3003  Economy / Speculation / Re: China did not "Ban" Bitcoin - Stop with this FUD on: December 06, 2013, 11:06:22 PM
Good post, we need to stop the propaganda!!!

They could have done far worse things than regulate their banks. I would have expected China to ban bitcoin by default.
All governments are giving bitcoin a chance to succeed which is a good thing!

3007  Economy / Speculation / Re: Borrowed $1,000,000 (1 million dollars) from my dad to invest in BTC (serious) on: December 06, 2013, 08:57:15 PM
Put $1m into a mining rig. If 29 Mhash can be done for $15000 then you can do 1933 MHashes for $1m.
Probably you get some good discounts on hardware Cheesy

Results in 841 LTC per day which is 26572.95 USD per day.

Running a year and you have somewhere around $9698780 excl. power which is approx. 5-8x your money per year Cheesy
3008  Economy / Speculation / Re: bull trap or resistance? on: December 06, 2013, 08:49:30 PM
what the f* is going on stamp with the 800$ value. i just wonder.

maybe some people think that it's very cuteness point to buy or it's a bull trap and then we're going to <500 this weekend.

Fontas got arrested/killed so no pump and dumps.

Hopefully CENT is not dead yet  Cry I invested some money into it but even at cryptsy.com CENT/XPM is only 0.00000002 – hopefully it comes back soon. Thanks for all your support.

Are there any other people still invested into it?  Huh Any people still believe into it?

I bought some cent today

Me too but I made a wrong click and traded all my COL for it instead of a part. Hopefully CENT will go to 0.1 BTC soon Tongue

3019  Economy / Speculation / Re: what's the easiest way to trade coins for coins on: December 05, 2013, 11:08:59 PM
I wouldn't opt for BTC-e. I would go for Cryptsy. I would atleast go for an exchange you trust.

Reasons why I stopped using BTC-e
 - Withdrawl of Litecoin went up to 0.5 LTC which is outrageous.
 - Somebody I know got ripped on BTC-e. Didn't get a withdrawl confirmation mail when they stole his money. Changed his passwords regularly, different mail and btc-e passwords. BTC-e replied to his support call by blocking his account with no answer. The reaction gives a strong sense of BTC-e not caring about their customers.

Cryptsy on the other hand has the top notch support. I've raised multiple calls from LKY addresses not being generated to order cancelations that had delays.
They have given me in depth information on the situation and have resolved all tickets to satisfaction. They do have issues due to the growing amount of customers and trade volumes.

3020  Economy / Speculation / Re: Here's two major reasons why Bitcoin will soon pass $2000 on: December 05, 2013, 10:55:51 PM
1. India
2. Brazil

These countries have shit loads of money ready to be invested in new opportunities. Once these guys go crazy over Bitcoin, I expect another huge, HUGE rise.
honestly I doubt this at least at this point. We are still waiting for Europe to join the card, maybe than other countries will recognize bitcoin as serious investment

Europe is already in. I've been into bitcoin a while and half my department own bitcoins.
Even my mom and uncle knows about bitcoin.

Germany sees bitcoin as a valid denomination of money.
Holland has indicated how tax should be paid on bitcoin. You can buy bitcoin through your bank.

What do you mean with "We are still waiting for Europe to join the card" ?

Blockchain hold 27mils transactions.
Assuming every transaction is to a unique person we would still only have less than 5% of Europe population abroad

A lot of europeans know about bitcoin but don't participate.
I don't think >10% of the USA is in bitcoin either.

Yes I do believe that the heavy investors still need to get into bitcoin and believe it will drive the prive to new levels.
Another problem is that a lot of people don't understand how bitcoin works.
