301  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The real threat to Bitcoin on: June 10, 2011, 02:45:27 PM
I am think that roots of Shumer  concerns about bitcoins, are lying deeper than in bank system. Do not overestimate banks, because they are just part of the picture. I am think that main roots of that concern incoming from federal reserve itself.  Other bank`s  just have stable habit of relying on instructions from there. They are completely lost their independence long ago.  Look at Shumer lobbyist list - there is no banks, but lots of organisation that assure safety of banks (and so, safety of FR itself) assets.
In that view , candidature of Shumer looking logical. Man, that bravely fights for safety of US citizens, courageously taking handouts from organizations, that fights  with something, but certainly not with  terrorism. At least not with terrorism, as we understand it,  - but in some strange, "Patriotic act"  way.
And he is a clown, - well, maybe i am mistaken, and therefore, asking to correct me. I am decide this reading some post`s about him, that describe him as figure, that are useful, when some probe stone is needed.
So, main purpose of that attack was just about seeing our, and other electors reactions. Other electors just maintain silence, they don`t interested. Our community promised to throw his face with rotten tomatoes (literally). Community showed willingness to go underground, - not all of course, but big part of our community. Community showed clearly, that it is not mainly US, but global.
Now, there will be some pause in further actions. Some investigations against SR will be committed. Some body will arrested (or not, as example they can try to get somebody from Canada, to longer process).  In that time reaction of community, and further bitcoin development will be analysed. They will look for any weak places, - they will not danger anybody, they will just appear in some threads of forum, in someones private mail. Sometimes they will overtook personality of known forum member and post some garbage from his name. Just to let know, that they are here.  We will be under slow, but depressing influence.
 Recommended action - humor.

Because all i am wrote above is a joke Smiley

305  Local / Разное / Re: Песочница - ура! on: June 10, 2011, 12:23:37 PM
Ну, тоже вариант. Ты не пойми меня превратно, конечно, но не мог бы ты привести пример, хотя бы одного забаненого пользователя ?
Я просто не нашел ни одного, видимо хорошо забанили, под корень.
306  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: t-shirt idea: "I am Satoshi Nakamoto" on: June 10, 2011, 12:11:54 PM

309  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: price stagnation on: June 10, 2011, 10:42:46 AM
We saw such a reaction around 18 $. Somebody want stabilize market, and have enough funds to do it for some time. Well i am don`t see anything horrible in that. Some old BTC will change hands, and that is good for BTC community.  I was thinking that this process will start around 50 $, well, i was mistaken.
310  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: price stagnation on: June 10, 2011, 10:33:23 AM
That is not cinyc assumption, somebody talk to us clearly.
311  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who else thinks it's a good thing bitcoin is used to buy illegal drugs? on: June 10, 2011, 10:22:55 AM
Hmm... legal goods and legal currency , will also fit in perfect harmony of the world.

i am think ... We can retrain DEA police officers to qualified drug dealers. Who else knows better on supply and demand of this stuff ?
They all ready got full view of the market ...

And, they will be extremely useful, they should (and cos police training, they can) knockout all illegal, unjustified drug sellers.
312  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who else thinks it's a good thing bitcoin is used to buy illegal drugs? on: June 10, 2011, 10:15:45 AM
Well, illegal goods, - illegal currency. Things will come to harmony in that case. Now we are in some confusion stage.

is right.
After some investigation i am should agree with them. There is some (very little) tendency to hoard BTC`s, but surprisingly, there is much more interest in speculation game. That can be seen even from commentaries on topics about BTC in local internet media. Thats topics are rare by the way, so far i am seen only 3 worse any mention, of them. Commentaries are  mostly negative, but very rational, - nobody starts blind offence, and behind every comment i am see question - how to make profit on BTC, and do not loose savings.
That`s make me wander, that i am, somehow, allready overexcited  with BTC`s, and should take more careful approach to them. From other side, - i am not risking any serious amount anyway, and already gain good profit.
So i am think that resolution should look like this -
Many Russians are interested in BTC, but steal waiting for some signal to start operate with them (except mining, that is already  going and spreading like fire). That signal... wait, that signal may be declaring BTC behind the law Smiley .
314  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Help charities start their own mining pool! on: June 10, 2011, 09:05:59 AM
Great idea if they will accept BTC, but they are to conservative even for that ...
315  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If BitCoin exchanges are shutdown/banned in the USA outright... on: June 10, 2011, 08:57:40 AM
If you will stay beneficiary of that, and will keep US citizenship, then   yes, technically  you will stay under US law. Say thanks to all that senators and other human trash, that you choose as your representatives. But that, will be much harder to proove in that case. Especially in case if you will not contact that remote note without TOR or other anonymity tech.
316  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: buttcoin.org on: June 10, 2011, 08:18:18 AM
Well, at least BTC is not some "MMM" option (Russian forum users know what i am mean - it is a first massive ponzy sheme in post soviet Russia). First - number of options limited (nobody can print them in haste). Second - no promises of guaranteed profit. Any reasonable person, will told you that BTC is interesting, but you should not, place any money in it, that you can not afford to loose. Not because its a ponzy scheme or something, but because nobody knows all weak side`s of BTC`s.
That is like first rocket launch, - every body full of hope, but nobody can guarantee anything.
In a strange way Bitcoins, in my twisted mind, was always associated with this old song -

317  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Help charities start their own mining pool! on: June 10, 2011, 07:56:31 AM
Lets start, - somebody willing to made it possible for his chosen org. should:
1) Contact the organisation and get clearance. Heh, it is already not so ease - eh ? That kind of orgs are always afraid to come behind the borders, that their "main" donators give them.
2) Start the pool (with nice design, that clearly describe that pool as facility of chosen org.), and teach volunteers  from that org, how to manage him.                  -         Yea fine, but why did not start own pool without that 1) part, and teaching some dumb and fanatical volunteers ?
3) Maintain the pool - ask any pool owner - is it easy to maintain the pool ? Ask Tycho, Slush, anybody.

Reason, - it`s hard and have little chance of success. But will really help BTC community.

Dumb solution -
Start OWN pool, - you are free to mention (and deliver a proof) that you are transfer all profits from that pool to some org.
Sand profit to that org by your own name, - show miners the proof that you did it. That is most ease way. That will really help any org of your choose.
Contra of this way - That will not help BTC in any way, unless you persuaded that org receive donations in BTC`s. Even that, is a great step.

318  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: [RFC] New TX fee: 0.0005 BTC on: June 10, 2011, 07:29:05 AM
Maybe i am missing something important. Did anybody was looking in problem of mass zero fee tx on modified client ?
I am understand that, this kind of tx will be refused by nodes, but how that will affect them ?
319  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: [RFC] New TX fee: 0.0005 BTC on: June 10, 2011, 07:14:02 AM
We just should not stop any transaction fee, if it comes in places ahead of last zero. That will start transaction market.
320  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Help charities start their own mining pool! on: June 10, 2011, 07:10:31 AM
I am has thoughts of this, and did not find that idea to dumb. That will did not do any harm, at least.
