301  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto or Real estate on: April 04, 2024, 06:45:24 PM
I would probably prefer to make profits from Crypto to put into real estate. And it goes on like that. Because for me Real Estate is more important in life. But I consider crypto to be much more important to learn to gain profits from investing in it. So I want to make more money from crypto to be able to buy more property or real estate.
But if it's about the choice of which one to invest in between crypto and real estate. then I will choose based on the total capital I have. If my capital is large then real estate is my choice and if my capital is medium or small then I will choose crypto.
Have source income more than from cryptocurrency is more benefit in the future such as put investing in real estate, actually the cryptocurrency will prefer keep their money in bitcoin or altcoin but to earn more profitable and benefit in the future investing in real estate is not bad ideas.
I have an ideas when cryptocurrency become main income for us then have another passive income such as real estate investment will get many way to make money not only from cryptocurrency.

But have to understand about real estate investment, need to learn many aspect until government regulation taxes transaction each real estate investment how much to pay every year? Difference way with cryptocurrency just buy and sell but in real estate need to know many aspect and regulation before investing there.
Real estate could be somehow quite complicated but if you take your time studying about real estate investment prior to putting your funds, I guess eventually you will find it easier to invest. Same like crypto, hard and risky from the start but as you learned it, you will know that it’s not that so hard overcoming those risks.

My best option is if you can afford to invest in both, then why not? After all, we all take risk and invest in new things around us, and once they will both flourish soon, at least we have multi sources of income that will generate us passive income.
302  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does prediction in sport work for you? on: April 01, 2024, 01:40:57 PM
~snip~

If you are interested in gambling on sports, do you rely on prediction betting sites? Why?
What is the most prominent site you rely on?
No and no...It's a big no for me because that will make me lazy to create my own analysis and trust my self with sports betting.

Well, I also follow predictions from other people or we call that tipster but I don't "rely" on them as that is not the key to be successful in sports betting. you may win by following them but where is the consistency, are you sure the tipster you are following will give picks regularly? What if no tips are given, or what if in the long run the tips are no longer free?
303  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is lack of proof a problem for you or not? on: April 01, 2024, 12:30:26 PM
What proof do we still need?

If they state they are regulated and they have a license from "'''''',,, then it's us to verify if that is true, because if we are not convince, then there's no reason to play in a particular casino, that's very simple, right?

Casinos are running a business based on reputation, if they have a good reputation, gamblers will choose them because gamblers would feel their money are safe and anytime they can withdraw their winnings without a problem. personally, I don't investigate mucn, as long as the casino is popular, and when checked they claim they have a license, I always make it a go to play.
304  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you have a habit of tracking your gambling progress? on: April 01, 2024, 08:25:28 AM
What patterns I can identify and build if all rounds are random? If there was at least one constant variable, then it would be possible to try to build a pattern. What can behavior analysis also give, if when I win I am happy, and when I lose I am sad. In addition to this, all gambling sessions happen on random times. For me it is a complete random and I dont know how usage of such info might help me in future.

I guess what we have neglected here to easily track our pattern in gambling is to have an account of our bankroll. Knowing at least how much we won or loss it's the most important thing to do as you can't declare yourself a winner if you win on a certain session but in reality you're overall record is negative.

You can do that on games you think you have a chance on winning in the long run, but for games that are "random" or best refer as luck based games, there's no need to check the pattern as the reality is we all lose in the long run. your pattern only does focus if you gamble based or beyond your budget, so you can correct any mistakes you've done.
305  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What Becomes of Gambling if Sport book is taken away. on: April 01, 2024, 07:57:14 AM
You don't need a sportsbook to gamble, so if it's taken away, people will still gamble as long as there's a game. Game is created first, people gamble with friends but sportsbook sees this opportunity to facilitate bets and make some money from commissions, so if the government will decide to make sportsbook illegal or simply make them stop their operation, gambling still would exist though not on the same manner.

The thing is, why would the government do that when they can make taxes from casinos/sportsbook they regulate, so these sportsbooks are here to stay and will continue to serve us who are looking for some real entertainment.
306  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Where is the fun when you lose your money? on: March 31, 2024, 09:43:23 PM
So where's the fun when you lose your money?
It can only be for for people who do not take gambling to be a source of income, it is fun for people who only stake a small amount of money and do not gamble with the aim of becoming rich. In gambling you win some and you lose some, but every responsible gamber does not go all in trying to win money. I.e. football is my favorite sports, so it is fun for me playing on football matches and testing my prediction skills, if i lose, i try again another time, but i do not lose a lot of money so i don't cry over it.
There's no fun when we keep winning as well. I mean, we gamble ot experience the thrill and we know that it's a win or loss game, and if we have more wins than winning, that gives us the kind of fulfilling feeling that we thought we are really good in gambling. Yes, the reality is we loss most of the time, that's just how gambling work, otherwise casino would not anymore exist because we beat them.

The discipline in sticking with our budget only, tha'ts the most vital thing to do since we want to last more to enjoy more and that requires to properly manage our bankroll. You don't go all in if you don't want to get busted, I'm sure you guys know that if we do that, most of the time the result is not good.
307  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Don't do this mistakes in trading on: March 31, 2024, 09:19:03 PM
People basically lose their money most of the time when they become greedy. I have seen many traders only think about their profits when they start making profits, and then they become much more attractive. And the businessmen who fall among such people are the losers and face great problems. In trading, we should not only plan for our profit but also keep in mind that there is loss here and this is also a matter of concern. If you want to trade, you must analyze both positive and negative aspects, otherwise it is never possible to survive in the market. So before starting trading you must control your emotions and greed otherwise it is never possible to succeed and always plan properly, but profit can be achieved.
In trading, you only have two options, either you trade at a loss or for profits. However, for newbies in the market, consider it you’ll get more losses too often than attracting profits. Experience matters in trading, if you have no knowledge and experience in trading, your potentials to be in profits will be hardly possible. This is why learn to develop your skills and strategies first, that way you can control your losses and improve ways on how to maximize your profits. Trading may not be a do or die, but you’ll eventually die in distress if you keep losing your trades.
308  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tim Tszyu - Seabastian Fundora For The WBC And WBO Super Welterweight March 30 on: March 31, 2024, 01:11:58 PM

No one voted for Fundora  to win. It was probably the blodiest fight of the year, that was brutal as both fighters came to fight. Not much of a defense, it's pure offense that was displayed but the bigger guy gut the edge and had became a champion. I was wondering what was the odds for Fundora  to win via decision, I'm sure it was a juicy one but no one believe in him so probably no one here won a bet.

While watching the fight I thought the fight would be stopped anytime because of the cut from any one of the two, I was worried about Tim because the blood was uncontrollable, if not for that cut Tim could have won the fight he was restricted with his movement.
Fundora shows heart and determination also, like all the others' opinions, I like to see both fighters doing a rematch, I'm sure they will have it based on this article

I think Australian boxers are warriors. I saw the same thing happen to George Kambosos Jr against Teofimo Lopez and he doesn't look like he was bothered. It was the fight we expected, despite Fundora has a huge advantage in terms of reach and height but Tszyu didn't care enough, he still attack and give the fans a very entertaining fight but unfortuantely he loss.

I guess that was just how Tszyu fight, he just found an opponent that he could not dominate, so I believe he would lose to Thurman if their fight wasn't cancelled.

Good to know there was a rematch clause, I'm sure
Quote
Amid some confusion over whether there was a rematch clause, Tszyu’s promoter, George Rose of No Limit Boxing, confirmed his fighter had the option to run it back against the 6’6” southpaw.
“He [Fundora’s promoter Sampson Lewkowicz] knows there’s a rematch clause there,” Rose told reporters.
“If we want to take it, we’ll take it. I’d love to see Tim take that and win them belts straight back.
“I’m happy for a rematch to happen next and good luck trying to get out of it.”

https://www.sportingnews.com/au/boxing/news/tim-tszyu-rematch-clause-sebastian-fundora-cut/271576681ec62e8f764510c8

Good to know that there was a rematch clause, I'm sure Tszyu are still eager to avenge his loss, after all it's still a championship fight so if he'll win, he will become a champion again, and then trilogy will take place. It's a fight that peopel will see because they've seen how these two are not afraid to go toe to toe in full 12 rounds.
309  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tim Tszyu - Seabastian Fundora For The WBC And WBO Super Welterweight March 30 on: March 31, 2024, 12:23:22 PM
Fundora’s freakish height caused this to become a really messy and bloody fight after Tszyu’s head clashed with Fundora’s elbow. I expected this fight to be stopped by the ringside doctor or the referee but the pace slowed down significantly and the injuries on both fighters didn’t get too much worse.

Despite the height difference Tszyu was still able to hit Fundora cleanly and it looked early on like he would get a clear win. Unfortunately, the cut was affecting his vision. This allowed Fundora to jab his way to a close decision victory. The situation with the titles now becomes complicated because Crawford successfully petitioned the WBO to become mandatory but PBC had other plans involving Errol Spence. Tszyu also deserves a rematch against Fundora.

I would agree, the referee should stop the fight as obviously that elbow really did damage to Tszyu. But they let it go throughout the next 10 rounds and we can that if affected Tim in the fight.

I think it boils down to Fundora's decision, he is the champion, so he can either go with the rematch in Australia, or fight Crawford as per WBO. So let's see what his decision is. But for me, I wanted a rematch for Tim, I think he deserves if after what happened in this fight. And Fundora should be all-in to settle this score. He will have to travel though to Tim's Australia.

It's one of the bloodiest fights I've seen, both fighters soaking wet with each other's blood Tim Tszyu loses his focus because the blood is dripping in his eyes and he doesn't want to slug it out with Fundora because the punches might aggravate and worsen those cuts.

I have it drawn in my scorecard, but it can either way, but both fighters deserve a rematch Fundora proves he is ready to become a champion.
Checking the poll I created no one among us voted for Fundora, so we can call this an upset?

Tim Tszyu by KO   - 8 (100%)
Tim Tszyu By Decision   - 0 (0%)
Fundora  By KO   - 0 (0%)
Fundora  By Decision   - 0 (0%)

No one voted for Fundora  to win. It was probably the blodiest fight of the year, that was brutal as both fighters came to fight. Not much of a defense, it's pure offense that was displayed but the bigger guy gut the edge and had became a champion. I was wondering what was the odds for Fundora  to win via decision, I'm sure it was a juicy one but no one believe in him so probably no one here won a bet.
310  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Rolando Romero-Isaac Cruz to meet on March 30 in Las Vegas. on: March 31, 2024, 10:33:40 AM
Romero's loss is even worse than when he lost to Gervonta, it's very ugly for Romero he was holding on for dear life on rounds 7 and 8th the doctor even gave him a warning so many big punches are landing on Romero than during his interview it seems Rolly do not know what hit him.

Rolly thought that it was going to be an easy fight until he was hit by Isaac's left hook that left him groggy and struggling on his feet, I don't know where Rolly's career is going it's very obvious he cannot take a punch and pressure.

He was being delutional if he thought it will be an easy fight for him. Davis even struggle to beat Pitbull and he think it will be easy for him? No no... he was hit by a reality now that Cruz should be respected.. If he was faster, he might not get hit but Cruz just know how to timing it right and he like a bull who keeps attacking until he destroys his opponent.

Anyway, anyone here able to hit that round range KO? That was 7-9 rounds.
311  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What are your thoughts on the market right now? on: March 30, 2024, 09:44:02 PM
I want to stock up on alts for the spot now. What do you think, should I buy now or should I wait?
Better secure your funds into Bitcoin rather than looking for altcoins. Yes, of course, some altcoins are profitable but the idea of having them now is not a good decision. Why? Just take a look at the current market condition, we are in a bullish state and we know that altcoins never stand high long but sudden and massive drops are very possible.

If I were you, don't force yourselves into buying altcoins. Don't chase on x1000, there is no assurance for that. Better to wait until the market turns bearish again rather than choose to risk your money. Or, consider Bitcoin over these altcoins.
The best advise would still be stick to bitcoin. If you aim to generate multi sources of profits, investing in altcoins might hardly provide that. But if you continue to accumulate bitcoin through DCA, you will still achieve massive amount of profits in the perfect time. Just buy regardless of the price, because that is what DCA is all about.

However, investing in altcoins could make you instantly rich but on the other hand, it could suddenly make you homeless more than you can imagine. It’s all because altcoins never stay longer in its high price as they will eventually fall until they find it hard to recover again from its deep price.
312  Economy / Economics / Re: The benefits of risk taking on: March 30, 2024, 07:58:41 PM
Risk is when a person is exposing him/her self to dangers, possibility of incurring loss or misfortune
So many people run away from business opportunities just because they fear they will run into loose and didn't want to take such risk
I have come to the realization that the word risk is part of life and that it is better you take part in it than not
From history it has been said that the great entrepreneur and business men/woman where all risk takers when you take risk you throw your self to the real of possibilities
It's part of life but not everyone can take to face the risks because of the differences in the individual status of each and everyone. Some can take the risk because they still have enough to risk even after facing a failure. While for some, it will take everything they have if they try to face the risk. Whether they will lose what they have or they will be successful.

That's more of the reason why some people are afraid to take the risk or even run from the opportunity they have as they don't have much to risk. They will end up losing everything which will be hard compared to other people.

This is one other thing we should realize, not only the side of taking the risk and thinking of the missed opportunity. We should also think and wait for the right time because taking the risk is not the only thing we need to be successful, we also need to be prepared ourselves.
While risks are inevitable in life, but we should also learn to weigh its advantages and consequences before we start taking risks. If it can only cause harm to our present life, then taking that risk is not advisable. However, most likely risks our built to reach new heights in life, but it won’t guarantee as well that by only taking risks without awareness on how to overcome those, they will immediately bring life’s improvements. That’s not the way it works. Risks can bring positivity and negativity at some point, so we should always be cautious in taking some risks, and always weigh the outcomes and its consequences first before taking such actions.
313  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022–23 PBA Commissioner's Cup on: March 30, 2024, 01:42:53 PM
It's very silent here,.. what's new for the PBA?

I have one here, it's Marc Pingris, he is a hot topic now due to the news that he was link with Kim Rodriguez an actress I guess beacuse I've here in Batang Quiapo and she is really a beauty.

What can you say about this rumors kabayan?

https://www.rappler.com/sports/pba/marc-pingris-denies-romantic-involvement-kim-rodriguez-march-2024/

It will not be quit tomorrow because the game will resume.

We have some great double header tomorrow, [1] SMB vs Phoenix [2] Magnolia vs Ginebra...
That's fun to watch for sure and I think it will be a close game particularly the 2nd game...

About the Sakuragi, I can't blame him if he gets tempted with Kim Rodriguez, I mean she's hot... but anyway it was just a rumor, and we don't want to see a family man, known to be loyal would destroy his family.
314  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The scam of FAKE fixed matches on: March 30, 2024, 12:19:09 PM

Well, now that the NBA is investigating a possible betting scandal this thread get some new fuel.

https://www.theguardian.com/sport/2024/mar/26/nba-investigating-raptors-jontay-porter-betting-irregularities
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EwBdenyI7Vg

Funny thing, this first game also has some connection to out forum since there is a scam accusation thread against stake which blocked money and said they are "investigating" 2 bets of the guy.
First I thought this is a bs excuse not to pay the man but now this has become interesting since stake was right all along.

This is the thread: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5486388.0

On this example you can see well, even if you bet on something rigged ( knowingly or not ) , that's only the start. The next obstacle is getting paid your money. In this case so many people bet the same thing so the bet got flagged.
If an unknown bench player in the NBA gets the most betting action of all NBA players that day there must be something wrong obviously. Curious to see how this plays out.

So the casinos and the NBA have some sort of partnership here? Because as per report, it has only become suspicious because of the betting pattern in a certain casino, so with that nature, I don't see the NBA will be able to maintain its intergrity when link to a casino for any investigation.

I don't know if my analysis is correct, but this investigation has nowhere to go unless Porter is caught betting on himself or against himself which is a violation on his contract in the NBA.
315  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is playing poker online better than offline? on: March 30, 2024, 05:19:50 AM
I often watch poker videos on YouTube where the player have very good acting to hiding his cards through his flat face. I have seen them being able to win with very bad cards on their hand with a good bluff, all in his chips. So I imagine, and often play poker online, I am very happy if I get a good card and I can't hide it well so just go all in all my chips. So what do you think?, how do other players know when I have good cards when playing online?, Is by check and don't call the bet they know we don't have a good card?, I'm not good at hiding it, sometime when I have double AS, I always all in at the beginning.

If I'm getting serious like betting a decent amount, I would prefer to play offline or in our local casino as I feel it's more transparent. Not saying that online poker are rigged but between the two, I wouldn't choose online. That means it depends on the amount I would risk, if it's small, like I'm just having fun, then I go with online casino.

Personally, most of my bets goes with sports when we talk about online betting, so I'm also an online better but I choose to limit my bets depending on the kind of game I'm playing.
316  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin to the common man. on: March 29, 2024, 10:59:59 PM
Patience is the key. Not just for crypto but it’s certain for all investments. However, while bitcoin can be highly valuable for a person who has great knowledge for bitcoin, but for a common man, bitcoin is just like any other investment, the risk to lose is high if you don’t suit on that kind of investment. But if you take time to learn bitcoin and understand its nature like one is supposed to be, you will discover that bitcoin is an extraordinary, highly valuable investment. One should only learn to to take the risk and trust bitcoin, which I think only brave people can do it, as they are determined to reap the best things with bitcoin.
317  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin halving, how low the price can be? on: March 29, 2024, 09:47:57 PM
Next month will be Bitcoin halving, how far can the price go down? or how high can the price go up?

The max it can go low is 50k usd. It won’t fall below it. The reason for which I am so confident is that, as Bitcoins will go down, more people will start buying it. Moreover we know that Bitcoins are fixed in numbers, hence if more people will buy it then the price to accumulate it will increase, leading to increase the demand. Hence as the demand is high and supply is less, automatically the price will go up. Hence, 50k will be the lowest price possible this halving. Now let’s see what happens.
I might agree with that. Bitcoin price will eventually experience another price correction from this current surge, probably before halving, so setting $50k as the lowest price possible is actually what majority are expecting to see. Although there might be surprises along the way, and it’s difficult to say that we are certain with our prediction, but seeing how bitcoin price moves in the market and considering its law of supply and demand, then as much as people hope for bitcoin price to fall so they can start buying, eventually the price will go up again when the demand sets to increase.
318  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If everyone is holding their bitcoin, will there be a balance? on: March 29, 2024, 09:28:19 PM
It's impossible that's no one wanting to sell. What if we reach to the point of Bitcoin is around $1M and that's the goal of most, there will be more Bitcoins again as we've got different times and price ranges to sell.

I highly doubt that's no one going to sell by that time. I've got the same thought of it before but in each market, there will always be buyers and sellers so it's balance.

While we see the balance of it, we're also seeing that institutions are getting all of those sold Bitcoins as they accumulate like MSTR has got now the 1% supply of BTC.
Hodling bitcoin is just made temporarily, but in the end we all decide to sell because our goal is to make profits, not actually to hinder those profits from us. And where there is selling, newcomers will eventually start buying and hodling, but eventually sell in the end. As much as the law of supply and demand is applied, then there will definitely be balance for bitcoin.

People are in greed for profits, and the only way to make it happen is to sell those long term bitcoin investments. So it’s impossible to see people consistently hodling without plans of selling, it’s too odd for a greedy person like us.
319  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will BTC dip again? on: March 29, 2024, 06:58:42 AM
bitcoin still go down to at least $50k?
If you look at the current market performance it seems very difficult to expect the price of Bitcoin to fall to $50k. I see that Bitcoin will continue to increase, especially since the Halving is getting closer. So if you expect Bitcoin to drop $50k it seems likely after the Halving.

I think we already pass $50k already, currently we are seeing the price going up again in the last 34 hours to $70k. So that is a sign that we might not go down again and that $62k could be the last leg down before the eventual bull run after the block halving.

Of course, we wanted the price to go down still so that we can invest more. But then again, we have a lot of opportunities before, and that we should have taken that to buy and stash BTC. But we can still do save, but the profit is not that big as compare when we buy it during the bear market.
I’m also convinced that we will not witness again price dipping into $50k or below. The correction I think was now over and most probably, bitcoin price is already heading above $70k until it reaches hopefully $80k before halving. However, if there’s a sudden negative news that will affect bitcoin and the market, then we will witness again another price decline. But for now, I guess bitcoin price is bound to skyrocket again.

Meanwhile, I think a lot of us have plans to buy more bitcoin but that will only be possible after the bull run, that is if you want to buy at a very ideal price so you can maximize your purchase with its affordable price.
320  Other / Off-topic / Re: Who can you trust more to handle your business, man or woman? on: March 29, 2024, 05:58:26 AM
In terms of business matters and for managerial work, I actually prefer to choose on the individual's skills, not on gender. But I understand that in some places or countries, gender conditions can affect individual performance.

In my country I prefer men for work. Why not to choose a woman? If you choose a woman, there will be a decrease in performance when her emotional unstable, pregnant, high stress levels, sometimes the decisions made by women are influenced by those closest to them/their family.
It's true, gender shouldn't be a separator because in a business what is prioritized in my opinion should be skill, responsibility, professionalism and so on. If someone is a woman but they have the criteria to be able to manage a business, will we miss them? I think it would be a shame if we just missed it just because we look at gender.
However, in some communities or even countries, men are given priority. Maybe they have reasons for doing that, one of which is as you said. Apart from that, it is possible that men's time effectiveness is more flexible than that of women.
However, if I could decide, I would not look at gender differences, but would look more at the skills and responsibilities they have.
It is already known that women of today can be as good as men, gone are the days where women only serve as assistants to men. In fact, there are a lot of successful business companies that are led by women, which proves that women may also outsmart men when it comes to skills and performance.

However, in some companies that men are priority, probably it also depend on what type of business they are working. If it’s all about construction materials or barbershop, then men should be given high priority, while for those beauty and wellness, women leadership is a must. In general, both men and women are capable to manage a business, it only differs on their kind of attitude and how they manage their team business to reach their goal.
