301  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling: process vs outcome on: February 05, 2020, 11:10:56 AM
I'm open to both the process and the outcome of a gamble as it happens. The process ends up being exciting especially for betting, usually with esports for me, as I often watch CS:GO matches and I enjoy the process of analyzing and determining the potential winners of a match and various other details. I do suppose with other less involved gambles it's not as important as the outcome, though ultimately in gambling the outcome can be the best part.
Yes, it really depends on the game we are playing or how does the person handle his game. Some of us want to determine the process of the game carefully, for us to have the right prediction of the winners and everything, some of us is on the outcomes or the price that we can get when we won, or when lose, it is just a playing safe move for me. So I'd rather choose the process over the outcome.

Every country has its own jurisdictions and we should obey this and avoid putting on jail. A gambling license is required as a certificate of a gambling company that allows them to operate gambling under what jurisdiction they had. Operate gambling legally and without any complication may happen in the future. If you are changing your mind regarding how to get a Gaming License I'm sure you will realize how important it is.
Especially in terms of gambling , it could be process and have papers from the government ,it is must. The site can be browse in every part of this world, so meaning it is needed to be licensed in case of everything and so that the local government will not banned it , and it will not prohibits its countrymen to use that. Here in us , every gambling activity has the government licensed on it.
303  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Crypto gambling websites need to add self-control functionality! on: February 05, 2020, 06:05:37 AM
The idea sound good enough but the question is, is it actionable?
The truth is, many gamblers will know about this feature and are aware of how it can benefit them yet they won't use it. Especially when the loss in games, they will keep on playing hoping they will win. The self-control of gambling come from within, that is the self-will. Anyone that wants to shy away from gambling addiction should have good will power to say no.
Yes, self control comes from us, we are the one who controlling it, even that site has that feature I am sure that it is optional and yet you will not try that, or even you will try it still, you will be bored and turn off that self control thingy. You need to have that in yourself ,  it is not possible for the gambling site to do that thing, since they will lose some money and traffic if they do that .
304  Economy / Economics / Re: BEEN IN THIS GAME FOR 6 YEARS on: February 05, 2020, 02:53:24 AM
I can appreciate you for predicting it correctly, but the thing is, it is indeed really really unpredictable. Definitely many predictions come true and even I am optimistic about bitcoins future but as honest as I would be, truly, even I have doubts regarding it because, doubt is essential to belief and 0.1 btc can surely be attainable, but I think it's better to buy altcoins than to hold 0.1 btc now. Even if Bitcoin reaches $100000, it will just be 10x returns based on today's price.

Yes maybe OP either just get lucky or he really knows the market so well, but like what you have said, market is very unstable and it cannot be predicted as of now, so I can say that whales are still manipulating it, just hold your bitcoin now it will be the safest thing that you may do, because bitcoin will pump any time, when bitcoin pump sometimes altcoin dumps, so I think not converting your bitcoin will be the good idea now.

I'm a type trader who are not relying on luck because I'm not lucky after all and there is no guarantee of returns if I will rely my decision to it. My decisions are often from the data that I learned in different researches and studies. Through experience, I manage to handle risks and I'm now used on what is happening in the market

I agree with you, I did not believe in luck in trading, maybe in gambling I would believe that but I think it is not applicable here so we need to research and understand the cryptocurrency market as well, just continue to trade, sometimes we lose but we learn.
305  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Conor McGregor vs Manny Pacquiao on: February 04, 2020, 06:31:13 PM
Yeah, that's what I think also. It's impossible for Manny Pacman Pacquiao to fight McGregor in the hexagon since Pacman will surely lose. So definitely it will be a boxing match and we all know that Pacman has a lot of experiences on punches unlike in MMA where you throw punches with just force. Boxing is very unique and it requires a lot of strength physically and mentally so good luck to McGregor if he'll try to challenge PacMan.
But who knows right? Maybe it could be possible, I think people would love to watch that since McGregor is a MMA fighter, we all know how MMA fighter recklessly punching and kicking their opponent, where in boxing most of the time they are using their shoulder and hand strength together with their feet but without kicking and it is needed to have a good timing and strategy where Pacman is more good at that. But again who knows ? It will be a good fight after all.
306  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Win a Presidential plane... on: February 04, 2020, 02:50:28 PM

It's one in six million, to be more precise. But I like your assumption that the government could buy it back, and then arrange a new raffle. Do you know such examples from the past, btw? If I won this plane, I'd sell it half price at the first opportunity because it's not that easy to sell something for $65 million even if the real price for it is two times higher. It would be good for me, because $65 million is still a very good money, and it would be easy to do for the government with $150 million from the previous raffle.
Does the plane is still on raffle? I want to join as well, I think for me it is better not to sell it, I will make it for rent, will offer it to some tourist or airline company for a lower price but for a long term rent. So that I will have even a small earnings but for a lifetime if ever. I'd rather make it that way since if I will be given a chance to won, even I bet only a 25$ it could be a big profit for me.
307  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Where to open an online Bitcoin Casino on: February 04, 2020, 11:47:20 AM
Online gambling law differ from countries to countries. You probably should hire a legal team so that they can advise you what to do and what not to before you start taking some huge steps or else you might fall into some deep trouble. Probably a quick google search might help you get the information you are looking for? And why would someone play on an unlicensed casino while are tons of other well known casino with a license? You probably should rethink about getting a license.
Yes, we need to obey the rules, especially in gambling specifically in casinos, because we all know that in casinos a huge amount of money is can be get by winning a jackpot, and also a large amount of money is being regulated every day, thought you want to operate it in an online still you need to have your business licensed to operate it and run in online.
308  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How often do you gamble? on: February 04, 2020, 09:20:01 AM

As long as he can have control of gambling, I think he will be fine at playing gambling even if he bored. The important thing in the gambling games is we need to have the power to set the limit, including controlling ourselves in gambling so we can prevent or avoid the big losses. But most people who are playing gambling cannot control themselves, so that makes them get a big loss. They will regret once they lose control of gambling because they will lose all of the money.
Yes , but  I dont like to recommend gambling everyday, it is not good for me, except when you are a professional trader and that is your day and night job. You need also to take a rest for your mind to refresh, sometimes we made mistakes because we are too tired playing , so I recommend having atleast a 2days break in a week have time in yourself as well.
309  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 💩 We are now in the “shitcoin” season? 💩 on: February 03, 2020, 09:09:37 PM
There are lots of projects that were developed and becomes shitcoin but we cannot do anything about it because of look at the market as of now. It is not actually in a good condition but we can see that it is recovering from its downfall. We are all hoping that the season wherein almost all projects become successful happened when bitcoin reaches twenty thousand dollars. Time like that is a golden era that we can't forget because it makes us profitable in every way. Still, continue to support cryptocurrency and projects that are coming until such time that the market will rise up again.
It is easy to create a coin ,that is why many people tries to make a new project hoping that their coin might be sucessful too, but there are wrong. That is why in year 2018-2019 a lot of scam projects has been created, there are a lot of victims as well. I hope this 2020  it would be a change and I want to have a rule in creating a coin so that people would hardly to do that, as well exchanges, many exchanges has been created as well.
310  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: February 03, 2020, 02:23:50 PM
On and off the court, Abueva is really a problem.

With committing offenses against the rules of the PBA like the example above, that would mean he is not really doing things to show the commissioner that he has change and he wants to come back and play, maybe playing outside could give him another income while he is still under suspension but he was not thinking his future violating the rules.

I don't know if we can ever see him again in the PBA, his life could be a mess right now.
Calvin Abueva, always having some problem in his game, maybe yes, he is a skilled basketball player but yet, honestly speaking he is a pain in the ass of his team and his manager as well, he always creating fight in the game, his temper makes him banned in some of his matches, but he is trying to lift up the banned on him based on this article:=https://sports.inquirer.net/380227/calvin-abueva-doing-everything-he-can-to-get-pba-ban-lifted-says-alas , also he is doing more good things so that he could be back as a better man said in that article.

Abueva, other PBA players who got caught playing in ‘ligang labas’
Even while serving his current indefinite suspension from the PBA, Calvin Abueva continues to hog headlines for all the wrong reasons.
The Phoenix Pulse Fuel Masters have reportedly fined their mercurial star an undisclosed amount after playing in an unsanctioned “ligang labas” basketball game in Montalban, Rizal on Monday. Abueva hasn’t played a PBA game since June, after being handed an indefinite ban by Commissioner Willie Marcial for two separate infractions.

This could be some of the reason while his suspension was still not left until now.
Yes, maybe the league wants to teach him some lessons, so that he will not be doing some shit things again, and he will be learning to be a low key professional player as well, let just wait the league on this things. Hope to see him in tokyo olympics as well. But really? he played here? I am living here in Rizal, maybe I am too busy that is why I didn't notice that he was here.

312  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Conor McGregor vs Manny Pacquiao on: February 03, 2020, 08:05:33 AM
Million dollar fight once again. Definitely, such money will be going to his bag of million once again. Anyway, I am not sure with this anticipated match either, as McGregor's attitude seems changed recently, so not yet sure if he will took crowd's desire. I want to reiterate "if this isn't enough for him". He got enough money though, totally enough to spend with his life time even though he doesn't have to work anymore. He's just fighting, to satisfy audience/boxing fans, which I do believe. And his recent fight, he won, which fuels him to step up in the ring though his body can't keep to what he was before.
Yes it could be a million dollar! Since many people are wanting it very bad , Mcgregor came up in the different path, but I rather bet that a rematch of Pac and Mayweather will be the fight of the decade and many people will bet kn each side and it could be a billion bet as well. I want that rematch so bad as well, I hope they could make it possible.
313  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Crypto gambling websites need to add self-control functionality! on: February 03, 2020, 05:01:18 AM
The bottom line is to not expect anybody other than you to help you with this and especially not casinos which are only looking out for people like yourself and others to profit from. I'm afraid you have to maser the strength to do it or else it may get too problematic for you. Perhaps, thinking about the reasons why you're doing it and the benefits it would bring you if you're not spending all your money on gambling  Undecided
Only you can stop you, a feature in that in an online casino is not yet possible, self control is needed in order for you not to lose too much, descipline yourself also ,make a limit , for example after 6hrs of playing you will stop and rest, whether you are winning you need to stop but when experience losing streak after 3hrs of playin ,you need to stop. In that case you will have a self control that you are wanting OP.
314  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How often do you gamble? on: February 02, 2020, 11:52:48 PM
I gamble when I feel bored or it comes to my mind and wakes up that drive. It's like the need to eat something. Sometimes you want a normal dinner and sometimes you want to eat some fast food. For me gambling is like that fast food you eat once a month or twice a month and forget about it.
I do not recommend playing when you are bored, your senses aren't working, you need to stay in a good mode so that you may think well, and decide right. It will be hard if you are just playing to waste time. You need to enjoy it , savor it, and when you do , you may have fun in gambling, like me I didnt play gambling so often but I am enjoying it very well.
315  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: could it be most project don't succeed? on: February 02, 2020, 09:08:48 PM
Many factors why make many projects not success because owner never serious for promoting their site and investor do not know about their investment project, developer have give higher reward allocation for every one promote their coin like for bounty campaign participants and give higher reward about 5% to 7% allocation reward for their participants.
Many projects will soon to failed as well, because of the high competitional rate , and like now bitcoin price may fluctuate again, we cannot determine so the chances that when they their fund it could be bad for them because the amount  they have been raised could be lessen because of the conversion factor. Also, many projects are not focuses on their main goal, they are just to focused on the amount of money that they gonna make.
316  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are the best project for investing in 2020? on: February 02, 2020, 05:55:43 PM
Hi guys,
I have one bitcoin and I want to invest it in 3 or 4 projects that have a good potential for return of investments. And because of existing a lot of projects, I hope that you suggest to me some projects according to your visions so I can study them and choose which I can invest in.
Thank you.
I dont have any good project that I see high potentials , I highly suggest that you may put you investment on those coin that has been in the top 10 you may choose which of them in the coinmarketcap. Then the rest is up to you, you need to take a risk in investing, market is really hard to understand, we need to cope with it.
317  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Turning 0.005 BTC to 1 BTC? Trading Journal | Currently 20% profit in 3 days on: February 02, 2020, 03:29:37 PM
I don't want to be pessimistic, but you must know know that the loss may happen at any time, so I consider it a game and try to convert this amount to 1 BTC.

I expect the market to be highly volatile and buoyant in the coming weeks, so some profits have been achieved, but by the end of the year you may lose all that you achieved in one week, so do not be too optimistic and do not try to fool with greed.

You may develop a clear trading strategy and you will notice your currency appreciates. good luck.
Yes, we cannot predict when does that thing might happen , so the OP needed to take this risk, im sure he is already aware in this thing, market is very unstable so as the coin, so the OP needed to go with the flow of unstable market. That profit is going high since bitcoin now is pumping as well, maybe it is because of the upcoming halving, I dont know when but I think it affects a lot. I will follow this thread as well.

Good to hear that mate, 20% gains in 3 days is awesome!!. Just imagine if you have a bigger initial capital, obviously bigger gains. But I guess your risk appetite says it all, but I can't blame you. This is really a journey and I couldn't imagine if you reach your goal of 1 BTC in just short amount of time. Continue to update us and good luck in your trading journey.
Yeah , it is just that bitcoin also have a bull run I think , that is why his first investment grows a lot in just small span of time, but Im not being negative okay, but I were him I will deduct my investment so that I could not lose too much.
318  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Twitter adds Bitcoin emoji when hashtaging #Bitcoin on: February 02, 2020, 02:26:05 PM
Just tried it!
Looks great comes in red. Nice to see twitter adding Bitcoin emoji. When will Facebook ad bitcoin emoji?
Really ? Does it work? If yes , then I think twitter do some good idea and decision and being aware in growing bitcoin community. But I think facebook will not try to add  that emoji, there are lot of pending request adding more emoji in facebook, and also they are currently building their own blockchain, so I think it is not yet possible.

Twitter's CEO Jack Dorsey has been always known to be an enthusiast of decentralized systems. It also makes more users aware of Bitcoin, and seeing a CEO of their social media site that they're on bringing it into attention, could attract more curious minds towards cryptocurrencies in general.
Really? That could be great, twitter CEO is smart! And futuristic as well, not like McAfee ooops.  But then, Im glad that twitter made that move, it could be a good effect on bitcoin martket.
319  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: So a bitcoin scam has been getting a lot of publicity in the Philippines lately on: February 01, 2020, 10:39:38 PM
In general, there's a lot of scammer in the Philippines. Filipinos are taking advantage of the weakness of other Filipinos as well. Filipinos easily believe on what they are seeing without doing further research that's why there's a lot of fake news spreading in my country. And one of that is this kind of scam. When it comes to earning money, they believe almost everything. And it's the reason why they are using famous names to make it more believable for others.
People always uses the weakness of others in order for them to get what they want to have, since Mr. Abunda really dont have a proper and wide knowledge about crytocurrency, he could be a perfect target by them. Us , bitcoin users needed to inform our friends and even all the countrymen what does cryptocurrency all about, when this news has been spread out many people will stereotype this one, and telling that all ways in crypto is not trusted, since abunda is influencial and being scammed, normal people would believe in what they hear and see not what will be the real crypto will be.
320  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How do you know if a gambling site is scam or not? on: February 01, 2020, 03:22:12 PM
For now Im playing to the gambling sites who are already operate since last few year and upto this now and have a lot of good feedbacks here in this forum.
New gambling sites offer free giveaway or bonus for the players register but the other technique is they give big bonus which is really not true for sure and they want for you to deposit money first before you withdraw your money and once you do that you cannot withdraw for sure. Mostly new gambling site are turn into scam so be careful before you play.
Yes this is what I always thinking before depositing in an online casinos. I give more trust to the casinos that are well knowned , and being operated for the past years but it is not only my basis , I also looking for their website security as well, i need to be sure that they has a good website security and anti DDOS website, that could be one of the main problem.

~snip
But nowadays, there are websites that are secured but are still a scam. Second thing that you can do is you should do research about the website. Look for reviews and ratings, if there aren't enough reviews then you should be worried.
Yep! Check their website, just type their website name it could be too easy to put their names in the search engine and you may found out if they are having a bad reviews and accusations as well, if they have? Then don't play there.
