301  Other / Off-topic / Re: How much do you earn per day on: October 12, 2016, 12:22:51 AM
Earning per day will depend on how much risk you can afford to take daily, but its hard to calculate the exact earnings on daily basis as sometimes it will be higher or lower, I am earning around 0.1 btc per day in sports betting and altcoin trading.
wow 0.1 is not bad at all, mine would be roughly .004 but this is only for signature campaign. would like to get tips for trading though as I m currently studying how it works Cheesy

Daily trade is really hard and need knowledge, months of learning and some loses... And long run need a good capital and a bit of knowledge too...
What's your bankroll to do this trades @squallleonhart?
302  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If no one spends bitcoin what might happen? on: October 12, 2016, 12:19:44 AM
This make me ask a question, how many Bitcoins are movimented in a month? and how many are "frozen"?
I say one day a thread here have some statistics about the number of Bitcoins that never got transfered to another wallet... Don't know if the people lost the wallet or just holding...
303  Other / Off-topic / Re: Will you accept bitcoin as your salary? on: October 12, 2016, 12:16:05 AM
For me getting paid into bitcoin would be just a problem, because i will have to sell all the payment to cover my bills, soo in the end even with price fluctuating above the payment time, i will be forced to loose a comission to the exchange, soo no, not interested into such payment.

Finally someone that is saying something that makes sense in this thread. Bitcoin as main salary for the majority of the people will only result in problems and annoyances due to the lack of acceptance and the high volatility. If you want Bitcoin, then simply buy it with a certain portion of your salary, and you'll be fine. No need to have Bitcoin as main salary.

The percentage to the exchanges kill all Bitoin advantage... You can pay less taxes but the exchanges will bite you.. And you know, big companies(internet, electricity, watter) will never accept bitcoin, so it's a waste of time and money if you don't want to hold it.
304  Local / Português (Portuguese) / Re: Bons sites para ganhar e investir Bitcoins on: October 11, 2016, 09:57:39 PM
305  Other / Off-topic / Re: Save you Bitcoin for your (grand) child / children? on: October 11, 2016, 09:52:03 PM
I think at the time of our son/grandson bottom and c other cryptocurrency would be known by everyone and it would be common money for many. but if we save now then after 10 to 40 years they would be very happy to get those digital asset and may be at that time 1btc would worth more than $5000 which is now about 10% of the price.

Everything is possible really.
I really wish and hope that very soon Bitcoin will become mainstream and main standard for online payments, and replace Paypal from throne.
Of course, such scenario will not happen overnight but in next 10 to 20 years is very realistic goal.
In such case, value of BTC will increase a lot and if we save some bTC funds now, it can rally have much bigger value later and help our children and grandchildren.
Can you imagine, to buy let's say 10 bTC now for $6 000 and save for your grandchildren later, when value of BTC can reach $ 5000 or more? Your descendants will be eternally grateful to you Smiley

I don't know, maybe they will just spend it all in one day.

Btw you can invest this money in others things and got a better effect, and well, never bet everything on Bitcoin, it can fall someday.
306  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: McAfee’s MGT Goes Into Bitcoin Mining, With Massive Amount of Hardware on: October 11, 2016, 12:59:40 AM
That's an ok beginning for a larger company interested in Bitcoin mining, but I am curious as to whether or not they're actually going to be able to make money off of their investment rather than just break even. Having been mining for about 6 months and netting ~90BTC isn't bad, but it likely could be better. Chances are they're using this as a trial run.

spending the coins as soon as they get it = possible to break even after a year.
hoarding the coins waiting for deflation = possible profit when the fiat value of bitcoin rises

That brings me to a question. What would be the price they had in mind to release their coins to make it worth it for them and how long are they willing to wait for Bitcoin to get there? The costs of mining today are very high now and unless they are risking their own money which is unlikely, they loaned money to start their operations.

This brings me to another question, why not mining other altcoin more profitable? So they can use the alt to buy some btc if they want to invest in especulation?
Competition is hard nowadays...
307  Economy / Economics / Re: Is gold better than Bitcoin? on: October 10, 2016, 11:59:57 PM
"Is gold better than Bitcoin? "

For me Bitcoin is better than gold.

Because if I invest in gold (jewelry) in my country and sale at a certain time (when price increases)
then I have to sale at a 20% less from the actual value. So I think that is a loss.
And 20% increase in value is very tough I think... Its slow.

But bitcoin is different for me. Because I found it more profitable.

I also sometimes wonder about the "existence" of bitcoin in future  Roll Eyes  Huh

Gold is better than bitcoin in security while bitcoin is better than gold in profits, because if you invest in gold your money will be more secure as that has been around from a longer time while if you invest with bitcoin you will get more profits as it grows faster than gold.

You are buying gold in the wrong place dude Wink Try to buy direct from miners instead of jewelry next time, you also can buy from miners and sell in big cities and make some profit.
And Bitcoin speculation nowadays is a joke, you can skip this from now, the price will not move so early.

Yeap, Bitcoin can disapear, gold will stay on your hands.
308  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: CAUTION: BLOCKCHAIN.INFO Fishing page in Google Ads! on: October 10, 2016, 11:55:54 PM
There's another thread on Web Wallets if I good remember with the same discussion however I think it's another link like dot com. Check it there...

Google is a joke, don't know how they can let a ad like this shows up.
309  Economy / Economics / Re: If bitcoin price is $10.000, will fiat be worthless? on: October 10, 2016, 11:53:59 PM
Fiat will never be worthless even if bitcoin price is $10,000 unless fiat is replaced by bitcoin. What I mean in replace is that the value of bitcoin will not depend on fiat anymore, it will have it's stand-alone value and will be used in daily lives, if that happens, fiat will be worthless but seeing it rise at that price, even if it is $100000 fiat will have worth unless no one will use it when that price is reached.
Even if bitcoin reaches to that price level, I don't think fiat will be worthless and people are who are not aware about btcoins will prefer to use fiat as its easy and convenient to use.

You are right!
And this will just show us how much potential for growth Bitcoin has and that it's value is very very tiny at the moment.
Bitcoin will be used as safe haven and investment first by people who want to protect their wealth.
Fiat will still be around and used by a majority of people.
However the ones who know Bitcoin now and have a bit of skin in the game could possibly profit from it on a big scale in a few years.

Can you imagine 1 satoshi = 1 dollar? Well, neither that the Bitcoin will have a good marketcap.
Fiat money are controlated by governments, they will always have their place in economy, nothing can beat banks+governments.
310  Economy / Economics / Re: What if US Dollar Crashes? on: October 10, 2016, 11:50:40 PM
Well if dollar will be crushes yeah euro will replace usd and i think its more valuable to use euro than usd..
Bitcoin will be still as alternative for online payment and i think bitcoin has no power to replace usd.

I think it's more easily euro broken than USD.
Why? Greece is a good example. And there's others countries running in the same way... And USA can start a new war to maintain your fiat alive  Roll Eyes
311  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If Bitcoin was made illegal by your government would you still use it? on: October 09, 2016, 06:37:58 PM
Nice pool results at the moment!
That show the mind of you all Bitcoin users!

Don't let a government rules you!
312  Other / Off-topic / Re: How much do you earn per day on: October 09, 2016, 03:51:45 PM
Salary / 30 = your earnings per day.

I don't know, people think Bitcoin is easy money or something like that.
Better work hard whatever the currency.
313  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What would happen if on: October 09, 2016, 03:45:14 PM
Who will use a private key that someone can know?

Neither newbies.

And it sounds like physical spam.
314  Other / Off-topic / Re: Have you already become a USD millionaire through Bitcoin? on: October 09, 2016, 01:59:56 PM
Actually I was too late become a millionare through bitcoin since i am not early adopter, i am trying  through altcoin, i wish those coin  would be bright like bitcoin and make me rich, however with bitcoin i can support my life, people always said that bitcoin price would be hit 1k dollars each again, but i'm not sure i will become a millionaire if the price 1k dollars.

What altcoin do you think the price will increase ~1000x? I think a lot of alts will die soon.

316  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What would happen if BTC was Banned? on: October 09, 2016, 01:49:32 PM
Do you think it will happen? Then, will you please share your ideas what will you do if that time will come? Is their any possible solutions to prevent that?  Smiley
I think even now it has happened, there are some states that prohibit bitcoin circulating in their countries? I thought nothing could be done to make bitcoin legalized because it is the authority of the government itself, but I think it is not a problem, because bitcoin can not be controlled by anyone

So no one really controls bitcoin. I hope it wouldn't happen here in my country  Sad. I don't want to happen that, its like a person falling from a tree it's very hurt but i'm ready to face that  Smiley

If you don't have where to spend yours Bitcoins, the coin is useless, think about that, it will be just a number Wink

We have to be afraid and keep the eyes open. Trust no one.
317  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Has anyone ever lost bitcoins before? on: October 09, 2016, 01:47:21 PM
I got hacked and also I lost some in the early days when I lost my wallet login, but that was very early on and once in an exchange I lost some to a hacker. That's why it is not good or advisable to have all your btc stored in one place, but that's just my 2 bits!  Smiley

this just shows that even in the early days you should never store coins in an exchange. but still, people don't seem to have learned anything as certain people use exchanges as a long term way of storing coins. that's just stupid. it really makes me think whether or not they know what they are doing. probably not...

Yes, exchange isn't wallet and the online wallets isn't secure too, Bitcoin was created to you be your own bank.
Day by day we see more people doing the same mistakes.
Someone is getting rich.
318  Economy / Economics / Re: Do You Think Bitcoin Will Replace Dollar Soon? on: October 09, 2016, 01:30:23 PM
Coinbase CEO believes bitcoin will replace dollar within 15 years.

Read the following news:
http://cointelegraph.com/news/114983/coinbase-ceo-bitcoin-will-replace-dollar-within-15-years

Do you think it will be true? Are you positive towards bitcoin's future status?
Well USD dollar will never replace bitcoin as the main currency of the united states even there are more users who uses bitcoin in there country bitcoin is always depending on the usd dollar so it has a price but if usd dollar will be dead probably the bitcoin will be dead as well soon and the future of bitcoin has big difference

If the bitcoin is used widely in other countries, the American people will also use the bitcoin a lot. It will take some time though.
True but American people now are using bitcoin for there daily expenses i think there are some or few online store that accepting bitcoin as a payment and they adopting it so that they could use it into another shop also hopeso that bitcoin can be use worldwide and it can be a currency too

Some stats started to ban Bitcoin in USA, so Bitcoin will never replace dollar or any other currency since governments rules we all.

There's only one place for Bitcoin: the internet!
319  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is big problem in using of bitcoin on: October 08, 2016, 01:42:34 PM
The only problem I face at a moment is every time when I sell my coins and convert it to fiat I have to pay 2% conversion fees that is quiet high especially if you are dealing in higher amount.

None works for free... They are with your money in hands, this % is for security, work, etc... I don't think it's a bad thing... Try to make a P2P deal so, and you will offer more % to the exchanges because the security and convenience Wink
320  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The danger of the cyptocurrencies on: October 08, 2016, 01:38:37 PM
Altcoins have only one aim. Only one.

Making the owners rich again. :p

The only altcoin is worth holding was litecoin but it is pretty much dead too. Was it fontas or gayser can't remember, one of these douchebags killed it.

Half true... For sure the developers get rich with an alt but not all, there's a lot of coins over there, coin about nothing, coin that promises the world, coin about future, blablabla, it's out of control.

Few alts have a good point, they are using good the blockchain, don't put everything in the same bag.

edit:
~Snip~
First of all, how is the government going to close our Bitcoin wallets? Do they control the internet? Are they some kind of hackers that have an access of blockchain? No. The essence of Bitcoin is that the government will never have a control with our money. They can't shut it down unless they torture you into giving them the password to you account, which is illegal btw.

Fiat becoming worthless just proves how much Bitcoins has risen. It has overcome the all of the present currencies and got rid of the useless fiat money.

If Bitcoin rises that much, then all of us will live a life of a millionaire. To be honest, OP's just overthinking and most of his ideas aren't worth answering.

They can ban the market to receive the coins, so, where do you will spend it?
