301  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Loss in trading on: January 14, 2018, 11:44:17 AM
I am a newbie, I just want to ask how exactly are you losing your money in trading? Can anybody explain how you lose your money in trading? Correct me if I'm wrong I just think that when you buy high but you sell it in low price I think you lose, right? What if you you buy it at a higher price then the price falls on the next days or week will you loss something? What if you'll just hold for it and wait for the price to bounce back? Thanks for your opinions! ☺️
The loss occurs when you buy high prices and it continues to decrease you have to sell at a low price. Everyone lost by selling Altcoin at a price lower than the price they bought. Do not invest in high altcoin pump.
302  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: did you place all your funds into bitcoin? on: January 14, 2018, 11:37:50 AM
I am thinking .. to put all my money in bitcoin what do you think? is it a good way to grow my money? or it is risky or.. ?
Many people have put all their money into Bitcoin and a lot of people have received a lot of money from making this decision. There are also many who go after buying it when the price is too high and must accept the loss.
303  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: you need to overcome your fear of losing money on: January 14, 2018, 11:36:15 AM
Losing is part of successfully trading. If you treat losing as part of trading then you are an experienced trader.
When deciding to participate in trading we should accept the loss because many Altcoin prices can continue to pump dump. To avoid this, invest in Altcoin with a large trading volume to reduce risk.
304  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What encourages you to invest in any altcoin? on: January 14, 2018, 05:48:51 AM
I am a crypto enthusiastic and i know a 90% of people here on bitcointalk are as well.
There are a lot of altcoins in the market today. What should one look out for before investing in any altcoin
People invest in ALtcoin because they always see the good from it, you can spend $ 1000 to own any Altcoin in a few months you can get back some $ 1000 from selling them.
305  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH fork in January 19 on: January 14, 2018, 05:44:11 AM
hard fork Ethereum? This is helping Ethereum move faster as more people are trying to get as much Ethreum to get as many ETZ as possible?
306  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why are people buying Ripple? on: January 14, 2018, 05:38:49 AM
  • it is explicitly (or at least formerly) not considered a currency
  • it is centralized (the company can freeze accounts if it wants, create more coins, or be sued)
  • it's major use case is for inter-bank transfers. So if Bank A and Bank B was to exchange currency x for y, they will use XRP in-between. But this gives no value to the currency itself, it is just used as an intermediary. Is it conceivable that Ripple the company will not have enough XRP for these internal bank transfers and they are going to have to buy them back from the public??

So it seems that XRP has no value outside its use by the company Ripple. Is anyone actually using it for commerce or any other reason? It is not considered a store of value like bitcoin (in any case one would want something decentralized.
I think Ripple has made a lot of good changes as well as they have come up with a new roadmap that will help all traders see the potential of it to thrive in the future which makes many people notice it as well as invest in it.
307  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: life of a trader on: January 14, 2018, 05:36:00 AM
please i need advice from those traders have has been in the business for long, how do you combine it with your other normal life activities , i mean cryptocurrency trading , i just started and am glued to my phone every second , advice will be appreciated  Grin Grin Grin Grin
I do not have good advice for you because most of the traders are sitting in front of the computer or using their phone once to check the Altcoin they are investing. I am a person who stays awake every night and goes to sleep when it is light  Grin Grin Grin Grin
308  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you actually understand Ethereum? on: January 14, 2018, 05:32:23 AM
If you dont understand Ethereum, check out my free article Ethereum 101

Most people really dont understand Ethereum, which is going to be damaging to the market. I have heard friends and have seen posts even on here with people who are investing that dont even understand smart contracts, proof of stake etc

Did you know their are 2 Casper's?

When you invest in a coin, how much time do you spend researching it? I normally spend at least 3 hours learning everything I can from it before I attempt to make an investment of even $1. It is important to understand the coin from a general level, and if you can understand it from a technical level that is even better.
A lot of people invest in Altcoin because they see a lot of people on it, which proves they never read white papers before investing in any ALTCOIN, they just follow the trend.

310  Economy / Economics / Re: Time is money, how you manage your money and time ? on: December 26, 2017, 07:22:03 AM
I often set the schedule for myself and always do it to create a good habit to master my time.  And always check before buying something I use and really need to buy it.
311  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin contribution to world economy on: December 26, 2017, 07:13:06 AM
How do you think bitcoin will affect the world economy by 2028?
Bitcoin is pushing many investors into the crypto market, many of which have hired crypto and have acquired a large amount of money that has driven the country's development.
312  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think Bitcoin will survive after 100 year ? on: December 25, 2017, 07:45:53 AM
I am asking this just to see the different opinions of Bitcoin community about its long term potential

I know Bitcoin is actually strong enough and stable as well

But what do you think about it after 100 years ?
a 100 years is too long can exist. I think in the next 10-20 years there will be a good enough altcoin to replace bitcoin.
313  Other / Off-topic / Re: Bitcoin is a good investment now, because... on: December 25, 2017, 07:41:56 AM
If someone invested in bitcoins when the value was 15,000-18,000, then right now they may be regretting that decision. This is a foolish decision if you do not invest in time.
314  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What are your thoughts for Bitcoin in 2017? on: December 25, 2017, 07:40:11 AM
As we enter 2017, Bitcoin begins with a fresh start making it worth nearly $1000 per coin. Users, banks, and even governments are becoming more interested into Bitcoin, and its underlying technology called the Blockchain.

Now, as we progress into making Bitcoin more scalable and efficient than ever, I would like to know what are your thoughts for the pioneer cryptocurrency in 2017?

If all goes well for Bitcoin this year, it might increase its value more than $1000, as well as become closer to being used as a mainstream currency. What do you think?  Smiley
bitcoin in the year 2017 full of surprises that make us really surprised, bitcoin prices have gone up madly and fallen uncontrollably at the end of the year. This is really an unforgettable thing for the crypto market in 2017.
315  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin will either go to $8000 or $20000. on: December 25, 2017, 07:31:15 AM
Which do you think is more likely to happen?
I think the bitcoin price will drop below $ 8000 and then the bitcoin will come back and reach $ 20,000 in a month. That's my idea of bitcoin in future.
316  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What are the chances BTC is replaced by something better soon? on: December 25, 2017, 07:29:07 AM
"Soon" would be in the next 1-3 years or so.

One of the biggest dangers for BTC is something more useful coming along and investors switching - a process which could happen extremely fast, once started.

So to all the tech savy people in here - what advantages could other cryptocurrencies bring that will give them a crucial edge over BTC, and how fast could something like that come along?
I'm thinking that the shark tank is planning to make bitcoin cash into altcoin instead of bitcoin in the next few years as the price of bitcoin is increasing even though the price of bitcoin dump high.

318  Economy / Economics / Re: How to make money only with BTC on: December 24, 2017, 10:14:09 AM
I hear many saying they don't mess with altcoins...how do you make money with btc?

Just buy the dips, sell for usd (or other fiat), then buy back in...rinse and repeat?

I'm not talking about long term holding but about how to build up your bitcoin without touching alts.

Thanks

You should create a wallet to save the bitcoin and you send a sum of money every day to that wallet and only use it after a certain time or need to use it.
319  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin as a Christmas gift on: December 24, 2017, 10:06:05 AM
Bitcoin breaking it’s high-price again and again, multiple purposes rather than payment system and future investment.
All this make bitcoin a perfect gift for your love, wife, and family.

1.  your gift for Christmas will be a bitcoin?.
2. your ways to gift bitcoins "Hardware wallet, bitcoin gifts, paper wallet, Physical Coins, Donate"?.

It seems bitcoiner has a sad Christmas because the bitcoin price is dump and unstable can take quite a long time bitcoin can return. What a sad news for all bitcoiners.
320  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin's price is getting low on: December 24, 2017, 10:04:14 AM
This week, bitcoin's price gets low. Based on the article that i read, it says thats they cant trace the reason why its getting low. They said it might be because some used to hack and mine bitcoins. They also said that maybe it was because there are new cryptos.
What do you think is the main reason? Do you think its price will still rise?
It fell sharply and started to return today but it looks like it will continue to dump sharply in the next few days or maybe next few hours. So do not make decisions when the market fluctuates.
