301  Economy / Economics / Re: Pump and dump is the name of the game. on: September 01, 2017, 12:57:33 PM
I think that's normal in the world of trading, especially in the cryptocurrency world where a group of people pump the price of a coin and when they get profits, they dump the prices of that coin  so they can buy again at a low prices
This is right, if the price become stable or steady in one price, I think this crypto-currency will not become popular. This is a great idea of the bitcoin, because the price depends on the supply of crypto-currency. So that if the supply will increase it is normal to pump, and if this will dump, chances to buy to make a profit in the future. Additionally, it can't compete to the top currency if this idea never happened.
302  Economy / Economics / Re: Why Bitcoin has power nowadays ? on: September 01, 2017, 12:18:57 PM
It is all based on the market cap. Right now the market cap of Bitcoin is close to $100,000,000,000 and gold is $8,500,000,000,000,000... it is safe to say gold alone is far more powerful.

Gold will be the most promising investment and it will never get old. And comparing it to 8 year old coin (bitcoin) isn't fair. But if we will base everything to the progress, we had to admit that bitcoin is one of the fastest growing investment world wide. Many haven't seen this type of increase and all are thinking that this is a manipulated coin and the market cap of it is a joke.
Bitcoin can not compared towards gold cause these on different level and mechanism. gold was recognized by all of the world that have existed become thing which has a value since thousands years ago. rather than bitcoin is a new currency that work as crypto since 8 years ago.
we can not compare both so well.

Yes they are different in terms of place, gold as physical investment to bitcoin (digital asset). We shouldn't compare this thing and as many are saying that bitcoin is the new gold or the modern digital gold which is quite considerable. And bitcoin's power nowadays is growing, the price is quickly increasing and many are getting hyped with it.
I think no one can deny the power of Bitcoin. We all have seen the way its market price has increased and is continuously increasing. That time is not too far when we’ll see people sitting anywhere in the world trading in Bitcoins.
Same with you, I already experience the benefits of bitcoin now. It has a small power now compare it when this is started, the proof is bitcoin is already legal in some countries like japan, europe and etc. Not only in the matket, it has a power to help in some poor people who already spend there time in involving in bitcoin. And some investor use the bitcoin as there business, they found that bitcoin is true and legit, so they grab the opportunity thas cause a power in our market.
303  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why do you even gamble? on: September 01, 2017, 11:52:46 AM
I also have the need to entertain myself while resting after a hard day's work. Gambling is the right model compared to online games, I am also aware of the age that is no longer young, at least in the comfortable time I also continue to be productive, I do not think lose and win because there is a special money allocation just for fun.
Same with you, I choose the gambling as my entertainment because it is my relaxation and my past time. I did not use the gambling in finding an income because I know that if this happen I'm become addicted in gambling. For me the meaning of gambling is a things that will bring us to nothing in the end, so instead of focusing on this, I play once a month because of friendship purpose only.
304  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin for all levels of society, without any difference on: August 16, 2017, 07:59:20 AM
Bitcoin is decentralized so that whoever you are from wherever you are rich or poor, you are free to use bitcoin for any purpose. Bitcoin is freely used for anyone. anywhere

What is your response with this opinion?
I'm neutral. It benefit those who are earning through bitcoin. They can execute any kind of transaction conveniently. however, some will take advantage of this liberty. And because of the that liberty, it may also be used in bad activities if fall in wrong hands. Rumor is that deep in the internet, this is means of payment there to accomplish an illegal transaction
305  Economy / Economics / Re: Selling Bitcoin = Opportunity loss?! on: August 16, 2017, 07:20:17 AM
Many posts discuss the possibility of exchange earnings with selling Bitcoin (and buy later). Other posts discuss the Bitcoin exchange rate, it seems that many agree there is a strong upward tendency and the volatility is hard to predict. It seems dat selling Bitcoin results in a serious probability of an opportunity loss. Selling Bitcoin can only be motivated by an (partial) exit. Do you agree?
It depends on the situation that happening in the community. If the bitcoin's price is increasing, then it is an opportunity loss because by the time you sell it, you have given it the fixed rate by converting it to a local currency at a certain amount. Through that, your sold bitcoin will on that price even if the price still increasing after that. On the reverse, if you hold that in your, it still have the potential to increase its price, depends on how rate is changing timely.
306  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Ever regretted not gambling? on: August 16, 2017, 07:03:07 AM
The question is quite simple one, have you ever regretted not gambling on an occasion? Like football matches etc, where you had a gut feeling of a team wining but you didn't bet? This happened with me in the recent el classico, i had a gut feeling of Real Madrid winning 3-1 but i just didn't bet. Smdh
No. I not quite fascinated by gambling. I never experienced gambling since then. And I have no plan of trying any kind of gambling. I'm not hating gambling, because i know somebody is having fun through it, I do have respect for those people who are inclined to it. My point is that i just don't have interest in such things that's why i'm telling this ideas of mine
307  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why 1 BTC is becoming harder to owned??? on: August 16, 2017, 01:41:47 AM
I think it's because the bitcoin's price is still increasing. Upon its increase, also earning will be hard to earned. The concept is it is hard to earn a valuable thing because it requires more work and more amount if that thing needs a financial collateral. With accordance to this, the bitcoin is becoming a more valuable cryptocurrency, so applying the principle, earning this valuable thing will be harder and harder since its value is still increasing as of this moment
308  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you believe the FBI holds the biggest number of bitcoin? on: August 16, 2017, 12:08:03 AM
I'm not quite sure. We all know that there many issues involving those organization. USA is on of the leading in bitcoin industry and USA is wide, we can't be sure that it is on FBI. We don't have enough evidences to believe that. FBI is not the only organization there that is connected to bitcoin. Who knows, what if it's just a cover up for a much bigger organization. Its just a theory, there's no certainty to that
309  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin reduces unemployment on: August 15, 2017, 10:06:40 PM
I think in the presence of bitcoin will reduce unemployment, because searching for bitcoin also requires hard work and creativity, and competitiveness in bitcoin is also high almost similar to work in the real world

What is your opinion this time?
I agree. Earning bitcoin also requires work, but not physically, hence, it is more mentally and stratetigically. It requires these aspects so that you earn bitcoin effectively and efficiently. And to achieve effectivity, you have to complete task at required time. Most of task to earn bitcoin is needed to be accomplished within a time frame. To achieve efficiency, you have to find a task that requires minimal work, but pays higher. In general, working for is just like working in the real word. It is of the same concept but different form
310  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: the easiest way to make a profit from gambling? on: August 15, 2017, 03:55:23 PM
hello, I would like to try my luck from gambling.

what kind of gambling that you think is easy to make a profit? and what strategies are you using?
There's no easy way or rather there's no way to make profit through gambling. Gambling can only make your money lose easily. Even if you have strategies to use, but if it is unlucky day for you, you're gonna your money. You'll just develop bad habits like cheating and stealing. Don't think about that. It will bring you no good
311  Economy / Economics / Re: How to make money only with BTC on: August 15, 2017, 03:31:06 PM
I hear many saying they don't mess with altcoins...how do you make money with btc?

Just buy the dips, sell for usd (or other fiat), then buy back in...rinse and repeat?

I'm not talking about long term holding but about how to build up your bitcoin without touching alts.

Thanks

Easiest way would be just to hold and then sell.
That's true. You must be patient on waiting. Time will come that you can earn through that. And also you must be watching the rate changes so that you will know if it is increasing or decreasing, through that, you can decide whether to sell or still wait. You must also be a keen observer so you can't miss a single opportunity to earn in bitcoining.
312  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What Is Your Bitcoin Dream? on: August 14, 2017, 09:45:39 AM
Okay, I am just making that headline short and sweet. What I mean is: What is one big dream that you want to realized out of your Bitcoin income? No matter how small or big it is, please share it with us here.

As for me, I have a big dream of having my own 10-hectare farm somewhere here in my locality and I want to stuff that area with all the fruits I can find here and with my main products which are cacao and coffee.

I guess I have this special connection with the soil and the land that is giving us the food and sustenance daily. And who knows maybe years from now I can be able to issue tokens out of that farm...something like AgriTokens or AgriCoins.

Please share your dreams!
I wanted to have a much more income through earning bitcoin. I am hoping someday that i can earn  enough amount of bitcoin to make my family live in comfort. I also want build a house from my earnings there. I wanted bitcoin to be my stable source of income. Eventhough there's no certainty to the future of bitcoin, i'm hoping someday that my hopes of mine be turn into reality.
313  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How do you know whether its your lucky day? on: August 14, 2017, 05:40:06 AM
If nothing goes wrong the whole day, then that's your lucky day. But i can never know that. I just let myself decide on thing then if the result is successful or favorable, then i'm lucky. I just analyze the situation then choose a decision with reference, then let my luck affect the result. My point is that it is impossible for me to determine whether the day is on me or not. Its all about luck
314  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is instant way to get rich ? on: August 14, 2017, 04:57:27 AM
This is uncertain. We all know that bitcoin is bit unstable even if it's popular and well-known. If you have strategies to apply in getting sufficient amount of bitcoin for a short period of time, specifically, as of this time. When price is still rising continuously, that is the best time to be able make your dreams come true: to be an instant milllionaire. But that would very difficult and requires lot of skill and attention
315  Economy / Economics / Re: bitcoin provide income on line? on: August 13, 2017, 11:36:03 PM
Obviously yes. Bitcoin provide a wide range of opportunities to earn income online. There are bitcoin faucet that gives bitcoin and extra rewards for special tasks accomplished. There are also signature campaigns, social site campaigns and language translation that pays bitcoin everytime you've completed their offers. The work required to earn bitcoin is not that hard
316  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: It is not worth it, right? on: August 13, 2017, 02:18:55 PM
Many people here are asking "How gambling can benefits us by winning" on it using strategy like Martingale, or pure luck when we are playing DICE?
But I'm just wondering when do people will realize that gambling can never be the one that could benefits us, because the truth is, we could lose the thing that we can't lose to afford before we could be benefited by gambling.
I think when they lose the things that they can't afford to lose. Realization is always in the end. People tends to be more agressive and impulsive these days. They do things without proper analysis and without thinking what would be the consequences of their actions. They only realize the flaws of their actions after they lose something valuable to them.
317  Economy / Economics / Re: Are cryptocurrencies better than regular currency on: August 13, 2017, 01:36:51 PM
I think both are equal. They have both advantages and disadvantages to each other. There's no need to compare that. They're both helpful and useful to people so that they afford to satisfy their needs. Though they have different concept, they have only one common use: to transact and spend on products and services
318  Economy / Economics / Re: Would bitcoin help teach kids about saving? on: August 13, 2017, 01:11:58 PM
So I have 2 cousins. One of them doesn't save and is a huge spender while the other is a saver and spends only once a year. So would bitcoin be a good way to teach them about saving? Since, mining bitcoin is the only way to make alot of bitcoin, I would use a alt wallet to show them what happens if you spend and don't save. What do you think?
Yes. It would be better to show them the technology for saving and earning. It will help them depending in how you deliver the idea to them. It would be very beneficial to them and also make them to realize the real world. But not too much, it may cause them to be overdependent with that and also lose focus on their studies, just teach them with limitation and balance
319  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is betting a good choice for a newbie? on: August 13, 2017, 12:22:38 PM
I am earning and collecting bitcoin to bet on sports in future. Will it be a good choice to invest in it betting or other things.Where should i invest my bitcoin to have a long term profit?
I think you should invest in other things. Gambling is not an option in investing. It may only cause your hard-earned  bitcoin suddenly lost. There's no thing as investing in gambling. You're just wasting your bitcoin in that. I have no specific idea where you can invest that, but don't consider gambling. Choose a legit and trustworthy organization or business where you can invest that
320  Economy / Economics / Re: Is bitcoin dead? on: August 13, 2017, 11:45:27 AM
It seems like not, now everyone is starting to know about bitcoin and I'm sure bitcoin can last for at least 25 more years or more, if any country accept bitcoin, i sure bitcoin will survive at least 50 years from now.
This thread is not timely, it was created years ago and bitcoin now is on its way to a big success.
We are seeing a big dump sometimes and that is something normal to us now, we are not in the old days where we see
people easily panic when there is a dump, now they buy and that's the reason why price back up easily.
I agree. But that's a part of bitcoin's history when this cryptocurrency almost lost its value. It deflated up to almost only $100. And bitcoin bitcoin survived that. Now bitcoin is more stable and more popular than before that makes its price continuously increasing up to this time. Dead is not the term for that, i think it badly sick and now has fully recovered and improve much better than before. As a proof, its on way to $3000
