301  Economy / Economics / Re: Cryptocurrency usage will boost economy or make it worst ? on: November 13, 2019, 03:38:40 AM
Crypto currency usage has a great impact to the economy  i believe that is can boost the economy because crypto is really amazing and it helps a lot it really gives a great opportunity to everyone to earn a huge amount of profit through investing. So i think it will helps everyone to become independent to the government.

That is correct. If the people are earning in their crypto investments, that means they have acquired a certain level of purchasing power which will positively affect the economy. Incomes of merchants would rise if the people can afford to buy their goods and services. But crypto investment is also coming from the people's income or savings. If they don't have enough, they cannot afford to invest in crypto. There are certain existing conditions.
302  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Alt-coins with practical use on: November 13, 2019, 03:13:21 AM
ETH, Monero, Siacoin, IOTA, Golem, ripple are some of the well known coins which have a practical use. PERL coin came up with a good practice, the coin became opacity coin. What are the remaining alt-coins which have practical usage?

Can we explain more on the term practical here? I am only using ETH and Monero from the list above. Besides the two, I use BTC of course as well as LTC and BAT. I have been a supporter of Siacoin but I have not tried using SC on a practical level, or within its ecosystem, except choosing it sometimes over other coins when sending an amount to save fees, the same way I use XRP.
303  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Free ATH for everyone who has ETH! on: November 13, 2019, 02:41:35 AM
a friendly fork which basically replicates the ethereum network...

This is therefore one of the many replicas. And I do hope that this particular replica will not end up just like the rest that unfortunately ended up claiming to be the original one. We have so many examples on this.

And this fork is for what particular reason? Due to an urgent one? Or due to something that cannot be ironed out or reconcile within a single consensus? It seems not. It is simply due to some experiment. Which made me ask if this is really necessary.

Quote
The reason is because they want to showcase the new protocol which is based on what is claimed to be an anonymous paper.
304  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: DXChain Token - pump and... ? on: November 13, 2019, 02:18:21 AM

See the latest pump: https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/dxchain-token/

It actually looks like a valid project with a great value proposition.

Anyone know more about it?

It seems to me that there is something fishy about what's going on here although it is hard to believe that because of the sheer volume and market cap of the project. There was a sudden spike that created another ATH after increasing more than x3 in price. There was a little hype of this token and project in the past few days and I did not heed the call to buy because I was looking at the bigger picture, the market in particular. It did happen, the pump.
305  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Buy Dogecoin on: November 13, 2019, 01:56:09 AM
Buy Dogecoin
buy 30 sat
sell 40/45 sat

The price of Dogecoin has remained a bit steady for the past days, staying very near or on the 30 sats price. Your call looks realistic but do you happen to have a certain time frame for this? It is better if you set like how many weeks should one wait if in case he follows your call. Because Doge is also falling from 30. It might also go down as low as 24 sats.
306  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to start trading with 2 BTC? What is the first step? on: November 12, 2019, 03:26:41 AM
So i have decided i will start trading with 2BTC first. I have read many people suggesting me to day trade and earn some good profit daily.
Let me tell you all, i have no experience in trading and it sound so difficult to me so please answer my questions
so how can i start and where can i start?
where to learn the basics? some good books?
how much profit can i expect daily in the beginning?
How to avoid major loss?
is there any professional traders that allow to follow their trades and they charge some fees for it?
Waiting for your answers  Wink

I'm sure other good posters here have given you enough ideas in their answers. I would only suggest that you should not be starting with 2 BTC for your trading. You have admitted that you have no experience and you did not even read the basics about trading. You should not even start with 0.1 BTC in this case. You are throwing away BTC. Actually, if I were you, I would not even trade it. I would rather HODL that 2 BTC and buy altcoins if I have money.
307  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: PAC (Pacquiao) Token Starts Trading from Nov 12. Will You Buy It? If Yes, Why? on: November 12, 2019, 03:02:53 AM
The much-anticipated PAC token backed by boxing champion Manny Pacquiao will be available on the GCOX crypto exchange starting from Nov. 12.

"The token has a variety of uses, as stated by Pacquaio in an email conversation with Cointelegraph:

“PAC token can be used for several purposes, the token will enable fans of the politician and sports star to connect through the Acclaim! social app. Users will receive loyalty points that can then be redeemed for autographed merchandise, complimentary tickets to meet-and-greet events with Pacquiao, as well as multimedia content such as access to live streams and motivational videos."

https://ct.com/80gn

I cannot find a single real-life problem that this token is trying to address. For cryptocurrency to be accepted properly and be adopted by the bigger population, it should be offering a product that solves a certain problem in the world, an innovative product that will give convenience and ease to people, or something that will disrupt the old way of doing things. With this token, there is none. I don't think the potential of this coin is great.
308  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: what is BCNEX? does it have a potential to overcome other exchanges? on: November 12, 2019, 02:41:02 AM
BCNEX looks like a young exchange that is full of potentials but only in terms of hype within this forum. Their bounty campaigns were popular here. I have seen a lot of members wearing their signature before. But then after the campaigns are over and the project is now left on its own and the development team, the noise is also gone. They need to extend their marketing promotion to the wider market because they have a lot of stronger competitors. For now, their potentials are not enough to compete with the big names such as Okex, Huobi, and Binance.
309  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: From Buying Pizza To Buying A Condo in Manhattan. Bitcoin is Fast Evolving on: November 12, 2019, 02:18:47 AM
Bitcoin has gone from a mere experiment to a real money. When Bitcoin was used to buy two boxes of pizza many years ago, it was done for the sake of experimenting or trying to show that Bitcoin could actually be used for buying stuff instead of using fiat. From then on, Bitcoin has grown to be both a currency and asset, but more of an asset nowadays. But this new transaction proves two points, that Bitcoin is not anymore the old experiment. It is a real currency that can buy properties worth millions in USD. And second, that Bitcoin is still a currency more than just an asset.
310  Economy / Exchanges / Re: DONT DEPOSIT ON HITBTC on: November 12, 2019, 01:56:58 AM
It's either someone hacked your account or the exchange itself hitbtc did that. Have you installed 2fa? It's for security purposes especially in trading. If you did not do the trading rransactions, they probably hacked your account. Contact the support and see what will be there response about this.

I don't think HitBTC would steal your coins in this way. If there are certain incidents wherein HitBTC is accused of stealing coins or not allowing users to have access to their accounts, it would not be in this manner in which it looks like someone is really controlling the account as a trader.

Create a support ticket and explain to them everything that has happened with complete details. They will probably give you some explanation.
311  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrency and Blockchain: same, same but different on: November 11, 2019, 09:44:54 AM
The meaning of cryptocurrency has already evolved through the years. When Bitcoin was created, it was done so with the goal in mind, that it will be used as an alternative to fiat. However, as years passed by and altcoins are coming into the crypto world, the case has changed. Many cryptocurrencies today are not anymore created as a medium of exchange. There are cryptocurrencies that are created as a form of stocks, or as a token used to participate in gambling, or as a token used to be able to get a loan, etc.
312  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bull Run is coming! on: November 11, 2019, 09:13:59 AM
Will this be enough to create a bull run? I don't think so. There are just some people who want to express their views in this manner. But I doubt if this manner of promoting Bitcoin will attract huge investors such as institutions and rich individuals, which are more or less the causes of fast bull run. Gradual adoption will increase the value of Bitcoin but rather slowly.
313  Economy / Economics / Re: Fiat currency value and Economy debt on: November 11, 2019, 06:35:31 AM
I think after economy  boom and the end of huge debt wich will be never repayed there will be Economy slow down and fiat currency Will have huge value!!
During the boom assets Prices going up... So More money Will Go the asset owners Once boom is over the most of the money Will be hands of the rich... Everybody Will be debted... Simply everybody is looking for money but simply there Will be significant smaller ammount of the money.

So in my opinion Bitcoin Can Go up like 100k to 500k.  Even 1 milj.... But at the end it will crash.
And after crash the fiat currency Will have biggest purache power.  Crypto Will be zero.

The point is that  debt and quantive easing will Give at the End More value to fiat currency!

So those who talking about fiat currency devaluatiion or so You are all wrong.

I cannot see the necessary connections you are trying to imply. The debt problem involving fiat is not going to make its value higher. I think the opposite is true. If the debt problem will persist in the level of individuals, companies, states, and nations for a long time, there will come a point when they would think that this fiat system is making everything hard. That has been the case involving over-printing of fiat to support a need, whatever it is.
314  Economy / Exchanges / Re: DONT DEPOSIT ON HITBTC on: November 11, 2019, 05:39:25 AM
My balance is emptied! I don't know what happen but my XRP converted into BOX then trade into EOS until it became empty.

Anyone similar to this situation?

So far, I have not experienced such unexplained movements and trades of my coins in HitBTC. I have an account there because many coins that found it difficult to get listed on exchanges were mostly accepted by the platform. They must have a low listing fee as well as low qualification for listing.

I have heard many stories and complaints against HitBTC. But it looks like what is happening to your account is not due to HitBTC. The exchange site may hold and freeze your account or coins or deposits and withdrawals, suddenly asks KYC from you, and so on but not trade your coins. That is probably done by a hacker.
315  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What have been some of your biggest losses/mistakes and successes with trading? on: November 11, 2019, 05:11:28 AM
Any interesting stories to pass the time while we wait for the next boom?

My experiences are not really that interesting to share. But let this be shared anyway so that this will become a lesson to many. I used to have a group chat made up of traders. I cannot confirm that personally of course, just like any channels and group chats claiming to be giving away free signals. I did trading based on their signals. The ending was not good enough. I ended up selling with a loss. Some I HODL for a very long time already.
316  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Saving for a House! on: November 10, 2019, 09:01:45 AM
Storing on crypto even though the stable coin chooses is still very risky. Not only is the price changed or the project is dead but can also be hit with a hack or something.
Safer in banks if you keep so much money to minimize risk. But if you still choose crypto think about it well and set your plan forward.

In this case, I agree that the money should be saved in the banks instead. At least you have an insurance for it. In crypto, you have none. This is a perfect example of a money that you cannot afford to lose. This is your own and your family's house that is at stake here. You should not risk it for crypto. If you really want to enter into crypto, don't risk everything. Take a little portion of it and invest in top existing coins.
317  Economy / Economics / Re: Distribution of coins across holders? on: November 10, 2019, 08:30:19 AM
Is there a website where I can view the wealth distribution of BTC and different altcoins?

I know such data are only estimates (address != holder, exchange wallets, etc.), but would still like to get a feeling of how different coins are distributed among its holders.

I don't think there is one. But there were lists of the richest Bitcoin wallets that have been spreading. There is no big deal to those information though. Those wallets that are known to be the richest are definitely not owned by individual Bitcoin supporters or even early adopters. They are most probably wallets of institutional investors, companies, and exchanges.
318  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is worth to invest in dogecoin? on: November 10, 2019, 08:01:07 AM
Well!! Did you know? Dogecoin has gained a lot of popularity in the crypto space, as a lot of experts like Elon musk, vitalik, and john McAfee have shown love and support for dogecoin.

On the other hand, experts predict that dogecoin price will rise high in the upcoming years.

What's your take on dogecoin?

Doge is a nice coin and for as long as the project will continue with its promotion and development, I guess it will remain to be one of the coins that a lot of crypto users would prefer, especially in tipping purposes. Its billions of total supply had served their purpose well enough. I appreciate how the team behind the project kept it alive and made it to the top despite its initial plan which was just a meme coin. I cannot consider long term HODLing of DOGE the best choice though. HODL until profit is made.

Big growth won't happen on dogecoin just like you said, dogecoin is just a memecoin and people use it just for tipping purpose or sending money between exchanges with low fees.
Is there any chance for dogecoins to grow big ? I think in normal case no, but if the whales are playing and make dogecoin looks like something, it would happen. But nothing special from dogecoins but the name.

One of my considerations when I said that DOGE is not good for long term HODLing is that the total supply of DOGE is more than a hundred billion and its market cap is already reaching a few hundreds of millions in USD. If HODLing means you are expecting that the value of your coins will reach x5 or more, it might not happen to DOGE. Because that would mean DOGE reaches a marketcap of more than a billion USD. It may happen but only if the entire crypto market cap is also reaching trillions.
319  Economy / Economics / Re: Malaysia to Limit Cash Transactions in 2020 on: November 10, 2019, 03:23:14 AM
Are the people of Malaysia ready for a cashless society?
Cashless society can be realized with the attention of the government in the preparation of adequate and equitable digital infrastructure, digital literacy and financial literacy.

A cashless society is for those countries that are already fully developed, which Malaysia is not yet unfortunately. But this will be done gradually and step by step of course. This will not be done at an instant. I believe Malaysia has a lot of rural areas which cannot cope with this advancement of cashless technologies and policies. The country has to take into consideration these areas as well.
