Yeah I am just worried I have been scammed or hacked or something, can't really risk more without knowing this is not the case Sad

First of all, have you actually set a username and password in the 'settings'? If so, did you set a strong password? Have you saved it (copy/paste) anywhere? Most likely it's just a case of a typo, or an extra space etc. But if the password was weak, easy to guess or you use the same one for different sites, then you might have been hacked.

If you just messed up the password, then worry not, I'm sure admin will help you out next time he's available.

On an unrelated topic, BetKing, one of the SD's competitors, just announced they are closing (the owner decided enough is enough and it's time to move on to other things), so likely that should cause some increase in SD's activity and the bankroll.
3022  Economy / Gambling / Re: BetKing.io - 20% Rakeback Christmas Bonus - Most trusted Bitcoin Dice site on: December 30, 2016, 11:10:32 PM

Wow, I didn't see that coming...

Best of luck Dean! Thanks for all the epic promos and for not running away with investors funds Wink Hope to see around, maybe with other projects. Take care

ps. I had a small bug with withdrawal pop up screen, it showed balance of zero (while I had some small amount). But entering the amount manually did the trick anyway.
3023  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2016-12-28] Telegraph: Bitcoin price at record high against pound and euro on: December 30, 2016, 10:48:16 PM
bitcoin's trend is clearly up, in 2017 I think it will reach $2000. More and more people discovered and gets interested in bitcoin, thus pushing the price higher, as bitcoin is deflationary, it will certainly go much higher.

Yes it is totally going up, but I am skeptical about $2,000 next year. I hope it does reach it though. But I think there would first be a correction and after that it will sky rocket. It has been rising exorbitantly for the pass couple of days and we should expect a quick correction then followed by the continuance of that rise.

To reach 2000$ in 2017 I don't think so, the price can't double every year. I know everybody is happy that the price continues to claim, claim and never stop to reach the sky. What I think the price could be around more 1000USD to 1500USD, I think the price should increase slowly instead of big jump.

Thanks for your thoughts, but posts like that belong to Speculation board, there's plenty of relevant threads there. So lets not unnecessarily bump Press topics, let the old topics slide so the most recent press hits stay on the top.
3024  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: SORRY, BITCOIN ONLY : VENEZUELAN TRAVEL AGENCY RESPONDS TO HYPERINFLATION on: December 30, 2016, 12:07:40 AM

Destinia is not a Venezuelan agency (I believe it's Spanish company), so they've only limited their bookings from Venezuelan customers to bitcoin. So it's not a case of them going full Bitcoin etc.

Also, Destinia have been accepting BTC for a few years now.
3025  Bitcoin / Press / [2016-12-28] Telegraph: Bitcoin price at record high against pound and euro on: December 29, 2016, 02:45:34 PM

With the current BTC price rally, main stream media attention was inevitable. New ATH in GBP and EUR, USD still to come. Here's one of many hits:

Bitcoin price at record high against pound and euro

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/technology/2016/12/28/bitcoin-price-record-high-against-pound-euro/

Quote
Bitcoin has hit a new all-time high against the pound, with the virtual currency now well above the previous record levels of late 2013.

The currency remains below the record level against the dollar, the typical international benchmark, but has shot past its previous highs in sterling terms in recent days.

One bitcoin was worth £782.49 on Wednesday, above the £694.65 it reached on November 29 2013.

Against the dollar it sits around $957, below the $1,137 that Bloomberg records as its all-time high, but the fall in the pound since then has been a boon for British traders. The currency is also at an all-time high against the euro, at €918.
3026  Economy / Economics / Re: Passive Income on: December 28, 2016, 10:59:53 PM
You guys don't understand what passive income is. A signature campaign is an active income, you have to participate in the forum, contribute and you have to do it weekly, or no payment!
It's a normal job, even if you like posting and you'd do it for free it still requires some time and effort. Passive income is for instance when you have a piece of land and someone decides to put a billboard on it and pay you each month for having it there. You can do whatever you like, even get drunk every day and grill out with your friends and the money will be flowing to your account.

What about when you drive to work everyday and someone decides to pay you for putting an ad sticker on your car. Is it not passive? It doesn't require any effort on your side, you won't drive just to advertise the sticker, you drive to work.

That's exactly what signature advertising should be (they're not in most cases though, but that's a different story).
3027  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto bank on: December 28, 2016, 10:32:02 PM
I am almost sure that this time you will not find this kind of bank in Europe as far as I am able to know. Most of the European countries like the distributed ledger technology but they want it private and centralized. In addition they want their digital coin and neither bitcoin or any other crypto coin. Maybe the most friendly is Estonia because is the most internet friendly in European continent. Take a look here http://www.cuber.ee/en_US/news/ and here (reveals the way governments and banks thinking) https://www.gov.uk/government/uploads/system/uploads/attachment_data/file/492972/gs-16-1-distributed-ledger-technology.pdf
Many thanks for the links, I'll have a closer look... For what it's worth I tried to call some Estonian bank a couple months ago and as I'm not Estonian it wasn't possible at the time... but maybe things have changed, I'll catch up, do my homework and see where it leads ;-)

I don't think setting up a bank account in Estonia will be much different than in any other European country, but if you're keen to try, you don't necessarily have to be Estonian. They do have an ongoing programme called e-residency:

Quote
E-residency of Estonia (also called virtual residency or e-Residency) is a program launched by Estonia on 1 December, 2014. The program allows non-Estonians access to Estonian services such as company formation, banking, payment processing, and taxation
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/E-residency_of_Estonia

https://e-estonia.com/e-residents/about/

ps Care to share what kind of bitcoin start-up you're hoping to create?
3028  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto bank on: December 27, 2016, 05:35:03 PM
I've heard that Fidor Bank is a bitcoin friendly bank and as far as I know , they are in partnership with Kraken too. I'm not sure about the other countries in Europe but they got founded in Germany and they work in UK as well.
...

This. I use Fidor UK as a secondary account and so far have very positive experience. They don't charge you any montly fees (and even pay small interest on your balance). They will not freeze your account just because you're involved in trading bitcoins and I've seen staff members on community forum saying they're considering implementing Bitcoin sometime in the future (don't know the details and I wouldn't hold my breath for it).

As for the UK branch, I don't think they offer business accounts at the moment, so you won't be able to open an account for business which is a separate legal entity (Limited company, LLP etc), but it'll work fine if you're a sole trader.

Q2: Is there such a thing as a 'Bitcoin based' bank? To put it differently, is it possible to get rid of banks totally? The idea would be to have a blockchain based system capable of dealing with SEPA (direct bank debit) or things like that, just like Paypal but based on cryptos?

There's no such thing afaik. Although you could use bitcoin debit card to pay your suppliers (if they don't accept btc) and possibly to pay tax (if your tax office accepts card payments). But likely, you'd need a bank account.
3029  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Local Scammer Stealing from Businesses on: December 27, 2016, 11:00:46 AM
...
3. I am going to put out a few warnings, but first I have placed a local craigslist ad stating that i own a small tax prep service and need Bitcoin payment processing.  I am hoping to video record an entire meeting with these guys.  Once that either happens or doesn't, then the video will be online as a solid warning.

You're not going to lure them in with that. Do you think they will bother to set up a scam to extort tax prep service? You need to have (or claim to have) a physical store selling physical (preferably high value) goods, because that's what they're after.
3030  Economy / Services / Re: CGC Project Signature Contest - Owner Intend to Scam do Not Try to Join on: December 27, 2016, 10:37:04 AM
I am Reserving Copyrights Authority  of The signature Codes.
if the Owner or any Campaign manager who Use the designs will Be accused by Copyright Act and Stealing other's stuff..
Reason: Signatures Designed by Jayce who usually charge 0.1BTC. but He was agreed to make designs for 0.05BTC to give me discount because of our Friendship and Business Relation.. but Since I am out of This Project. I want owner to Pay the Remaining amount of 0.05BTC to Jayce before using the Codes for any kind of Activity.

The only one who can claim copyrights is Jayce himself, as he designed them, not you. And if he agreed to do it for CGC (for whatever amount) and if CGC paid him, then they have every right to use them.

That being said, if you feel that they dismissed you unfairly, you should demand a payment for any kind of work you've done for them before being fired.
3031  Economy / Gambling / Re: ♠ BETCOIN.AG ♠ OFFICIAL THREAD- The Poker Sports Casino Dice Affiliate Community on: December 26, 2016, 08:45:07 PM

Not sure is it just me and whether it has been already reported but there seems to be some bug. In the dashboard view --> poker tickets, the "tournament starts" time is off by few hours. i.e. it says the tournament starts in 3 hours, while it actually starts in 1 hour etc. Looks like some sort of delay with updating.

This caused me a loss of "Betcoin Daily Coin 1 BTC GTD" ticket (~2 months ago, Tour. id: 31612), I registered thinking it starts in few hours, but when I went to the Poker view, I discovered it was already finished. Didn't report it back then, as I thought the problem was specific to my device (I get some weird display bugs on my android tablets on different sites), but noticed that again recently with different device.

Yup....I noticed that also on my device.  I didn't say anything though because I already knew what time the tournaments I signed up for started and I stayed logged in until then....I can see how it could be a problem now though....if we don't pay attention to the times in the lobby it could be a problem because the times are way off.

You guys are precisely right.  There appears to be about a 5 hour time difference which we will have fixed within the next 24-48 hours.  We can certainly see how this would create a problem  and please submit a ticket for any specific issues www.betcoin.ag/support regarding your account.  As always we appreciate this great feedback.

I've already submitted the ticket and got reply saying that it'll be fixed today. I also got the "250 Thank You" weekly ticket as a compensation for the lost one.
Thanks for sorting that out.
3032  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: Bitcoin Affiliate Program on: December 26, 2016, 05:29:34 PM
The Best affiliate program in Bitcoin world is  freebitco.in .
because this site is faucet cum gambling . So thousand of visitors remain active per hour  And the main reason behind this is the affiliate system of this faucet site . This site gives the 50% earning  each time of the payout of your referrals .
So I will suggest only try once , you will never forget it .

Not really. It's great in terms of how easy it is to get new sign ups, but not in terms of earnings. Out of all my referred users less than 3% are active (meaning they would roll at least few times a week) and it's always been like that. Unless your referred users deposit their own btc and gamble, it's hard to earn any meaningful amount.
3033  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Bitcoin Gambling Investments on: December 26, 2016, 03:19:20 PM
A little bit late this week but it is the festive season Smiley

We have now made over 1 Bitcoin in profit in less than 5 months from our Bitcoin Gambling Investment. Or our $3,000 US investment is now worth $5,528!

Well done. That's a very nice result. But it will be hard to achieve similar return in the forthcoming months. Your profits were mostly generated by Safe Dice, which noted significant spike in the amount wagered and profit, while total invested funds were pretty low.

Right now, SD's bankroll went up quite noticeably (to over 290 btc) and I suspect it will go further up (diluting your share), thanks to BetKing taking down the option to invest. But the spike in wagered was due to only one big player (Juicey) and you can't expect him to bet big and lose big forever.

Anyhow, best of luck.

3035  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Local Scammer Stealing from Businesses on: December 26, 2016, 01:27:50 PM
Thanks for sharing. That's really a crafty way of scamming, but I doubt they could pull more than $1k out of one merchant.

...
I think it is a long winded system to steal shit.  I do not condone stealing, but I am simply saying it would be easier to simply keep the merchants bitcoin wallet password and steal that way, clean and simple.

Nah, they invested their time and money (free tablets etc) so they want to have quick and guaranteed return. What if no one pays with bitcoins in a long time, or what if they only have small value transactions (few bucks each) and merchant wants to withdraw/convert to fiat immediately? That won't work.

What's funny, since they've created their own cryptocurrency, and if they were to use similar, misleading name (ie "Bitcoim", or "Bitcon" etc) they potentially could get away with it even if caught. They could just claim that they were just promoting their own crypto and merchant simply misunderstood them etc.
3036  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🌟2016's Best Bitcoin Gambling Site Award!🌟 on: December 26, 2016, 01:05:37 PM
Ok. I'm hereby requesting it to be added in the poll.

Here is the official thread - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1492457.0

What's the point? There's only few days left till the end of 2016.

@OP - are you going to make another thread for 2017? If so, can you allow multiple vote per user (i.e. max 3) as well as allow users to change votes? Plus maybe sort all the sites alphabetically? That would be a major improvement.

It's pretty much already all time high in GBP terms (well, almost, there was a single, one day spike in Dec 2013 when it was few pounds higher, but I wouldn't count that). That's largely due to the weak GBP though.

Could I have:

Prefix: "1PePe" or "1PEPE" or "1pepe" - case sensitive and, if possible, followed by a number rather than a letter.

how this can be probably fair i did not think so Cry
http://abrr.ir/wp-content/uploads/2016/12/roll.png

That's unlucky but it happens. The longest losing streak I'm aware of was over 30 losses in a row at chance of ~50% (payout rate of 2.0).

You posted a streak of 20 losses at 3.0 payout, so your chance in each bet was only around 30% (not sure what's the house edge), so it's nothing unusual.

ps. it's called "provably fair" (not "probably").
