Defector: 'USA Negotiating Team Mainly There to Speak on Iran's Behalf'An Iranian journalist writing about the nuclear negotiations between the United States and Iran has defected. In an interview Amir Hossein Motaghi, has some harsh words for his native Iran. He also has a damning indictment of America's role in the nuclear negotiations. “The U.S. negotiating team are mainly there to speak on Iran’s behalf with other members of the 5+1 countries and convince them of a deal," Motaghi told a TV station after just defecting from the Iranian delegation while abroad for the nuclear talks. The P 5 + 1 is made up of United States, United Kingdom, Russia, China, France, plus Germany. Iran deal worse than Israel feared, Netanyahu saysPrime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu warned Sunday against the emerging nuclear deal with Iran, as Iranian and Western officials in Lausanne, Switzerland were rushing to reach a framework agreement by an end-of-month deadline. “After the Beirut-Damascus-Baghdad axis, Iran is maneuvering from the south to take over the entire Middle East,” Netanyahu said at a cabinet meeting, one of the last for his outgoing government. “The Iran-Lausanne-Yemen axis is dangerous for mankind and must be stopped.” Netanyahu told ministers that he had spoken with Republican leaders in the US Senate and “conveyed our serious concern regarding the arrangement with Iran at the nuclear talks. This agreement confirms all our fears and exceeds them. More... http://www.timesofisrael.com/iran-deal-worse-than-we-thought-netanyahu-says/

If it's true I'm turning up the thermostat in the bedroom tonight ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) I honestly cannot believe that anyone would so stupid enough as to actually say that let alone publish it. In my opinion, this is how far out the militant environmentalists are and the art of being a true believer or a whore for the industry behind it knows no bounds. No self respecting person would say something so outlandish.

I tend to believe that a higher percentage of bikers are more prone to criminal tendencies as they join and mingle in clubs or gangs where the rough crowds flow to. You wouldn't be as welcome if you were a dork or pacifist kind of person. I'm not on the govt's side here but as a whole, the boobeoisie amongst us has allowed them to get away with what they do or allowed such a big govt to be set up that there's no stopping it now w/o the likes of Rand Paul in the white house.

Also, Israel has many hundreds of nuclear weapons while Iran has none and likely just want the capability for the power sources tho I could be wrong. Back in 1982, Israel unilaterally bombed Iraq's nuclear building facility and very few in Congress or govt supported their right to defend themselves by doing so besides Ron Paul - and we all saw the treatment he was meted out in the media: anti-semite because he wasn't for blind support for them. So, it's not like Israel can't settle another score on their own w/o us having to spend billions more in the region.

The forces that do not want a U.S. nuclear deal with Iran, nor any U.S. detente with Iran, are impressive.
Among them are the Israelis and their powerful lobby AIPAC, the Saudis and their Sunni allies on the Persian Gulf, a near unanimity of Republicans and a plurality of Democrats in Congress.
I can understand the Israelis and the Saudis opposing any deal with Iraq, but why Republicans? It should be obvious to all Americans that peace with Iran is in their country's best interests. Problem is, AIPAC is the most powerful lobby in the US and most republicans have been brainwashed in that Israel is the most important issue of the day and always will be. Especially evangelicals or born again Christians who's preachers knowingly or unknowingly mischaracterize the Bible's statements on the Jews being the one and only group that matters. I'm pro-Israel but not to the point of them dictating everything this country does overseas. Furthermore, when this country is so broke I don't see how anyone can justify the foreign aid that we shell out unless you're the state department that likes to broker allegiances around the globe w/ the peasants' money.

Parents should be responsible for watching over the content that their kids are engaged in, not the schools. But, that's what you get and can expect more of as you turn your kid's education over to the state. Many people have no other option since they can't afford sending them to private schools or having one parent stay home to homeschool them.

It really is a shame that most of these guys have gotten away w/ screwing people over. Many folks around here have a lost some here and there but to lose triple digits coins is pretty unlucky however I would've never allowed myself to be that exposed or invested in any mining or startup in this market. All newcomers should just buy and hold if this is what market they're interested in.

It would be nice getting your paycheck in btc on payday if the bull market started the same day. Either way, sure would be nice for employers to offer this to their employees but very few would take them up on it until the next bull market puts bitcoin back on the map for the average person.

Without a doubt this was debuted simultaneously with the Texas Bitcoin Conference that's going on down their this weekend. Free Talk Live is broadcasting down there the last two days so folks should go to their site and check out the episodes when they get a chance. They basically interview any and everyone of interest and they talk about what projects they're working on. Plus, there's that million dollar hackathon going on as well.

Too bad online gambling is illegal here in the US as far as I know. Casino magnates don't want those that would never go to their casinos anyway to have any other freedoms from their keyboard. ![Roll Eyes](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/rolleyes.gif)

That's a lot of retweets, he's getting more on average than most politicians w/ similar numbers of followers. I admit, I retweeted it to my little crew as well. There should be a bitcoin following train where interested parties follow each other, I've seen libertarians do that to buff up their networks among like minds.

Gold and silver, being heavily manipulated by central banks, are great to have for barter in the shtf scenarios where say a farmer or rancher would give you priority over others that would pay in fiat. Plus, these banks have every reason to keep manipulating to protect their fiat. Those that are playing bitcoin right now are just accumulating as much as possible before they let it go up again.

I'm looking for confirmation.
Someone said that the bids you see are actually units. 1 unit representing 100 shares or 10 btc. So a bid of 100 units would be 1000 btc.
Pretty sure the unit increments are .1 btc per share. So, the latest bid of 35.5 w/ 100 is effectively buying (or hoping to) 10 coins at $355 a piece

Actually, I think BTC-e is doing pretty well in playing their game. Profits are stacking up and I'd advise everyone that it's decent to participate. Good things to come of course.

Profits are coming for this outfit in a major way. Also, coming to those that wanted more of this particular outfit and have bought more in the name of this goodness.

Remittances are a $500 billion market and a killer app for Bitcoin. I'm paraphrasing, but Andreas M. Antonopoulos said something like this in one of his many Youtube speeches: If you're not white and need to send money to family in the 3rd world, Western Union and Moneygram have a nasty habit of increasing remittance prices to the poorest nations.I was hoping that this would create a major bullish trend but it seems the market hasn't pounced on this niche to the fullest in any meaningful way. Just 5% would move this market in a major way, 10% even more and making everyone some serious coinage. Anywhere north of that plus additions of other related markets and it's moonish and more.
