? That's beyond delusional. I'm all for it, but I don't see that ever happening.

Realistic prices go as far as 5 dollars in my opinion if it reaches a bubble environment with lots of new adopters. The new implementations next year will make Digibyte skyrocket like no one ever saw in crypto history.

Don't bother solo mining, complete waste of time. Join a mining pool, it's the only way you will mine a block.

Anything is possible but a more realistic price is $1-$5 in 2018.

I think its going to trend back down for a few days/weeks. The McAfee mention and getting on a Korean exchange !seemed to make it pump a little, but 100% over a day and a half is too much. Look for it to dip back down to 100-120 then come back a little.
