301  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: NEW FORK on: December 13, 2017, 02:44:07 PM
Tell me this is not true, not so many forks again. Is this a confirmed information. I can't see any sense in so many forks that have as a product "bitcoin something" coins they are only making confusion on the market and among users. An some like them only because they are greedy and think they will earn fortune on free coins. So many multiple forks will ruin bitcoin and divide the community, that is what I think, and this should be stopped somehow before it's too late.
302  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Sell your house for investment in btc. on: December 13, 2017, 01:48:18 PM
The chances for profit look good and the price is on the rise but stil selling a house to buy bitcoins is not very smart decision. Especially if this is your only house you live in. The fact is you can make profit and out of this funds buy another house and still left some savings but you might as well lose. I think investments in bitcoin should be done with the funds you don't need and that is basicly the rule for every investment. Keep in mind that always something can go wrong and you mustn't take biger risk that you can accept without biger consequences.
303  Economy / Speculation / Re: Total crypto market is now worth HALF A TRILLION dollars on: December 13, 2017, 09:52:11 AM
Crypto market is growing rapidly, probably faster than anyone expected before but this is the reality and this is the future. Anyone who wants to be part of the future should join this train now.
All this false information about ponzi scheems and simlilar are just an attempt to discredit bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies because some see them as threat. But cryptocurrency revolution couldn't be stoped anaymore and more and more people are becoming aware of this fact. In couple of years majority of inhabitants in this world will have at least one cryptocurrency, that is my opinion.
304  Other / Off-topic / Re: Is bitcoin dangerous ? on: December 13, 2017, 07:13:14 AM
Bitcoin represents the new era in financies and payments. It's new technology, new alternative to traditional financialy system, that is how I see it. Bitcoin itself is not dangerous. Maybe it could be if you use it for illegal activities or if you get addicted to bitcoin gambling so you lose a lot of money. So, it's dangerous only in sense of risk especialy for individuals without enough knowledege how it's functioning, can't think of anything else.
305  Economy / Economics / Re: do you think bitcoin is controversial ? on: December 12, 2017, 10:18:32 AM
Bitcoin is sprobably controversial only for banks and governements, at least I think so. Yes, bitcoin is used for criminal activities and for money laundering but aren't all currencies involved in such activities? Also for some the price controversial also and that is why they call it a bubble and some even a ponzi scheeme but to my opinon for that are no grounds. Every new and developing thing is considered to be controversial at the begining so I wouldn't pay much attention to that.
306  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: About Bitcoin Bad Rumors on: December 12, 2017, 07:25:00 AM
There will always bee people who will spread bad informations and rumors about bitcoin, nothing new. The fact is that is always needed to see the source of these rumors and how competent are these persons to say anything about the bitcoin. People just give too much attentions to such announcements and then even spread these rumors by themselves giving them the publicity. So, thir goal is done.
Bitcoin has some bad sides and problems, no one is denying that but the key is to be objective and not to give false informations.
307  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: trading or working in signature campaigns? on: December 11, 2017, 01:12:20 PM
I have to say that bitcin campaigns were much more profitable before. And there was much biger choice and it was easier to join right because of biger ofer and smaller number of users here on forum. With this big price rise campaign managers have lower the payments, which is in certain way undestandable. Still you have to put your time and efforts to get to some rank here on forum and than to make qualiy posts and participate in campaigs.
For all this reasons I would say that only signature campaigns are not enough anymore so it's good to combine them with trading or some other jobs paid in bitcoin.
308  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is garbage. on: December 10, 2017, 07:20:55 PM
I'm so sorry for the people who missed to understand what the bitcoin is all about and what is its true value. Don't know how else to say this. Bitcoin transactions has its price, like everything else in this world. When you are using your credit card that also has the price, everyone is forgetting about that. Or any other service you can think of.
Yes, fees are higher than before but there are reasons for that. At the end if you don't like it you don't have to use it, simple as that. No one is forcing anyone to use bitcoin so stop complaining.
309  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Forks affect BTC positively on: December 10, 2017, 06:19:40 PM
I must say I don't agree. Looking back at recent forks I could say that forks haven't done anything good for bitcoin, on the contrary too many forks in too short period of time, too many bitcoin connected coins, I can't see how this contributes to bitcoin. It has only made confusion and split the community.
And recent fast price growth has nothing to do with forks.
310  Economy / Economics / Re: Crypto Currency related to insurance & medical on: December 10, 2017, 02:05:54 PM
Any kind of implementation of bitcoin in any industry is going very slow and with lot of obstacles. Having in mind bitcoin volatility and lack of regulation that is not so strange. So at the very begininig majority of such projects even when they are started are about to fail. Insurance business is particulary sensible and prone to risk so I don't think there was some significant progress.
311  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: ♨♨♨ Is Bitcoin A Giant Ponzi Scheme?♨♨♨ on: December 10, 2017, 10:52:12 AM
I can't disagree more, bitcoin is not a ponzi scheeme. This is just another thread on that same theme that was discussed so many times before.
I think that such theories without any solid ground and proof are spreading people who don't know anything how the bitcoin is functioning and haven't succeeded in bitcoin and instead of profit accumulated losses so this is some kind of their revenge. Bitcoin is present for many years now and it's been proved many times that is legit, it's not involved in any kind of scam as a project, only those run by individuals but everything in this world could be misused and so bitcoin too.
312  Economy / Economics / Re: What coin do you believe will be next to bitcoin? on: December 09, 2017, 07:20:42 PM
It's hard for others coins to get near bitcoin but I think Ethereum has prety much good chances for the future. Still that doesn't mean it will make the success like bitcoin did but it's worth investing. Some have also mentioned bitcoin cash and bitcoin gold but I think they will not last for long and their value will fall.
At this moment bitcoin still has no alternative and I don't think that soon will appear some coin who could endanger it.
313  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto currency in a card? on: December 08, 2017, 07:48:26 PM
Hello there,

It's not long that I get to know about crypto currency. At first, I heard the name "Bitcoin" before I get the idea of crypto currency. It's been growing ever since it's born. Now there's lot of crypto currencies around the world.
Well, what I want is a master card or something similar to it, which I can use to maintain my online money. I’m not sure if it’s possible cause debit cards or credit cards or master cards or visa cards…. Every single one of them are sealed with my name on it. I mean these cards always carry its user identity. But I don’t want my identity with my online money. That’s the whole point of crypto currency right?

https://www.indiegogo.com/projects/butler-live-cryptocurrency-card-for-btc-eth-ltc-money-cards#/

This card could be my solution but would you trust it? Kind of like it already since I don’t have to open my computer everytime I want to keep me posted about my online money.

I honestly think that this might be something worth looking into. especially now that cryptocurrency are progressing outward and outward and more people are investing on it. Having it in a card would be something like an atm or a debit even a credit card if given some research.

Well, bitcoin debit cards are nothing new on the market. There are several providers that offer such services like Xapo, Advcash, Wirex etc. They are usualy Visa or Master cards but credit cards are still not available, only debit. The advantage is that you can spend your bitcoins in the shops like with any other card orr withdraw the cash at the ATM .
But I'm not sure I understud what is the actual idea of the project that has been introduced here so I would like more details. But I'd like to see bitcoin cards to be developed further.
314  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are you surprise by bitcoin price now? on: December 08, 2017, 10:35:49 AM
Honestly, I'm very surprised. I think we all are. Sometimes yesterdy I checked the price and saw it has crossed 16.600$. Today it returned back around 15.000$ but having the mind the price just a couple weeks ago this is the huge jump. We have never seen so fast pumping so far and it' hard to tell what will follow. I hope for further growth but I'm ready if some dump happens too.
315  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I dont like daytrading on: December 07, 2017, 02:43:18 PM
Daytrading is for very skilled and those who have plenty of time or trading is their only occupation. Otherwise it's very hard to be successful and this type of trading is very risky although the profit could be great especialy when the situation on the market is like. I can understand the feeling that you have and daytrading might look very agressive but still it's the one of the most popular and profitable forms of trading.
316  Economy / Speculation / Re: bitcoin now slowly drop should i sell? on: December 07, 2017, 01:08:21 PM
Nothing unusual. Bitcoin price moves up or down for a couple of hundred of dollars all the time, so nothing to panic for and no need to sell unless you have to. To my opinion 14.000$ or 15.000$ is not the max peak bitcoin price will achive so it's worth to hold little longer if you don't need the money at the moment. Don't forget that volatility is a normal process tied to bitcoin and the price will not rise or fall all the time without changes. So think twice before you sell.
317  Economy / Speculation / Re: whooo!!! Bitcoin just broke the $15,000 mark!!! on: December 07, 2017, 10:24:37 AM
I have to admit the price goes up so fast that it scares me. It's so nice to see those figures but still the question is what happens next. I thought when price reached 12.000$ that this was huge jump and that it will probably stay there till the begining of the next year. But from current perspective 20.000$ also seems very possible this year and just a two weeks ago I would say that this price is insane and not going to happen. It would be interesting to see how far will it go.
318  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: NiceHash hacked! on: December 07, 2017, 08:22:21 AM
Bad luck for all investors. Hope that damage isn't too big afterall and that NiceHash will be able to cover this without biger consequences. But this is bad for their reputation also and the damage has been done. Hackers threat is always present, more and more with time and that is one of the reasons why I avoid this type of investment. Too much risk for not such a tempting profit. And too much scam sites so actualy you can never be sure.
319  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: When you first know about bitcoin what was the price? on: December 07, 2017, 07:00:58 AM
When I first started bitcoin price was around 600$. Soon after that it went down to 250$-300$. Back then I never even dreamed that bitcoin could reach almost 14000$. If I new I would have done some things different but it's too late to be sorry now. At the begining the only way I was earning bitcoin were faucets untill I realized this is just the waist of time. After all rhis time I learned that nothing can't surprise me anymore and that with bitcoin anything is possible.
320  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: FRAUD WARNING: Bitstamp is holding my money hostage and ignoring me for 14 days on: December 06, 2017, 07:42:19 PM
That is strange, Bitstamp is legit and one of the most trustworthy exchangers. It's not their habit to keep users without support and not solving the issues. The thing is that they are obliged with very strong AML laws and rules imposed by regulators so they have to obey certain procedures when it comes to any transactions they have some doubt or suspicion. I'm sure they will get in touch and you don't give up, just try to establish contact with every possible channel.
