301  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: CRYPTSY stopping withdraw locking accounts without notifying users! Class Action on: October 24, 2015, 12:32:23 AM
bittrex.com
c-cex.com
yobit.net
poloniex.com
bter.com

What do all of these exchanges have in common that cryptsy doesnt have in common?

They have all been hacked at least once. GG gentlemen. Carry on.

Well if your arguing in favor of cryptsy you're in the wrong thread but can you cite evidence for your claim that all of those exchanges have been hacked at least once?

It's common-knowledge: all of those exchanges have been hacked at least once.

I dont know about the others, but I know bittrex.com has never been hacked.  If you have info to the contrary, i'd love to see it.

thanks,
richie@bittrex

bittrex is the best alt exchange imho
wipes the floor with cryptsy
302  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: CRYPTSY stopping withdraw locking accounts without notifying users! Class Action on: October 22, 2015, 01:51:08 PM
everything that could be wrong with cryptsy a.k.a project investors inc. is

after having wallets out of action for a month and still ongoing, people were locked out of accounts, saying wrong password when they had entered correct. do password reset, then you are locked out for minimum day from withdrawals, 'for security', well, guess what, it keeps going, to stop you withdrawing

then when people do manage to submit a withdrawal, there's a 'problem' with btc withdrawals again, just check cryptsy trollbox, it has been same thing for weeks now.
we really need a chatbox trollboc archive klike they have for btce, that way archive their bullshit and problems

add to that support are simply not answering, at all, or on rare occurrence they do, have no answers
no answers here, nothing on tiwtter

then they surprise with having to be verified, kyc all this shit
and guess what, when yo do and gib=ve all the details and try to withdraw a tiny amount, WAY below the amount you ca,, you get a popup saying yiou reached your limit

i believe cryptsy are insolvent or do not have enough coins, this is added to fact they are completely incompetent as proved over years , this is in turn causing a run on coins

bear in mind if this thread was in main altcoin section, it would be even worse.. I think we need a class action, lawsuit if it goes much longer and send the press round to his house like mark karpeles as what is hapening right now is not just incompetence, it is at the very least criminal negligence

contuinue to post your problems and let us know when you get your coins out of hell!

matter of time before cryptsy collapses imho
as you cannot continue treating people like this and expect their custom. once coins are out I will NEVER return, I expect there are hundreds at least who feel same way
303  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will BTC reach $300 this month? on: October 20, 2015, 11:38:55 PM
I think so, yes
304  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is this the next big run-up in price? on: October 20, 2015, 11:37:14 PM
I have a hunch that this is a false dawn. We have been in a bear market for so long and everyone has been waiting and hoping for riches that we are seeing what we want to see.

now that China has given the seal of approval on Bitcoin

have they?
305  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Dont trade with Cryptsy! Rip off! on: October 19, 2015, 08:13:14 PM
i think its a safe call at this point to say that cryptsy has turned full scam. theyre clearly refusing to pay out withdrawals, but are still accepting deposits in whatever form,
http://siliconangle.com/blog/2015/10/19/bitcoin-exchange-cryptsy-may-have-gone-full-mt-gox-refuses-to-pay-out-customers/

the site has had some warning signs for the past few months, but its on the verge of collapse now.

yup

also please note how many warnings are coming from hero members and legendary members
I think a thread needs to be made in altcoin section as this is too hidden away
306  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Dont trade with Cryptsy! Rip off! on: October 19, 2015, 07:22:17 PM
I am currious, regarding the canadien website of cryptsy. Is there any law suit I can jump in?

start off by reporting them to www.ripoffreport.com

every person affected needs to do this
post cryotsy forum threads too so people can see how many people affected

gets warning out to new users who may be saved from joining this scamdump
then puts pressure on cryptsy to sort out your problems, which they are not responding to
via support, via twitter, via chatbox, forum, anything
locked out accounts, locked down wallets, now rewarding for deposist! LMAO

read coinfire http://coinfire.io/2015/10/04/federal-investigations-of-cryptsy-underway/

nothing is proved, but on all evidence I have seen on their highly unprofessional beahviour, zero support, stealing coins by not allowing users access to THEIR property or unable to withdraw makes me feel coinfire are no liars
307  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: CRYPTSY stopping withdraw locking accounts without notifying users! Class Action on: October 19, 2015, 07:42:15 AM
there is no end of cryptsy scam threads here going back years
they have been screwing people over for a long time
maybe we should start a poll to see how many people are locked out of accounts on bitcointalk and also wallets been down weeks for them

plus in meantime would advise submitting your complaints to http://www.ripoffreport.com
that way get it official and on the net
will help warn future traders not to risk losing access to their coins and ultimately losing them and wach price go down, down and be unable to trade
be locked out of account

also support ignoring requests, people locked oiut of chat
the whole thing stinks

be sure to list coinfire article and bitcointalk threads and other forum complaints

next step, law enforcement reports
308  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: CRYPTSY stopping withdraw locking accounts without notifying users! Class Action on: October 17, 2015, 07:38:42 PM
@mullick it seems you are completely incompetent, along with everyone else at cryptsy

last time there excuses you were at a wedding in chat a week or two ago, you're on vacation now
these wallets have been down almost 3 weeks since you switched over

support is not answering tickets, for weeks, people getting locked out of accounts. I suggest deliberately

I think we are seeing the next mtgox, you lot wouldn't know your arse from your elbow if someone showed you

this is the problem that vern seemed to employ gimps off this forum who were clueless

get this sorted, get support sorted, get these wallets sorted
and let's start hearing some apologies to people involved

start addressing each individual problem or complaint gets filed
http://www.bbb.org/south-east-florida/

Taking a vacation now means someone is incompetent? The vacation was for the wedding and is almost 2 weeks. Not that its any of your business

DGB withdrawals not working - even though there is big pump since 24h that i have spoken of.

DGB wallet I have worked on the last few days. I got it down to 16 pending withdrawals last night and am currently trying to merge dust here to correct the issue. The wallet is so clogged it wont even respond to a listunspent rpc call. It will need a 24-48 hour maintenance window coming up but ill wait until all the excitement calms down a bit

http://digiexplorer.info/address/D9tRTjdopc84Zjp4sfQFpF3SJHsfdkYYiw

@Mullick,

Who is your backup person when you go on vacation as you indicated to me you were these past days?

Paul would be the one to work on wallet issues. There are some wallets only he has access to. I try to get an hour or two of work in every night when im on vacation. That usually doesnt include checking the forums

@mullick
listen arseclown I don't give a crap where you are, as long as there is someone at cryptsy to get these wallets sorted
they have been down 3 weeks as explained. have you been away 3 weeks? exactly
you are ALL  a bunch of incompetents, at the very least
now I assume you are getting paid? well I am losing money and cannot access my money and coins! along with hundreds or possibly thousands of people. now this isn't just negligent, it's criminal

all the questions and statements are here and in the countless cryptsy scam threads, tweets, all over internet

bitjohn, vern, you, all a bunch of idiots, I have frankly seen nothing like this in my life. I am sure a lot of shit will be catching up with you

I urge everyone to post real names of everyone involved in cryptsy, no hiding behind handles.
also submit official complaints to bbb
and if it goes much longer, being locked out of wallets, law enforcement
309  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: CRYPTSY stopping withdraw locking accounts without notifying users! Class Action on: October 16, 2015, 03:09:00 PM
95% of cryptsy is shitcoins, its what they do!

however, it is dozens of wallets down that never were before
some very good coins, they are claiming problem with cahin or whatever when everyones qt wallets are fine and chains are handling transactions

people just want to get coins OUT of this scamsite before they go bellyup

310  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Mark Karpeles in jail now? on: October 16, 2015, 10:46:50 AM
so Mark Karpeles which claiming he holds no bitcoins anymore it is a lie?

well he is in jail, i'm sure that in remote case he hide some coins in a paper wallet, somewhere in the world, he can use those anyway

i forgot if he was sentenced for life prison or just a few years

of course, I'm sure of it. chances are he's hiding something sort of private key of bitcoin wallet, which he has access and sell anytime when he got out of prison,

i think there is a chance Karpeles secreted a usb stick in tibane's asshole

312  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Now PayPal accounts can be funded with Bitcoin on: October 15, 2015, 08:46:08 PM
Coinimal, a Vienna based company, now allowing PayPal EUR accounts to be funded with Bitcoin & NXT.

https://www.coinimal.com/trades/sell/paypal

I don't get this. How did they achieve this? Is this official support of PayPal to bitcoin, or is it done through some 3rd party method?
Why isn't PayPal accepting Bitcoin directly already? I want to be able to buy anything on ebay with Bitcoin, im tired of the PayPal bullshit.

You sell the Bitcoin on Coinimal and get a Euro transfer on PayPal. This is no direct implementation of Bitcoin in PayPal.

is this an early April fools joke? i'm not buying this story, there must be something wrong there, paypal and bitcoin can't work together

No april fools joke, its live and can be used already. PayPal hasn't integrated Bitcoin directly, if you thought  that.

I smell a scam

Why do you say this? We are a fully registered GmbH in Vienna, Austra and are fully compliant with all regulations. Also we are already in business for a year with thousands of happy customers!
hmm, ok
maybe i was little hasty
i will take a closer look
313  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: CRYPTSY stopping withdraw locking accounts without notifying users! Class Action on: October 15, 2015, 07:30:51 PM
Still nothing from these assholes!

yup

let's keep these scammers at the top of scam section

every single one of them is guilty by association, bitjohn, bigvern, mullick, all the sycophant mods in chatbox

none of them doing a bloody thing, on here, on twitter, in support
it's all a big joke it seems to them

when they've alienated everyone on bitcointalk they won't have a business left
314  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Now PayPal accounts can be funded with Bitcoin on: October 15, 2015, 04:35:02 PM
I smell a scam
315  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [$70,000 ] BTC-E Refusing to Change My Old Email on My Account With 300 BTC on: October 15, 2015, 03:04:22 PM
try this member
he is one of owners
user: btc-e.com
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=33012

if you don't get any joy, this site would have logs of his ip, email etc
although they don't give it out normally, they will if law enforcement are involved

plus if you are american then you have an ace card as I doubt they will want their cover blown

look, bottomline they are not on the dark web, they founf silkroad anyway
btc-e owners will not be hard to find for police if it comes to that
from what you said, it is your property.
lawyers are very expensive, then you have to find one that actually knows anything about this area
this will be hard

I hope they can help you out before it comes to this, lets hope they havent spent it already!
316  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Mark Karpeles in jail now? on: October 14, 2015, 11:31:41 PM
if he's found guilty, after served his time and kicked out country back to france
he will have to serve another sentence in france, according to this

Quote
According to a joint report by Cyrus Farivar of Ars Technica and Pierre Alonso of Le Monde, Karpelès was found guilty of fraud when he was tried in absentia in France in 2010. He also admitted to having "pirated" a server to French authorities. He was sentenced to a year in jail but has not yet served his sentence.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mark_Karpel%C3%A8s

also the U.S will no doubt want to extradite him due to Americans using the platform and losing shitloads of cash

his pudgy white ass could be seeing some action on different continents lol
317  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: CRYPTSY stopping withdraw locking accounts without notifying users! Class Action on: October 14, 2015, 08:59:11 PM
let's keep the cryptsy scamtards at the top of the scam section

dozens of wallets 'under maintenance' for over 2 weeks, even though chains and wallets fine
prices being destroyed whilst people can't deposit and withdraw

people, understandably, not wanting to deposit btc with these scammers to buy, forcing alts down more

locking people out of accounts
banning in chat various people
not answering support tickets
not addressing tweets

sort your scamming selves out bitjohn and bigvern NOW
318  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: btc-e.com is a scam on: October 14, 2015, 08:52:26 PM
Well they gave in!

http://imgsnap.com/image/DP7

They finally removed the ban!!
But they still wrote that this is my last warning?? I am so done with them, it took me a whole month to get them to unban me and all that after 26 ticket replies and threat with lawsuit and hiring a lawyer. IF I didn't do it.. they would hold my money forever...

ditto, this morning
it was about 600 namecoins for me, which is not much now, but is principle
but they will go back up, in time

I did a couple of support tickets, i got one word broken english back each time

so eventually unlocked, and they just said, yes, but don't post viral links

lol
I never did, i told them to check trollboxarchive.com

don't forget all chats there are archived so you have further proof

I also sent them this link to show them we are not messing around
so maybe we helped each other!  Wink

either way
I will not use them again

now I just have to sort out cryptsy scammers!

I am very long in tooth and been in this game years, I don't hold much coin on exchanges but you have to hold some!

I actually think btce are far more trustworthy than cryptsy even though they are secretive, they are VERY suspicious of scammers and hackers.
plus they have been unlucky with corrupt mods and rely on their english as seems people behind scene only speak russian

now! seen from scam section seems allcoin.com are scamming!

does it ever end lol
319  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [announce] Namecoin - a distributed naming system based on Bitcoin on: October 14, 2015, 09:14:50 AM
is this site trustworthy?

http://namecoin-wallet.com/

is it run by namecoin people as in namecoin.info etc

not going to try until some of the namecoin hero members say ok
thanks
