I've never had any problems with blockchain. Transfers IN and OUT have been virtually instant. You can also use bitcoin-qt to sync your wallet and that always tallies with my blockchain account.

I also used to buy through block chain. I don't feel comfortable buying on localbitcoins - so have set up an account on www.okpay.com. The verification process is pretty fast (took 1 day)

I transferred some cash from RBS to their Barclays account but they say allow 2 days so will wait and see.

304  Other / Beginners & Help / OKPAY.COM - how long for UK Wire Transfers to appear? on: April 02, 2013, 03:17:46 PM
Hi. Has anyone else here used OKpay.com funding their account from a British Account to their British account? They say it can take 2-5 days to appear in the account, but I just wondered if anyone else had prior experience?

What gives? why has this option been removed and will it be restored?

I also have the same problem. There's a thread here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=160555.0

I can't wait to get into the trades

Its one of the difficulties of living in the UK. Since blockchain.info stopped doing UK deposits, its now very difficult to source Bitcoin in the UK reliably.

Whats the difference between "Newbie" and "Brand New" ?

I think the newbie restrictions are quite a good idea as they do mean bots have to be a lot more intelligent if they're going to bypass the rules :-)
