3021  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Monthly Bitcointalk Registered Users in 2022 on: May 31, 2022, 02:50:12 AM
You are doing this manually? Thats totally dope dude. However I find it not useful when it comes to data statistics.

Yes I understand you, but I am trying to know those who enter the forum and post, mostly in the beginners & help Board in each month regardless of their ambition. And I believe it will help users for future usage and for statistic analysis.
Im not sure though since you are collecting names and possiblt most of them are newly created account created for spam attack. The data presentation could be improved without hyperlinking the account name but only uses a straight row, much easier to notice.

But what is your goal aside from to view who are entered the forum?
3022  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How often do you transact in the real world with your bitcoin or digital money? on: May 30, 2022, 06:39:16 AM
Actually not so much and Im not sure when was the last time Ive used btc for a transaction. Maybe because people usually convert ito stablecoins first and then withdraw to fiat. Thats the common, but I have a dream to use my btc earned from giveaway and signature campaign to buy a dream car someday, its like using it actually to trade for a car (brand new) that accepts payment of btc.

I do also understand that emotion can lead us into losses when we jump into it with out getting the proper timing but on some times it pays through too when the emotion helps a trader to exit a pending losing market.
Yes cutting lose to a more bigger losses is smart too. A trader is based his movement through the patterns and chart, but we cant conclude that all are just relying on that especially when they saw the opposite direction of their strategy and ended up losing. There should always be a back up or should I say stop loss and not easily trust the analysis he just made hence it only served as a guide and not a total 100% result and emotions are the middle ground there.
3024  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BNB or ETH ? on: May 30, 2022, 03:43:03 AM
it's just that currently BNB still has an affordable price. Because of that, currently my consideration for choosing BNB is still quite large compared to ethereum
In terms of safety many will argue with bnb over eth since it is a coin on centralized exchange but the fact that the ceo of that is a popular guy, of course many are confident with it. In terms of market cap we all knew which one is the most potential for a multiplier, it just depend on the user whether which environment he is confident to play with. If he is a defi users who lovea alot of protocol then go for eth, as airdrops lurking around it. If you are a considerate passive earner, then binance has plenty of choices with their product and defi on the bsc network.
3025  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are decentralized stablecoins a failed experiment? on: May 30, 2022, 02:58:16 AM
It seems to me that TRON's USDD algorithmic stablecoin is the next one on the list to lose its peg. There's a 30% interest rate given to USDD holders on the TRON blockchain. This is even higher than what the Anchor Protocol offered on the Terra blockchain. If things are done right, decentralized stablecoins hold promise to bring banking to the unbanked.
Actually this usdd is on a great timing for people to get scared of a once incident of terra. Who would not be scared as many suicides has been declared during the ust collapse right? Now Justin Sun is a big guy, even though his project is one of the top notch out there, he should not be careless and boastful to challenge defi users that his stablecoin wouldnt have the same fate as terra cause he will never know whose gonna exploit their platform.

People should be aware of stablecoin algorithm to be more careful this time.
3026  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Wise Sayings That Are Applicable To Cryptocurrency on: May 30, 2022, 02:41:34 AM
Although we aim big out from trading or investing in crypto, but we should not expect too much from them as they can go into opposite direction and leave us frustrated.
Some of my gains were also unexpected knowing my limited knowledge on trading. I understand the fact that losing is inevitable on crypto and I had done that many times over and got some really bad decisions why not sold why not hold. Its seem its in fact depend on our greed calculator how are we gonna get profit and get rekt at the same time.
3027  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New coins bring a lot of big profits on: May 29, 2022, 06:04:59 AM
What are your goals when investing in new coins? Did you get a huge profit from the new coins? Can you recommend a new coin worth investing besides LUNA?
You mean like new ICO? its always good to invest on new potential coin however, with the current market, launching them now would noy benefit investors since its down trend and still in consolidation stage. Might as well wait for a good confirmatory recovery cause you might get toasted instead of gaining.
3028  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BNB or ETH ? on: May 29, 2022, 04:56:18 AM
I think eth is superior in relation to decentralized aspect and defi products. While bnb is useful on trading, and other defi application such as nft and many more. Wege seen how the nft marketplace of binance going on and it could literally on par with some of the nft platform. Plus the trust by investors are there. I dont have much of these two coins but I assure you these two ate blue chips.
3029  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will the market rise in June on: May 29, 2022, 04:17:24 AM
Which coin will be ready to buy. It is time to dump the all coin. Can you expect the market to do something good in June. What do you say.
Not sure what could be the next month brings to us but be prepared cause this crypto market is really volatile regardless the status of the economy. Just look when digital crypto explode in the time of crisis like covid. See how it really strive but right now its quite different since there are lots of things happened like the war and many more.
3030  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: The Legendary Forumla of Dip = Opportunity on: May 29, 2022, 03:26:03 AM
However, in crypto space you should remember; you are not at all in loss if you have not sold any of your portfolio. This is common logic everyone must apply to their trading methods.
This is true however this is really hard and painful in real life especially when you can see its actual value and you down by a lot. Of course not all can endure such situation and eventually will cut their losses or panic selling to avoid overall loss. But thats impossible actually if you are in a good project that is considered blue chips.  Emotion is your enemy here and conquering that is a brave response. Lets admit that not all can do this but thats the reality of trading and losses. If you succumb to that and it will eat you alive.
3031  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Wise Sayings That Are Applicable To Cryptocurrency on: May 28, 2022, 11:17:56 AM
Expectation is a big word. Although we had some expetience on trading or knew what to do its not always go to our expctation or should I say a win win for us. Even professional traders who are well knew how its operate got fucked some time but thats fine cause its really not a perfect parameter to win a trading but onky just a guide. Same goes for investment.
3032  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New Terra Blockchain Launch Expected Saturday, With LUNA Airdrop to Follow on: May 28, 2022, 05:18:01 AM
May I know how can participate in the airdrops they have. Because there is no instruction for the this matter. Or I just missed it or wrong understanding with it. because I still believe to this Luna anyway..
Its not actually an airdrop for free since its a snapshot for all holders of luna on their wallet and some exchanges supported the luna snapshot too. If you have old luna the one with latest incident then you are eligible for this. Sometime its confusing when they use the term airdrop for it since its not actually free but a way to receive the new tokens for new token economics that introduced.
3033  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: investing is in crypto do not be deceived by hype or publicity on: May 28, 2022, 03:59:54 AM
There are different kind of investors and traders. Those smart guys who know how to ride and earn prodits short to mid term then those who arent.

Simple things can be grasp from it. As altcoins arent all legit but only depends on the project trend or hype. Im not saying all are hype, caused there are some trch based projects that arent really hyped but isnt just notice actually. So its just depend which one is best on marketing.
3034  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: hi everybody..Nice to meet you on: May 28, 2022, 03:49:47 AM

3035  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The Fate of Luna Project on: May 27, 2022, 01:34:48 PM
The Luna 2.0 airdrop is near, do you think that Luna can make a comeback and proof us wrong? Or whatever Luna does it won't matter anymore? Because I haven't seen a project that stand on its feet after making such a mistake,  they always go down.
Not all project fall down never recover. This is based on the reason of their mistake. With the cade of Luna, its still depends since the founder are kinda arrogant even he is being pressed already for what happened. If you are like that then theres a lot of red flag from VCs, traders and investors that would likely wouldnt trust you again. If only his sincere to what happened, maybe or not? Im not really sure but this incident drag a lot even the market due to the possible outcome of such defi product which isnt safe that causes unbearable suicides.
3036  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: TRX-DeFi scam? on: May 27, 2022, 05:59:23 AM
Thats the thing. Maybe this website isnt legit. Sometime we thought of a good marginal profit the platform offers but its lack factors to be called legit. Yes their apy is really attractive for profits but you see even a latger defi platform such as luna is not safe too. What more a never heard one and its on tron which we knew there are lots of scammers too.
3037  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: STEPN (GMT) on: May 27, 2022, 05:08:41 AM
Is it a good buy now after it dropped 37% because of the china ban? i fell like it could bounce back soon
I think its quite risky since a huge dump happened. Also China waking anytime soon, the impact of the news might get it lowered and looks on the btc status isnt also favorable it could dump more. But check the technical analysis, it might also bounce too, asriloni is right it could be for short term or wait for the day to end before entering.
3038  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: HODL on: May 27, 2022, 04:43:58 AM
My portfolio is a wide net. 50% BTC & ETH. It's fascinating watching altcoin behavior in this downward spiral. Some unexpected surprises... Braintrust 😉. I haven't invested more than I'm willing to lose. Though down about 55% I'm in for the long term. HODL !!!
Some are even down than you mate and some even loses their life savings for that. I think its really an emotional damage to a lot of users whom can handle stress on losing too much $ but of course this is a risky process and not easy to conquer.

We cant blame some who panic sell to at least cut their losses by a margin. Selling isnt bad especially if your concern is your hard earned money.
3039  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Are you a trader or a hodler? on: May 27, 2022, 03:11:50 AM
Benefits of selling during a dip
1. It saves you from significant losses. It is usually best to sell when the coins are quickly dropping in value so you do not lose all your assets at once.
2. It allows you to redistribute capital into buying other coins at extremely low prices.
Actually this is good also however its your emotional that you need to conquer here. Point number 2 is a risky play as well cause the risk you derisk when you bought the top could also be a bad decision if it turns out failed. But if you trust the project then there is a chance that it could overtake the losses you lose by buying the dip you thought it was.

Cutting loss is the last resort I have if I entered on a very mid to high entry price. Well depends on the market.
3040  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto exchanges that support the new LUNA on: May 26, 2022, 11:24:03 AM
It seems majority of exchanges are gonna supported the migration anyway. No official announcement yet from binance but surely they will participate as major exchanges already announced their participation. I have a mixed guts feeling abou this, it could also be bullish as degen would think its a good ape.
