What is the main point which lead you to invest in this ico but not others?

I really haven't seen a united team like ICONOMI is so far for quite some time. DOn't forget that they are a legalized financial company within EU. More than 1mil of euro was invested in the ICO so far - it is from people that do not hold bitcoins or any other altcoin. It shows a great interest from "outsiders". Can you show it for any other ICO? I was looking into DECENT and considering to invest. But they couldn't launch ICO properly it was not good signal. Main things that prevent me from investing: 1. They postponed launch for 24 hrs (to 9/11) 2. On second attempt site just didn't work - I tried 7times in first 2hrs 3. Their bonus was strange 50% for first 3hrs?? And also unclear - limited to some amount. After all this I just decided to strengthen my position here at ICONOMI Thx a lot! We were working really hard not to postpone ICO launch and we launched exactly on time thanks to our great Devs! So far there was no serious DDoS attack. Also we didn't start with some enormous percentage bonus and we also didn't invest 2mins before ICO launched for everyone else with out own tokens to receive that enormous bonus reward, which would be meant for "home" team only. Some other maybe did just that. |

Iconomi tokens (Currently referred to as ICN) could be a great store of value because it's the only crypto-token which pays dividends to it's token holders. The potential of this alone could drive ICN token value quite high. Add to that a debit card and total transparency; you now have a wet dream. Transparency is key to widespread long-term adoption in a huge way. This is an extremely well thought out project.

Sure you can. But keep in mind: - you create unique content - you publish it to blog1 (it is unique) - you publish it to blog2 (now is not unique anymore, because it was already published on blog1) Common sense logic is applied here. |

Do you have any details on the performance fees charged for ICONOMI.PERFORMANCE and expense ratio for ICONOMI.INDEX?
For ICONOMI.PERFORMANCE, how are returns calculated? Monthly/yearly? What's the benchmark/hurdle rate? Is there a high water mark? Do you have to make up losses before recording a gain to register for the performance fee?
Returns are calculated once invested ICO goes public. Before it goes it's actually illiquid asset. So in real time 24/7. Hurdle rate will be slightly above "old economy" industry average. I don't fully understand high water mark in order to give you answer as any financial guy would. But yes, we'll have to make up for losses before recording a gain to register for the performance fee. i saw iconomi is doing great job, so i decided to join their sig campaign, but i want to ask is it mandatory to invest in iconomi? and also do i need to create an account on ICONOMI ICO?
You don't need to invest. However, keep in mind that we'll award supporters only and for sure not spammers. We were not explicit with rules, but we stated we will distribute to everyone who supports ICONOMI before and during the ICO. In case of signatures, the ones wearing our signature and posting messages in some useless sections just to get post count, will have hard time arguing to be our supporters thus receiving any bounties. |

Is this true?? This seems to contradict everything that has been said thus far. Do they mean won't return the full value, or won't return any value (as in no dividends)?
Read the footnote (1) at the bottom of the article. *"Smith+Crown’s back-of-the-envelope calculations: assuming a 1.5% management fee (based on net assets) for management investment, one would need a total seed fund of $300 million to hit this threshold. Assuming a .5% fee for a passive ETF-like investment, one would need $900 million invested, which is 7.5% of the entire cryptocurrency market today. These fees are industry average fees for traditional financial products today, which only cover operational fees. ICONOMI fees will need to cover both fees and dividends. Even with a distribution of this over time, sufficient revenue to pay back investors seems unlikely. For example, if 1% of the entire cryptocurrency market went through ICONOMI funds (half in a CMF and half in a CTF), and a full quarter of industry-standard management fees actually went to dividends, then ICN tokenholders would wait 15 years before $4.5 million was returned, even without adjusting for inflation or discounting to present value." It seems to me they aren't right in the calculations. My mathematics, shows absolutely other figures.It's a good article. Addressing real issues we need to address and we will. The article is actually quite well written. I would love to get in touch with the author! Author did a homework quite well, but did missed few important points. But some conclusions (also the one you quoted) are wrong. However, this article raised few good questions which we'll address this week with a series of a blog posts. |

Quoting this for ICONOMI team. What do you expect the team to tell you ? This is more than far-fetched, this is like looking into a crystal ball. Income in ETH and ICN token value depend directly on half a dozen unknown variables at this point.. ICO is not even closed yet, let alone the funds, which, all going well, could count for the major part on the ICN tokens demand and thus, ICN tokens worth. Moreover, just read the previous replies and you'll see they don't / can't promise any kind of benefit... It's quite funny how everyone here is at the same time dreading that whales and bounty hunters might dump, and asking how much a token will be worth on launch in order to ... well ... dump..? We will probably decide to delay release of ICN tokens to all the bounty hunters in order to prevent any dump from their side. |

For me the key points here are: -the project is overfunded -quote from ANN -> "ICONOMI’s mission is to provide an opportunity for investors looking for high profits, not possible in the old economy" -> the 2nd part of this sentence is basically NOT TRUE and reminds me the "good" old days of internet bubble 15 years ago when dot.coms were the only assets leading us to a new better world of prosperity This is for sure true. Why do you think Germany can sell bonds with negative interest rates? Because people are happy to have an investment which will return them LESS of their money in some years, but with higher probability. Just imagine how f*** up current economy is, that a product with negative interest rate can exist on the market! |

Could you guys just stop complaining about bounties decreasing all the time?
I stated several times that we won't tolerate any spam and all the spammers will be banned at the end of ICO.
Why we won't ban or tell how we'll be catching all the spammers is simply because they would then be careful and avoid our detection.
And what is defined as spam? Something that is unwanted. For example control tweet detected 50+ bots. A retweet today of a tweet saying that 15% bonus is valid only for a day also means account is not supporter but pure spammer.

So ICONOMI gives out "company shares with dividends" and then will set up several funds, probably containing several million $ from non crypto investors?
Without any regulation or licences? I can't imagine that's legal in the EU.
If it would be just a coin it would be easy - but this sounds like a call for disaster.
I am sure you guys have the best intentions and are legit but I think it could be legally a nightmare very very soon.
We are approaching regulators already. As communicated before, work regarding the project already began. Yesterday we had some discussion with one of big crypto players that got fully regulated in EU as well to get full picture of what it takes. However, what we are doing is not illegal. It is just not defined yet. But will be sooner or later. Most of crypto exchanges are still not regulated either. |
