Is anyone concerned with this drop in bitcoin? I've only just jumped on the bandwagon and i've lost 10%-30% of my value already. I'm new to the market and enjoyed a good bit of stability and upward graphs for a little bit, so I thought it was mostly positive. Is this jump down a typical trend that results in pushing for highs again? or do you reckon it can be backlash of people shying away coming nearer August 1st?
I'm unsure if to try cash the coins to another altcoin or something to try gain some more value back or just hold for a while.

not really because the marketcap is huge here it can go beyond 100k satoshi, there is a huge hidden premine under the dev wallet, but i like this project offers somethign new than the other, i hope it will go in the right direction, i think 200k satoshi is possible but as a peak |

Is it doable? Like digibyte for an example which was trading at 0.005 last month and is now trading at around 2 cents. If im not wrong that's a 5x return in less than a month. I'm looking to invest into something like that for a quick profit?

lbry is oen of my favorite it can increase a lot, because the peak was 180k satoshi, and now on 30k satoshi, if they do the nice pump it can return to 180k with a nice 6x profit, i like also to mine it now because it's one of the most profitable for nvidia, but i also do it because i like to mine coins that have a chance to increase more than to decrease

Lots of people are saying that cryptocurrenices aren't a good investment because just hoarding the coins over time they will lose their value. I disagree. Not everyone is going to be hoarding for a start. If the currency has great features, potential and relatively cheap say 2 cents a coin just starting. In 3 years time it that coin became worth say 3 dollars and you decided to sell, you have made 150x what you invested. Am I missing the point here? Maybe there not good investments in the traditional sense More gambles. But still a gamble like that would of paid off so maybe it's not such a bad idea taking somewhat of a punt.

I cannot understand how the value in India are close to $3,500 whereas its a lot less in international market. Why would people buy at such high value? Can't they buy at an international exchange?
because they can't buy on another exchange, they have restrition, or it will cost them many money to do a wire transfer, or mayeb their bank are not operative for other country, it make sense for them to buy locally and $3500 is not that higher than the current value, they know will rise more |

look ETH now is 1/7 of bitcoin, so your dream ETH would be 1/7 of 1000000, which is around 140k, i don't think this is possible, for both coin reaching this high level will be very hard and require imho, almost all countries to join like japan joined on bitcoin and regulated it |

Don't worry guys I am working on it. The fast solution is 99% going to involve a hard fork. I will also be adding new seed nodes while I am at it.
IF the hard fork does not happen, the scenario below will happen:
Right now, there seems to be only about 4-6 people with confirmed ECA in their wallet. By block 11880, about 20-30 people will have confirmed ECA for staking as there were some people mining 150 blocks before the bonanza. I estimate it will take about 16-17 days to reach block 11880 if the 4-6 people stake daily. When the next 20-30 people, assuming they transferred some ECA from the pool to their wallets get confirmed, the next block where many people will be confirmed is 11950. Block 11950 will take 4 days to reach if everyone who became confirmed on block 11880 stake daily. After that confirmed ECA in wallets will be in the 100s and things will move much faster. Everyone remaining can get their ECA within 1-2 days. This scenario is based on many assumptions and I believe a fork would be a much better solution.
Keep in mind that this kind of distribution of coins was never tried before and it was hard to anticipate while originally designing some parameters how many people would be using the coin before the Bonanza and after it.

yeah i'm with you on this one, shitcoin of 2017 are far better than the purely pump and dump of 2014, they evolved now, they offer some nice features, that can be good in the later era of adoption of altcoin, i think soem of these coins will never die, and will remain active with bitcoin, perhaps used to buy stuff when regulated correctly

the chances of splitting into two is very small because nobody wants it and miners will be risking a lot of money if that happens and there is no way of knowing which chain will be worth more or even survives. but the most possible outcome in case of a split is two chains for a short time and one of them dying. because bitcoin at this point (sadly) is not just a cryptocurrency but a lot of politics is mixed with it. not that remote anymore did you see the post about theymos? bitamin is aiming to mine another fork of bitcoin like classic bitcoin or BU or another random shitty name lol |

i think both are good, but the original is always preferable, i would choose the original for 50% of the hashrate and then point another 50% between zen and calssic, i like to differentiate my hasharte like i do in trading

cryptopia is the one with the most amount of coin listed, if that what you want, bittrex also is good, poloniex to follow and then yobit which i don't like but has some coin that you can't find on other exchange

yeah in POS your hashrate is your balance, the more you have the more you get from staking, with a minimal age for your coin to begin to stake So can you tell what's a min age of stake beginig? Got my first stake dividends  Have 160 coins per day from 25k. the original post don't tell the minimum stake age, try to ask to the dev, but i think it's fast enough, maybe 24 hours like many other coin |
