301  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UFC 212: Aldo vs Holloway Info and Prediction Thread on: June 07, 2017, 02:58:26 AM
Regarding Jose Aldo, my personal opinions say that somewhere in his career in UFC, I suspect that does PEDs in the Chad Mendes(another suspected steroids user-his body is screaming with steroids. LOL) fight. I think he likely stop using PEDs in the McGregor fight and the fight with Max Holloway.
You can only speculate whether he was doing that or not, with the loss to McGregor, Aldo is a different fighter,he never landed any leg kicks and his game plan for the entire fight was just stupid and it is a well known fact that Jose Aldo does not have a great stamina and that is how the match ended,he was explosive and aggressive when the busted into the scene,i would like to see that version of Aldo in future fights .

Yes. It seems that he's lost to McGregor was still in his mind. That lost really took a tool of Jose Aldo. He is still a skilled fighter no doubt, but it looks like its more on a mental for him. Its like a skeleton on his closet really. I'm also hope that Jose Aldo can go back to his old version, but I doubt it. He needs to get a win to boost his confidence. A really good win against top player to be in the contention again.

Conor McGregor already destroyed the soul of Jose Aldo as a fighter on their last match, in that day Aldo's era has ended. He came back after the that loss and fought with Frankie Edgar (win via unanimous decision), still his prime is not fading. I watched Aldo's interview after the loss to Max Holloway he said "We go down so we can get back up'", I hope to see the classic Aldo in the future.
302  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do any people gamble under the age of 18? on: June 06, 2017, 03:02:59 PM
Under 18 people mostly do it online since it’s safer and can hide personal information if needed. But if you’re in England and is 16 years you can legit join lotto and play scratch cards. But there are illegal gambling dens that allow under 18 to gamble as long as they have money, mostly dangerous and can land you in serous trouble. And kids also gamble, they just don’t know it yet. Kids these days   are very tech savvy and mostly use technology to play games. The games they play maybe innocent but most of these are simulated gambling games, they just don’t know it and continue us playing.
303  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is it a sin to gamble? on: June 06, 2017, 02:27:06 PM
Biblically, yes. There are many bible verses that had alluded to it as sin and therefore displeasing to God. And it’s a sin since it is heavily connected to one of the seven deadly sins, greed. Lawfully, it depends. There are countries that banned it and made it a punishable crime. There are countries that have allowed it but made many restrictions to control it. Sweepstakes and lotteries are government owned and controlled. Personally, no. It’s just business to me, a way to earn additional cash.
304  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: @Philippines An addicted gambler gone wild on: June 06, 2017, 01:02:44 PM
Gambling addiction is an issue need to be taken seriously. news like this should make us realize how far we are down in the  rabbit hole that is gambling addiction. "controlling ourselves" advises could only go so far. we need more solid advise than "controlling ourselves" because what happens when we don't have a handle of ourselves any longer? what happens when our gambling  make us commit mistakes with consequences we are not ready to take responsible for? or commit a crime so heinous like this guy on the news? control is a leash on a dog that can be let go anytime whenever it sees something it liked. we need more than control. we need discipline. we need to learn how to listen to a NO. and foremost, we need all the help we can get.
305  Economy / Economics / Re: Is the economy situation in your country that bad? on: June 06, 2017, 12:11:38 PM
Politicians may say it's media hype or just propaganda from rival politicians to destroy their name but in my own subjective opinion, economy is just as dismal as ever. stats says that our economy is growing so fast that we may already be experiencing a boom. business news throw up number like "4.6 to 4.8! like wow! that is such an impressive number! or from 22% to 86%! expect more!"  that sometimes I confuse myself if I'm reading satire or is this really news. They say our economy is  moving forward  and  is dragging itself from the pit that previous government dug  it into. and maybe its true. maybe we are getting richer. maybe we are getting better. maybe the stats are right and not just a lie to appease the people. maybe, maybe, maybe. I just hope the people in the slums can say the same thing.

I do believe in my country. I believe that its capable of great achievements and a better future. i just don't believe the people running it.
306  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: How can withdraw btcprominer?? on: June 06, 2017, 11:57:42 AM
Nothing we can do about your problem I think you better stop upgrading your account on that site or even trying to invest because it will be scam soon. A while ago visited a facebook group and saw some complaints regarding on withdrawal that they can withdraw unless they upgrade. This is just a strategy to entice people to invest on them. Don't waste your satoshi in this kind of platform.

308  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: YoBit.Net - CRYPTOCURRENCY EXCHANGE & MultiCoin DICE - Free Coins every 1-24 hrs on: June 06, 2017, 09:35:39 AM
I came here after a longer time and here I found that yobit has very worst issues created for their members. I have some trades on their exchange I will immediately stop that because I do not want to lose my money on that exchange.

Yobit sucks, I had a problem regarding on my withdrawal for a long time but still I got no response of their support. I pm'ed also the owner but still no reply! That's why I stop using their exchange platform. I prefer Bittrex and C-cex as my main exchange site for the meantime it's not guaranteed that they will stand forever. So don't hoard your coins in a exchange site, unexpected circumstances will happen.

310  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: DCORP Crowdsale - Democratizing Venture Capitalism on: June 05, 2017, 08:32:36 AM
Yay!! DCORP crowdsale started already and got my 1200 dcorp already. I'm loving it. I hope it will be fair deal to invest in this new ICO. I was excited on the angel day and was able to buy at 650 per ETH rate. Also bought some yesterday and I'm having full positive review for DCORPS success. Keep it up guys and let's rock on the final day sale.

Whats a full positive review of something that is not launched?

The final day sale is nearly a month away.
Some ICO has been succesful in juast a week and they no longer have to wait for a month to get the amount that they need to raise to begin the development of the project. It's also obvious alreadythat this ico is a success because they received plenty of investment already in just a short period of time.
They got the success because of their good planning. After they start to implement their planning then you do not know that how much people will get benefit from it and with that success the demand of their token will increase and so the investors of this project will earn a high amount within a few months.
Months or on Few weeks doesnt really matter at all as long the project have shown progress on its Crowdsale it does depend on their plan.If they do love to make it a month then it doesnt matter coz people will eventually wait no matter what and its better to be longer/slower but we can assure that this is really a serious project.

A great project indeed and must watch just like Quantum project a huge sum of money invested and the pre-sale was a success. I also invested in that project. Once I received the payment from the signature campaign for this week I would like to invest some of my satoshi in this new project. No doubt this will be a huge! It doesn't matter how slowly the progress of the project but the the successful  work in the end.
311  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can trading be considered as gambling?? on: June 01, 2017, 09:57:27 PM
I want to know what you guys think about this, I have stopped gambling but still trade so does this mean I am still gambling?? I don't trade on basis of luck I trade using my skills would it still be considered gambling??

Please tell me what do you think.

In a way trading can be considered as gambling in terms of risk. two, these are also similar because unlike investing, you try to earn money in the most shortest time possible. three, earning money is kinda on a time limit. in gambling, it can be your unlucky shot the next round and lose money while in trading you try to snatch the next "spike up" in the market. you take advantage of the momentary price discrepancies and buy/sell immediately. but as a difference, even  if trading is fast you also apply mathematics, research and statistics to it. you must be aware of the original prices of stocks and securities you are dealing with so you can recognize it if it profitable or not in the next price discrepancy in the market.

313  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What Happen If Gambling was not introduced? on: May 27, 2017, 10:15:10 PM
Even if gambling is not introduced to humanity, men will still find ways to entertain himself. Even if we are not introduced to gambling we will still absolutely find away to it. Human mind is amazing  and it is capable of amazing feats as well as inventing simple entertainment.

Ages ago up til now hard work is really one of the main ways way to earn money. It's very naive to think that all throughout the centuries, men have prospered by gambling.
314  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How do you know whether its your lucky day? on: May 27, 2017, 09:34:03 PM
You'll know you're having a lucky day if you're winning more than losing. But stop while you're ahead. Stop while you still have money and returns. Stop while you're still feeling good. Because not for long you'll start losing more, You'll get desperate to "avenge" your losses. You'll be compelled to bet and bet again and before you know it, you're lucky day turns into the most worst day of your life.

In short, you are the one controlling how lucky your day is. Know when to stop and walk away.
315  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: When is Gambling Like Investing on: May 27, 2017, 09:26:12 PM
There are instances wherein gambling and investing  have some similarities. They both involve risk, gambling more so, but risky nonetheless. It's putting on money on someone else's hand hoping that you have some returns but in gambling hoping for a return is due to chance while investment is due to certain circumstances like inflation. But despite these similarities they have a big difference. In gambling, even if you produce a large sum of money there's no guarantee that you will get something in return. While in investing, producing money means owning a share of that company. Even if its slow sometimes to get returns at least you'll still get something out of it.
316  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it better to save money or invest it? on: May 27, 2017, 09:08:02 PM
It totally depends on your needs. If you're gonna use the money within 2 or 3 years, for example you're planning to buy a car then its better choice to save. But if its for a long term, like for retirement and  shit then you should definitely invest. Invest in a couple of companies for higher chances of return. But if you really have to choose then you should definitely invest for higher returns.
317  Economy / Economics / Re: Do You Think Bitcoin Will Replace Dollar Soon? on: May 27, 2017, 05:27:03 PM
Doubt it. But there's a good chance that they'll co-exist together. And it's very hard to replace a global currency, especially a currency that is considered the highest and strongest of value. and I think Bitcoin will not be replacing any fiat soon. Fiat is government issued money, and I doubt there will be a government who will be willing to give up control to give way to cryptocurrency, a currency still a foreign concept to most.
318  Economy / Economics / Re: What would happen if Bitcoin became a legal currency? on: May 27, 2017, 04:20:05 PM
if we will take it step by step, it will probably look like this:

1. public commotion and confusion - questions of what really is bitcoin
2. media uproar- news and documentaries and interviews will be on every night
3. douchebaggery- smug people who already knows about bitcoin unhelpfully criticizing people on facebook who doesn't know about bitcoin
4. religious mayhem- if this is already the prophesied "Mark of the Beast", blah blah blah debate
5. more media uproar- people in suits spitting about bitcoin and foreign exchange, and trading and terms the general public doesn't really understand, not really explaining everything. they just want to look smart in front of people who have no idea what they are talking about they end up looking stupid.
6. silver lining- finally, a bit of understanding of what bitcoin really is
7. confusion- "will it replace paper money?"
8. politician- "heck no, how will we swim in money like a rapper in badly directed rap music video?"
9. understanding- more of a standstill. bitcoin will be accepted alongside the existing legal currency but will be heavily taxed.
10. more confusion, uproar, and douchebaggerry- but hey, pizzas for Bitcoin.
319  Economy / Economics / Re: If bitcoin price is $10.000, will fiat be worthless? on: May 27, 2017, 01:40:42 PM
it would be very ignorant to answer "YES" to that question. Fiat is the most useless useful thing ever invented by man. It has no value until it was given value. It can be faked and be printed over and over again. But it will never be worthless for the reasons that it is UNDERSTANDABLE.

What do I mean by understandable?

It means that it is an easy concept to grasp by the public. You have a physical thing that can be exchanged for goods and services, pronto. While Bitcoin can still be a foreign concept to the public, especially to those who are not computer literate. How can they earn it? How can they be sure that they have money that they can't see or touch?

and even if the governments declare Bitcoin as an official "currency" together with the official currency, they will never get rid of fiat. they're politicians, there's no real appeal in swimming in money if its in crypto form. nothing beats the physical money.
