3001  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Crypto.com as Sponsor's for FIFA World Cup on: April 01, 2022, 02:59:01 AM
This ain't the first time they're dealing with stuff's like this, they already dealing with Australian football League, Formula 1.
Joining/ Sponsoring the biggest event/game in football history is a great thing to see as they have been on a rapid increase ever since 2016 having over   10 million customers and over 4000 employees.
They're are also in support of teaching kids about Crypto technology, which i fancy very well!

https://blockworks.co/crypto-com-adds-fifa-world-cup-sponsorship-to-sports-marketing-strategy/

Crypto.com is pretty much advertising in every sport.  But given the world wide reach of the world cup and soccer itself this is great for crypto.  Crazy to think just 5 years ago this would be laughed or scoffed at.  Good on these crypto companies trying to get the most outreach they can using advertising.
3002  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Brady Sacks Arians on: April 01, 2022, 02:55:42 AM
Yeah makes absolutely no sense unless he was against Brady coming back which would be insane lol.  With the nfc the weak division why wouldn't you want one more premium shot at a ring?  Health, family, etc had to be something underneath it because strictly looking at it from a football perspective this is the worst premature retirement I've seen.
The only other explanation I can think of is that maybe he already got what he wanted out of football, while we know there are players which are there exclusively for the money, cough Rodgers cough, there are others that are chasing to win at least one ring before they retire, Arians was like that, even if he had 2 SB rings as an assistant coach he had yet to get one as the HC, so maybe once he got it he simply thought he had achieved what he wanted and it was the moment to retire from the HC position.

Nah Bruce has gone through the football ringer.  If everything was good, you have a very weak NFC and you are the one team with a once in a century qb, so there shot at a super bowl is like even odds.  As a coach if ypu are in it this is the perfect situation.  Something had to have happened.  He didn't just up and retire after a Brady reversal like this.  Sketch.
3003  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: April 01, 2022, 02:51:39 AM
Today my bet is Detroit Pistons (+10.5) - Philadelphia 76ers. Pistons have great ATS (against the spread) record. They haven't lost double digits in 21 games and they are doing pretty well on their own floor. I am also counting on 76ers' fatigue after a tough game against the Bucks.

Good call.  Haven't noticed Pistons have played that well for a stretch.  Wonder what the money line was for this game.  Sixers have a serious issue, they rely on the free throw line and when they don't get there they can't win games.  Might work for a series or 2 but won't last for multiple series.  They need to change something before the playoffs
3004  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: March 31, 2022, 06:06:34 PM
Nets vs Bucks will most likely be the star of the show later and the odds are quite tempting even though it looks like a trap.
So yes, going to risk it again. Nets -1.5. How I wish they will rest Giannis for this to be a sure win.  Cheesy

Two more bets I already locked in.
Detroit Pistons vs Philadelphia 76ers - 76ers -10.5 With a healthy roster, this amount will be easy to reach.
Atlanta Hawks vs Cleveland Cavaliers - Hawks -5.5 Mobley out, Allen out, Wade out. Capela will no doubt dominate the paint. Good luck.

I'm taking that Philly bet too.  Not taking atlanta although I like them here.  Cleveland just seems to be so deep they can play with subpar teams like Atlanta when they are depleted.  Gonna take a flyer on the Nets here too.  Think they don't throw up 2 stinkers in a row from kyrie.  They rebound and win a big game here.  More to lose for the Nets on this one intensity shoukd be high.  Nets -2

Good luck tonight everyone.
3005  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: March 31, 2022, 06:04:18 PM

No chance if they can't bring a healthy Davis in case they'll be able to win the play-in tournament.

Inconsistent players that surround LeBron he can't lift the team up alone, whatever he will do if there's no good help
they will still suffer from being beaten by any team who have a solid teamwork.

If they'll be eliminated earlier, the management should re-assess from the coaching to staff to the players.

Can't agree more!
Even with Davis, I guess the Lakers would still struggle "IF" they're lucky to take the 8th spot and go against the Suns.

I'm even surprised Frank has not been fired yet after messing around with the rotation many times. Playing small ball and not even an effective strategy once. I mean, how do you let Howard set when he can grab 2 digits rebs and points every game? and he's letting LeBron do all the work and fill the center position.

Well, I guess Shaq was making a wild prediction for the Lakers vs Suns result lol.

We will see next season, if coach Vogel is still having his post as Lakers coach. But for sure there will be a lot of playing shifting around, and I don't see Westbrook or even Carmelo next year.

AS for the Suns and Lakers potential first round clash, why not? Davis tweeted that if he is not injured last year, it could have been a different story, and the Suns knows it, according to him. So let them face each other again and see is Phoenix has wait it takes to take out Lebron and Davis and shut his mouth for good.

Carmelo is gone but they'd have to find someone to take on Westbrook, they couldn't just release him with that contract too much dead money.  If I were them I'd part ways with a future first rounder hoping you are good enough that then it would only be something in the twenties.  Need usable players immediately.  Lakers are a win now with lebron and AD on the team.
3006  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Brady Sacks Arians on: March 31, 2022, 06:02:11 PM

Broken clock and all that...

But I gotta admit BA's retirement looks quite bizarre, particularly the timing after Brady's un-retirement.

My bet on Pelicans: Portland Trail Blazers - New Orleans Pelicans(-10.5)
Pelicans are fighting bravely for the playoffs. Ingram came back in good shape from injury. The Blazers have lost their last four games against weak Spurs, Rockets, Rockets and Thunder by a total of 76 points. No wonder, looking at what their roster looks like, check this out:

I'm taking this one too.  Was waiting until closer to the game now I have it at pels -14.5 but with all of the people out on Portland this seems like a blowout game for the pels.  Wish I got in earlier but I still think this is good value here.  Pels are looking to climb in the last couple hlgames and separate themselves from the bottom position.  Can feel a 125-100 type of game here.
3008  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: March 30, 2022, 05:04:01 PM
Did anyone seen the great comeback by from Clippers?

They are down by a huge lead in the first 3 quarter from the Utah Jazz. I do my live betting +7.5 on them at the end of the second quarter. But at the start, when the lead balloon again to 15 or 17 points, I stop watching the game.

And was surprised to see them ahead in the last 10 seconds or so, 3 points and a win for them. Lucky for those who got them at 6.x live betting. I could have taken that, but decided to just go with 2.x odds at +7.5, but still a good win.

Yeah that one burned me.  Especially how jazz came out of the gates I thought I was good on that.  Watched the end of the game and just cringed through the whole fourth quarter lol.  Goes to show if they could get a healthy kawhi back this team could do damage.
3009  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: How can I start mining Polygon (MATIC) on: March 29, 2022, 11:55:50 PM
Hi guys, I wanna to conduct an experiment, start mining Polygon (Matic) from 0 knowledges.

I'm searching for information or someone else who can suggest me How can I start mining Polygon. What I need, how to calculate my revenue/profit, what PC, CPU I need for this.

Thanks.

Before you pick a coin you want to mine you need to look up proof of work vs proof of stake.  If your end goal is to get matic by mining then you are going to have to mine a proof of work coin like eth or bitcoin and then trade your way in exchanges to get matic.

I want to invest in NFT's and Everyone can vote for what they think is the most promising project. Maybe this helps others

Honestly they all sound like good ways to give away your money.  None of these nft projects look like they took any time on them.  People gonna cry when the entire nft rug is pulled.  Only so long you can fool fools into handing away their money.  When the train stops their is going to be a bank run in the there will be zillion more sellers than buyers.  Buy bitcoin, tuck it away and thank me later.
3011  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: March 29, 2022, 11:51:25 PM
Fading the Lakers today and riding the Mavericks -9.5 @1.75, even though there's pressure for the Lakers to win due to their current position in the standings I think the same thing can be said for the Mavericks as they can still push for the third seed if they continue their winning ways.

Also took Cade Cunningham over 6.5 assists as my side bet since this prop manage to go over in the last 6 games so hopefully the trend goes on.

Yeah lebron is not right.  I got Dallas too in this one.  Lakers will be bowing out of this playoffs no way they hold their last spot over the Spurs at this point.  Also taking the Jazz.  Yeah home game and George is back but it might take them a second to get their stuff together.  Taking the Jazz even odds here tonight.  Good luck everyone.
3012  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🏆 2022 OSCARS - Nominees, Odds and Predictions! on: March 29, 2022, 11:49:10 PM
I agree.  At first I was a little unsure of how I felt about it.  I kind of thought Will Smith had some justification for doing so, but then thinking it over and hearing other peoples viewpoints around it, I've come to the conclusion that Will was completely in the wrong and needs to be punished accordingly.  Apparently Chris Rock didn't know about the medical issue with Jada, and it truly was a tame joke and not like he was making fun of her.  GI Jane was a bad ass, it would be different if she wasn't.  It wasn't a good joke though, but Smith should have confronted him on his own terms not in public.  Very embarrassing for the whole family.

I think Will Smith has an anger management issue and his wife is in total command of him, he is laughing when Rock is cracking a joke but there's a big turnaround after he saw his wife and his laughter turns to anger, this is a big disgrace for Oscar they should take action and ask Smith to bring back the trophy he doesn't deserve it, he did not represent on what the Oscar stands for, they should have security on stand by on the next Oscar.

we don't know what's going on with their lives, so imo, let them resolve what needs to be resolved. and by the way, we will hear soon from the Academy if will smith has violated the Academy's code of conduct and what they will do if it has been proven that he did. remember, it was televised and so many viewers have seen this incident. are they going to punish him or just let it go. now, we are talking about this incident rather than the winners. lol

Sorry but he should have instantly been walked out of that arena.  You know how many kids look up to these stars.  Doing nothing condones this.  Chris Rock is a comedian and everyone was getting roasted.  Wierd Smith allows other dudes to tag his wife but wigs out over a joke.

With Paul George making his comeback tonight against the Jazz you have to wonder how they'll be going into the playoffs.  Anybody have any idea when Kawhi Leonard will return?  With them having such a low seed, they could be a real menace to the #3 seed if they get Kawhi back.  You'll be able to watch Paul George's return tonight on TNT, as the Clippers have the second game in a doubleheader tonight.  First up is the Lakers vs the Mavericks, which should be a win for the Mavericks as James is listed as doubtful for the game.  A shame, as I always love watching him match up with Luka Doncic.  They both seem to take it to another level when going head to head.

As far as I know, the Los Angeles Clippers already gave up with the idea that Kawhi Leonard will be available this season up to the playoffs. Although the door is not closed, looks like the team already concluded the situation about Kawhi not giving expectations to their fans to avoid disappointment.

But even with Kawhi and George, I don't think the Clippers will still be the same as before when they are one of the best and most competitive teams in the Western Conference. Currently, the situation in the West is so tough that we can't predict easily who will win in the end.

Hard to say with kawhi.  Dude is a monster on the court if he can play up to his level he is used to.  Problem is without touching the court for so long no one knows how he will look.  Fully healthy and playing on par with their normal levels of play the clips are as good as anyone in the West.  Have to see this one play out

The story for the 15th seeded team has ended in lackluster fashion losing to the Tar heels 69-49.
It was a good run but the dream about going to the big ball just ended before the final four.

More devastated that I lost a 5 game parlay with the Hurricanes not winning their match today. It looked like they were going to win after the 1st half but it always depends on how a team going into the 2nd frame handles the pressure. Could of won $2000 from a $50 bet.
Next will be watching and enjoying the winners today going into The Final Four near the end of the week.

Yeah that was a fun run to watch but everyone had to know it was coming to an end.  If st Peter's did win Vegas said that it would have been the single worst game to lose in terms of financial loss on their end.  They surely were rooting for unc there lol.

Finally we have started to see Kyrie Irving playing for Nets in home games as well. This is great news to be honest because this will help Nets become stronger than before again. However they lost their game last night against Hornets too. It was a loss by a 110-119 final score. Irving got a double-double by 16 pts and 11 ast. KD was the most scorer of his team by 27 pts. And for Hornets, Lamelo Ball did a great work and had the biggest role in their win by 33 pts.

I mean yeah he scored 16 points but needed like 50 shots to get there.  Those are just empty stats.  He will even say he pretty much lost that game for them with the way he was shooting.  Tough as a coach because you don't want to tell him to pump the breaks because he will get streaky and still win a game for you on his off nights.  He needs to play better especially down the stretch here.

Right now the Warriors surely is a strong team even without Stephen Curry, ....
I would disagree with you on this statement.

They maybe are strong, but how strong they are, really?
I mean, if they could not win in the playoffs without him in the past, then for sure the same thing will happen now.
Warriors are lucky that they already have the spot to be in the playoffs before Curry was injured, and lucky as well that Curry's injury is not a season-ending injury.

What the Warriors have to do is to keep building their chemistry, correct their mistakes so when Curry comes back, they'll be 100% ready for the playoffs.

Yeah I wouldn't be betting on the Warriors right now.  They will win some games but without Curry every ge seems unpredictable.  Once back they will be ready to rock but until then laying off.

Lots of tight games but I like 2 so far.  I like Denver on the road -4, and as a knick fan this hurts but the Knicks being favored by 3.5 against the Bulls seems wrong.  Knicks won 3 in a row but that doesn't mean they are a good team.  Typically teams tend to resume to the norm and think the bulls feast on the young knick team this time around.  Vucivic destroys the Knicks by pulling big mitch out of the paint.  And derozen loves playing in msg.  Recipe for disaster her.

Den -4
Bulls +3.5
3018  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Are we going to see a new altcoin boom soon on: March 28, 2022, 03:48:54 PM
The only reason alts are up is because bitcoin is.  Ultimately I think we are far off from a bull rally this might just be false hope.  Once bitcoin dips alts will tank.  Crypto has become cyclical and this is way too short of a reversal to think we've turn a corner.
3019  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: who is behind shiba inu on: March 28, 2022, 03:46:25 PM

shiba inu is somehow growing. its a memecoin. but its already listed on Binance. there are tons of meme coins out there, but not listed on Binance. some meme coins even more popular too,

I think there is a huge man behind this project.... how about your thoughts?

It's just a bunch of scammers just like most every other altcoin.  There is no reason take a new coin that does exactly what every other coin does except to make money off of suckers.  The shib pump already happened.  This thing will tank into the graveyard with the rest.
3020  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: March 28, 2022, 03:44:47 PM
Knicks winning close games now at the end of the season.  So frustrating.  I've heard of some knick fans wanting them to lose to get a better draft pick.  That time to tank for a better draft spot is over. I'd rather them win every game from here on out even if they don't make the playoffs.  Losing is contagious just like winning is.  At some point these kids have to learn how to win.  And carry that into the next season.  Another year wasted smh Sad
