So far so good. Wink

Are you referring to the update or things in general?

 Cool

Thanks! You are providing a service often overlooked in crypto that would help a lot of newbies get involved without all the pain and suffering waiting for wallets to catch up. What would be cool if wallets included a direct link to the latest snapshot so you could simply click a button and have it downloaded and updated automatically. Or, include a bootstrap file with the wallet download (optional) that would automatically install.

Just some food for thought...

I like your idea of snapshot available for new users.
It could be added to the site right next to the wallet links. Will look into that for the website update.

Cool! I think anything, within reason, that lowers the bar to entry would increase the overall use of crypto in general. I read a lot of newbie posts about waiting for the wallet to catch up being frustrating and I know some of them are leaving because the overall impression is that the technology is old or buggy. Not the best presentation when trying to capture new users.

The key to success is promotion in the cryptoworld!!!

Retweet all, talk about CLOAK, tell your friends about CLOAK, spread the PoSA3 video on all platforms....

Where else can cloak be use to buy stuff?
if somehow cloak can be use to buy something online, this could help its price go up. Merchants are very much needed. Not just marketing and provide promises. I've ben holding my cloak for months actually. Seen it go down and rise.

This is the true crux of the matter.

I've been holding mine for YEARS waiting for a place to actually use it. Marketing is needed yes, but, we need something to market, not just technology, bells and whistles but, merchants! No problem putting efforts into marketing CLOAK as long as that marketing is aimed at those who will ACCEPT it as payment as well as those who would USE it as payment.

And, yes, I know about "CoinPayments". That's 1, how about a few hundred more?  Grin

Going by the recent ICO perfomance, it will be better to be realistic about the price, 0.0003BTC will be a good start for me

I suspect the ICO will pick up a bit as the cutoff date approaches.  I'm willing to go "out on a limb" and say 0.001 BTC

Hey Guys,

Update on network condition:

So it turns out the VeriFund now has most of the coins of many previous stakers. Because of this we had to change the parameters for the VeriFund staking to accommodate so many stakes going through us and still properly distributing the consensus in the network over time. It turns out the parameters we had while they worked well for the old network dynamic, they don't work great for the new dynamic where many former stakers coins, we are staking. We now have the verifund with the right parameters to continuously stake while maintaining a fair share of the consensus. After some testing with these parameters we will release a new wallet generally that has these same parameters. They are a new more general purpose set of parameters that don't depend on certain network conditions like we had in the past. Since the network consensus dynamic changed post ICO this issue presented itself. It seems we have it all ironed out now and will continue to test these new more general stake parameters. So if all goes well we won't see the kind of network issue like this again. Also the parameters being too specific to the old network dynamic was a bit of a surprise to us which is why we had issues with the last update and why it's taken a little time to get the new more generally applicable parameters ironed out.

If you have some spare time and own a steemit account, give this post some love! https://steemit.com/verium/@birty/cpu-mining-is-back-a-complete-how-to-guide-and-profit-analysis-for-verium-mining-on-a-farm-of-single-board-computers-part-1

How will this change effect the real world generation of coins using the staking wallet?

Never mind, I get it now, should have just read the post!  Grin

With so many threads to keep up with, sometimes I just get lazy. Have to work on that...

Announcement

Two-factor authentication is now possible on our ICO site.

This feature is a bit late, sorry for the delay!

Another Announcement

We have finished our second whitepaper! It will be published on Saturday.

It's titled: "EasyDEX – A Practical Native DEX"

Soon anyone can use the Iguana wallet & EasyDEX GUI to store and trade other cryptocurrencies decentrally. That is our vision and that is what we have been developing.

Thanks for the 2FA inclusion, been a bit nervous without it!  Smiley

KOMODO looks great and I'm in. I do have a related question, how are things looking for Supernet adoption and further development as it relates to KOMODO?

EDIT: Disregard the SuperNet question. Found: https://steemit.com/komodo/@komodoplatform/a-guide-to-better-understand-komodo that explains it.

Thanks for continuing to share your talent...

We have an open communication channel with Polo and usually will have some communication when Sycoin 2.1 fork is nearing, once all of that is complete I will also put in good word to Tristan.

That would be amazing! very considerate of you! thank you very much!

The guys at SYS are good people. More cooperation like that in this industry would help turn around the bad rep that keeps seeping into every conversation I try to have with outsiders about crypto.

Did you try to talk to them?

A few of us have, I have not personally talked to him. Mostly because i would prefer his person contact info instead of just the normal submit form. If someone knows him personally they should do a smart contract with him to prove it.

I spoke to them on behalf of bitbay few months ago and they replied saying the community needs to show more interest by voting for it to be considered.

Well, its positive^^^. But i think Tristian would need to see reason, why the volume would increase on his exchange. He is quite selective/fussy.
You guys were talking about the potential benefits of the peg system you hope to implement. Play on that, and hope that he finds it interesting.

"Poloniex Coin Request"

Only takes a minute, no reason not to fill out a request people...

What a bunch of impatient crybabies. Did you guys come here expecting to "get rich quick" or what? How long was the Internet in development before it became well known and commercially viable? Oh, sorry forgot, it is still in development. How about Bitcoin then? Oh, sorry forgot, it is still in development and took years to get where it is today. Both have an army of developers and contributors.

Give these guys a break ok? They are working on a quality product, not a "get rich and disappear" scheme. How about giving them a hand or at least some support? If you all hold VRC/VRM then you are cutting your own throats with all the accusations and negativity. Grow up or get out.
317  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: - AURORACOIN - on: November 01, 2016, 08:44:28 PM
.....

It is ineffective in achieving whatever goal they have in mind yet they keep doing it. We need to stop "doing it" just because we can and work together toward the goal of transforming governments and social structures so they work with the people and for the people not against the people. Remember NOTHING is impossible, there is a peaceful solution to every problem as long as you have a bigger gun...  Cheesy

Now there's a guy who doesn't want to change the system unless the changes are his.
