Chelsea vs Liverpool should be a great match. Both teams lost midweek although you could say both possibly didn’t deserve to lose. Chelsea missed a penalty which would have made it 1-1 & Liverpool conceded a penalty which shouldn’t have been given. I really don’t understand what is the point of VAR if it doesn’t change wrong decisions.
Any way, I think Chelsea vs Liverpool will be a close one, maybe a draw.

I have interest in Medvedev vs Donskoy and Coric vs Fucsovics match.
Coric vs Fucsovics is underway, and first set is very possible for Fucsovics. If so that then job for Coric will be a bit hard, lost any of the sent after that means he is out.
Considering Medvedev's recent form, he should easily win against Donskoy. Starting in few hours.

Bangladesh packed an easy win against Zimbabwe and reached on the final of tri-nation. Top-order batsman of BD has improved well and that why BD could put 175runs on the board. Zimbabwe bowled out within 136 runs and they are now out of the competition.
Bangladesh suffered the T20 against Afghanistan. Then they changed some players like Soumya, Shabbir to make an ideal squad. It will be interesting to see how this team performs against Afghanistan.

1. Warner average is 45ish in the test with 21 tons, even after performing bad. how many Test opener comes to your mind in recent time with this number?
2. Usman Khawaja average is 40ish in test and guess you forgot he made 750ish run in the last calendar year.
These are the exact reasons why I feel that retaining Warner was a smart choice despite his bad form lately. Whenever a player performs badly, the first thought that comes to anyone's mind is dropping him which is not a smart move. Warner will be back, but Khawaja is a great 2nd choice. I don't think they need to experiment with anyone else currently. These 2 are great openers and they have proven that time and time again. The openers are not in good form and not giving the start they wanted, their middle order is weak and the entire team revolves around Shakib Al Hasan and if he has a bad day with the bat then there is no one to rescue them, Bangladesh had a good world cup because Shakib Al Hasan was performing very well, they need to find new talents if not it will be difficult for them to even maintain a good winning streak even in their home soil. This final today is a rematch of the FIBA 2006 finals where on paper, Argentina has the edge and it's no brainer to think so because Pau Gasol is injured in the semis and can't play in the finals and he is the main man of the Spanish Squad but the result of the game is opposite to what many have expected, Spain dominated and dumped Argentina on that game. Argentina should have remember that moment and make that a motivation on this game today. I am betting for Argentina ( already had) as for me nobody has the edge. This might be a close game so i am putting some amount on the +5.5 handicap just in case. Good luck to us. There were so many upset results in this tournament so far and it will be a great end to the tournament if there is another upset in the finals as well. I think reaching the finals in the US open, push Medvedev to the 4th position already and should be switching places with Thiem, ranked 5th now.
@Royse777 - him winning Cincinnati open put his name in our radar. Also he won the Sophia Open early February this year so definitely he has the potential to be the next future number one here.
Yes I think they switch places and depending on how well Medvedev does in the tournaments coming up as we could see him finish in the top 3 at the end of the year. Medvedev is just under 2,000 points behind Federer so I'm not sure if he can achieve a top 3 finish but with the form he is in I wouldn't count him out on winning a few tournaments coming up. I think if Federer wins one of them or makes the final then he would shut Medvedev out of a top 3 finish. I think its going to be a great battle to see who finishes in the top 5 with Thiem holding it down right now but Zverev is closing in on him and lets not count out Tsitsipas who is just 1,100 points from the 5th ranking. It's possible that Medvedev can still land inside the top 3 at the end of the tournament depending on his performance in the next tournament and of course we will have to see how Federer will perform as well. His Cincinnati win lands him in the top 5, and then his runner-up in US Open push him in top 4. And there are still a lot of tennis tournaments in the this calendar year. Hope he remains healthy though, as this is one factor that can affect his performance and slow him down. Well if he is able to continue on with the form he is in then it is looking likely that he will end the year ranked in the top 3 thanks to the other members here posting how the points are score for winning and making finals in the up coming tournaments. It will be interesting to see if Federer will play in most of the remaining tournaments to try and keep his top 3 rank. I hope so, he really need to keep that form by entering lots of tournament prior to the end of the year. At least he can have so much experience and there's nothing to be ashamed if he ever does not land on the top 3. @Trofo, @TravelMug - Thank you for the explanation about the tennis point. I'm just wondering if Federer will take the rest of the season off and get ready for the start of the new season as I think it could be his last year next year. I think the big battle will be between Nadal and Djokovic for the number 1 ranking as Nadal is within striking distance. Nadal also has all the momentum right now so he could finish the year ranked number 1 once again. Nadal already talking about this he wants to end this season as Number 1 and he is chasing this as now we have some good Tennis in Asia and his target is arriving here and completing his target which is not difficult as we watch recently only Medevedev is only player who can challenge him others have not potential like this Djokovic is also not 100% so in my view he can achieve this easily. |

Spain goes to finals! but still what a nice game for Australia who brought a tremendous tough fight for Spain. Honestly, I respect Australia because they really played a wonderful game against Spain but Spain was able to handle the game till the end. With that been said, I never expect the Argentine would beat France due to the level they handle to the USA when they met them at the quarter-final like I said a couple of days this year tournament is full of surprises. We already have many surprises now time for good and quality Basketball and as Spain performing through out look like they are going to have this years crown and Argentina is also doing good but they are not enough to handle Spain. Still I am very happy as we have many exciting matches and no one was expecting we have teams like France and Australia in Semi finals. |

No word here for describing Afif Hossain. Significant batting at the end, saved the match. It's his 2nd t20, had some great success in BPL as well. Top order and middle order have done such poor performance.
I lost hope when 6 gone, didn't expect the win at all.
Afif Hossain is new and very good discovery for Bangladesh as they was very poor against Afghanistan in only test they need new talent like this and he done very good job against Zimbabwe which is already in very bad shape and now time for them also to rethink where are they going from here if they are not able to do good then time for ICC to completely terminate them from cricket. |

Just imagine what could have happened to Australia if Steve Smith was not there. IMO, the only player who gave him any sort of support was Marnus Labuschagne.
Smith is the only player performing consistently in both teams and England lost the match when he was injured, if any player was able to give Smith some support in this match he would have taken the team to a good score, now it is time for England to perform to save this match and i guess they will score a good lead and put the Aussies under fire in the final innings and i am going with England and draw to wage a bet in this match. Now its good time for England to have some decent lead and draw series as they have very good review on last ball of the day and Burns safe now tomorrow is very important if they able to 300+ this is going to be good for them Root is also under-pressure for not performing and few other batsmen also need to play some big inning for me its right now only England to win is good as Australian batting line up is also feeling pressure and only Smith and Labuschagne only doing good job all others have some poor series. |
