301  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: If Bitcoin dies does altcoin die? on: September 09, 2017, 06:15:24 AM
Bitcoin is a very popular crypto coin today, we know that Bitcoin will be very expensive in the future but I imagine if Bitcoin die, whether there will be hope for the future of altcoin? because most altcoin exchanges are to bitcoins
your opinion is highly appreciated. Smiley

If bitcoin die, which I hope will not happen, I think two things will possibly happen. Either altcoins will rise or will die together with btc. But most possibly one of them will rise and take the place of btc as king of crypto world. And which alt will rise on top will depend on which people will support and invest in.

309  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How will China's decision affect the market in your opinion? on: September 06, 2017, 11:55:26 AM
since the "China's decision" were to eliminate all the scams from the market you can be sure that the effects of it will be great on the market. because it is the first step of many towards having a much healthier altcoin market instead of hundreds after hundreds of scams which call themselves ICO and prey on the gullible.

My thoughts exactly. Let's face it and admit the fact that it is easy to create ICOs and most likely are scams. I think China did the right thing. It's not a good thing that many were victimized by those fake ICOs. It will lead to lost of trust in cryptocurrencies and those people who are yet to explore crypto world will be wary and might not believe in any crypto forever. And that's not a good thing for everyone.
310  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How this picture makes you feel ? on: September 04, 2017, 06:58:44 PM
for me both frustration (that i have not invested) and amazed from the value today and back then.
i think its neccesarry to check the history and act upon it.

the picture is from january 2017:

And to think that it was only 9 months ago. I just hope that I've known btc a little sooner maybe I am over the moon during these past few weeks. But I don't think there should be any regrets now. It just shows us that there's still plenty of time to invest in btc. Maybe next year the same thing will happen and we'll be looking at the figures of btc to as high as 10,000 usd.
311  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why bitcoin price is currently falling? on: September 04, 2017, 06:41:00 PM
Hi guys. About current fall in bitcoin price. Is that because China banned the ICOs? If so, why did it rise before that? Can you guys please recommend some books to read which explains about the factors influencing bitcoin price? Thanks in advance

I think that the current fall in btc price is quite normal. China banning ico might have also something about it but not entirely. I think the reason for the fall is that when we hit the all time high at $5,000 people started selling off their btc. Thus the decline of the price. And people will start buying in again just like the old times. It has been the cycle and I think it's just the way it is.
312  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If bitcoin has enemy (except altcoin) what is it? on: September 04, 2017, 04:59:56 PM
Bitcoins worst nightmare would be a crashdown of internet and power.

Honestly, when I read the topic I instantly agreed with the OP and thought that the government really is the biggest enemy. But then upon reading through the thread I concluded that your answer that crash down of electricity is the most reasonable answer. You ate right on this one. How can we even mine and trade btc if we don't have those two key factors? Everything online, btc and alts, will be useless if this will be the case.
313  Economy / Economics / Re: The Real Reason to Hold Gold And Bitcoin on: September 04, 2017, 01:30:02 PM
Gold and btc are good investments. They may be different in a lot of ways but one thing common in them is that they both have great value. Holding gold and bitcoin offer good profit and opportunity to have a better income. And I think it is good to invest in both of them. But I would really choose btc over gold if you will ask me. And we all know the reason.
314  Economy / Economics / Re: Is bitcoin dead? on: September 04, 2017, 12:15:15 PM
Bitcoin wouldn't be dead as long as the people have trust and support in the system. From what I see, bitcoin still has the largest market cap in cryptos. It also increases its price at a ridiculous rate and is getting popular by the day. So I'm guessing bitcoin would be around for a long time.

But the warnings are already there. A few months back, Bitcoin had more than 90% share of crypto-coin market capitalization. It has declined to around 45% now. And Ethereum is posing a major challenge to the dominance of Bitcoin for the past many months. And another major challenge is coming from the Bitcoin Cash altcoin.

I don't think so. Once ethereum and bitcoin cash or any other alts have the same or at least half of btc's value then that's the only time I'm gonna believe that they really are a threat to btc. But right now, there's a zero chance for btc to be dead. Just look at the trends since segwit activation. Btc will only be dead if everyone pulls out and sell off their BTCs and the value went down to zero.
315  Economy / Economics / Re: Being a Smart Person or Strategic on: September 04, 2017, 08:46:31 AM
Is it enough to be smart with just nothing to lean on and go on with your life? Because i feel that there are a lot of people who doesn't know how to handle their money with regards to see in the future. Is it enough to be smart and not be strategical or somewhat a person who has a lot of experience. Who would you choose?

For me it is required to be a master of both things like of course you can not have experience if you are not going to try and some people would think it's a waste of their time if they are doing what they know already like repeating their work over and over again. So it should be in a balance.

I think being smart and strategic both goes hand in hand. If one person is smart, he can decide reasonably and strategically. Just because one is smart doesn't mean that he is entirely a smart person who knows everything. Every individual have our own specialty and range of understanding. And having said that smart and strategic goes hand in hand it means that a person with enough knowledge can have an effective strategy on a certain situation. It's neither enough that he's just smart nor he's strategic and I agree with you that there should be balance in both traits.
316  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin accepted as a type of installment on: September 04, 2017, 05:49:32 AM
Would be Bitcoin still be high in demand if its introduced and accepted by the market worldwide ? or the Bitcoin sales will increase ?

Of course once btc is introduced and accepted by the market on a worldwide level it will have a higher demand. Which would also result to btc sales increase. Imagine if every establishments in the world accepts btc then the demand will go up and the price too. I imagine we'll have difficulty to get our hands on a single btc. Its price will be unbelievably high I'm not sure of I can afford anymore.
317  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin to 7000 HOT SEPTEMBER on: September 04, 2017, 05:17:10 AM
My Best Forecast so Far!

Target 6800-8400 per 1 btc

Current price 4844

Stop
Short term at 4723

Which gives us enormous profit factor of 23

HOT SEPTEMBER, feel the magic. #11

simplefx prices

That's a good speculation for this month of September. Though I'm not sure about reaching $8,400 this soon. Maybe we'll be seeing between 5500 and not higher than 6000. I guess major increase will be happening after November. And since most people will have higher income and bonuses during November and December I guess there are people who have it in their mind to save some of it for btc investment. Which in turn will result to a massive value increase.
318  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Price Hits Record $5,000 Traders Initiate Sell-Off as Price Drops $400 on: September 03, 2017, 11:27:36 AM
Bitcoin price touched the $5,000 mark for the first time this week, confirming Max Keiser’s prediction that it would reach that milestone this week...

All major exchanges stayed below $5000.
Bitfinex 4970
Bitstamp 4979
Coinbase 4980

We are still below $5000, but it doesn't matter the price is inevitably going that way. No panic and no regrets, we'll get there soon enough.

Agreed. We all have to hold and wait for that time. Btc may go down one of these days but I guess that once it went up again of course the only result will be the $5,000 mark breached.

Corrections are normal and yes, there's nothing to worry and panic about. We've been patient enough during the past especially when a massive decline happened last July. But look where we at now with just less than 2 months from the decline.
319  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is Speculating A Bad Thing? on: September 03, 2017, 10:53:57 AM
Not at all. I never thought that speculating is a bad thing. It actually boosts confidence of people to invest more in btc. If a person is new and reads about the speculations of other users there will be a huge possibility that person will act accordingly. There really is nothing bad about speculating. Since what we are speculating is also inclined with the current trend of btc whether it will profit or lose and on what percentage.
320  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Can be $5,000 Again? on: September 03, 2017, 04:53:56 AM
Wow, did we just really reached $5,000? I wasn't aware since I've got busy these past days but that's good to hear. We can't blame people if they got excited about that and started selling out especially the traders. I think we can achieve that price again within this week. And maybe we'll be at 5500 to 6000 by the end of the month. Thus, taking us to $10,000 by the end of this year.
