If I would have +200$k I would buy one block asap but sadly I don't have that kind of money.
But group buy really sounds interesting.

Some people are dreaming too much...you have to deposit 200k to be able to bid. So they can see that you are wealthy enought to bid larger sums. I doubt anyone will be able to buy a 3k bitcoin block for just 200k, rather 1 million +... |

Right now the terms are:
Required Registration Items:
A manually signed pdf copy of the Bidder Registration Form
A copy of a Government-issued photo ID for the Bidder (or Control Person(s) of Bidder)
$200,000 USD deposit sent by wire transfer originating from a bank located within the United States (please provide receipt of transfer)
So that's a 67$ per coin deposit if these deposits are for bids per "block", before the bidding starts.
Of course it'll end up much higher...

edit2: apparently in foreclosure auctions in the states 10% of the valuation should be paid as refundable deposit, so 200k would mean a price valuation of 666$ for 3k blocks.

I would suggest Bitstamp.net
Tried to fund my bitstamp account with € via SEPA and my bank called me telling me they chanceled the transaction as the bank account's owner is known for being part of a fraud group. Don't know what to think of it. Used bitcoin.de instead. Funny, same thing told a bank to someone regarding mtgox in the past and they asked him if he is really sure to send funds to them. He agreed and few weeks later he knew that his bank was right and mtgox was indeed a scam Anyway your bank should just do what their customers want, not what they want.
I would directly contact them and say they should transfer my money immediately or I would close my account there.

Ich kann mal sagen was ich bekommen habe...hatte 1 BTC für 2 gezahlt und sie für 0.25 und 0.33 (+ porto nach england) verkauft, also ein Verlust, aber meine Spekulation war und ist immernoch, das man sie später für zB 100€ oder noch weniger bekommt und man so im Endeffekt doch Gewinn macht |
