301  Economy / Speculation / Re: Market confidence in bitcoin. on: July 17, 2018, 03:21:13 AM
A lot of people are expecting that the market of bitcoin will go up soon before this year end and that is a great confidence for them to believed that the market will now probably go up after this deep dump in the market. It is all about believing that bitcoin can do it again like what it did a few years ago that from a deep price loss, it goes up to a new all time high.

With that rise in price yesterday and the continuous uptrend, many people has a positive view of the market already and thinking that it is the start of the bull run. It seems that more positive news are coming in as well because a trillion dollar company s considering investing in bitcoin which is a sign that money is coming in. Maybe it is the reason of the push in price yesterday. There is already a confidence building up in the market compared to hopelessness in the past months.

303  Economy / Economics / Re: Why all people moan about the price of bitcoin? on: July 16, 2018, 07:12:13 AM
Op is very clever, he has missed the prices in between and thus these figures are not right. He has given figure in 2017 as $700 but the highest has $19000 and now we are at less than 1/3rd of it.

I still believe that patience will increase the chances of profit but it is not guaranteed. Invest only what you can afford to loose.
Well I think this is natural. All humans are greedy to some extent. We are greedy too for some special thing and some people are little bit extra greedy for money. That is bad thing but you can’t just change the nature of someone. Anyway when they see others investing in there and earning money, so their greed gets triggered out and they start getting in without any basic knowledge.

We all wanted to make money somehow that's why it is just natural for people to react in every dump of bitcoin's price because it would mean that price would be lesser than it is before and a possibility of losing more money. Bitcoin has a big effect to the price of the altcoins because it is a base coin and we all notice that when bitcoin makes rapid movement, it has a big effect to altcoin's price whether it goes up or down. We should always have risk management then so that we can preserve our capital cause after all, trading is a hit or miss and the good thing is that we can still act upon it if its a miss.
304  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Trading, ICO, Lending, Bounty. Which one should I do ? on: July 16, 2018, 04:41:45 AM
As for me, trading would be the best way to make money out of the four options but then it is highly risky too because if you can't manage your emotions properly then it would not work in your favor and may end up losing more of your capital so better start small and know your strategy you wanted to do.

Bounty is also a good option when you don't have any funds to invest because you are investing your time when you are doing bounty tasks but choose also the bounties that has a possibility of paying because many of them are turning into scam or failed ICOs in which case you will not receive anything for the work that you've done.
305  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can the massive creation of Altcoins can be stopped? on: July 16, 2018, 04:25:50 AM
This is really hard to control as the Ethereum network is designed to support development of smart contracts. The only thing that can sway people in creating these Altcoin is unless the network crashes or there is no one to buy those tokens.

Maybe the solution to this would be to create a token that would reward its users when they can uncover a scam? Unfortunately, creation of altcoins cannot be stopped but at least when this kinds of activity are uncovered then the people who will be scammed would be reduced and the motivation to some people of earning tokens in exchange of the scams uncovered would be good. There are already countless scams being caught in this forum thanks to some members who are doing the research so that scammers cannot get any money. I think this is one of the ways so that massive creation of those altcoins that do not even have a proper whitepaper would be reduced.
306  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Bounties (Altcoins) / Re: Bounty Hunters: What makes a good bounty program? on: July 16, 2018, 03:53:27 AM
A good bounty program is dedicated to professional deploy of the project generally, within crypto society. It must be lead by experienced bounty manager who will closely develop bounty goals and cooperate with project developers.

Well bounty manager is one of the big factor why bounty hunters participate in a bounty because it would mean they already have a reputation of being trusted and pay the participants with what they work for. One should also look at the basis of the token distribution amount if it is fixed or depends on the token sale because it would be an advantage if it is fixed because even if the bounty will take a long time to finish, you know that you can receive the same amount of tokens compared to not being fixed and you can only receive a little amount as more people join the campaign.
307  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Invest in ICO or buy BTC? on: July 16, 2018, 03:30:48 AM
BTC takes too long to spike and maybe after the last bull run, it could take another 2-4 years to make it happen again. I would suggest ICO but you should be very, very careful. Compare your research with the experienced people before you put you money in there because if you did right then congratulations when you received so much profit.

There is a possibility of earning more profit from an ICO than investing in bitcoin for the short term but for the long term, it would be better if you also hold a bitcoin because it's one of the coins that has the possibility of existing and not lose its value for some time if ever there are no coins that would be able to take its position being the king of crypto.

You just have to be careful in choosing the ICO because there are so many of them that ends up being a scam but many are still legit but then the truth is that some do not even reach softcap because of less exposure and the team in not that active. Nevetheless, invest only what you can afford to lose as investing is risky especially in this market.

309  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bad Psychology of Traders on: July 15, 2018, 12:06:12 PM
I think everybody somehow succumbs on their feelings in terms of how to do their trades. It's human nature to try to be idealistic and always choose trades feeling that it will always succeed.  many people are afraid of losing, that they become extra critical and vigilant with making trades, over analyzing things that actually in up worse. Also, I think many traders just try to wing things instead of getting enough information and studying things to guide them on what trade they should be making. To some, it is even like gambling.

Many people wanted instant profit that even if there are obvious signs that there is an impending downfall because of a previous hype, there are still people who would buy hoping that it would continue to go up and then later on they would be dumped on. Some also depend on signals of other people because they are too lazy to analyze the trades on their own. You may become like this if you are a newbie but later on, you should learn on your own and not depend on others because its the only way to manage your emotions later on.
310  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Switzerland is launching its national crypto-currency( E-franc) on: July 15, 2018, 11:19:46 AM
The matter is at a very nascent stage and nothing has been confirmed yet. The lower house of parliament has asked for a detailed study on it and based on that study, decision will be made. Also the crypto market will not be benefited even if Switzerland finally decides to launch it because it will just be a digital form of the government backed money. It will not help bitcoin or any other altcoins to recover their market cap. Not particularly cheering news!

It maybe good for the introduction of blockchain technology but as for cryptocurrency market, it would have no effect because as what is stated, it is still controlled by the government and most likely a private blockchain. I can see that in the future more countries would consider adopting blockchain technology and maybe make their own cryptocurrency to compete with those decentralized cryptocurrencies because it would be efficient to use than fiat given that we are almost depending on technology in all aspects of our lives.

312  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Watch out for the scams out there on: July 14, 2018, 05:21:32 AM
Wish I knew that before getting scammer $7 for $10 agc!  Cry
Take that as a very cheap lesson even if for you 7 dollars is a meaningful amount of money you should consider yourself to be lucky there have been people that lost hundreds of bitcoin to scammers that are now worth a fortune, so remember to always use an escrow for any deal, there are some escrows that charge you money but there are others willing to do it for free, just look that the escrow has a good reputation or you could lose your money to them as well.

There are many scams out there and when the scammers wanted more than just scam for a few dollars, they would create an ICO. I do participate in some bounties and then after a while, the team would be inactive and leaving the investors and the bounty hunters in vain. There are times when the ICO is not scam but they do not pay the bounty participants which is quite unfair that's why we should have a consensus that tokens should be escrowed.
313  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin dominance on: July 14, 2018, 05:09:25 AM
The bitcoin dominance today is slowly depreciating but it does not really matter because you can invest while market price is still low, taking advantage today of the current state in the market will make you earn more profit in the future.

Bitcoin dominance will appreciate when its price would rise again. People would sell their alts and buy bitcoin again because it is a much safer option when bitcoin makes a rapid movement. We know that there is a potential catalyst that may push the price of bitcoin to unprecedented heights again and this would make bitcoin more dominant again against other coins. Price of almost all coins is controlled by bitcoin in some way because whenever its price goes down, we can notice that market is bearish full of reds and when its price rise or moving sideways, market is green.
314  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Real life usage of bitcoin on: July 14, 2018, 04:53:44 AM
Bitcoin is widely used today as an investment that will generate great returns and provide many opportunities for people to earn a good income. In my daily life is very useful, it can be used as payment in several sectors.

Used it to pay for bills and pay for some debt also because there are times when I can borrow money and my friend is also into cryptocurrencies so he also accept bitcoin as payment. I am also saving some for long term investment but there are times when I will be short of cash so I need to convert some coins. I can still get it back though through trading and from the bounties in this forum so I am very thankful that I found a source of income that has flexible time.
315  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Be calm when the market falls on: July 14, 2018, 04:27:21 AM
One strategy that works best in times of fall in the market is to remain calm, and not allow yourself to be blown by panic. Just hold the tokens with large caps and even if possible, buy more tokens and hold. For some coins like Bitcoin and Ethereum, it is always certain that whenever there is a fall, there is definitely going to be a rise.

What will you do when the market falls?

I look for a possible support and if it seems that the market is already calm then I would look for an entry point. I have a risk management in my trades and I always have a take profit price and a stop loss all the time because this market is very volatile and whenever it falls, it falls greatly and I don't want to lose 90% of the value of my coins again hoping for a bounce in price.

I do remain calm when something unexpectedly happen to the price and know what my next move would be. It would be better if the trading pair has volume because most likely TA would work as oppose to thin market coins that has a possibility of becoming pump and dump coins.
316  Economy / Economics / Re: One of the biggest challenges that we will encounter in Bitcoin on: July 14, 2018, 03:57:37 AM
One of the biggest challenges that we will encounter in Bitcoin is Unreliable Third-Party Storage.
There are still lots of Bitcoin users in the world who are not actually Bitcoin users, They deposit their Bitcoins with a third party and what they get in return are promises that they’ll get it back. That’s not really what Satoshi intended when he built a system that wasn’t supposed to have any middlemen.

Do you mean investing in HYIP sites? Well judging on the social media groups especially in facebook wherein scammers are everywhere and there are so many people who are still willing to invest in sites that will promise a return in a short period of time. I was once the same with those people investing in those sites but now I know better and I wanted to make people be aware that bitcoin is not just one of the investment schemes but it is a cryptocurrency created to get away with the control of the government. One of the biggest challenge for us is to make people be aware that those are just scam sites and stop them supporting and investing in it.

I really like how you manage the campaign having timely updates and payments and the advance counting of posts/stakes which would make the participants be aware if he is lacking of anything.

Just continue what you are doing and I am hoping you will become one of the top bounty managers in the forum.

Hoping to join more of your campaigns soon.

319  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Awareness is the biggest influence. on: July 13, 2018, 04:44:09 AM
I do believe that awareness is the biggest factor to influence something. If you want something to be known by others, you'll have to feed them information about it. In BTC's case, a lot of people gain informations about it thru a lot of platforms such as social media. Sooner or later, almost everyone will be influenced by it.

Being informed about cryptocurrency is a big factor for us to have a proper relaying of knowledge to others who aren't aware of it. The sad truth is that some people are aware of cryptocurrencies but they have the misconception that it is like MLM and just another investment platform that has HYIP and would later on be gone along with investors money. Being part of crypto community who is aware of what's the purpose of cryptocurrency, we should teach them and maybe show them some proof that it is legit by guiding them to the right sites.
320  Economy / Economics / Re: What will be the future of crowdfunding using cryptocurrencies? on: July 13, 2018, 04:17:03 AM
Ever since taking loans from banks has become more and more difficult, startups began crowdfunding. Put simply, crowdfunding is a method for raising money for your business or idea with the collective efforts of other individuals. They can be your family, friends or just about anyone who is willing to back your project in return for a piece of the pie. You can feature an end product, service or even a simple “thank you,” depending on the amount of money pledged. You as the campaign creator are the deciding factor.

It is better to have crowdfunding through cryptocurrencies than fiat because at least in cryptocurrencies, the transfer of funds is transparent so people would not be suspected of fraud and the ease of transfer is more advantageous as well. I can see that in the future, more people will use crypto instead of fiat especially when it comes to building a project because of transparency and efficiency. Transaction fees would not be that expensive too when it comes to global funding.
