The last thing the Lakers want is Wiggins for lebron.  If they would ever get rid of lebron is for picks, they need a rebuild if they are dumping Bron.  If that then AD goes to a contender with young talent to shed.  Young talent deep draft picks and free agency splash and they will be back to looking forward.  They need to do something, but Wiggins he'll nah.  It would have to be kuminga or Wiseman and some draft picks.

Lakers are already rebuilding since the last years of Kobe but they failed. They should not dump Lebron as this team will get nowhere. The Lakers are a total dump before Lebron arrived. They just need to tweak some things like the failure of Vogel to distribute a good playing time to his players. When Lebron is not playing, look how bad they are.

Lebron makes a lot of excuses, I thought he would be able to compete in this award but his team sucks, so he will just continue to achieve individual success while the impact on his team is not seen and felt.

Lebron did his best but his team really sucks. He is also not stat-padding as his usual average even before. Almost the entire of his teammates are not consistent. I can't say the reason is that they just allow Lebron to make players as to when he is not playing, they still trash even against a lower seed team.

Unfortunately that they didn't use Anthony Davis much this season because him being prone to injury. Kendrick Nunn also robbed them lol.

Everyone is blaming Vogel but I've been saying it from the start of the season they are too old.  Vogel had to deal with a crazy amount of injuries, not cause of mistyped playing time just cause they are old.  Give this garbage te to any coach and it will end up the same result.  Not saying Vogel shoukd stay but if that's their move to get a new coach then next year is an auto loss as well.  Id scrap it for a year and rebuild.  The great thing Lakers has is the ability to sign free agents, people want to play in LA.  So get the picks and young players you can clear your salary and wait for a new crop of free agents and hopefully land a star in the draft.  This team doesn't need tweaks it needs a makeover.

3004  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is crypto becoming centralized? on: April 08, 2022, 11:12:29 PM
As crypto hits the mainstream, more businesses and companies are joining the game. We've seen innovations from NFTs to security tokens, and stablecoins. Most of the coins being traded on the market have smart contract functionalities, making them multi-purpose platforms for real world use. While all of this sounds nice, there's been an increasing rate of centralized exchange dominance over the past years. Not only that, but alternative cryptocurrencies (altcoins) have been prioritizing convenience on top of decentralization in order to provide people with lower fees and blazing-fast transaction confirmation times.

Most recently, Lightning Labs announced the creation of a new stablecoin that will operate in its "Taro" platform. If companies start to embrace stablecoins on top of traditional cryptocurrencies, then the whole industry will become heavily centralized. This should be a cause of concern, as a full government crackdown (or ban) could mark the end of crypto's prominence in the mainstream world.

Do you think ever-increasing centralization is a cause of concern? What would be the impact of tightening regulations over the entire crypto/Blockchain space? Will it still be able to survive? Your input will be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance. Smiley

Well since crypto was pretty much created to combat centralization so if you partake in centralized crypto, using exchanges as your wallet, etc it's your own fault.  Evolution leads to businesses trying to profit off of it but it's a create your own adventure, don't partake and stick to the origination of what crypto is here for.
3005  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How are you preparing for bear market on: April 08, 2022, 11:06:13 PM
Crypto can't survive without a bear market, if not everything will remain at one spot and no reason to invest anymore what is the best strategy to prepare for a bear market and at the same time keep making a profit from the present market condition.

It's a simple equation don't be caught with meme coins, low cap fringe coins, anything that had a mega pump already.  Convert to bitcoin and cost average buy bitcoin on the way down.  Will set you up to be in the green a lot quicker when the market turns.  In short:  STACK SATS!

LeBron hinted that he wanted to play with Stephen Curry, and Steph responded that he's good.

Imagine a world where Lakers get wiggins and some draft picks and whatever filler they can. In exchange for that Warriors get Lebron. I mean not only he is good enough even at that age, but dude would be the perfect player to play in that team. Just give him the ball, and watch him pile up assists like crazy. This isn't just lebron though, like rondo could do that even at this age, but his position is filled with curry, lebron is a great big that can pass, he could play the small ball line up as well. I mean this is just unreal for Warriors if it were to happen, would change the way a bit but could still be awesome for sure. Would love to watch that before he retires, dude could have like 12-13 assists per game avarages realistically and reach like 20 assists multiple times if he ever played there.

Nothing really stands out today, especially with all of those players being rested, rotations, and most teams having nothing to play for so close to the end of the regular season...not ideal. Still, i've opted to go with R. J. Barrett in my ticket as i did with my last/previous player prop:

R. J. Barrett 25+ PRA / O. Toppin 25+ PRA / R. J. Barrett 1+ 3pt @1.60

O. Toppin has covered the line in the three games he started for Randle. RJ is routinely getting 20+ shot attempts each game, and he's been on the ball a lot more with Randle out recording 13 assists in their last two games. He's made at least one three-pointer in 14 straight games and has attempted 20 in their previous two.

Jericho Sims O9.5 rebounds seem to be a good punt as well since he will be in the starting lineup for the second game in a row. Wizards are ranked near the bottom of the league in rebounds against opposing centers.

I might piggyback this bet.  This is going to be a fast paced game and there is going to be a ton of points as well as 3pg shot.  Rj definately getting 25, he is gonna shot 35 shots tonight lol.  Toppin is a question mark he has been playing well in place of Randle but sometimes he is invisible on the court.  Might ride this prop with you though

K. Durant 25+ pts / R.J. Barrett 20+ pts / A. Burks 1+ 3pt @1.68

I kinda missed out on Durant O28.5 points (line is now up to 30.5), so we go with a parlay instead. KD dropped 53 points the last time the Nets and Knicks played, i'm hoping he lights up MSG today, considering he took the day off against the Rockets yesterday. Knicks will be without Randle which means 20+ shot attempts for R.J. I'm also throwing Burks in there to make at least one 3pt, dude's averaging 3.2 3pt at .485 3pt%/L10, so he should be good for one.

Avid knick fan here.  There is nothing that will stop rj from getting 20+ except thibs only playing him half in the case of a blowout by the Nets.  But that is as good as it gets even at the end of the game he likes getting all the garbage time buckets.  Burks should shoot at least 2 to 5 threes so hitting one is decent.  If kyrie lights it up kd might be quieter but no one on the Knicks can guard him, kd should light them up again.  Knicks gonna throw obi toppin on him. 😂

It is not just about how Lakers is losing neither, I mean they are losing and it is a hilarious thing to see them do this badly when everyone talked about how they were fighting for championship at the start of the season. But the funny thing is, Spurs keep on winning as well. This is a team that has 34 wins total, and they got 8 of them in the last 10 games as well Cheesy.

It's like Spurs tried to tank at first, but realized how bad Lakers were, and said "how about we do a final push and go to playing tournament instead of Lakers?" and did exactly that. No team that is at 10th end up getting 80% win rate this late into the season that easily, it is quite incredible to see.

I mean it's always nice to play okc, Houston and Portland 3 times in this 10 game set.  I know they still have to win the games but they were the sure fire favorite in each one.  Portland is terrible that was a gimme 3 games.  Would like to see how good Murray could be in a legit playoff series against top competition.  Wish he was a knick..
3011  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: New to crypto mining on: April 06, 2022, 09:50:28 PM
Which do you think is better? Sell all GPUs to start staking ETH for annual return or keep GPU and keep mining other coins?.

No one will be able to answer that for you because no one knows what the future holds.  What has been stable is that in bull markets gpus are very profitable whether mining or selling.  So if you can last through some bear markets it might be better to mine.  Second question is space and noise tolerance.  Much quieter just owning coins instead of mining them.
3012  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoin whales on: April 06, 2022, 09:31:27 PM
A lot of us are confused about the whales behind the altcoin blockchain, for the fact that the ethereum blockchain brought with it the ability for any programmer to make change to the blockchain which has given birth to several developments and new coins, tokens creation so the question is who are the whales behind the altcoin market development.

99% of the work on alts is done done by whales but just straight up scammers.  All of these coins are mostly just copy/paste and clone coins or tokens.  There is no need for them.  That's who the whales are...scammers.
3013  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: April 06, 2022, 09:22:49 PM
Okay so the Knicks nets spread is so suspect.  With the Nets gearing up for a tough start to the playoffs with the play in and the Knicks playing for nothing. With Randle out I don't see how the Nets aren't an 8/9 point favorite here.  Was originally going to take the Nets but too suspect for me ...

So I'm taking the bulls +7 at home.  Yeah tough game but at home and looking to get their act together.  They might not win but I can't see them getting blownout.
3014  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: April 06, 2022, 09:13:31 PM
The Suns emerged victorious from the Lakers game that LeBron James did not play. With 63 wins in 79 matches the Suns broke the organizational record. The Lakers on the other hand have suffered 48 losses in 79 games this season with poor performance. With this result the LA team did not have a chance to Play-in and said goodbye to the season.

The Lakers are honestly so bad this season, it's not funny.

There is a real chance that LeBron/AD leaves this offseason through a trade of sorts. I'm not sure why any other team would take them but they would potentially offer some upside for championship contenders that have the cap space.

Either way, at least the other L.A. team (Clippers) will be making the play-in tournament. Hopefully they can win a few series.

Every team would still take a stab at AD and lebron.  Lebron in the right situation is a monster still.  Lakers suck he can't overcome that with the likes of Monk and reeves shooting around him.  And AD, so long as he is healthy everyteam would welcome him in.  He isn't the issue.
3015  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: April 06, 2022, 09:11:17 PM
Trading Westbrook is going to be next to impossible.  They will either have to take on a longer contract for a player some other team doesn't want or package WB with young talent and/or draft capital so that another team will take on Westbrooks contract.  Either way Lakers are in a lose/lose situation.
Certainly. Stats base he is down by a high percentage. His shooting is also unacceptable but he still have the agility to attack the paint which we can still witness up until now. Teams on the lower seeds now will just risk it with the draft for a younger player and not expensive rather than an old one with his contract intact.
A good comparison of a difference is CP3 and WB. Both do not have a championship yet and with high stats on their prime but I think most team owners would pick the former. Even OKC did great when CP3 was inserted in it and even went to the playoffs with no chemistry whatsoever just the leadership.

Most team owners?  Cp3 and/or Westbrook right now in their careers are at 2 completely ends of the spectrum.  Suns chance on a championship probably live and die with cp3, Westbrook does not provide any positive value for the Lakers.  I'd take cp3 with 3 times his salary then Westbrook at 1/3 his salary.  It's that drastic of a difference.
3016  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: April 05, 2022, 03:08:35 PM
No. It's people who created a lot of expectations for them. Did they say they will be in the Finals this season prior to opening? Did they say they will be the champion this season? There are lots of people who put good expectations on them without realizing that most part of their roster is already past their prime and seem old to compete except for an aging Lebron James.

Yes, they will come back next season but they have to remove and replace those things that are necessary to remove. Vogel is a pain in the ass and doesn't know how to make effective plays. He is just relying on Lebron too lol.
That's a fact, most fans created a huge expectation with this current Lakers roster (including me), that's clear, most fans were already imagining a final between Lakers and Nets.

Basketball is a box of chocolates, anything can happen. Including Lakers' with poor performance, several players injured during the regular season and there was not that chemistry that "everybody" expected with this ""Dream Team" of the Lakers.

The writing was on the wall with the Lakers from day one.  They constructed the oldest team they could which in nba doesn't work need young legs out there.  If this was 2015 this team would have been amazing but unfortunately it's not lol.  This team was injuries waiting to happen.  The x factor was russ which was always gonna be a bad fit with lebron and AD even though ad never really played.  With those 2 you need off ball shooters and defenders.  GM should be the one who should go.  Vogel was set up to fail to begin with.

Lakers should have stayed with the old roster that won them a championship. Trading a bunch of players for Westbrook turns out a bad idea. Now, their season is over (although not officially) and they need to make changes for the next season, and I'm guessing that WB will be traded again.

Spok nice card right there.  There are some typical tell tale signs for authenticity.  Def worth investigating more, would be worth paying to super express or for the walk through services at psa.  Psa carted this will sell easily at almost any grade.

Bigger question...what else did you find?!?  Was that the only "big" card?
3018  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA World Cup 2022 Group Stage Highlights on: April 05, 2022, 01:35:02 PM
Group E is brutal imagine staring Spain and Germany in your group pretty much wrap it up.  Netherlands wins the group lottery and gets the perfect draw.  Group B is going to be hard to navigate for the US.  England tough draw but Iran will be a tough draw and then the wales/scotland/Ukraine draw.  If Wales makes it out that will be another tough match.  Don't expect much from the US but looking to get in the one and done rounds.

Early pick.

Game : Spurs vs Nuggets.

Spurs need to win every game so they'll be able to be in the play-in tournament.

The current spread is +6.00 for the Spurs, I am taking it as Spurs will surely play very hard to win.
If they lose, I think +6 will likely be covered.

Would you suggest taking the Spurs ML? I am thinking maybe Nuggets would play loose in this game because they are already in the playoffs, so the Spurs might take advantage of this game to move close to the chance to be in the play-in tournament. If Nuggets would choose to drop the Lakers, maybe they'll intentionally lose this game.

Why not though? its the ML odds for the Spurs is very attractive then maybe it's good to put a small to medium bet on them and then have a + handicap bet as well. I don't think they will want to intentionally lose a game because it's gonna be disgusting for NBA fans but maybe they will rest some of their starters here.

They won't be resting anyone.  With 5 games to go they are only 2 loses out of the play in area.  No team wants to fall in that area.  Also they're only 2 games out of the 4th spot.  That would give them home court advantage in the first series.  No doubt they want that spot versus the 5 hole.  Yeah if someone is hurt they won't play them but this isn't the time of year to start resting guys unless you are playing for nothing.  Nuggets are right in the middle of going up or down in the west.
