If I understood correctly then one doesn't need to refresh the page (multiple times) to see the blooming flower, it will show up when it changes if the page is just left open?

If so good to say this on the page perhaps...
I failed to see any JS that would make it bloom without refresh, sorry.
3024  Bitcoin / Mining software (miners) / Re: [MINER] Phoenix - New efficient, fast, modular miner **BFI_INT support!** on: August 13, 2011, 10:32:43 PM
So, i heard that phoenix checks all the 2^32 noncespace. However i feel that the "documentation" about it is scarce at best.

What exactly are these avg samples? What are the best settings for my 5870 so i can make phoenix really scan all the nonces.
3025  Bitcoin / Mining software (miners) / Re: Official CGMINER thread - CPU/GPU miner in C for linux/windows/osx on: August 13, 2011, 01:55:47 PM
Just compiled and now im getting abnormally high rejects on one of my PCs. Nothing has changed and was fine prior to the update.

cgminer version 1.5.3 - Started: [2011-08-13 20:50:28]
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
 [(5s):193.0  (avg):191.4 Mh/s] [Q:34  A:73  R:87  HW:0  E:215%  U:1.31/m]

Could this be related to the kernel tweaking?

5770 running 11.6 on Debian 32bit.
Are you solo mining with cgminer? If so, that is the case.
3026  Economy / Services / I will pay someone with 7-10 gh/s to mine for me. on: August 13, 2011, 10:48:40 AM
So, i will pay a person with 7-10 gh/s an amount of BTC to mine for me for a few hours. The price depends on the speed. If you can offer me 10gh/s i can pay 1 bitcoin for say 4.5,5 hours worth of mining for me. Why that much? Because the avg generation output for 10gh/s per day is around 5.35 bitcoins. Thus for 4.5 or 5 hours or so it rounds up to 1.

But we can probably talk over for a new price if the user desires.

What is in for me? If i find a block, i keep it. I know the difficulty is high, but i am a bitcoin enthusiast and am just hoping for extreme luck.

P.S
I pay immediately, not after the job is finished.

P.S2
It will be a mini-pool so i can count the shares submitted, and measure miner speed. But the frontend is only visible to me.

Did you guys fully de-install the nvidia drivers via using DriverSweeper in safe mode(in windows)?

Just hearing you are a mac user i already know you wont be mining.
3029  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANNOUNCE] Ixcoin - a new Bitcoin fork on: August 10, 2011, 09:03:45 PM
This likely happens because of wx widgets. I think it was because of version 2.9 that the gui doesnt show up
3030  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANNOUNCE] Ixcoin - a new Bitcoin fork on: August 10, 2011, 08:46:33 PM
How many blocks have been solved?? It keeps downloading and downloading to no end.
3031  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: "Tom Williams" likely sold the entire myBTC.com bank @ ~13 and bought back at $8 on: August 09, 2011, 08:59:15 PM
As someone stated before:

1. Start a bitcon business
2. Build rep
3. Disable all transactions
4. Claim you were hacked and walk away with the money
5. Buy some strippers and cocaine
Fix'd

Now we know why your username starts with "Mad". 7 would be the total number of times you visited a psychiatric hospital.
3033  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin bounty website on: August 09, 2011, 12:10:50 PM
I already imagine the domains bitbounty.com or bitcoinbounty.com to be bought. Maybe even some .org/net ones.
3034  Other / CPU/GPU Bitcoin mining hardware / Re: Ufasoft Miner Thread - SSE2-optimized for Intel CPUs, version 0.19 (2011-July) on: August 09, 2011, 10:52:06 AM
Considering ufasoft hasn't released the new source and the recent virus warnings, i would start thinking that he is the one spreading the botnet.

He was asked many times in this thread and he just ignored the requests(didn't even bother answering). I don't really need the source, but if he is spreading the botnet, it's very likely the current exe to be "infected" as well.
3035  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: TradeHill - Now accepting EUR deposits - EUR market is live! on: August 09, 2011, 10:20:27 AM
I made a deposit on 21th July via SEPA transfer and still waiting for the funds at TH. Since that day I can only see in the TH dashboard that it is in pending status.

I have sent 3 or 4 mails to TH support since then and the only thing they can say to me is to wait. At this point I am really worried for my money.

Anybody here has the same problem ?

Maybe you havent heard that the sepa account is frozen!?
3036  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Free Unmetered Hosting to get the party started! on: August 09, 2011, 01:33:04 AM
Assuming you're in the U.S. with me

Assume not, and realize that one country's fully legal pornography is considered child pornography in the US.

Everyone's just asking for you to protect yourself, really Smiley

Really? Which country exactly is this where explicit sexual images involving children are acceptable?

What a daft, daft thing to say.
In Japan, the legal age before you can have sex is 14. Given consent, a couple could film their experience. Whether it's posted online or not, dunno about that.
3037  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I just got hacked - any help is welcome! (25,000 BTC stolen) on: August 09, 2011, 12:51:08 AM
You still have coins though. In the first post you said a big chunk, you didn'y say all of them, plus with the price down to this, you are losing less and less.
3038  Economy / Speculation / Re: Vote, what will the price be in one week? 16th of august on: August 08, 2011, 09:28:55 PM
Considering, 16th is my birthday, i'd say make it go higher. Would be the perfect present.
3039  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: One of my GPUs has the lowest hash rate yet always accepts shares the fastest? on: August 08, 2011, 10:54:11 AM
I've made this observation as well. My 5850 for a brief moment when restarted(i restart both miners and clear the stats) is faster or on par with my 5870 and i am talking a difference of 110-20 mh/s. In the long run, the 5870 beats it.
3040  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: [GUIDE] Delete your 0/unconfirmed transactions in 30 seconds on: August 07, 2011, 06:03:30 PM
Maybe add a small "backup your wallet just in case" message ?
