3001  Economy / Economics / Re: What is better - cryptocurrency trading or investing? on: July 14, 2021, 09:41:55 PM
I have been a day trader but want to know if it’s a good idea to hold bitcoin for long, whether it will be more profitable?
There is no guarantee for profit in this market, you have to focus on your goal and be consistent because this market will throw a lot of challenges to you even if you are just holding. Bitcoin for long is good as long as you know when to sell because there’s a chance to make a new ATH in short term so it will depend on you either to sell or to keep holding. Being a trader takes a lot of actions and confidence, if you still not familiar with it don’t take too much risk.
3002  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: BogSwap better alternative to Pankcakeswap on: July 13, 2021, 11:23:58 PM
...

@OP..have you tried DEX Biswap?

It's been a few weeks that I haven't used pancakeswap anymore. I'm actively exchanging on Biswap because with every transaction I make, I get a Biswap token. really very innovative.
This is my first time to hear about this DEX, though I’m still using Pancakeswap for some reason but I’m still looking for best alternatives both for BSC and ETH network. Anyway, pancakeswap still has a good numbers, though there are problem raises before but I think they are working with that already, it is still good to have backup.
3003  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Reasons why they get it all wrong when trading. on: July 13, 2021, 10:43:54 PM
Most traders what always kill them is greedy sometimes in trading you have to take a little profit and move or wait for dump before buying again but if you think you want a coin to do 2x,3x,4x before selling which is bad seriously is really good you aim high and sometimes is just better you sell with the little profit you are having and wait for retrace to avoid losing your money completely.

I think a lot of us are guilty with that kind of thinking at one point in our trading. That's human nature, we want to earn more as much as we can. But as we traverse this trading life, we learn more and we realize that chasing those high profits is not always worth to take. Because a lot of these projects turned out to be crap, you can't even get your initial investments back. It is better to keep valuable projects with active use case in the market. But for those pump and dump coins, better get rid of them while you can.
Mistakes in trading is normal and honestly, its hard to control your emotion at first but with your experience in trading, you can also adopt and know how to control such emotions, being greedy should depend on the situation. As a trader, we have to setup our own standards and discipline, we can’t copy anyone’s strategy because that might not work to us. Trading is very risky, many are losing because of their own behavior.
3004  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: correct trading signals on: July 13, 2021, 09:59:09 PM
i am new in crypto world and i don't know how can i get right signals on right time . i joined some paid group but they gave me some good and some bad signals too. then i learned about indicators and i used some indicators but some time it didn't work for me. i want to know that where am i making mistake and what should i do to get a handsome profit.
This will depends on your trading strategy because you can use any indicators just have a perfect combinations and you’ll see what to do next. You already made a good decision by leaving that signal group and learning the indicators on your own, maybe you should learn more and have strategy every time you trade and once you know it already, you can have that profit in your account, just keep on learning.
3005  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling or playing? on: July 13, 2021, 09:24:49 PM
While the idea is creative, this may pose potential problems with existing laws regarding gambling as it exposes such to minors.

Remember that most MMORPGs have a player-base composing of minors to adults. Implementing an in-game gambling system within the game would be contrary to law since minors would be involved in them at an early age. This is also the reason on why most games have problems with the "loot box" system where some laws force these game developers to publish the rates of acquiring rare-legendary items as it is concealed in the form of gambling.
This is also my concern when minors are not allowed to gamble on any site despite of being anonymous but once you’ve violate this, bigger problem will come to you. Better to focus on gambling itself, it is profitable and many crypto users are into gambling than to gaming, you have to consider the rules and regulations on most of of the country including your origin to avoid law suit.
3006  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Philhealth + Crypto = Fake News? (Pero what if) on: July 12, 2021, 10:56:22 PM
Possible, since crypto investment can't be trace especially if you are dealing with the market privately, pero masyadong malaking pera ito kaya hinde basta basta. May liquidation documents na nailabas ang Philhealth and already in COA for investigation, for sure there's still a corruption but not the whole amount, di naman siguro ganoon sila kapabaya sa pangungurap nila, malaking pera madaling mabisto mga professional corrupt na yan, kaya I'm sure hinde nila ilalabas ang pera na yan basta basta.
3007  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: This is heartbreaking on: July 12, 2021, 10:35:24 PM
This is not a heartbreaking but an alarming situation where everyone can easily create their own token and scam people, I'm staying away for the hype of meme token and for me, it's not that active anymore right now and the hype is slowly dying. DOGE started this all especially with a hype of Elon, many lose their money and that's the result for being greedy, we should always learn from this bad experience.
3008  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How crypto currency change your Life? on: July 10, 2021, 09:51:52 PM
Crypto change everything in my life for the better, before I’m just an ordinary worker but now I was able to earn some extra money to support for my family needs and I’m happy that I took the risk grabbing this opportunity, I know this is not forever but I’m forever thankful for every opportunity I had and I will have here in the market. Cryptocurrency made me stronger, and allows me to stand on my own this is not over yet and this is just a beginning of a wonderful future of cryptocurrency.
3009  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: signs of gambling addiction on: July 10, 2021, 07:38:04 PM
Yes, that sounds like a pretty serious sign of addiction, if one can't sleep calmly and thinks of gambling instead. That is a pretty dangerous condition in terms of financial security because that obsession can lead a person to start gambling at night. The latter, obviously, is a bad idea since brain activity will be reduced and that person will make risky moves which he wouldn't normally do, and thus lose a lot of money.
The more you think, the more you can’t sleep and if you’re in a serious situation, that might be a sign of gambling addiction. The obsession to play more and to continue gambling without self-control is next to gambling addiction, losing money will happen next until you become broke. This is an early stage of addiction though, so its good if you already know what’s wrong with you, you can seek for some help and prevent this possible addiction.
3010  Local / Pamilihan / Re: SEC naglabas ng babala laban sa crypto, crowdfunding at franchising scam on: July 10, 2021, 12:48:00 PM
Bago lang sa akin tong mga to sir, ano ba yung modus operandi nila para kung sakali na may mga kakilala ako is may alam ako tungkol sa mga to, Ponzi or Pyramiding Scheme lang din po ba yung galwan ng mga ito?
Mostly pare-parehang lang sila ng style, basta if the offer is too good to be true magisip isip kana kase for sure, ponzi scheme yan at maaaring maging scam. Patuloy nag papaalala ang SEC sa mga ganton invesgment, wag itong baliwalain kase ito ang magsasave sayo at para hinde ka malugi.
3011  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Becareful with Meme Coins on: July 10, 2021, 12:27:28 PM
yes, indeed meme coins have provided a huge advantage when the pump occurs, but with a note for people who are just in time to get in and out of it, besides that there have been many who have suffered heavy losses from expecting too much meme coins. Better to reduce risk by investing in stronger coins like what you did.

Perhaps right now the doge coin is the most striking meme coin, which as you said has provided a lot of benefits to those who managed to read the situation, but as for other meme coins, I personally haven't seen its potential, and until now I'm not interested in taking it either.
DOGE is the most established meme coin and the rest are just trying to follow the hype by creating another meme project without a concrete plan in the market, and as you can see right now they are failing big time. Yes, there’s a lot of meme project before that rise unexpectedly, but without a hype they’ll die and they are starting to disappear now which I can say, this is indeed a healthy correction.
3012  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Fighting Game Betting on: July 10, 2021, 11:45:55 AM
Are there any betting sites that are offering odds for fighting games like Mortal Kombat, Street Fighter, Tekken or Injustice 2 out there? Kind of like watching competitive of this games and trying to do bets with it and my friend is asking if there's one so in a way, this is his question that I am relaying.
I don't think you will find betting for these games on crypto sportsbooks but you may have a better chance finding them at fiat ones. I believe right now most of the crypto sportsbooks have a common odds provider and there are mainly these esports you can bet on right now.

1- League of Legends
2- Dota2
3- Counter-Strike
4- King of Glory

Apart from these sometimes I have seen rocket leagues markets but rarely and I guess they only cover the bigger tournaments in such esports.
These are the common E-Sports that is available on some gambling site, I also doubt with the arcade games like street fighter, Tekken even though this is one of the best arcade games in history, still people are not playing this anymore because of the technology grows a lot and this is why its hard to find a crypto based site that offers this options.
3013  Economy / Gambling / Re: Roobet.com | Crypto’s Fastest Growing Casino 🦘 on: July 10, 2021, 10:24:11 AM
Just the other day someone wagered a million dollars on England to beat Denmark, and I think that bet may have won or lost (the game ended in tie but won in overtime so I don't know the situation) which had 700k winning reward, just because you may end up winning that doesn't mean you will keep winning forever, that 700k could be gone with another million dollar bet very easily. Long story short the point of the message was (probably) that only gamble to have fun and for entertainment purposes and not for gambling to earn money.

That bet was a loss as the player gambled on England’s win in regular time, not in overtime.

I can't even imagine how I would feel if I lost a million dollars. But, for a whale, that amount probably doesn't mean much in life. Therefore, the lesson of the story is that you should never gamble more than you can afford to lose.

Is this on a Roobet platform? Is betting already available?
As far as I know this is Roobet thread, I wonder why people are talking gambling on this thread in general. I do made some comment but I think that’s already enough.

If Betting/sports betting will be available on Roobet, this can be a good update, I don’t know though because I’m not updated with Roobet anymore.
3014  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Monitoring Bitcoin Transaction Fees on: July 09, 2021, 11:55:22 PM

napipilitan kase tayo na gumamit ng ibang network because of the fees, nakakapanghinayang kase.
Pwede rin gumamit ng mas mababang fee [kung hindi urgent] with free transaction accelerators [e.g. ViaBTC and AntPool].
Yes, malabong maging stable ang bitcoin network and eth network because of the mining tradanctions pero if you really care about the fees, marame naman alternatives though you need to do a lot of effort on this one especially if you need a specific token to buy. Lower fees can take a day, so make sure before you set up this one, di mo masyadong need ang pera nexperience ko ito before, and super hassle ang pagaantay.
3015  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: have you ever play or won from a crypto exchange lottery? on: July 09, 2021, 08:16:23 PM
I do play on local and online but I didn’t win any amount of money, lottery is one of the hardest thing to win on gambling, very rare to see a winners everyday. Anyway, to OP you misunderstood the real value of that lottery win but it’s not a big deal though, a win is still a win and the real question is, how much money the winner spend before he won on that lottery?
3016  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Your thoughts for half year on: July 09, 2021, 07:32:00 PM
Will the market go higher or lesser?

What is your fate as we have moved to next part of the remaining year.

I still hope the market will recover and Bitcoin make a new ATH. Bitcoin's current state is really worrying, whether it will recover or will fall deeper.
My current state is quite sad, because I still keep my Altcoins. so my portfolio is down around 75%
It’s hard to say that this market will recover at the end of the year I mean, to make another ATH but we already have a good run this year and maybe we will pause for a while and next year will start to regain the top position again. Don’t be sad holding your altcoins, as long as you have a good list of altcoins they you’re good, it will recover again and for me, we will still end this year with a good price.
3017  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Should I get a loan? on: July 09, 2021, 03:01:37 PM
thats the best kind of loan to collect and invest into crypto because no pressure and interest rate to pay back within a stipulated time. you can buy more especially if there is more dips. if you are currently in profits then dont rush to invest more now.
There’s a good and bad debt, you have to categorize this as a good one because its for investment purposes, the risk is there but if you are confident enough about the market then its your call, just don’t push yourself beyond your limit, that’s not healthy anymore if its beyond that. If its profit, take it and reinvest it so you won’t need to borrow money to anyone, just use that funds until it becomes big money.
3018  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: CMC price is different from the one declared by official website on: July 09, 2021, 02:06:39 PM
P.S: Final question, is the price on CMC (the main number you see at the top of the page) always calculated using the USD as a pair?......or could I find a coin confronted with coins like ETH, BTC, etc..?

Not always paired with USD, you can also choose to pair your Cryptocurrency with many Fiat currency pairs, you can also pair it with BTC and ETH.
You just need to click the "USD" button at the top right, next to the Language selection button
There's a lot of options that you can do in CMC, and you can actually change the currency into your local currency, though it might confused you since most of the cryptos are USD based. Anyway, some exchanges are different in values but not too much gap, maybe because it differs from the volume on those exchanges and that's why you'll see the gap, don't focus on CMC too much, just based the value of your portfolio on the exchange that you are using, that's more accurate.
3019  Economy / Gambling / Re: Duelbits.com | Instant BTC,ETH & LTC withdraws | $100k+/week contest | VIP | on: July 09, 2021, 01:54:41 PM
Some interesting guesses!

Still not going to give anything away yet though.. still too early! But its HUGE! I think everyone will LOVE it!  Grin
Duelbits will not disappoint us for sure, so this is worth waiting for especially for the gamblers that we are supporting this since then, though I like how Duelbits appreciate everyone by giving what they deserve.

Let me guess, is this an update with regards to Gambling investment? A games related? or a big daily bonuses and a weekly competition for the next 5 years?  Cheesy
3020  Local / Pamilihan / Re: PSE plans for crypto exchange on: July 08, 2021, 11:27:20 PM
It’s about time for them to understand and adopt cryptocurrency, masyado kase tayong nalalate compare to other countries pero syempre, maswerte paren tayo kase supportive ng BSP. Let’s wait for then to announce kung paano magiging systema nito, since marame pareng stocks trader ang hinde sumusubok ng crypto, oras na para magexplore for them.
