301  Economy / Speculation / Re: BUY or SELL bitcoins ? What you prefer ? on: June 30, 2016, 05:58:09 PM
I am a novice, just last month to buy bitcoin, I do not intend to sell this year, because I want to hold a long.

It is a very wise opinion. From the past history, if you do not buy the bitcoin during a big bubble, the price always rises.
302  Economy / Speculation / Re: BUY or SELL bitcoins ? What you prefer ? on: June 16, 2016, 04:44:32 PM
I prefer buying right now because of the good future that the bitcoin has with all its risings that are upcoming.
In fact its rising right now so you better should be fast..

I will do the same. Not many people know about the bitcoin. The price is still very low. When it is used more, the price will rise.
303  Economy / Speculation / Re: BUY or SELL bitcoins ? What you prefer ? on: May 31, 2016, 08:41:14 AM
I think that buying will be much better than selling it will be wasted if you are selling now and that is because it is going to rise in the future and that would be nice for the people with already Bitcoin.
There are now this time a lot of people that is holding and it is nice to see that they are not greedy and just have patience for it.

Buying is good but everyone cannot afford to buy at current price, some of them even would have sold some of their coins when it crossed $500 mark.

The current price is a rise of $100 over the past month, but it is still low compared to the price in a few years.

this no time to sell bitcoin, it is only the time to buy and hodl bitcoin.

the price will soon skyrocket out of control, it can only stay low for so long before bursting out.

This is not the right time to sell for sure, either buy it and hold it for next couple of months or years, and sell when you are satisfied with the price.

Selling is not good at all, due to the fact the bitcoin has such a good future a head its just not smart, I think if you have a lot of bitcoins you can better hold it for a long time.

If you really short of money and want to buy things, it is better to spend the bitcoin directly, not to sell it.

I always prefer to buy bitcoin as an investment. For me, when I have to sell that means I have an emergency need to liquidate my assets. And that is never preferred over holding my assets.

That is right. I hold most of my bitcoin. I only use it when I need to buy something. Spending bitcoin is good for adoption.

I honestly prefer selling of course but in fact right now is not the right time to do this because of the profit you can make with it later.
The halving will let the price rise for sure so I would now buy a lot of bitcoins to later make a lot of profit with the halving.

Yeah, the price has been a little high since the last days of 2015..of course if we buy bitcoin last years price drop, I think it would really be the right time to sell it now... But if you are into profit higher than you could gain right now, better wait atleast 2 more months..

I think the bitcoin price will rise in May or June. That is just before the halving. The price will be around $520.

Can we negotiate the price in the PM?

It is time to buy now.

MIT has announced the creation of a Bitcoin Developer Fund that aims to support the work of Gavin Andresen, Wladimir van der Laan, and Cory Fields – the three leading developers of the Bitcoin Core project, who joined MIT Media Lab’s Digital Currency Initiative last year.

Bitcoin is still in the early stages, so the price is low. If you want to trade the ranges, it is OK, but do not sell all coins.
310  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Can i Mine with a dual core CPU? on: February 20, 2016, 04:18:51 PM
Mining with processor is such waste of money and power!
Those i7 processors are not cheap, and you can destroy them for a few moneros?!

I7 processor is not the one to be used for mining. If you want to mine Monero, buy a cheap processor with AES_NI support.

I really wanted to do this but I don't wanna wreck my pc.
Also noone really suggests I guess.

If you know how to undervolt your CPU and underclock it, it will not wrieck your PC. But it is not profitable anyway.

If you want to mine on your cpu a cryptonote coin and then converting it to bitcoin might be your best bet.
However don't expect to make more then a few cents worth unless you use your gpu or a high end cpu.

For cryptonote coin mining, you have to have a powerful CPU, with AES-NI support. Otherwise, it is too slow.
313  Economy / Speculation / Re: BUY or SELL bitcoins ? What you prefer ? on: January 12, 2016, 07:46:13 PM
I prefer to watch market. And buy if price is low. These days, price is fluctuating just a little bit, but there are good opportunities to buy low and sell high. I do not want for price like $1000. This is not good strategy. Bitcoin must move.

The price is within a range, so it is possible to buy low and sell high. But we do not know when the price will rise suddenly.
314  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Noteable altcoins? on: January 01, 2016, 08:14:33 PM
I am looking for noteable altcoins to look into what other implementation of software there is out there. Among the thousands of altcoins, I was hoping at least a few would stand out and have some interesting implementations code wise that could be used as future sidechain concepts.

I know of Ethereum, which is however not Bitcoin code based, which wont fit my need. I am also familiar with Namecoin, which is the direction I am looking for other reimplementations at. Please dont spam me with a copy/paste coin as I am not here to invest, but just curious about the technicalities of alt-codes.

Side chain Altcoin.. Can be claimed from BTC without spending it.

Credits has very active developers. It is first proof of deposit coin and works well. But it is never hypered.

I always buy and mine bitcoins. I never sold any. I just use the bitcoin. I buy things with bitcoin.
316  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Can i Mine with a dual core CPU? on: December 13, 2015, 08:25:27 PM
You can mine bitcoin with CPU. But that is just for hobby. The cost of electricity is much more than the bitcoin you will mine. I do not know if you can find a pool to accept CPU miner.
