Still, the dynamics behind these changes can be very dangerous and need to be watched, especially by people that don't obey to norms, just because almost everybody else does. It's an expression of our (rather helpless) attempts to fight our own insecurities as humans. "together we are strong" basically says it all. OT: Covid-19 crap / Braindump
There's this dude on Twitter named @JamesTodaroMD, who is talking a lot about T-Cell Memory serving as a form of immunity to Coronaviruses, and Covid-19.
It's being hypothesized that folks with healthy immune systems, are near middle age, and have no co-morbidities, have good protection against Covid-19, if you've had colds in the past (been exposed to Coronaviruses before, on several occasions); can fight off and develop an immunity to a strain of Covid-19.
Also, T-Cells apparently are capable of forming immunity memory against Covid-19, and this is leading to PCR Tests for re-testing infections as near useless. If you've had Covid-19 already, test negative; it's possible to retest positive, while asymptomatic, at a later date, because the PCR test is detecting dead viral shedding of a Covid-19 infection that was already taken care of by your T-Cell memory, generating the needed immune response.
Also, it is speculated by the medical community there is "at least one more strain of Covid-19" which is possible to become full-course reinfected with, again.
Again, speaking about healthy folk here, with strong immune systems, and no co-morbidities.
So says research, yep. Additionally, the initial virus load an infected person's immune system has to fight off, correlates with the severity of symptoms. Common facemask reduces initial virus load, so it has some use as a protective. The more ACE2 receptors an individual has on infected tissue(s), the higher the possible number of successfully docking viruses, the heavier the infection gets. Immune system response time vs. initial virus load seems to be the key, to refine the term "strength". Of course, weak immune systems get overloaded by lighter infections. The good news: Viruses that are mutating get easier on their host(s) with each mutation. The virus doesn't "want" to kill the host, because it can't really replicate and spread if the host is dead. This is one explanation why secondary infections are easier, and why many folks experience light to symptom-free forms of covid. To sum it up, it really seems that life threatening sars-cov-2 will degrade to an even less dangerous kind of flu in the near future. It's up to everyone how to handle this and have his opinion, but don't forget that we are a social species, so please let's fuck that ego and keep taking care of others. It is statistically impossible to *not* have renewed viral transmission/exposure once social distancing measures are relaxed and people start interacting face-to-face again. Yep, it's a simple tradeoff, imho. I'd never take china's covid policy as "successful" example, but their mesaures just seemed to lower their case numbers considerably. Economy suffered badly, but not for a long time. In the US it's more like a slow economic starving, it seems. I didn't want to get balls deep into covid discussions in the WO again, but here we are. I might avoid it again, now. Torque, what tells me that the general worldwide reaction to covid was way over the top is a couple of things.
Since the black swan called "nine eleven" convinced the world that anywhere, anytime, anyhow, something life threatening can happen to anyone. Looked at this with emotional distance, it's a simple fact of life, the universe and all that. Most of "civilized" people just not were aware about it until then, and the media constanly reminds them about that. The world is in panic mode. Panic is a good foundation for stupid actions. This makes me worry more about the future than covid or the suicide bomber that might live next door. |

In WO, in in my own P&S thread, and elsewhere, I have been shouting from the rooftops since March that people should stop panicking. (Though there is something to panic about: Impending extreme economic hardship, starvation, and unlimited tyranny... I fear hunger more than I fear Covid!) I saw that the self-destructive mass reaction was bad; so did many others, IIRC (?) including you. If people don’t heed sound reason, I don’t see what the Chinese have to do with it—unless the Chinese somehow control other peoples’ governments, mainstream media, and masses of ordinary people who are blindly terrified into submission. I think we agree. My point was simply that the Covid-19 virus was not the second coming of the plague that every govt around the world *except China's* pretends it to be. The recent photos of them enjoying life almost to pre-Covid level days is the proof. And who would know better than the country where the virus originated in the first place, and with 1.4B people has the most to lose? Why the hell is the rest of the world still in lockdown mode? This is fkn ridiculous. I think it's because in the rest of the world (with minor exceptions) covid19 numbers are still rising, while china forcefully controlled the spreading rate. But that's the rub. Most people that take issue are denying the risk level that the MSM and govt is pushing, not that Covid-19 "isn't real" or "doesn't exist". I'm quite sure it does. But those people, the majority, get labeled as "conspiracy theorists" or "Covid deniers" and get thrown it with them anyway. So by the time i guess it's safe to say that covid's lethality is higher than the flu's. According to the CDC's own website data for the U.S., 94% of Covid-19 deaths had comorbities with some other cause of death (e.g., flu, pneumonia, heart disease, heart attack, blunt force trama, cancer, etc.). OK, that's a relation, but how was the data collected? Do we know if, for example, recorded heart attack victims were diagnosed covid19 post mortem or vice versa? Even if a flu patient dies of a heart attack, the flu is considered as reason of death, afaik. Only 6% of related Covid-19 deaths were tagged as "Covid only" cause (11,569 people in the U.S.).
Also, 99% of Covid-related deaths were over the age of 65. The majority were 70+.
How do these two figures compare to the flu, by the way? Still a lot to learn about Covid19 but the virus itself quite sure isn't faked, unlike some are confidently spreading that Covid "isn't real"... |

Protip: I heard that raw milk is better for you anyhow, so skip the pasteurizing and just stick with raw dogging your milk. You will thank me later, you dog.  I only go as high as 155° Fahrenheit, which leaves good amounts of "good" bacteria and kills most of the "bad" bacteria. Same advantages but safer for the kids. One of my kids suffered from bad Neurodermatitis, which completely vanished with the help of the mildly pasteurized raw milk. Plus, it lives longer in the fridge than unpasteurized milk. I bought bitcoin with the amount of $150 with the market price of the coin 11.3k market price and I'm trying to take investment because there is a chance that the price goes up into 15k.
Right now I'm seeing the price drops over 10k and continuously going down and this is not a good shot for me right now. The only choice is holding and wait again for another pump.
Just want to share my cruel mistake lol.
No mistake there. A mistake would be to liquidize these sats at loss. The most expensive satoshis i have bought were at a tad above $15k. I still hodl them since almost three years |

we will climb back to $11k soonish. and then it is decision time. we will either go through this barrier and all is good or we will get rejected. if we get rejected we will see 9k and in worst case 8k, but that is the very bearish case. I want to accumulate more, that is why I am even considering those scenarios..
