301  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin contribution to World' income on: March 24, 2018, 10:28:38 PM
This is definitely profitable in my opinion, bitcoin greatly contributes to the income of a country or the world for the better, because then I believe poverty can be overcome at least. I have been thinking about it for a long time. But the question remains, why are there still many countries still banning bitcoin and recently many social media banned crypto advertising.
I agree with you, I think that bitcoin is really profitable for the whole world, but same as you, I didn't get why there is some countries still Ilegalize the use of it. If they understand clearly the situation, they will make a huge profit each year using bitcoin but unfortunately, they are stupid to banning it. I am sure that bankers are the first people who want bitcoin to be destroyed, because it can kill them as people can have heir own banks.
302  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: cryptocurrency names in arabic on: March 24, 2018, 10:13:25 PM
The real question here, why is there a need to translate names at first place? and should they really be translated? like do you translate your name when you travel to some other country?
Names can be translated and should be sometimes, because some people cannot understand the original language. Also to translate cryptocurrencies names from English to Arabic, Probably, it will be easy for them to read crypto names. I think the application is very good, Good work buddy, try to update it to be better later.
303  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Lets be careful on what we are investing on: March 24, 2018, 09:52:52 PM
We must be very careful and meticulous in investing in criptocurrency, it would be nice to ask in advance to know that ICO is really trustworthy. we know that any online transaction system must be based on trust, trust arises from our thoroughness in studying and filtering from the data in office and out office.
That's true, We should be careful when we decide to invest in an ICO, we should read carefully the project and the whitepaper to understand more about this project, then we can search about the team, if it's a good and trusted team, then we can follow reviews and invest in them, Recently, there are some ICO scams, so be careful guys when you invest.
304  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Phone version of Bitcointalk site on: March 24, 2018, 09:05:04 PM
I don't have any problem to use bitcointalk.org in my smartphone. It showen like it show when I use a desktop PC and it works very well. On my phone this site load very smooth. there is no need to create an application using this forum. In addition, I don't think that theymos will support this idea, as a lot of members here.
305  Economy / Reputation / Re: Red trust ON/OFF !!! on: March 24, 2018, 08:05:15 PM
I don't think that there is an option to turn on/off the trusty effect as you said. All that changes depend on The Pharmacist trust, I am sure when he becomes DT member, the neg trust shown red in your profile, It showing for everyone includes you. By the way, I don't think he will remove it, because accounts sales encourage scams activities.
306  Other / Meta / Re: why every day we must repeat the same q in this forum section it's booooring on: March 23, 2018, 09:58:10 PM
Is bitcoin dead? ...Saving bitcoin or Withdraw?...Is bitcoin worth risking your time and money?...Are you holding Bitcoin?
wtf  2 months later every day i see this topics r we in best bitcoin and blockchain tech forum or at children school
Most of newbies and low ranks members are writing in these shit topics, Only one thread about this thing is enough, more than that it will be spam. I think, they do that because they want to boost their accounts and reach a certain level. Now, you can see a ton of replies everyday in megathreads topic, you can find that especially in bitcoin discussion or gambling discussion.
307  Economy / Reputation / Re: Negative trust from "The Pharmacist" on: March 23, 2018, 02:42:35 PM
To be honest, I think this is all your fault for selling documents. Be careful and think twice before sell anything in this forum. In general, selling/buying documents are mostly for illegal purpose. The only one who can remove your feedback is The Pharmacist and I don't think he will do that, So close your thread and move on.
308  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: why kyc? on: March 23, 2018, 02:18:27 PM

List of sites which don't request for kyc after winning big amounts.

  • YOLODICE
  • JUST-DICE
  • 999DICE
  • CRYPTO_GAMES
  • BITCOINRUSH

I already tested YOLOdice gambling sites. It doesn't request for kyc after winning big amounts. I have already withdrawn from this site more than 1 BTC, everything done within few hours without any document verifications or something else. It is a very good gambling site with nice design and great support. I recommend it.

309  Other / Meta / Re: TMAN'S guide to getting merit. on: March 23, 2018, 01:57:02 PM
Honestly, this is one of the greatest guides to getting merit points I saw. So as I understand, the main problem about getting merits is due to English language. There is a bunch of members of 3rd world countries here in this bitcoin forum, The majority of them are too weak in English, and they usually complain about the merit system as they can't get any of them. Some of them are good in English, Even if they write long posts they don't deserve any points, the problem is they never use the right words in their posts.

From what I think, To get merit points:

First, You should improve your English.
Second, Improve your knowledge about cryptocurrencies field.
Third, Improve yourself and create the Buzz here.
Finally, I am sure if anyone follows these steps will get a lot of merit points from now on.
310  Other / Meta / Re: SEARCH BEFORE YOU POST on: March 23, 2018, 01:25:22 PM
Out of curiosity, I consulted Uncle Google on this "SEARCH BEFORE YOU POST" site:bitcointalk.org

Search before you post? f**k that

Made me giggle anyway.

Haha, The idea of this topic was already posted in 2013, but the problem at that time that the search function is broken, and surely the reason is to avoid any Kind of DDOS attacks. So the best thing to do is just type in GOOGLE: site:bitcointalk.org "type what you want to search"

Now, I tested the search function in the forum, it works perfectly too. People can do their research easily with these two above methods.
311  Other / Meta / Re: complaint thread on bitcointalk on: March 23, 2018, 01:05:34 PM
Really, I think it could be a good idea to avoid duplicate topics that I saw it all day. Meta section is full with these threads, especially people who talk about merit.. It passed around 2 months and people still talk about this system. I think all new members in the forum should refer to only one topic which everything introduced there to understand how the merit system work, they are not obligated to create another topic about the same thing and if anyone caught opening a new topic with the same content, it should be removed by moderators. We want "Meta" section becomes more clean.
312  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Signature Campaigns taxes on: March 22, 2018, 11:15:12 PM
If your countries does not legalize the bitcoin yet, you will not be obliged to pay any tax if you want to exchange your bitcoin to fiat. There are some people who will buy from you your bitcoin against fiat with 0% tax. My country is an example of that, bitcoin here, or maybe cryptocurrencies in general didn't have any rules, I don't know if it's legalized or not, but when I want to cash out some of my bitcoin, I can find some people in localbitcoins and I just sell my bitcoin vs fiat.
313  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: It is NOT secure to use hardware wallets (and it never was) on: March 22, 2018, 10:32:52 PM
I have been warning people about hardware wallets for years. Bitcoin is the most personal store of value. Don't break it by using untrusted third party soft/hardware:

https://krebsonsecurity.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/03/ledgerattack.pdf

Worth mentioning, that the guy who found this exploit is 15 ys young.
I was amazed by this news, I thought that hardware wallets are top secure for saving our bitcoins, Indeed, I thought to buy one in the future, but after reading this PDF. I will keep my bitcoin in some web wallets as I don't have too much, in the same time, I will search for the secure wallet from now on.
314  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Slots machines how to win on: March 22, 2018, 10:16:17 PM
I don't think that the site that you already posted in this topic is reputable, My first look about it, is like a site that hosted over free hosting, it's not like other reputable gambling sites. It's not well designed and you feel insecure if you invest in it. I thought that kind of gambling sites are just for fun and not to put a huge amount on them.
315  Other / Meta / Re: Unmerit rule? on: March 22, 2018, 05:53:45 PM
I don't think demerit is needed Smiley. It'll be the best thing for merit abusers Smiley). They'll have chance to remove their merit abusing evidence then when checking time over, they'll send merit again. LOL. Although I know your idea is really good but we don't need it in this forum.
True, I don't think that demerit needed in the merit system. Only merit points will be good enough. As you said, merit abusers will take this chance to manipulate the system as they want, by sending and removing points to clear any evidence, In addition, there is some people who can demerit you without any reasons and then you can find yourself in a lower rank.
316  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: why the facebook, google are banning cryptocurrency? on: March 22, 2018, 05:32:06 PM
They scared as they will be losing huge amount of advertising money and run out of business

I think it not an mistakes from Google or bitcoin it is due to some fake adds from fake company that's why they decided to ban not bitcoin only bitcoin advertisement so the investors would not be worry for that.
Maybe you are right, Fake companies are a big problem to many people, They steal a lot of money from investors, so due to this fake campaign, Google, Facebook and maybe twitter, they no longer advertise bitcoin on their sites.

319  Other / Meta / Re: Merit! Why Merit is sold and how to stop it? on: March 18, 2018, 12:40:12 PM
As long as you know you are being honest and not buying smerit, it is fine. To have merits, you must work hard learn more to improve yourself that way you can earn merits easily. I am not saying YOU WILL because we can't ignore the fact that not all of our quality posts will earn merits. You don't need to stop them from buying merits, it is their money it's not yours, it's their problem if they caught. The mods are responsible for them. Just work hard to improve your posts.
True, merit points should give out if someone deserves it, It's not for sell or buy. Unfortunately, some people trade merits points to get some money privately, but I hope that the moderators can find them and tag them all. I think this is not against the rules but this is not the goal that merit system created for. People should write great posts to get some points, there is no meaning if you will get points in shitty posts.
320  Other / Meta / Re: 'Password reset via email' option used to hack the account? on: March 12, 2018, 09:48:57 PM
The code is 10 random characters from an alphabet of 62 characters; you're never brute-forcing that over a network. You'd bring down the forum before you got to even 10000 attempts per second. Most likely the email was intercepted at his end somehow.

Why don't we have confirmation email before the password can be changed?
I don't know why this step of confirming is just bypassed, which it's too important because once a hacker login into your account, you will be 100% hacked without any verification with the email. I hope that, theymos will consider this step as soon as possible.
