Problem resolved and everything is up and running. Attack is blocked now, we had an ongoing DDoS attack on the backend server for 14h+. Even with our DDoS protection, we were experiencing problems.

We are experiencing connectivity issues between the EU and the USA stratum server. Please feel free to switch pools till we have it resolved....! We will update this thread when we manage to resolve it!

Yup, that is why its still UP at least,and site is working even under attack. It is a merely information though for people that they may wonder why stats are off or they may see some d/cs. Im glad you find it funny though |

Just a heads up, we are under a DDoS attack. We try to resolve this, both the mining servers are up and shares are been counted so dont freak out, however stats on site may not update correctly. PAYMENTS work normally!

4/20/13 1:30PM GMT - VARDIFF Live!We are happy to announce that VARDIFF has been fixed and is now live on both servers. USA server is also now solid. VARDIFF is 128 to 512 on the eu server and is 30-1000 on the USA server. We are still Beta testing the wide difficulty on the USA server so please don't move your miners there yet unless you have low power. Please keep high power miners on the EU server (if they are already on the USA server that is fine). This allows us to monitor things easier. We have taken steps to get things more stable. We have ordered as Dual Xeon with a total of 24 logical cores, 64GB ECC RAM, 10Gbit Ethernet, Hardware Raid 0 SSD's for our backend server and we will be putting this online soon. We will give you plenty of warning when we will be switching to the new monster server. Incase you are wondering, you are paid based on the difficulty of your shares. Every share is weighted for it's difficulty when it comes to payouts. You should NOT notice a change in your payouts with VARDIFF, it's just more optimized work loads for your particular hardware. To get the most out of VARDIFF we recommend using 1 worker per machine, we highly recommend NOT using more than 1 machine for the same worker. Create 1 Worker Per Mining Machine(client). If you have questions at all stop in our irc chat using the button on the top menu bar. We have a great group of miners in the irc channel, a bot that has some cool features like !stats, !calc (for payout calcs) and it alerts on blocks. Please be courteous to your fellow miners. Any issues with VARDIFF let us know. on a side note, we apologize for downtimes. NO ONE LIKES DOWNTIMES, not you, not us. We could be just-another-ltc-pool, or we can try to make a difference and stand We aim for the second one! Hello all!! Backend seems frozen , however both EU and USA server are up and accepting shares normally. We try to figure out what caused the problem, so we can fix it asap MINING WORKS CORRECTLY! Shares are been accepted normally, so do not panic NO, you are not mining thin air When we bring back to life the frontend, all the new stats will hit you!!(and your hard earned LTC rewards for it ofc!!) Mining servers are taken down till we check where is the problem and fix it! What you have mined till now it will be credited automatically by the system when we revive the frontend! Sorry for the trouble ! |

New USA server is delivered and been set up the time we speak now... Whole infrastructure of the pool will go HEAVY undergo to be able to sustain the jump in hashing power we expect after we announce a PPS scheme combined with our current PPLNS one! On another note, since lot of people requested it.... SSL IS NOW IMPLEMENTED AND LIVE !! and round time estimation is fixed as well Please keep posting suggestions and comments!!
